Excellent restaurant - great food - good service and nice atmosphere - some evenings accompanied by nice music

Anecdote does what it sets out to do wonderfully! It takes classic dishes from Gauthier’s two Michelin star restaurant and brings them to the more relaxed Anecdote. Wonderful food and service, though be warned. The Tarte Tatin is magnificent, but it is enough for six, rather than two persons. You will need “le doggy bag”!

A wonderful find! We have visited the area many times, this time I wanted a special restaurant for a birthday meal. Anecdote didn’t disappoint. As soon as you arrive you get a feel for the place, wonderful decor and a great welcome. The food was sublime, faultless. No dish disappointed .. and then the tarte Tatin arrived 😳 just for the two of us! Would return any day. This is a place if you love food, the whole experience was wonderful - thank you

Went for the set lunch menu. The options are very limited. With just one option for starter and one desert. There were two choices of mains: beef and fish. The food was very good, and the outdoor seating was nice in the summer. It would have been nice to have more choice. The restaurant is paired with Froggys which is equally good.

Food is excellent, but with a price tag to match. The lunch menu is good value though. Great wine list. Perfect for special occasions.

Amazing place. Service was great and friendly, food incredible, chill relax atmosphere. Great selection of wines and even better cocktails to start the dinner. If you’re calamari fan, these ones wont disappoint; fresh and perfectly seasoned accompanied with a rich flavorful dip+lemon. The steak extremely delicious and last but not least the vanilla cream is something beyond explanation. If you’re around or not, do yourself a favor and make a reservation!

Wonderful experience. Great variety in the menu. Nice interior. Friendly staff. The food was very delicious. The wine was superb. Only downside was the aperitiser from the house. It was not bad but rather expensive in my opinion for what the product was. (€16)

Lovely meal tonight; traditional French food carefully prepared and served. Flambeed pepper steak finished in front of you by the lovely waitresses. It was absolutely delicious and we felt good value with a very nice white Burgundy wine. The Artisan bread is something to behold.
