Designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr. the members-only Royal Westmoreland course maintains special arrangements with select hotels. The championship course at Apes Hill Club has been voted one of the best in the world."

"A half-hour's drive from Bridgetown on the east coast, these gardenson just2.4 hectares (six acres) of lush groundsare home to an astounding variety of tropical and subtropical plants, from orchids to palms and species found only in Barbados. Thegardens were the personal project of Iris Bannochie, one of the island's leading 20th-century botanists, who began designingthemin 1954 and left themto the Barbados National Trust upon her death in 1988.
