A lovely family-run restaurant with a warm and cozy atmosphere. The traditional Maltese dishes were delicious — the rabbit and mahi mahi were full of flavor, and the fish and beef soups were both excellent. The wine could have been better, but overall it was a wonderful meal and great value for money.

Angela’s in Valletta is a delightful little find—cozy, welcoming, and full of character. The charm of the place really comes from Angela herself, who adds a personal touch that’s rare to find these days. You can tell she genuinely cares about every guest who walks through the door. The menu features traditional Maltese and Mediterranean dishes, and most of what we tried was fresh, flavorful, and clearly homemade. The portions were generous, and the ingredients felt thoughtfully chosen. While there were a few minor hiccups in timing or presentation, the overall experience made up for it. If you’re looking for a meal that feels home-cooked with a touch of local flair in a relaxed, down-to-earth setting, Angela’s is a great choice. It may not be fine dining, but it’s full of soul—and that’s something we really appreciated.

Amazing food in a really cozy setting. Food was very tasty. Toilet downstairs is a little tight and small, there is a narrow spiral staircase. I thought the 3 male staff (1 the chef) could have been a little more professional. I saw the chef raise his eyebrows when someone ordered the mixed seafood pasta 😬

I was there a few weeks ago with friends and it was such a treat. Once we entered the place had a very pleasant aroma. The interior was very charming and cozy. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We ordered a red snapper fish, fried rabbit in garlic and pasta with Maltese sausage. All delicious but the rabbit was top tier, just incredible. Great experience overall. If you want tasty and home cooked style Maltese dishes, do yourself a favour and make a reservation!

Not really sure why the 4.7 here compared to others in Valletta with lower ratings. Nunna bakery to name 1. This is more expensive. Smaller portions. Vegetables only tasting like smoke amd bread like in a cafeteria. What a disappointment this was. Never again. Dont waste your 26€ eating alone feeling still angry and not a Maltese touch whatsoever. Rabbit... tasteless. Genuine reviews.2 hours later all I can digest its the smoke from their veggies. Not even once asked how everything was hence why I just decided to pay and leave with my sadness of not having gone back where I knew was great and I eat well.

Lovely tiny restaurant. Excellent service. We had rabbit and Lambuki fish, the rabbit was good, but it didn't blow our minds on the same way the fish did. I strongly recommend the fish.

Tonight, we stumbled upon a true hidden gem offering authentic Maltese cuisine. From the moment we stepped in, we were charmed by its cosy, traditional atmosphere and character. Our host was incredibly attentive and friendly, making us feel instantly at home. The food was a highlight! The rabbit was rich and hearty, and the pork literally melted off the bone. Paired with a fantastic, flavourful local wine, every bite was a delight. Portions are very generous, so you definitely won't leave hungry. This is a must-visit for anyone craving delicious Maltese food in a charming setting!

Great little place accommodated my wife and I. We felt like the food was real home cooked style comfort food. Very tasty Maltese dishes. We had the Snails for entree, and for main we shared 3 dishes. The octopus , the fisherman’s pasta and the rabbit. Was delightful and friendly service too.
