Andy's Chicken

Well, I eat fried chicken far more than any reasonable person should. Andy's Chicken is Korean double-fried style chicken, which means it's extra crispy and crunchy. While there are quite a few places in Philly serving Korean fried chicken at the moment, I think Andy's has the best sauces - especially the honey garlic. That's where they get their five stars from me, because ultimately I'm here for the chicken. Here are a few areas where Andy's falls a bit short: -Sides = ehhh...only ok. -The chicken breast can get kind of dry if you don't eat it quickly -Only two tables, and they aren't that big. -Chicken is prepared when you order it, so wait times can be substantial. (I recommend going on off hours for the latter two reasons.)

Great neighbourhood place for no frills dining in on picnic tables, or take out. You can call or text your take out orders for pick up at the resto or use one of the delivery apps if you want to stay home. I consider Andy's the best KFC anywhere in the city. If you like your KFC super crispy on the outside and tender and juicy on the inside, this is your kind of place. Whole or half birds along with sides, combination platters are available with various seasonings and sauces.

I would give this 12 stars if I could!!! What a humbly delicious experience. A comforting neighborhood chicken spot with the culinary execution out performing the fried chicken I grew up on in GA. This KFC is crispy crunchy packed with so much flavor. We were concerned that it would not be crispy if tossed in sauce… no worries here. I could here the crunch of 15 min old chicken from the kitchen!!!! Love this place ate there twice on my trip!!!

Visited this location today. Man working was very kind and the food he made was great. Got a couple types of chicken, all of which were juicy and flavorful. Only got cole slaw as a side, a little too much Mayo for my taste but it was still very good. Best part, I didn’t feel weighed down like after most other chicken spots. You can tell they use quality ingredients.

This is not the traditional Korean fried chicken I am use to. They're not orders of wings so if that's what you're expecting, you'll be disappointed. Half and whole orders actually means half or a whole chicken. Comes with one wing, breast, thigh and drumstick. We got the honey garlic and soy but there was not enough flavor on the wings. I don't particularly like my fried chicken with slabs of sauce on it so didn't get the other ones they offer. Overall, they're okay. If there was more flavor to the soy/honey wings then I'd probably enjoy it more. About $18 for a whole order. Quickly made- probably because the chicken is already pre-fried so it's just being fried again when you place your order. Street parking.

Absolutely horrendous and shocked!! Paid $4 for 4 onion rings??? Ridiculous pricing for not adequate portion sizes. Will not be returning. Would highly recommend NOT coming here if you’re hungry and you expect more than 10 fries and 4 onion rings with your sides. Chicken was okay, again vastly disappointed in what you get for what you pay. Just go to Popeyes or a fast food chicken joint - honestly it’ll probably be more worth your while. Overall really high hopes for this place, but a really poor experience!

10☆+ !!! Parked near here while in town working on the streets of Philadelphia. This is a must have. Best Fried chicken me and my coworker/wife have ever had. The skin was absolutely crisp, thick and every piece was so moist and white it fell off the bone & finger licking good! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Try the sweet BBQ, honey garlic, sweet chili or golden soy they won't disappoint. P.s. after we ordered we went and walked around for 15mins while our food was prepared and there was a guy out front hurting for a few bucks. When we came back he was eating some chicken. Looked so good. My wife asked him how he liked his food... "Amazing!" he replied. My wife said she thought the very kind man working in Andy's fed the hungry soul. NOW THAT'S THE KIND OF BUSINESS WHERE I WANT TO SPEND MY MONEY...

I had a business meeting (not the propper setting) but the chicken was amazing. We had the Sweet Chili and the Hot and Spicy. It was the best Korean Fried Chicken I have ever had and in the top 3 Fried Chickens for me. On the ride home I wanted to turn around and get more. I will be back.
