12 Hotels That Tell the Story of the Greek Islands

"Minois, a 44-room boutique hotel in a style that’s equal parts modern minimalism and Cycladic tradition. It’s less a party hotel and more a luxurious little enclave, but that doesn’t mean it’s any less glamorous — its buildings combine a contemporary take on Greek architecture with a vibrant mix of Western Mediterranean influences, all unified by the confident hand of its Athens-based designers." - Mark Fedeli

An amazing hotel that deserves being part of the SLH collection. We stayed here for 3 nights and wish we stayed for longer!||Positives:|- The service is impeccable! Everyone is super friendly, attentive and competent. This is what makes this hotel special.|- The rooms are beautifully decorated, clean, spacious and quiet with gorgeous views (we had a full sea view). Beds are very comfortable.|- The grounds are lovely and well maintained.|- The pool is large and perfect for afternoon dips.|- The free shuttle service to Parikia and Naousa is excellent. Easy to book and reliable. The drivers are very friendly and easy to converse with.|- A good selection at breakfast. ||Negatives: |- Unfortunately I wouldn’t recommend the restaurant, Olvo. Perhaps it was just the dish I ordered, but I had the lobster pasta expecting it to be exceptional at over €60, but it was lacking flavour and disappointing. The restaurant is also very expensive overall (€9 still water). Lovely atmosphere though! |- Our room got quite bright in the mornings as light seeped through the edges of the curtains and this woke us up a few times, but we are sensitive sleepers. |- Housekeeping knocked on our door at 8.45am (a bit early for us) and another time they knocked when we had the ‘do not disturb’ sign outside. ||Overall it is a truly excellent hotel and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again!

The hotel and the staff are extraordinary. The property is beautiful with stunning views. The staff were welcoming, generous, and helpful at every opportunity. We stayed in a suite, which was spacious, modern, and beautifully decorated. We loved the intimate feel of the property and its location outside the main towns. Is a very peaceful and relaxing place to stay. Cannot recommend it enough.

Simply flawless. Andronis truly won me over — and I feel compelled to share how incredible my stay here was. The hotel looks brand new (or recently renovated), beautifully decorated, with spacious, modern, and fully equipped rooms. Breakfast? 10 out of 10! In addition to the traditional buffet, there are à la carte options included in the rate — and they’re absolutely delicious. Highlights include the smoothie, scrambled eggs with feta cheese and prosciutto, the fruit pancakes, and a “Greek-style double iced espresso” they recommended — totally worth trying. The hotel app adds another level to the experience: you can make any kind of request, and it arrives in your room within minutes. The concierge service is also impressively fast and efficient. The team is exceptional: well-trained, polite, impeccably dressed, and genuinely eager to help with anything you need. Concierge service? A perfect 10. They suggested great activities, handled all our reservations, and made changes when needed — always quickly and with great care. If you’re a fellow Brazilian reading this: just come. It’s worth every cent.

Great staff! Beautiful property! The room was very very nice. The free breakfast had great options and the staff there were fantastic. Pool seemed to be unused except for people lounging so I’m guessing the water was cold (it was a bit cold for our stay). The night restaurant Olvo had well prepared but a bit expensive food. Overall I’d stay at this property in a heartbeat. It is stunning and well kept up. ||The only downsides which I am only including as suggestions for improvements. 1. An ATM would be nice on site, I don’t know what the policies are in Greece but one on site would be beneficial to us travelers. 2. A mini-mart or on site shop would be nice. The property is a bit remote, which is charming but it would be nice to buy snacks for the room and maybe even souvenirs. 3. As stated before Olvo is a bit pricey, tzatziki at 18 Euro isn’t appetizing when you can go into town and pay significantly less. ||Perhaps as the area grows all of these issues will take care of themselves. ||With that said I can’t wait to get back and see if they do.

We were so excited to stay here, but afraid to say the stay didn’t live up to the experience as a SLHOW. Service was incredibly slow, waiting over an hour for robes to be sent to our rooms. When ordering coffee at breakfast, it would take 10+ minutes and multiple reminders to receive it. The complimentary shuttle advertised is not actually the case - it’s only as long as room on the shuttle is available and every 2 hours. As a couple, also important to share there are a lot of young kids running around the hotel as well. The hotel grounds are gorgeous but the rest was disappointing.

Exceptional Stay!! We were welcomed by a glass of bubbly. Had a staff member show us the property before getting in our rooms. The Staff at Adronis Minois @Paros greeted us with warm welsome, made us feel like family. They were attentive, gracious and always ready with a Smile!|The food deserves special attention here, we had lunch when we arrived, I had the most delicious Mortadella sandwich on homemade Foccacia (huge portion - my husband and I spilt it). We had dinner as well (eggplant, fresh fish, dessert) and the creativity of the cuisine impressed us. Breakfast every morning was an extensive buffet of pastries, charcuterie|, hot items like spanakopitas, sausage, all types of different breads as well as ordering Hot/ Cold breakfast items. You dont leave hungry to start your day!|We always felt refreshed and well cared for. |Sitting by the pool, the service was impeccable.||I loved that they have their own private shuttle to take you to 2 villages, Naoussa, and Parikia.|Adronis Paros is a true gem and we cant wait to return!||Sending all my best to all of the staff

The Andronis was spectacular! The staff was consistently friendly & helpful. The property was clean & offered everything you could possibly need. The property is also just beautiful. It offers shuttles to & from nearby towns which was great! The staff helped with reservations, offered advice of activities in the area, and directions as needed. The restaurant & bar are exceptional! My family would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others!!
