We went to this place a few days ago and we had a really good experience. The salesman, Quentin, was so kind and polite. We bought delicious cheese and Quentin explained us interesting information about them. I really enjoyed this place and I’ll return there for sure.

Google
What a great experience. We stopped by to get cheese for our two weeks in Paris. Quentin could not have been more helpful in terms of suggesting which cheeses to choose as well as white wine. I highly recommend this fromagerie off the wonderful Rue Du Bac.

I love cheese but I don’t have any knowledge and don’t speak French so I was a bit scared of how I was gonna be treated. Not only I was welcomed really friendly by Quentin but also he helped and suggested wonderful cheeses without making me feel like I don’t belong or bad because I don’t like blue cheese 😂 He took the time to find the right thing for me and also let me try wonderful cheeses. I highly recommend!

Google
The one cheese shop in all of Paris my master cheesemonger friend recommended, and it did not disappoint! The fellow who worked with me was exceptionally helpful, having plenty to say even if I could only speak English, down to the order to eat the cheeses in. And he was super right! And the cheese is incredible even by itself-- and very fairly priced, at least compared to what I'm used to from the USA's artisan options.

Google
Quentin was such a knowledgable cheesemonger, he made gave us the time to explain the flavour profile of each cheese and recommended which order to eat each cheese. I came away feeling like I had learnt a lot about french cheeses. Definitely stop by if you are in the area.

From the moment we walked into Androuet, we knew we were in good hands. The selection of cheeses is impressive, and the advice we received was outstanding. We simply described our tastes and preferences, and three cheeses were recommended to us that turned out to be absolutely perfect – without us even having to taste them beforehand. That shows just how much expertise and intuition the staff have. The atmosphere was very welcoming, and we felt completely taken care of. Our expectations were exceeded, and we are now enjoying three fantastic cheeses we would probably never have discovered on our own. We are more than satisfied and can wholeheartedly recommend Androuet. If you value quality, expertise, and personal service, this is the place to go. We’ll definitely be back!

Google
Perfect service! Went to buy cheeses to bring back home as a gift. Was unsure what to get, the workers were very patient and helpful when recommending and even offered to seal them for travel. Good selection at a fair price. Very happy, they have also wines and specialties. Recommend!

Yelp
Small cheese shops with a good selection of quality cheeses, jams and other spreads. Shop keepers was very friendly and took her time to help us select cheeses. She gave us small pieces to try and vacuum sealed our products for travel. Had a great experience.

Yelp
Mmmm amazing apple calvados spread. It went well with this iraty? spelling? Cheese I got from quatrehomme. It's supposed to be with camembert but I finished the camembert already. But not as well with comte. The pineapple spread was good with the comte. Love that their jars say what it goes well with.

Yelp
The ultimate french cheese shop, the historic Androuet fromagerie has been sourcing and maturing exceptional cheeses since 1909. Although now owned by big money, the shop is still very, very good. The service is very knowledgeable, and you'll find some special cheeses here that you won't find elsewhere.

Yelp
Gave us a tasting and great knowledge on multiple cheeses. Highly recommend this cheese shop and specifically their Comté French cheese.

Yelp
From 1909 Henri Androuet has been on a quest to acquire the finest supply of French cheeses from all regions of France. His mission proves abundantly successful when you see & taste the many exquisite varieties of fresh French cheeses available. You will also find some very nice cheeses from Italy, Spain, England & a few other places, but they sell mostly French cheeses. Some are so rare you will only be able to find them here. There is a large selection of goat, sheep, Roquefort, blues & Brie. Something for every cheese connoisseur. The Saint Nicholas de la Dalmerie is very good & very rare, a must have. The Lingot de la Ginestarie is very nice served with a fresh baguette & champagne grapes. Add some wine & your all set for your picnic in the Trocadero gardens. Roves de garrigues from Provence is my favorite, this cheese is perfumed & taste of the same mountain herbs the goats themselves, from which the cheese is made, graze upon. You really can't go wrong with any of the goat or Brie. However, if your not a cheese enthusiast stick to the harder cheeses as some of the soft cheeses are very pungent even for this extreme cheese lover. If you are in Paris & LOVE cheese it would be a sin not to visit this exquisite little shop. Vive le fromage français ! :)'

Yelp
This is an adorable cheese shop in a charming little neighborhood off Rue de Bac. You can smell it from a few doors down, and if you're at all into cheese, you can't help but to be drawn in by this delightfully pungent alcove. However, this is a horrible place for somebody just attempting to navigate through the cheeses of France for the first time. They don't offer samples, and can't really cut small pieces of most of their cheeses for you to purchase. So basically, you buy a large quantity of expensive cheese that you may hate, or you leave wondering if you'd missed out. Several cheese shops I'd discovered upon subsequent days in Paris were far more accommodating to the raw cheese novice, giving me an opportunity to experience a cheese before I committed to smuggling some home in my luggage. We selected small portions of a few of the cheeses, but were a bit put off by the size of the "small" cuts we'd requested (about three table charcuterie plates worth). No problem, insisted the lady helping us. You'll finish this in no time! This isn't like American cheese! You will walk around all morning then be hungry and it will be gone before you even think about lunch! Ummm....okay. We did not, in fact, end up finishing the cheese before lunch. In fact, I carried it in my purse in the walk down Champs-Elysées, at the end of which we sampled the cheese. Then through lunch, after which we had an impromptu formage course and and concluded it by deciding that after walking it around Paris in my purse, the last third of it would probably have to go to waste. Though we did try to power through it, the hard cheese lasted in the hotel fridge until about two days later, when we finally cut our losses (though it was perhaps only a fifth of the original "samples" that we tossed). Gone in no time indeed. We ended up paying about 8 euro for two "small sample" pieces of cheese to try. It felt pretty expensive compared to other cheese shops we visited later. Also, no photos allowed in the store. Still, the selection is fantastic, and the cheese monger is knowledgeable. Not recommended for anybody who's a French cheese novice. Try the Lafayette market instead, if you can't find one of those alley market type cheese shops (don't even remember the name, and none of the employees even spoke English, is how legit it was! Still, they were charming and more than happy to offer samples).

Yelp
A great cheese shop that's been in business over 100 years. We were lucky enough to have been taken here by a local that loves cheese. 10 or 11 cheeses later it was a great day of cheese tasting.

Yelp
WOW this little shop was one of the food highlights of my trip! I came in, and despite not knowing much French at all, the person that helped me was SO sweet and helped explain to me some of the different cheeses they had. I first came in looking to get some cheese for a wine & cheese night (for my last night in Paris), and they helped me find little bits of cheese that would fit the bill. I was able to get two different cheeses and a little bit of jam (and wasn't judged for just wanting small pieces for dinner) for a great price. I mentioned I was flying back to the states the next day, and the person helping me mentioned they could pack some cheese for travel. I left to get a coffee, and ended up coming back because it was such a good gift idea!! I picked a hard cheese, and they were SO KIND! They vacuumed sealed it, gave me extra paper for when the cheese might sweat, and it was less than 15 euro for a FANTASTIC gift that anyone would love. I will 100% be back when I make it back to Paris.

This little shop had all the French charm we had been looking for! They recommended excellent cheese and wine. Right around the corner from us!

Yelp
I love this cheese store and his cheese master. Great Brie. All farm cheeses are well matured. This is France.
