Angel Central

Great shopping centre. Very clean and well organised. Nice shops, cinema and restaurants around. Love spending my time around Angel.

Was a really lovely area of London to visit. Had a vibe of small town , love individual shops. We walked to here from St Pancras , had a lovely lunch and explored shops and walked back .

I enjoyed my visit. Totally different space. But it captures the energy of the xmas season gracefully. The seats in the middle open space of the liverpool road entrance make a beautiful difference.

Good selection of shops. Grateful for the toilet facilities which were clean and the only such option for some distance around.

I go here quite a lot. It has an H&M fashion store, several places to eat including itsu., and a Muji store, amongst others. There is a Vue cinema upstairs that I go to a lot. There is an escalator up to that level but not down. There are lifts but they are not always working On that level there is a Wagamama and another entrance into H&M, which is over two levels.

A good mix of high street chain stores along with a few restaurants and a cinema. It’s clean and well kept and a pleasant place to grab a few items. Notable stores include Uniqlo, Muji and Argos.

The carpark, is terrible. Over price and the terminal for payment doesn’t work. No notice on the screen, which means you could be over charge. Centre Management doesn’t want to listen. Intercom doesn’t work. The car park charging point doesn’t work either, always full of contractors vans. Never any spaces to park. Prepare for the busy time.

Bad experience, I'm not sure if it's racial profiling or what but sometimes when I'm off work I like to go out with my child and I pass by here as like a pit stop to feed my child or just rest a bit, but every single time I do no matter where I sit and I purposely sit in random places to see if it's the result and it always is security will come and just stare at me and face their body cams in mine and my child's direction making me feel uncomfortable and like I'm doing something wrong. And there would be other people doing the exact same thing I'm doing but the focus would be solely on me.

Angel Central is a small shopping mall/area in the London borough of Islington, it features a few stores and restaurants including a new Uniqlo which is one of the flagship areas of the centre's ongoing £11 million refurbishments (there is still some construction going on here but it isn't noisy) It is probably one of the nicer and more modern places to shop in Islington, which I must add really has fallen behind with many of its' stores especially on Liverpool Road including the likes of Waitrose and Marks and Spencer, seeming to really fall behind the regular chain standards. I do like the balcony which has a few stores and restaurants including Bella Itallia, Gourmet Burger Kitchen and a Vue Cinema. The overall look and feel of the place reminds me a lot of the larger London Designer Outlet in Wembley. Other stores located here include fairly new branches of Paperchase and Argos. Obviously the store and restauraunt selection could be better and I could name dozens of places across London with an equal or greater selection of such, but this place is showing innovation and wanting to improve which I like, it looks good and it is one of the better places to shop in a couple of miles (which in London can seem pretty far). 3*
