Food was amazing. We had the all you can eat buffet for $20. What a surprise. $20 doesn't buy anymore, except here. The meat was very tender and fell apart in my mouth. It looked like a small selection but actually wasn't. Naan bread was piping hot from the oven and tasty. Definitely added to my fav's.

Angara India Spice Grill (Las Vegas, Nev., Nov. 2025) We greatly enjoyed the food and service at this pleasant restaurant in a shopping mall on Grand Canyon Drive, which we found on the list of local restaurant recommendations at the nearby Hampton Inn and Suites. We entered at about 5:30 p.m. and were served quickly. We ordered and exchanged banter with a friendly couple in an adjacent booth while our food was being prepared. My Lentil Soup (Dahl) was delicious and spiced exactly as I requested (Madras hot). My wife’s Muligatawny soup was a little spicy for her, so I brought it home for myself. All our main dishes were delicious and served fairly quickly and hot: Butter Chicken, Aloo Gobi, a stuffed Nan bread, and rice. My wife, who tries to avoid spicy food due to GERD, gobbled down some Butter Chicken. I enjoyed it greatly, despite it not being very spicy, just as we requested. Our waiter (who may have been the owner) checked on us often for water and our satisfaction with the meal. We had plenty of food to bring home for one or two other meals. I wouldn’t hesitate to return to this restaurant if I lived in the area.

Ordered through Postmates and that went well but the food unfortunately was not good. Especially for the price! The portions are not equal to the price, especially the meat platter(for $28!) which included 2 very small pieces of 4 different kinds of meat (that were dry), 3 shrimp and 2 pieces of chicken. ***It also came on a bed of onions and my husband had put in the instructions no onions please. Good thing he's not allergic.*** The Naan bread was pretty good, but the dessert had some weird taste (and we couldn't even eat more than one bite). The fish tasted like it was a bottom dweller and was so tiny. Overall we were very disappointed trying Angara India Spice Grill as we were looking forward to it. Definitely not recommended.

Google
Stopped by with a friend and decided on Angara India Spice since we've already dined at the neighboring restaurants. Service was good but too bad they weren't as busy. They did, however, have a lot of take out orders. Food: Butter Chicken aka Chicken Makhani Garlic Naan Basmati Rice Vegetable Samosa Rita I wanted to order the Vegetable Pakoras. However, the worker (probably owner) said no, order the Samosa instead as it's better. We took his recommendation, and it did not disappoint. The Makhani was bold in flavor, and I enjoyed dipping the Naan Bread in the sauce and topping it off with rita. I'd return again and recommend this spot if you are in search of Indian food.

Google
Walked In not really knowing what to expect, I found this place to have a relaxed and casual vibe. The food was amazing and just because it's Indian food you could request it non spicy. The bread was the best part soft and hot.

Google
I absolutely love their lunch buffet! They have few items, which are all so tasty. This is so much better than other types that have many options, but all of which are just average. The staff is very pleasant to polite, and the prices are very reasonable. I am always happy to bring guests here to get a sense of spice!

Google
Traveling for work, picked this place on a whim and everything was great. Myra gave us wonderful recommendations that we all loved. Would definitely return if in town!

Google
Dev is the best--he is always happy to see us (and sometimes prepares special cabbage if it is not on the buffet). The food is consistently good...and craveable.

Yelp
Incredible dinner every time we come here! Delicious garlic shrimp, chicken saag and garlic naan. Excellent service! Very peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. Super easy for take out also.

Yelp
I have this love-hate relationship with Angara! They are the most convenient Indian cuisine to where I live, so when I need my spicy Indian fix, I default here. The problem is I don't always know if I'm going to get the flavor I'm looking for when I order here. Case in point... tonight was the saag paneer crave w buttery ( ghee) basmati w the hint of cumin seed. Instead, I got the heat I wanted with little flavor. I could hardly taste any garam masala, garlic or ginger. Just bland heat w turmeric. ( yellow giveaway!) Then the basmati appeared to look like Uncle Ben's & tasted that way too. I think I'm going to take names down when the cook is on point, so I never order on an off night! ‍

Yelp
I stumbled across this restaurant on my way too get Poke next door but decided with trying them out since they had their buffet lunch and glad I did. The food was very flavorful and fresh. The naan was freshly baked and flavorful. The garlic naan was one of the best I have had in town. Service was super quick in seating me down and bringing my drink. The ambiance is quite spacious but the linen used on the table didn't seem like it was cleaned from whoever sat before. The dessert area was not supplied with much but got a chance to try the rice and milk but was lacking that cardamom flavor. Overall good spot to drop by and eat some good tasty Indian dishes.

Yelp
After what they gave me for takeout, I will never come here again. The combo mix was smaller than anything I've ever gotten takeout it was embarrassing. The food is okay but way better options in Vegas like Mint or Taj Palace who won't skimp you

Yelp
This has been the best Indian restaurant in town for us so far in terms of being willing to customize what oils are used (if you don't want seed oils or vegetable oils, they can accommodate that) and actually make the food spicy (they will do it if you want). It's also a good sign the food is being prepared fresh and not just from a pre-made sauce like many places use. We went back and tried the 8/8 spice level, and they did not hold back! This is the first actually spicy food I've had in Vegas that was hotter than what I tend to cook at home. The vindaloo was especially spicy. I'm gonna have to go back to 7/8 level next time. I appreciate that the chef here will cook with a different type of oil/fat if you request it. I asked for ghee last time. He said he was out of ghee this time and cooked with butter for us. He also usually has mustard oil, vegetable oil, etc. so there are options. He was also willing to substitute coconut oil for cream to make it milk-free. The goat vindaloo was really well-balanced, a perfect blend of spicy, sour, sweet, and savory. We also tried the Navratan korma, which my husband liked. You have to pay for the basmati rice order ($6), but it's a lot of rice with a nice texture. There's a lot of interesting stuff on the menu. It's a pretty large menu with some fish curries, mango chicken curry, some north Indian and Pakistani dishes, a wide variety of vegetarian stuff, etc. they specialize in tandoori stuff at this restaurant (comes first on the menu) but their lamb and goat dishes have been amazing as well. bhindi masala we had last time was great. The Bollywood videos are nice. Service was good. I've heard the buffet is good, but we prefer no seed oils so we go in the evenings and ask for our food to be cooked with ghee or butter. Check them out, especially if you are looking for a place that will customize your Indian food a bit more than most!

Yelp
We happened upon Angara by chance, while in the area. It looked empty and had an A health score, so why not? My husband got the classic Chicken Tikka Masala while I got the Baingan Bharta. Along with our son, we shared both dishes along with 2 orders of Garlic Naan. Inside the restaurant, it's classic Indian decor. I absolutely love the Bollywood entertainment playing on the TVs. There was some huge peeling happening on the wall next to us, but it wasn't off-putting. We received our food in a timely manner and it was good - especially the garlic naan. They were bursting with flavor and I love that they're cut neatly in quarters. I felt my eggplant dish could have used a little more flavor, but maybe that's my fault for ordering it totally mild / no spice. The chicken tikka masala was also delicious, even though I only had the rich tomato + onion sauce. Overall we liked Angara, but the menus on the Yelp photos are a bit out of date. I forgot to take photos to replace them while there. Prices have raised a little with inflation, but not a lot.

Yelp
Lunch buffet for $19/person. Out of all the buffet dishes, the yellow rice, goat curry and garlic naan were the best. Everything else was just ok. Chicken tikka masala was dry and not edible.

Yelp
Angara is a gem. This is the place that made me fall in love with Indian food. The buffet is my favorite here bc everything is so delicious! They used to have live music which I miss because it was such a vibe. The staff is also attentive and kind.

Yelp
Wanting a change from our usual Indian restaurant, we decided to give this place a try. We tried the chicken tikka, jeera aloo, and vegetarian samosas. There did not seem to be a way to adjust the spice level when we ordered online. Overall, everything was just ok. The chicken was fairly tender and juicy but lacked a flavorful punch. It also seemed a small portion compared with what we're used to. The samosas were decent with a tasty filling. The potatoes (jeera aloo) were kinda strange. They had very little flavor or spice and were very different than the jeera aloo we were expecting with a flavorful cumin coating. Also, some of the larger potato pieces were not fully cooked through. Overall, this was a fair experience but not likely an eatery we would select food from again.

Yelp
Great food! I had the buffet because it was the least expensive option for what I wanted, but it was still more than I expected at $20, give or take a dollar. I will be going back to taste what else is available. I'm having a party in a few weeks, so that should be fun. Best Indian food I've had in Vegas.

Chris S.

Yelp
Food was amazing and service was wonderful! All very flavorful! Food was hot and came out in a timely manner.

Yelp
This was easily one of the best experiences I've had a Indian food restaurant ever! The food was absolutely delicious (I know it's basic, but their chicken tika masala was unreal) The garlic naan was incredibly fresh and warm, and very garlic-y (which I adore) The service was incredible as well, and the water was clear and amazing, which is a rarity at some restaurants here in Vegas LOL. This is a restaurant I will easily be returning to!

Yelp
Super tasty Indian spot. Everything taste so good and is perfectly spiced. The chicken is perfectly cooked in all the dishes we've tried. Also love the Spicy Garlic naan as a side. Highly recommend Angara for dining in or to-go.

Yelp
Dave the owner was very friendly and cordial. The food was deliciously fresh!!! On Fri and Sat they have live music which we do didn't have the opportunity to experience, but Dave said it's always packed on those evenings and a lot of fun. Can't wait to go back and eat again!!!

Raymond D.

Yelp
The lunch buffet was exceptional. The number of choices was a bit smaller than some places, but the dishes were of superior quality. Standouts were the samosas, three chicken dishes, goat curry, and pappadum (no one else has these tasty morsels on their buffet). The naan was also amazing. This was my first visit, and it will now be my go-to for Indian food in Las Vegas!

S S.

Yelp
All so good. Butter Chicken and Sang Paneer (Spinach and cheese) are great. First time we ate inside the restaurant normally just get it on DoorDash the family and the waiter was very kind.

Yelp
Definitely not the best i Dian I've had. The saag was yellow? And sour? There is much better options in Vegas for Indian.

Yelp
Pretty much the Most authentic Indian food I've ever had this side of Vegas. Came here for Valentine's Day dinner. We do not make a big deal about the marketing hype of valentines, so, we weren't here for romantic ambience. Our friends have been raving about their food so off we go. The place is just a bit dark for me. Can't quite read the menu but iPhone light sufficient. Hehe. Place clean as better as my eyes can view. Our server/business owner, David, real nice guy. He's on duty as his staff took the day off. It is valentines after all. The food- first, you will like the mango lassi (unsure of spelling) mango and yogurt. It relieves you from the spices you are about to gorge. Second- The goat curry is our staple Indian food. They did not disappoint us. Meat so tender it literally comes off the bone. The sauce and spice spot-on. Enough spice, makes you wanting for more. Thrid - We had the chicken biryani and that was awesome as well. Fourth - Saag paneer, bellylicious, just wanted to have more cheese curd only for me to find out my partner grabbed most of it. The naan.. please get the garlic one. You will not regret it. The best! A big fan of Indian food, this place is i definitely in our list. Will be back for their lunch buffet. dhanyavaad

Yelp
I had one of the best Indian dishes last night. I checked the menu to see about some dishes in which I was interested and Angara had them. I ordered the Lamb buna. This is a dish originating in Bengal and can be quite spicy. Made in a pan called a karahi, green chilies, ginger, and garlic--along with other spices--are cooked to release the flavors and heat from the chilies and other spices. Their heat scale ranges from 1 to 8 and I chose 6 which turned out to be a wise choice. Along with the lamb, I ordered aloo paratha-whole wheat bread stuffed with potatoes and peas--and in this case had some cilantro for extra flavor. To round out the order, I chose basmati rice. The lamb was one of the best dishes I've had here or in Los Angeles. The lamb was juicy and tender and the thick tomato sauce with the hot spices gave it a wonderdul flavor. While 6 seemed mild at the start, before I left the restaurant I had a wet nose and watery eyes. The heat grows stronger in your system as you go on. This was my first try at something otther than naan. The aloo paratha is like whole wheat naan stuffed with a thin layer of potaotes and peas and then baked in a tandor. The paratha was buttered and it was quite good. The cilantro gave it a really good flavor. The basmati rice was standard. I like how steamed basmati is such that each grain is separate. Never do two stick together. The restaurant is on the small size. It was a pleasant dinner because no one else came to eat while I was there except for some takeout orders. I quietly sat and listened to the Indian music videos while enjoying the food and a lot of water. Angara, your'e good!

Sally M.

Yelp
The lunch buffet is so excellent and so flavorful! I brought a friend here who was very impressed. We think it's the best Indian buffet in Las Vegas!

Yelp
Stopped by after a recent visit to Coffee Bean next door. It was around 12:30 PM on a weekday but we were the only customers the entire time. There was a single server and the buffet was closed. I was told the buffet would reopen on or around June 1st The food was decent, however, definitely not a good value especially for lunch. I mean 2 entrees, 1 bowl of rice and an order of naan should not nearly cost us $50!! It's ridiculous that neither of the two $16 curries we ordered included rice at all. I've never heard of someone eating curry without rice or bread. We ended up having to take some of our food home, not because we were full, but because we ran out of rice and didn't want to pay another $4 for a refill. While I would consider returning to try the lunch buffet once it reopens, I would not recommend coming here if you're going to be ordering off the menu. There are definitely better restaurants in town for the price you'd be spending here to get a full meal

Andrea K.

Yelp
8-28-2024.. finally our pick of the month was Angara..and it was amazing. Great location, excellent service and authentic India cuisine. We each had something different. The portions were shared and thank goodness I took at least one photo as the food disappeared fairly quickly. We will return and recommend this location to family and friends. Thank you

Pat t.

Yelp
Great tandoori dishes and naan. Had lamb saag with rice palao which paired perfectly together. Bollywood movies and music made for cool ambience. Will be back soon!

Heasook K.

Yelp
Great foods & excellent customer service. Specifically Vegetable pakora appetizer and naan bread were so good.

Yelp
Service and food was excellent here. My son and I came here for his birthday. Really delicious Indian food. It was our second time here. We had the mushroom masala and the lamb tikka masala. We also ordered the chicken biryani with garlic naan. We will come back again.
google avatar

Kelly G.

Yelp
Very friendly service and delicious food! We had the Handi Chicken and Saag Paneer and really enjoyed them!

Chan D.

Yelp
Wow!! My friends and I have been here 4 times already and we love the food and customer service so much. We devour all the naan flavors. The tikki masala and butter chicken are so delicious. The owner is so kind and quick! Definitely recommend to anyone.

Shannon L.

Yelp
The food was delicious! Fresh garlic naan bread was served with lunch buffet. The owner was very kind and friendly. I can't wait to come back!
google avatar

Yelp
I love coming to this place for their authentic Indian food, buffet style. The chicken tikka masala always hits the spot, and you HAVE to get the garlic naan with it. So good. Hits the spot every time. Also, the staff here are always so nice and friendly. Love this place. 10/10
google avatar

Jen H.

Yelp
Last takeout order was very disappointing! My Roti Naan was burned (1/3 of it)! To me, it is unethical for the restaurant to serve customers BURNED food! The buttered chicken had two pieces of gristle in it - immensely unpleasant.
google avatar

Yelp
Looking for a good meal whilst locked down from Coronavirus? Grub hub delivers Angara India Spice Grill! We had some garlic naan bread 4/5, Chicken Vindaloo 3/5, basmati rice and Paneer Tikka Masala 5/5. Spice level 8 was just right. Overall a delicious easy meal that was delivered within 35 minutes. The to go packaging was good and the Indian food hit the spot! During trying times like this, it's good to know some good food spots are still going to extra mile to feed us.
google avatar

Taylor O.

Yelp
I ordered the lamb curry spice level 7, garlic naan and rasmaligh. The food was delicious. If you like spicy like me level 7 was just right. I like to put the rasmaligh in the freezer for a few minutes prior to eating it. Would recommend eating food from here. Lamb was tender and tasty.
google avatar

Lostin S.

Yelp
Good lunch buffet. I enjoyed it. It had just the right spice level for me. Lunch buffet is currently 21.50 or so As of May 2024. Very fresh. Good service
google avatar

Cat J.

Yelp
We went to the lunch buffet yesterday it was terrific all the food was delicious i didn't try the goat but everything else was fabulous my only complaint is the Coca Cola was 3.99 The buffet was 18.99 and worth it just a little pricey on the drinks
google avatar

Greyson N.

Yelp
Tried a new Indian restaurant this time because we like jeera aloo potatoes. Overall yummy tasting tikka masala but seemed more like butter chicken because of how much creaminess it had. Still good but wasn't sure if they did a butter chicken or the masala. You get a lot of rice basmati since I think rice isn't included with the meal. The naan was good very toasty. Jeera allo was a little too chunky and so the potatoes tasted less flavorful. Seasoning is not that heavy and has full seeds of cumin on top instead of crushed. Doesn't make for the most appetizing appearance and there is more cumin seeds in the basmati rice. The samosa was good overall. And the chicken tikka has a nice tender bite. It's a nice option I will continue to try more Indian restaurants to find our new favorite
google avatar

Yelp
Food quality has diminished significantly. Buffet was leftovers and food was cold. Restaurant was empty upon arrival. Used to be a wonderful place.

Yelp
My wife has been really wanting to try more authentic Indian food, but didn't know where to go. On a whim, we saw this place, and I Yelped then to see how the reviews were. 4 stars, so we went in for lunch. The place is very welcoming, greeted by a man who I think is the owner. This place is very nice and very clean. The food is buffet style, which is great so that we can try a variety of foods. Everything looked delicious! I'm not versed in Indian cuisine, but everything I tried was very good. The goat curry was especially good, no gamey taste, extremely tender, and seasoned just right. The price was very reasonable for an all you can eat Buffett.

Yelp
We found a small quaint Indian restaurant. The lunch was a small buffet but it was so delicious. The staff was very friendly and the food was definitely on point !

Yelp
Amazing food Grilled combo amazing Chicken briayni Everything we ordered wwas 5 starts top class We lived in India for a few months. This is amazing authentic indian stuff and huge portions!
google avatar

MissPriss E.

Yelp
This place is honestly my least favorite Indian restaurant and has really poor quality food. Also, they don't give you rice with your meal. To serve rice with an Indian meal is Standard Procedure, and it probably costs them about 20-50 cents to give their customers rice with their dish. They are clearly very cheap and cut corners at this restaurant which is a MAJOR turn off. The saag I ordered barely has any spinach in it. It's mostly orange colored (I'm not sure why and I'm scared to find out) and it's got very bizarre tasting chicken in it. I had to feed it to my dog. He enjoyed it, so that's a plus.
google avatar

Marites D.

Yelp
Grand Canyon Parkway has a variety of eateries and I made a stop over at this place for lunch. The dining area is nice and clean. I love the earthy decor of simple paintings, lanterns, and polished wood with red and gold tone, it makes the restaurant look very royal and welcoming. I was approached by the owner Dev and he asked if I want a table or booth. When I chose booth, he offered if there's anything I would like to drink aside from water. I went for Mango Lassi. When you dine in, they serve complimentary naan with your choice of plain or garlic. I always go for garlic naan, I like good flavor. I noticed there are a couple of TVs mounted high on the wall where you can watch scenes of Bollywood entertainment. For the price of $11.99 they offer just a few popular Indian dish like Samosa, Peas Pulao, Spinach Saag, Karahi Paneer, Sautéed Cabbage, Navratan Korma, Tandoori Chicken, Goat Curry, Chicken Tikka Masala, and Chicken Biryani. They have a small bar with tamarind and mint chutney and a few salad toppings. For dessert there's Gulab Jamun, which is an Indian milk cheese ball that's fried and soaked in honey syrup, and Kheer which is a delicious rice pudding that's served chilled. I sampled most of the savory dish. I think the food here taste good, the meat is very tender, I love the tandoori chicken, the curry, masala, and korma are full of flavor and spice, and my favorite is the samosa, which is crispy with lots of pastry layers and it has a delicious potato and peas filling. I was already full from one plate and I didn't have enough room to try the salad and dessert. Dev was nice to give me a takeout box for the garlic naan and a to-go cup for Mango Lassi. I know they don't offer as many Indian dish as I've had at Delhi Indian Cuisine, but I feel the price at this location is reasonable and the service is friendly. The owner Dev is very kind, polite, and attentive. This is actually his fourth year managing the restaurant and I think he's doing a great job keeping customers happy. I was told dinner starts at 5pm, it's more of an A La Carte. I'll probably make a return visit for that and see how it goes. Overall it's good food, fair price, and great service!

Yelp
Food is DELICIOUS, authentic and service is super friendly! Best raita I've had since being in India.

Yelp
The food is very good very fresh and very good very fresh. The staff is very friendly helpful. I would recommend it to anybody who likes Indian food

Geri D.

Yelp
Absolutely one of the best Indian restaurants around. We eat there often, and we now know the owner, Dev..great guy and very accommodating. We are going there today. Their lunch buffet is awesome and huge selection..yum, yum.

Todd S.

Yelp
Got the buffet we with a friend. Must've been an off day, but it wasn't busy, the selection was minimal, the cold part of the buffet contained some items that were clearly pretty old (toss those onions!), but it wasn't the worst. Lazeez (so far) has the best Buffet followed by Spice. Mint is next.

C. J.

Yelp
We've been coming here for years! The food is delicious and Dal (the owner) is so friendly. I can't comment on the buffet, because we get take out, but the ambiance inside the restaurant is lovely. Dark and warm, very inviting. The veggie samosas are a nice size to start things off, the Vindaloo has just enough spice, the Aloo-Go-Bi is flavorful and the rice portions are generous. I also appreciate how Angara uses quality containers, packages orders tightly/securely and comes with everything you need (napkins, utensils, etc.). This is a great place to stop on the way home after a long day.

FeFe C.

Yelp
I looooooove the food. The ambiance is great, just a tad too too dark. But they give you warm vibes
