"The Washington Post reports that downtown San Francisco buildings like Salesforce Tower are 'largely empty,' a condition that has had a 'devastating' impact on the 181 Fremont Street location of Andytown Coffee Roasters, co-owner Lauren Crabbe says. 'Our sales have been down 60 percent this week' at the downtown spot, Crabbe says. 'And today was the worst yet.'" - Eve Batey

"Andytown’s new downtown cafe at 181 Fremont offers a hidden, speakeasy-like experience due to the current inaccessibility of the Salesforce Transit Center. The cafe is on the 7th floor and offers coffee, espresso drinks, and Irish-inspired baked goods. The location also features a sizable kitchen where the chef is testing new recipes. The cafe is open Monday to Friday, with plans for extended hours and a full food menu upon the Transit Center's reopening." - Caleb Pershan

They have a great atmosphere for working, it is in the park , upstairs use the elevator! Can't say the coffee is the best but matcha is pretty good and their breakfast sandwich panini press is tasty! Use the elevator to reach the place and turn left

Great cafe access off Salesforce park or from within the building. Loved the coffee and ice coffee. I love the unique items for sale here. The barista was very helpful and efficient. I would recommend this location and look forward to returning.

🙌🏽 been here a ton of times. I want good coffee near me, I go to Andytown. 💓 I have their breakfast sandwiches occasionally. They are really good! I also go with the matcha plover if I want something mildly sweet. The coffee is mostly consistently good but I’d like to make a special mention here - this picture here is one of the best coffees I have had at andytown. Perfectly balanced coffee 👌 Quite unfortunate that I didn’t catch the name of the barista ( he isn’t a regular barista at this location I think?) thank you for the amazing coffee!

I’m so glad I don’t have to go all the way to the sunset for andytown anymore! And even more glad there is another third wave option other than Nestle’s Blue Bottle. This location is everything - right on the Transbay Park so it’s a perfect spot to start your morning before work. They also sell coffee beans (8oz as opposed to 12oz that most shops sell) and a small selection of brewing equipment, mugs, and greeting cards. This is the only place I’ll get a pumpkin spice latte, they partner with oaktown spice for seasonal drinks.

Wow, what an experience! Did you ever want to drink your excellent coffee while gazing on the one side towards San Francisco and on the other, a skybridge with a well-curated arboretum and garden? Well, you have found the place! You get here through the Transbay Terminal then start walking across the skybridge - and in the middle is Andytown. I enjoyed the walk and checking out info on the different trees - I highly recommend this. When I arrived, it was during a lull but the service felt a little impatient. The coffee and the cornbread + jalapeno muffin more than made up for it though! I got both to go then sat down on one of the outside tables. The brew was delicious (they don't do pour overs but the drip was delicious enough) and the muffin was perfect. The scenery was great - I actually felt inspired to work on that particular brisk morning. I highly recommend Andytown to any coffee/breakfast lover with a hankering for a good scenery!

Get here through the public elevator in 181 Fremont or via the sky bridge. Be prepared for long lines! The coffee is excellent though and they offer a huge variety of beans for you to purchase.

We ordered coffee and breakfast sandwiches to-go on a Saturday morning. I was surprised to see when we got here that Andytown is on the 7th floor of the building, on the same level as Salesforce park. It has a lovely interior vibe, good for coworking with ambient music and space. The breakfast sandwich was good with thick sourdough bread and warm melted cheese. However, they gave us ham instead of bacon, and I thought it didn’t have enough “filling” to match the density of the bread. Drip coffee was tasty. Overall, felt full and satisfied after. Order ahead experience was seamless and easy.

The cappuccino is really good, a bit on the small side, but so well made! You have to wear a mask to approach the counter, even though you dont have to wear a mask in the building. They will strictly ask you to put on your mask before ordering. They don’t seem that friendly, but the coffee is super good and the surroundings are beautiful. Perfectly place to sit and work too. Will return. The cafe itself is not open for seating 🙄🙄 , but there is seating in the general area just opposite the cafe. It can be busy, so be prepared to wait around for a desk to open to sit at.
