Absolutely love Angel donuts! My son and I visit every single weekend for years and recommend it to anyone that’s interested. I can guarantee you will be thankful if you stop. My son looks forward to a chocolate sprinkled donut and beignets all week and I love the apple fritters, and everything else I have tried. You can count on friendly service, excellent donuts/treats, and it’s pet friendly. My son is proudly the first ever visitor with a cat on a leash!

Google
They have more than one option for gluten free. All the items I got were gluten free. I got a chocolate frosted donut, chocolate chip muffin, chocolate chip cookies (package of 2) and a white chocolate mocha frappe (with coffee). My total was $20.04 Everything in the case is clearly labeled. The lady at the counter was very friendly and knowledgeable. Donut was cakey, but not too thick. It had chocolate icing. Muffin was so soft. Tasted buttery and not too sweet for being chocolate chip. I ate it the fastest out of the items. Cookies look like they were hard, but they were soft once you bit into them. Frappe was a good accompaniment to my breakfast.

A Haven for Coffee and Donut Lovers: Tucked away in the heart of Austin, Texas, lies a gem that will captivate your senses and leave you craving for more – Angel's Donuts and Treats. This cute bakery and coffee shop seamlessly blends vintage charm with modern delights, making it an absolute must-visit. Upon entering, I was immediately struck by the unique layout. The entrance I used led me into a spacious, living-room-like area complete with plush couches and seats, exuding warmth and coziness. A narrow passageway, reminiscent of an alley, guided me to the cashier and ordering area, flanked by another entrance and an inviting patio with additional seating outdoors. This clever design creates an intimate atmosphere, perfect for relaxing and indulging. The aroma of freshly baked donuts wafted through the air, teasing my taste buds and building anticipation. I opted for the iced mocha, original glazed donut, and chocolate sprinkle donut – a trio that would prove to be a match made in heaven. The iced mocha was velvety smooth, rich, and expertly crafted, with a deep, satisfying flavor that rivalled some of the best coffee shops in the city. Paired with the donuts, it was a symphony of flavors and textures. The original glazed donut was a masterclass in simplicity, boasting a delicate balance of sweetness and tender, fluffy interior. The chocolate sprinkle donut added a delightful pop of color and flavor, its moistness and subtle chocolate notes elevating the experience. Beyond the exceptional food and drink, Angel's Donuts and Treats boasts an impressive collection of board games and books, inviting patrons to linger and socialize. This thoughtful touch transforms the space into a vibrant community hub, fostering connections and memories. Price Range: Moderate ($5-$10 per person) Angel's Donuts and Treats has earned its place as a beloved Austin institution, offering an unparalleled blend of delicious treats, cozy atmosphere, and community spirit.

Google
This place was a hidden gem I found driving around in the four points austin area. They had shelves of vegan donuts here, vegan cinnamon roll vegan beignets, vegan cinnamon twists, and vegan kolaches!! This is an amazing place to stop by for a donut for vegans and regular people. There is non vegan options as well such as cake balls canolis. Ice cream sandwiches, macaroons, cake balls. I highly recommend the vegan mochi donuts!! A unique donut experience. Taste like an extra fried crispy donut, my new favorite donut!! They also had a vegan fruit pebble donut here that was really cool! So many options here I could go on. Just know that this place won't disappoint you. If you're in the area stop on by and support this local business! You can taste the quality ❤️❤️

Google
Amazing clean bakery, friendly, vegan, delicious, do not miss this, soul hitting for vegan, eggless beignets, gluten free, donuts/holes, chocolate glaze, cream filled donuts too. The options are vast in store - mind blowing. Fantastic place especially if visiting Austin totally worth the drive and scenic route.

Google
Obsessed with the puns. Allergy friendly milks and gluten free donuts. Tucked away in a cute shopping area. Angel Donuts has varieties of cake pops, doughnuts, coffee, cold drinks. There are several gluten free options. Just ask the staff and they’ll tell you. None of the gluten free doughnuts were out on display but she described each one to me and could get it from the back for me. Tried out the cafe du monde coffee and chicory coffee. It’s an interesting flavor. Chicory is really good for you so it’s worth a try. The coffee is super hot….which is amazing. Who wants lukewarm right? Check out the pictures….

Google
Best donut, kolache, coffee shop in NW Austin. On 620 . You will know it from the wonderful aroma when you walk in. Very friendly service. I especially like the kolaches and the apple fritters .

Yelp
I had a mixed experience with this place. I've had some of their donuts and found them to be tasty and enjoyable, so when the holidays rolled around I wanted to send some donuts to a friend as a gift. I emailed the owner and had several email exchanges about what I wanted - lettered donuts decorated in a Christmas theme (I also sent inspiration pics). After the donuts were delivered I emailed the owner and asked if there was a misunderstanding on the order or if she approved of the product that was made... she never responded. If what I asked for was unreasonable then the owner should have told me and explained to me exactly what she was planning/capable of making.

Yelp
What a delicious hidden gem. And I mean hidden. I pass by this place twice a day for 2 years and never even knew it was here. Plenty of parking spaces, in a private parking lot. Which is always nice. When you walk in you see a couch and coffee table and some tables. They even have games and a place to bring books, like a little bring one take one library. So charming. There's also a men's and women bathroom. Looks like a great place to come and do some work. It's really quiet. Towards the back there is the cashier and donuts and drinks. I did look around, and take pictures of their merchandise wall. Shirts and mugs. They do have outside seating as well in the back, and small dog dishes for the fur babies. The outside patio is covered from the Texas heat. It's actually really nice outside. I placed my order. I got the caramel latte frappe with oat milk, no whip cream. It was very refreshing since it was 105 degrees today. the flavor was outstanding. Made to perfection for sure. I also got the strawberry mochi, sorry I didn't take a picture of it. I couldn't wait. It was very good. Crunchy on the outside and chewy inside. Strawberry flavor definitely was there. So yummy paired with the frappe. Think I found my go to spot for drinks and a treat. Service was great. The young lady working the counter was very nice. Since it was my first time, I did need time to look over the drinks and everything that they had to offer. She was patient. When I was done, I placed my order. Very quick to make my drink and I was on my way.

Yelp
Yay for GF donuts and treats. This place is very spacious, board games to play while you hang out. Huge selection of donuts, kolaches, coffees, cold beverages like milk, juice and pop. They have GF donuts (chocolate, powder sugar, and cinnamon sugar). We got all 3 of course, very good. Chocolate covered was the best one. Also got a GF muffin to go, can't wait to try that later. Server was very friendly and helpful! Highly recommend if you're GF and in the area!

Yelp
Found this place when searching for gluten free donuts in the Austin area. We came around noon on a Saturday and they still had plenty of options- they keep the GF donuts in the back to help avoid cross contamination. They had cinnamon sugar, powdered sugar, and chocolate icing. Since we rarely get donuts, we had to try all 3. I think the chocolate was my favorite since the other two were slightly more dry, but still fluffy and didn't seem like GF texture. I also had to try and cake ball and that was amazing! You would not have thought it was GF. For non GF folks, they have tons of cake ball flavors that would be fun to try. I am glad there's a place with delicious GF options. Definitely worth checking out!

Yelp
Super cute place to come and relax, have a drink and snack. Very clean inside. I came through the back area which had couches and a little library area and some games to chose from. Down the hall you get to the good stuff. Presentation of the food is nicely set. I came for a cake pop but they also have donuts and small breakfast selections as well. I did notice they have gluten free options also. My review is based on the overall experience but I honestly felt the cake balls were lacking. The outer shell tastes a bit like they had been frozen, they all have the same outer shell. For the salted caramel that taste overpowered the inside taste, since it was a bit bland. I did like the inside taste of the cookies and cream. The carrot cake was good but make sure you like spice, it was very heavy on the spice. The were all very dense and were not dry so that was a good thing. And they are a bit pricey but they are good in size too. Cute place, I'll try the donuts next to compare.

Yelp
I almost cried when the staff made a giant sweeping motion indicating all the non-dairy options! Ordered the eclair, maple glazed, and vegan sweet and spicy. I could have eaten 50 eclairs! Those things were so special! Happy stuffed donut face! Yay!
google avatar

Yelp
I have celiac disease so I am gluten free! Very yummy cake donuts! Soft but not crumbly. The cake taste was very nice. I liked the chocolate glaze the best! Donuts - powdered sugar, cinnamon sugar, and chocolate glaze. GF and vegan. They are kept in the back to prevent cross contact with the regular donuts. The price was under $3 which was great! They also have gluten free muffins, cake balls, chocolate chip cookie and macarons. Employees were very nice and friendly. GF Donut Prep from company "They are prepared and stored separately. We have numerous customers with celiacs so we are very careful about cross contamination!"

Yelp
I'm not quite sure what I was expecting but i know it wasn't to have my life changed by the blueberry bubble tea and red velvet cake donut I had at Angel Donuts & Treats. Seriously, the blueberry bubble tea was THE best boba tea I've probably had, well, ever. The balance of the blueberry milk tea with the actual boba=HEAVEN. I can't hype it up enough. I also had the red velvet cake donut (perfect), the green tea mochi donut (amazing), and the spicy bacon popper (OMG), which I didn't even get a picture of because I ate it too fast. Just trust me tho. Get it. I ordered online and picked it up-It was a little hard to find but worth all the trouble. I will be back. Sooner than later!! I am so glad I came across this little gem!!!

James B.

Yelp
This is always a great place for yummy treats. Always good customer service. I have been coming since they first opened.

Yelp
terrible, not what you expect at all. service was great, food 3/10, ambiance was also amazing. it's really just the food

Yelp
Angel doughnuts is so yummy! The workers are very knowledgeable and helpful in answering all your questions/concerns. Great find! I like their taro & coconut bubble teas!

Yelp
This morning I finally got to visit this place, after reading it was one of the best places for donuts in the Austin area. Overall, the products are good but the customer service has ample room for improvement. The breakfast tacos were "mini" but tasty... pricey for the size of serving. I got a pretty good sample of their donuts, including the "mochi" ones. They are tasty but they gave me the impression of fried dough that was had been made perhaps the day before? The vegetarian kolache was good, my kids said it reminded them of the taste of the steamed buns at the market in Seattle (big compliment!). The beignets were at the same level as the doughnuts. I also got a couple of the cake balls but haven't tried them yet. They get an A+ for variety and presentation for sure. The cashier who helped me was stern, did not make me feel welcome but then again, one of the owners came out when I just arrived, looked at me with a very serious expression and went back inside, not a smile, a "good morning" or "someone will help you shortly. To me those are very important things when I make the decision about returning to a place or not.

Yelp
We found this place when my kid wanted donuts and I didn't know of any donuts shop near our apartments. My kid and I both love it. It's sophisticated, delicious, and the flavors that are available are incredible.
google avatar

Yelp
Amazing donut would recommend it to people I really also liked the kolaches the bubba tea was delicious

Yelp
I have been here a hand full of times. Once recently when the donut shop I go to was closed. Their donuts are good and I like the different flavors you can get that stand out from a traditional donut shop (pumpkin, I believe we had mochi flavored ones as well). Those were fun to try! The cake balls are really tasty and pretty massive. The cakes in a jar are very good as well. This place is really cute and I really prefer to support my local small businesses (not just heb, etc) but some of the things are far too overpriced for me. I know inflation is raging right now, but even before covid their prices were quite high. I deducted a star because I came to get Valentine's Day treats for my kids and they charged me several dollars for a tiny valentine themed box big enough to fit 2 cake balls in and the boxes were used/broken.
google avatar

Yelp
A hidden gem with a lot of choices for a sweet treat or a drink. I walked in and first saw a case with macarons and cake balls. Then I noticed donuts behind the counter. I see Mochi Donuts! I got one lemon and strawberry Mochi donut. I got several cake balls. I am not disappointed at all. Each sweet treat was awesome. The Mochi donut was crunchy on the outside and slightly chewy on the inside. Each cake ball was very moist and not too sweet. I will definitely visit again when I'm in the area.
google avatar

Yelp
On a chilly morning, I was craving a sweet treat and latte, so I pulled up to this donut shop tucked away in a corner building across the movie theater. I ordered a dozen donut holes, a soy latte and a small jalapeño/cheese/sausage kolach. The employees were polite and efficient. I didn't even ask for the kolach to be warmed up, but the employee was kind enough to do it for me anyway. Coffee was pretty good, though I should've asked for more vanilla since one pump wasn't enough. Kolach had a good sausage:bun ratio and wasn't spicy-- it just had the taste of jalapeño and a lil tiny kick. The donut holes were nice n fluffy and chewy (in a good way). Would I come back? Yeah! There's a lot of other donuts there I'd like to try- especially the mochi donuts!
google avatar

Yelp
Excellent donuts. Their red velvet and their old fashioned donuts were really good. We also tried their kolaches. Very good.

Yelp
Such a cute place! First time in this part of town and ran across Angel Donuts & Treats. We decided to stop for a coffee and a donut or two and glad we did! I tried the Bavarian filled eclair and French Vanilla Latte. The eclair was good, just like any other donut shop really. The vanilla latte was too sweet for my liking. But there is much more than just your typical donuts to choose from which makes this place unique! They have gluten free treats, desserts like macarons and cake balls, bubble teas and a wide range of coffee drinks. I would love to come back to try their gluten free options! The staff was so sweet and patient. There is some indoor and outdoor seating and plenty of parking available.
google avatar

Jessica T.

Yelp
Such a cute spot! Friendly staff, excellent breakfast selection, and everything tasted great. We will definitely be coming back every time we visit Austin!
google avatar

Sabrina H.

Yelp
So cute! Everyone is very friendly and I'm so happy to see such a big selection of vegan and gluten free options!
google avatar

Bethany W.

Yelp
Even though they were out of gluten free donuts when we got there in the afternoon (not surprised, we aren't morning people!), the blueberry cake donut and the chocolate frosted old fashioned donut were both amazing! I'd definitely come back when I'm in the area again.

B P.

Yelp
Ordered beignets, cake pops, donut holes, and cold brew. Beignets were chewy and stale. The donut holes were average. The cold brew was a cup of cream that I can only hope coffee fell into. The cake pops are a gift to a friend, so we will see how it goes, but at this point I don't have high hopes.
google avatar

TJ T.

Yelp
This place advertises as gluten free but they barely make any daily and twice now we have driven 30-40 minutes due to food allergies only to be told they "ran out because they had a large order" They also will not make them for you, seems like everything is pre made else where. Not happy with this place, don't advertise as something you are not. Just say you are a regular donut shop that may have a gluten free option if you are lucky. Don't say you are a gluten free bakery.
google avatar

Sara O.

Yelp
First time here, and we are fans. It's hard to find a place that has good coffee for the grown ups as well as food that the kids will eat. The donuts are nice, the kolache are good as well. The donut hole isn't as airy as I've come to find at Donut 7, but the taste was good. We've got cake balls, haven't tried them, so i can't render an opinion yet. The aesthetic is nice, the restrooms are clean, and the staff is nice. We will definitely be back.
google avatar

Angela G.

Yelp
Went late so WAY less options but enjoyed a cinnamon donut and glazed swirl. Go early in the day for even softer and tastier donuts and more to choose from!

Renie H.

Yelp
Cutest cafe, drinks are good, staff is nice, and the cake balls are a fave of my coworkers and I. I stop by and get drinks for all of them almost weekly all summer and the ladies there handle my order with skill and care!
google avatar

Yelp
High 3 stars - donuts were great, but our bubble tea's were pretty bad. Cute spot, plenty of seating. I got here at 9:15am on President's Day and it was pretty empty. By 10am there were more customers but still no line or wait. I got: * Apple fritter - 3.5 stars. Great apple chunks. Which the dough was a little more soft. * Maple bacon mini - 3.5 stars. Love the flavors and the super soft dough. Bacon is quite soggy though. * Avocado bubble tea - 2 stars. This was basically sugar water, no avocado flavor. * Carrot cake pop - 3.5 stars. I ate this a day later and it still retained its moistness. However, it was quite dense - practically like raw dough.

Yelp
Angel donuts and treats is a Mecca of cake balls, donuts, caffeine, and all the treats of my sugar dreams. Stopped in during the week to grab a coffee and treat, and ended up staying a while to get some work done. This is such a great place! They have a good amount of tables, with under table access to plugs, and it's well set up for the space it has. Very peaceful and comfy. So, they have cake balls - I tried two - salted caramel wins for best flavor and texture but by no means am I done sampling the goods. They also had muffins, donuts, and even some breakfast tacos and other breakfast sandwich items. I am so happy I found this place and I am just itching to get back and try more.
google avatar

Yelp
I stopped in for a quick donut and ended up selecting a lemon-filled donut and a bavarian-filled bar. The location itself is a little out of the way for me, but I didn't mind the drive so much and parking was readily available. There are two entrances - one nearest to the main road which is actually a back entrance and the front entrance around the other side of the building. It's a little unusual to walk through a long hallway to get the the front, but the atmosphere was pleasant, clean, and no crowded at all. I noticed they offered gluten-free cake balls in chocolate and vanilla but did not see any gluten-free donuts. They also had a full coffee, tea, and boba tea menu. I'd already had several cups of coffee for the day so I didn't have the opportunity to try that. My main reason for a three-star review was the lemon-filled donut which was essentially sweet bread with a dab of barely lemon-flavored filling. The lemon itself was essentially undetectable and the entire donut had what amounted to less than a tablespoon of filling. Absolutely abysmal. The bar was nicely filled and the bavarian had a delicious flavor, but one out of two isn't a great place to start. I was very disappointed in my experience as a result of this.

Yelp
Their HAM AND CHEESE CROISSANTS are the BEST !!!!! most definitely a must try, either a regular Ham and Cheese Croissants or Jalapeño Ham and Cheese Croissants. Can't go wrong with either or

Abhishek P.

Yelp
This place is great. People are nice, treats are delicious, dogs are alllowed in if they're on a leash , cute little space with nice coffee and sweet stuff! Even their gluten free treats are absolutely divine and they do a great job of minimizing cross contamination since no sicknesses after eating! My favorite though, that cookies and cream cake ball. I could 20 of them and it would be worth the beetus! You won't go wrong with anything from here!

Peleg Katz K.

Yelp
cutest place ever, great coffee and doughnuts. the workers were super nice and they had milk substitutes!
google avatar

Shashikala P.

Yelp
We have been here few times, if it's only for donuts then it's 4stars, have almost tried all their donuts, eclairs, my son likes their mini chocolate sprinkles donuts. Coffee is decent. Last time got some beignets, oh god! It was a disaster, they warmed it, it was like chewing hard rubber. So from now will stick to only donuts. Would recommend this place but stay away from beignets!!!
google avatar

Sean M.

Yelp
I can walk to Angels bc I live at the apartment complex right next to the shopping center it's located in. They have a Nutella filled donut that'll blow your mind and put you into a sugar coma. Also the vegan options are great. Their fast tacos are small, but hey. They're still good! Their iced coffee is delish and the people who work there is really nice. Def recommend angels, and will continue to support local!

Kaci O.

Yelp
Food is good - the girls are always so nice - the atmosphere is calm and relaxing! Easily get some work done there with a nice drink.

Elmira B.

Yelp
Delicious donuts and nice coffee shop. You can choose the filling of your donut which I really love their Nutella filling donuts ... out of this world.

Yelp
This place is such a happy find! I am usually not up the 620 way, but when morning brunch plans didn't pan out, this place was like an answer to a hangry food prayer! They have a pretty awesome an eclectic selection as far as donuts and cakeballs are concerned. They just have a neato menu in general. I had a vietnamese iced coffee that was delish with beignets and two maple bacon donut bites. The beignets were a bit lacking, but still good. I mean, if you are looking for Le Monde caliber, go to NOLA. But, OMFG those maple bacon bites! They were just wow...I totally went full fatty and got an additional two! I came back a separate time from my first visit just looking to satisfy my sweet-tooth (and just happened to be in the area) and already had my eye on a macaron ice cream sandwich from the last time. This thing was just amazeballs! It placated my inner (and outer) fatkid in the happiest way possible! Needless to say, any time I am in this neck of the woods, I will be pit-stopping here if for nothing more than to satisfy my maple bacon bite craving. I also really dig the quirky decor and the gal behind the counter has been a sweetheart (both times were crazy busy and she handled it by herself with grace).

Naome I.

Yelp
Great donuts! My favorite is the glazed one. We got the black boba tea and needless to say... we won't be getting it again.
google avatar

Jennifer Y.

Yelp
I drove out to this place for a espresso macaron icecream sandwich. They didn't have the flavor I wanted. It was only 10:30am but they had "sold out" of this flavor. I was still optimistic and decided to grab a mint chocolate chip macaron icecream sandwich instead of the flavor I initially wanted only to find that the macaron was as dry as a bone and had HUGE holes in it. It literally started crumbling and falling apart in the car. The icecream was not very flavorful and the texture of the icecream was a bit off-putting as well. I'm not sure how it could turn out so badly and still be sold in their stores for $5. All of this aside I felt the location interior was a bit weird. The seating area is all in one hallway and the tables are all just lined up against a long straight wall. Then it leads to the back where there is one small lounging area and the restrooms. The whole place is a bit odd. It's not a donut shop, bakery, sandwich shop, or cafe. I do hope to go back for a second try but for now I need to get over the horrible macaron icecream sandwich experience.

Molly Jo M.

Yelp
THE VEGAN DONUTS ARE SO GOOD. Really well priced. Not too over-the-top sweet. Super light and fluffy. The dough is flavorful and not too oily. They're perfect really. And there are shelves of vegan options. I'm so excited to get back here! The mochi donuts are definitely very good, as they'll tell you, but have a more cake-donut texture. There are also vegan+gf options that sell out frequently. The staff is wonderful about this (and generally) though so feel free to call and ask about availability. Thank you Angel Donuts!!!
google avatar

Sharon T.

Yelp
Donuts when they're fresh get 5 stars. Perfect light crisp on the outside, flavors spot on from the traditional to the trendy. I don't recommended them as much in the afternoon, but rarely have I liked an "old" donut. Too bad they're not discounted after noon. Bubble tea gets 4 stars. Flavor is good, but it's from powder so it can't compare with freshly brewed tea from a tea shop. Also not a lot of ability to adjust sugar and ice levels like a regular bubble tea shop. There's regular and slightly less sugar, blended or iced. The bubbles are okay. Consistent throughout but the texture wasn't perfectly chewy since they don't seem to get enough traffic to be making them fresh all the time. They add sugar to the tapioca, which my kids thought was too sweet, but I know some people love (that is, my siblings who love stuff like sharetea's brown sugar tapioca). The inside gets 5 stars from me. It's clean, modern, generally not crowded. Another reviewer complained that it felt weird, which is definitely does if you enter from the door closest to 620. But if you enter from the other main door it is fine, and I like the private, coffee shop feel that the long hall lends to individual conversations instead of feeling trapped in a giant room of chairs and tables. There's a small patio area, games, and lending library of books. Not a macaroons or cakeballs fan, so I have I didn't try them here.
google avatar

Dave C.

Yelp
You've gotta try this place! Everything is so good and the staff is very friendly. It's kind of hidden in the plaza by movie house, but it's worth searching for! The donut/pastry wall is a masterpiece. Will definitely have to budget some calories for my next visit. Great WiFi too. Can't wait to go back.
google avatar

Yelp
Angel's donuts was recommended to me as 'the only donut shop worth going to.' I'm not sure if I'd go that far but it's very good! Their selection of sweets is not only good but aesthetically pleasing. The whole shop has a very rustic look inside although I think the outdoor seating could be better especially now. Their dark roast coffee went with the donuts well. super dark but not overwhelming. Overall, I'd say a good place to start the day if you're nearby or a good late morning weekend donut shop.

Yelp
I cannot day enough about this place! My now fiancé (now husband ) knew we wanted something different for our wedding. Angel donuts was the way to go! We emailed them the number and flavors we wanted, the confirmed it the next day and a week and a half later when it was time to pick up they welcomed us with a, "we were expecting you! Congratulations!" I seriously thought we had waited too long and they wouldn't be able to fulfill our order but they did it! I love this place! My wedding was the first time I had tasted these! I'm so glad that people take the opportunity to write reviews and help small businesses like these! So, here I am writing mine in case someone has doubts about the donuts or if it would work in a wedding. (We ordered about 100 donuts. Cake is not by Angel Donuts. Just FYI. ) Can you tell how much I loved that donut? Lol

Yelp
I was really disappointed with the customer service. My whole family felt uncomfortable with how we were treated. Not to mention when we were halfway done w/ our food we were asked to leave or sit outside cause there was no eating inside the cafe...but when we walked in a young lady was sitting down enjoying her coffee.

Yelp
Love it! They have several gluten free options for hipsters. Plus, the rest of their gluten-powered stuff is awesome! I would come here more often, but I recently enrolled in the Gordon Ramsay triathlon training program. I must limit my doughnut intake, due to his strict standards. He recommends going semi vegan- and almost no sugar! Anyway, my friends and I usually come here to snag what's left of the cake balls before seeing a movie at the cinema in the same plaza. Cake balls are easier to smuggle in the theater than full size doughnuts. Buyer beware, they sell out of the popular flavor gluten free doughnuts by 10 am, most mornings, due to high demand of the Steiner Ranch/ Lakeway community. Those people must really love GF! Before you leave, make sure to look for the bright teal Mazda Miata Angel Doughnut delivery mobile! It's a car dressed up to look like its eating a doughnut!

Yelp
I had a macaron ice cream sandwich here. I was excited to try it, but it was disappointing. First of all, it was overpriced at $5. Out of the several different flavors, I chose black sesame. It was served in plastic wrapping (who knows where it came from?). The macaron held together nicely, but it was overly sweet and hard for me to eat. I felt kind of sick by the time I finished. The shop is cute though, and I'd maybe come back for other types of desserts (the cake balls looked great).

Yelp
Seriously... no matter what diet I am. I will always cheat with Angel's donuts! I travel up this way from South Austin for work every blue moon and I make sure I pay a visit. The donuts and cinnamon rolls couldn't be more perfect. I have never had a better tasting donut. Voodoo is garbage in comparison. No offense Voodoo... but truth is truth. If you are around the area or heading to the lake, stop by here and see the rocking' donut magicians. Oh and the cake balls are insanely delicious and pretty too.
