Angelina Italian Bistro

The food here was really great, the service was a bit on the slow side, but overall I would highly recommend it. The pizza was good, although I wouldn't consider it to be authentic Italian pizza as they claim. And the ravioli was to die for.

First walking we had a 45min wait so the hostess took out phone number to reach us when two seats were available after 40min we went in and was immediately seated with a different hostess our server was Jason very nice! We had the salmon croquettes and calamari which tasted amazing but the portion was very small for the price. Our entree was chicken and shrimp Alfredo great portion and very fresh...great experience but kind of over priced for the amount of food i guess quality over quantity;)

The service and food was excellent. We arrived after a hockey game and although it was not busy because it was late, the staff was welcoming and polite. My husband and I shared the crispy calamari, which was probably the best I've ever had. I had the clam fettuccine and my husband had the steak. Both super yummy and piping hot! We had drinks as well that were very good. We were also lucky enough to get two glasses of champagne because it was our anniversary! Cannoli for dessert that was so good! Not one bad thing could be said and we throughly enjoyed our visit. We will definitely go again!

I had dinner at the bar. They were fast, and the dish was good. The bartender was a great dude, very friendly and helpful. He made my costume drink to perfection. I got here late, around 9 pm, so it was quiet.

The bread was sub par and tasted like 2 day old bread heated in the microwave giving a nasty texture and taste. The mushroom Mac and cheese had less than half a mushroom as thinly sliced as possible. The smoked chicken pizza was the most bland food i have had in a restaurant in years and the crust had the same crunchy yet rubbery texture as the bread. On top of it the service was awful and the pasta came out 10 minutes before the pizza. We would not recommend this place to anyone unless you happen to like throwing money away. We will never go back.

I've never had a bad meal at Angelina's! Everything is so tasty! I really enjoy their squid ink pasta. It's a upper class joint, but good on any day. If you've never had, add this one to your list.

Bar staff was excellent and the pizza was okay. Ordered a dessert that came to me cold, so it was sent back to be remade. The remake was the same one I sent back. They took the ice cream off put the same brownie I had taken 2 bites of in the microwave and sent it back with ice cream. That one thing ruined the whole experience for me. Lets me know how the kitchen is being run, and I will never go back.

It was a busy night, after a Tigers game. Had to wait, no problem, however after being seated the waitress took our drink order and the wait began. Finally ordered and the salad was served within reason. After watching patrons, who came in later, receive their entrées, and finally after tracking down our waitress, discovered our order was never entered! No apologies and even had to track her down to get our bill. I will say the food was very good and talked to one of the owners about the service, but he could have cared less! Will not go back.
