Food and service are excellent. Wine by the glass is cheap and large pour, most importantly all good which we tried. Food so good we came back the next day. No drama on booking as they r open all day! So good as we are sick of resto opening late in Portugal. We like to eat early so all resto that opens early or all day works for us! All the fish main course is great. Love their apple crumble! Must try!

An absolutely wonderful restaurant with attentive service and a welcoming atmosphere. The steak was cooked to perfection, the ice cream was simply exquisite, and the Caprese salad was made without any compromises – fresh and full of flavor. A place that is definitely worth visiting!

We had a fantastic dining experience at your restaurant! The food was delicious, and Ricardo and Joao were incredibly friendly and hardworking, offering spot-on wine recommendations. However, with only two servers managing both floors on a busy night, service was a bit slow, and we noticed them working up and down stairs with wine bottles, which seemed unsafe. I suggest adding a wine fridge upstairs to ease their workload and improve safety. Thank you for a great evening.

Fun menu where they pair each dish with a wine from their label. Very knowledgeable and attentive staff. Best pasta negro I’ve ever had. Can’t recommend this place this enough. If we’re ever back in the area we’ll definitely be returning!

In the menu every main dish is paired with a wine that supposedly works perfectly with it. You can deviate from their choice, or go with the menu. I went with the salmon and white wine pairing for the main course and a starter with duck on sourdough with broiled cheese. The salmon was great, the beet puree and "crispy" sweet potato chips didn't taste like anything. The wine was good. I was seated directly across from the toilets, even though less than half the tables were occupied at the time, hence the 3* for atmosphere, even though the restaurant itself is cute.

We came here for lunch as part of our tour to Douro Valley. We were so happy with the food and service, everything was really well prepared, fresh and high quality, and presented very well. My husband and I really enjoyed the sardines and mussels tapas, but the star of our lunch was the veal. It was tender and flavorful, and the idea of the purée and the shiitake mushrooms were really delicious. I highly recommend getting this here! I wasn’t a huge fan of the mussels pasta, but it was personal preference in terms of a certain flavor of the mussels I couldn’t get past. Other than this note, the dish itself was really well prepared. The ambiance of the restaurant was really nice, and the service was very attentive. We would definitely consider coming back on our next trip here!

Yelp
We came here without reservations on a Tuesday and that was a bad idea. So, we made reservations for the next day. The restaurant was cute and cozy. We were seated right away. I enjoyed their menu because they had the wine pairings listed that they suggest to go along with the dish you order from the menu. I ordered the squid ink pasta with mussels and a Pinot noir and it was absolutely delicious.

Yelp
This is a charming, small and intimate restaurant in Peso da Régua, a Portuguese city within the District of Vila Real. With an inviting owner Silvia, who is incontestably a kind host with a great deal of patience and dedication for her guests. She started this restaurant adventure with her sister known to be a talented cook. Her husband, the wine maker of Aneto had purchased with her a winery that required a lot of attention and love. So, the idea was to create an Artisanal and innovative restaurant that would be supporting and enhancing their wine business. Well, they are now number ONE and recognized by the regional wine tourism association! Bravo ! They offer a small selection of Tapas and a wine pairing experience with eight original creations. They were also recommended to me by the owner of two great restaurants in Porto (Meia-Nau). The verdict is great! Our Tapas with Mussels and Sardines were great. The Portobello mushroom with tomatoes and a decomposition of ratatouille was divine. The Black Pasta with Mussels was also excellent. And for the wine The Grand Reserve Tinto 2020 was a delightful surprise. A full body wine with a well balanced combination of complexity and lightness. This wine offers a mixed elixir of joy with oak, vanilla, strong Blackberry , dark curent and wet saddle as well as a hint of chocolate and citrus! This is place is a great value in a charming and relaxed ambiance. We will be back!

Yelp
Amazing food. Love the way they style the menu with suggested wine pairings. Great tapas and creative and yet tasty mains. Loved it!

Yelp
This meal, this wine, this service... absolutely fantastic. Highly highly recommend. We had two tapas - duck on toast and sardines - followed by the confit pork leg for 2 with their recommended wine pairing. The food was so delicious and flavourful, the wine was perfect. We even tried their home brewed ale. 100% would recommend.

Yelp
This is a beautiful, modern restaurant serving interesting, creative food and good Aneto wines. My wife and I ate dinner and enjoyed five different wines. Our server was very good and explained each dish bc and each wine.

Yelp
While traveling, I always enjoy a combination of traditional fare and modern inventive cuisine and this place nails those two categories really well. We had attentive and friendly service. Both times we had a one-year old with us and the staff were very accomodating. They have two separate sections to their menu. First section includes dishes that can have suggested wine pairings and the second section is includes other dishes such as the cheese and meat platter, seasonal soups, etc. Alheira (traditional sausage) wrapped with thin pastry though, halfcured cod with chickpea puree, salmon in pistachio crust were some of the dishes with tried. All crafted very well and with great ingredients. Delicately balanced, these dishes have been engraved in my memory. On top of all that, we were able to taste several Aneto wines and these wines paired really well with the food. I'm definitely looking forward to ordering some of these wines online. This place is such a great find in the Douro wine region and definitely worth a visit!
