I'm definitely not a pizza connoisseur, so I'm not an authority on how this pizza ranks among New York pizza, but I loved it. You can choose between a 13" or a 17" (I had the former), and can choose toppings that go on the classic or a white pie. I had a classic with arugula and prosciutto. The crust was nice and airy, and the amount of sauce and mozzarella was perfect. The staff was super friendly too. We were there on a Thursday in November around noon, so not very buzzing, but that was kinda nice coming off of the crowded streets of Manhattan.

I recently visited Angelo's Coal Oven Pizzeria in New York City, and I have to say, it was a fantastic experience! From the moment we walked in, the warm and inviting atmosphere set the perfect tone for our meal. We ordered the cheese pepperoni pizza, and it was nothing short of spectacular. It came out fresh, hot, and absolutely delicious. The crust was perfectly crisp, with just the right amount of char from the coal oven, while the cheese was gooey and flavorful. The pepperoni added a nice touch of spice, and every bite was a testament to their commitment to quality. The service was also impressive. The staff was friendly and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed to enjoy our meal. It was clear that they take pride in their food and customer service. Overall, Angelo's Coal Oven Pizzeria is a must-visit for anyone in NYC looking for an authentic pizza experience. With their delicious food and welcoming atmosphere, it's easy to see why this place has such a great reputation. I can't wait to return for another slice!

This little Manhattan gem is a must see for anyone who loves authentic Italian cuisine! Fresh ingredients, absolutely delicious! Excellent wine selection and the service was equally as amazing as the beautiful outdoor dining area aesthetic! Just minutes from Time Square, easily accessible for anyone who might have special needs. 5 Stars across the board, add this to your Little Taste of Italy foodie travel list! Kudos to their premier culinary team and wonderful server team!

Phenomenal Pizza! The pizza crust was so flavorful crisp and perfect the sauce was tasty and the fresh basil added provided a crisp flavor. First place we stopped at our weekend visit to New York City for lunch. Service was top notch. Great atmosphere and drinks were strong and delicious!

Angelo's Coal Oven Pizzeria was just amazing. It was one of the best pizzas I've ever had. The crust was super thin and crunchy. The cheese was divine, full of flavor, but not too heavy. The red sauce was a bit sweet, a bit savory, and again, not too heavy. Just about perfection. The Pasta e Fagioli soup was again amazing, so was the PAPPARDELE ALLA BOLOGNESE. High level cuisine for a pizza joint.

The service was quick and friendly. The pizza crust is awesome here, just what I wanted crispy thin crust with chew and airy cracker bubbles. Yum! The arugula fennel salad was generous with the pine nuts and hard cheese flakes. Perfect NYC dinner.

First stop once getting checked into the hotel was to grab some quick lunch and Angelo's was right across the street...Ordered a large peperoni and sausage pizza, which came out quickly and was not what I was expecting as New York is known for thin slice pizza and my preference is thick crust and heavy toppings that I'm convinced I will not find while here in the city. Overall, the pizza served it's purpose of holding me over until dinner. The desserts definitely made up for the pizza. The waiter took our order and immediately went on break so when they returned we were cashed out and left without positive feedback on the waiter to share....🤷🏽‍♂️

Nice looking place, great staff! It's been around a long time. I think it has very good pizza and definitely worth going to. It has other food as well. I ordered their 13 inch pie and it was good enough for two people without giving me the food sweats.
