Angelo's Italian Restaurant

My daughter picked Angelo’s for her Birthday ! She had heard wonderful things and we always try to look for new places. First being welcomed and shown to our table by the owner was personal ( love that touch )! Well this Cozy Authentic Italian spot did NOT DISAPPOINT!! We were a party of five. Drinks were yummy ! Try the strawberry basil martini or the cucumber mojito!!! Ok now Apps- the Lollipop lamb chops were tender, seasoned to perfection melt in your mouth , the spicy oysters OMG , tuna tartare flavorful with a little kick and the sweet chili calamari tender! We skipped salads- Entrees- I had the Short Ribs over risotto ( I asked for peas to be added which was not a problem) first the absolute MOST TENDER short rib I’ve ever had ! ! Flavor on point! Two of the kids ordered the Lemon Linguine Alfredo- Bright and Fresh - yum! My daughter ordered the Penne Ala Spinaci - delightful and bright came with chicken ( shrimp would be amazing also) and my husband I believe ordered the Sea scallops which were tender and amazing! If you haven’t stopped in you MUST! Finding a gem like this doesn’t happen frequently! Angelo’s was wonderful ! ! ! FIVE STARS !

I went to Angelo’s for a quick small lunch. I had the Calamari, garlic bread, (which was amazing) and finished with the crème brûlée cheesecake—It was to die for! The staff was very kind and the place is cozy and small. Can’t wait to go back for dinner.

Nice spot in Huntington Village. Pretty diverse menu and nice selection of daily specials. The Lamb Chop lollipops were cooked a little too well done, but the sauce flavor made up for it. The Tai Chili calamari was super fresh, and delicious. Highly recommend the Lobster & Shrimp over fusilli pasta dish. For dessert the Napoleon was fluffy and delicious as well.

What a great find. My new favorite spot in the area. Food was great, we ordered a bunch of the specials and everything was perfect. Had the strawberry signature cocktail and that also was delicious. My wife requested a cocktail though there weren't any on the menu. The waiter made something for her without asking any questions about flavor or preferences and she loved it. Shout out to our waiter, Enrico, great energy and really made service great. Highly recommend and I will be back.

Angelo's is my favorite restaurant in Huntington Village. My wife and I come here for special occasions and they always deliver. It's a nice cozy atmosphere (though not overly loud), the food is consistently great, they always have 20+ specials on the board, and the service is impeccable - always someone to help you out. I highly recommend!!

Took a chance going last night without reservations. Was extremely lucky! Service is fantastic. The menu is extensive before getting to the extensive special board for appetizers and entrees. The food was amazing. Fresh, flavorful and presented with class. The cocktails are superb as well. This is a jewel of a place that I'm afraid to advertise although I already made my next reservation to secure my next GREAT experience.

Heard about this place and was not disappointed. The service is great. Very helpful and attentive. The stuffed pork chop is amazing. Will definitely be back.

Angelo’s is THE BEST Italian restaurant on Long Island! As much as I want to keep this place a hidden gem, I have to give credit where credit is due. When you first walk in, you are greeted by their friendly waitstaff and Angelo. The inside is intimate and cozy. If you are looking for a date night spot, this is it! As much as we loved their main menu, the star of the show was their specials. For appetizers, we ordered the lollipop lamb chops and the stuffed rigatoni in a vodka sauce. The lamb chops were SUPER flavorful and tender and came with 4 pieces, which was perfect for sharing. The pasta was made fresh and was perfectly al dente and the sauce had layered flavors. For our entrees, I got the veal chop. It was stuffed with broccoli rabe and mozzarella and it was pounded thin, coated in breadcrumbs and fried and topped off with a brown sauce with mushrooms. It was served over a bed of mashed potatoes. Simply delicious and ginormous! I was able to have leftovers for lunch. My fiancé got the stuffed pork chop, which came with mashed potatoes and vegetables. His empty plate spoke for itself! For dessert, we were surprised with a dessert board (thank you Chris!). It came with tiramisu, flan, napoleon, a chocolate cake and strawberries in a white sauce that was made fresh and poured table side. I’m drooling just thinking about it! Shoutout to Oscar and his kitchen staff for making such a delicious meal and Angelo and the waitstaff for being so attentive and accommodating. Overall, it was an amazing experience and I can’t wait to come back! Thank you Chris for the awesome recommendation!

Third time here and once again didn't disappoint. Service was excellent, Fran and the sharp gentleman sorry forgot his name were perfect. What a menu, if you can't find your dish here you shouldn't eat out! Stuffed pork chop wow, branzino excellent, pasta with lobster/shrimp very tasty, crab cakes perfect. Shared Napoleon, made uniquely very good. Can't wait to go back. Only negative is the place is small and can get very loud if there is a table partying!!

I've only ordered takeout from here but they have the best chopped salad I've ever had. I think I could eat it breakfast lunch and dinner and never be tired of it. Will be back and maybe will try other things on the menu ( because everything looks delicious ) but always will order the salad.

This restaurant is part of my normal rotation meaning it is one of a dozen restaurants I eat in at least 6 times per year and have done so since they became Angelo's, ( it was part of the rotation prior when they were Bravo Nader). Why do I return? Some may think it's to hear Franny rattle of 20 specials from memory others may think it's for the amazing napoleon dessert that's light as a feather but truthfully it's for the consistently friendly service and quality of food. This is a small restaurant and you need to call them directly to make a reservation but do so you will not be disappointed

Best Italian food in the area! There were so many great appetizers and entrees on the menu. We will definitely come back. The friendly staff made it an amazing experience. The restaurant is a bit small to definitely make reservations. They seem to have 2 times - 5 and 730 pm for dinner. Tiramisu was delicious but had a lot of cream if that's your style.

Angelo's is a good addition to Huntington. It's a very small restaurant, however, it's nicely spaced and cozy. The food is very good here. My favorites are: the fried burrata special, the smoked salmon crostini, and the stuffed rigatoni in their pink champagne sauce. I do think the prices are a bit too high given the restaurant itself (it's not the fanciest or prettiest restaurant inside). Regardless, I'd recommend Angelo's.

We had an absolutely incredible meal at Angelo's last night! The staff was so sweet and friendly, the vibe was warm and inviting, like a big family. The service was amazing, quick response- so professional. the food was soooo good, I cannot stop thinking about it. Will continue to recommend this place and we will be back again soon. I can only hope it's as good as it was last night, every time we come! Thanks Angelos!

Love this cozy place. They are so friendly and accommodating. Skip the cocktails, pay the corkage fee and bring a great bottle of wine. Enjoy some great food, service and friendly staff. What more can you ask for?

Wow. This was definitely perfection at it's best. Angelo's replaced by Bravo Nader. The restaurant is totally redone inside with a light modern look & they also have outdoor dining as well. Wine & Cocktails were amazing. We had a few appetizers which were all delicious. Caesar Salad was perfect with fresh cheese. The Crab cake was outstanding! The dinner we had Veal Chop which he loved. I had the sole franchise which were amazingly fresh. My husband had the Salmon which he enjoyed. The special Monkfish tonight was delicious as well. Definitely would recommend the homemade Napoleon which is light & creamy goodness. I would highly recommended Angelo's for fresh & delicious quality food.

Fantastic. From service to food it is now one of my favorite places to dine with friends or fiancé in Huntington. We were greeted with a smile and positive attitude. Felt like I was eating at a friends house on the positive vibes from the employees. The menu option was just enough and the quality of meals were outstanding. I look forward coming back very soon. Wish I could have taken out the time to snap more pics but the food smelled so good our party couldn't wait. Tip. Enjoy and order as if you were in a tapas and for Dinner entree they are willing to separate a plate into 2. Definitely try the pistachio ice-cream.

Wanted to take my fiancé for a special dinner at a cozy ,small and intimate place ... made reservations and was greeted and put at a beautiful corner table... they made us feel at home... we had the calamari appetizer it was good wish it was crispier but very tender with a nice tomato sauce on the side ... my fiancé had the stuffed bronzino and loved it ... I had the chicken stuffed with prosciutto and cheese it was very good. Both were served with mashed potatoes and fresh vegetables... the service was amazing... very friendly and attentive... we will be back soon.....

Went to Angelo's for the first time. It's a quaint gem in Huntington village. The food was excellent, the service was impeccable. You definitely should make a reservation as it fills up quickly.

We went last night to celebrate a graduation. What a cute little place. From the moment we sat down every staff member was checking to make sure we were ok. We ordered apps scungilli fradiavlo DELISH! We also ordered the special Thai fried calamari also DELISH! We were a party of 8 not one person was disappointed From the drinks to the homemade desserts and yummy HOT cappuccinos. You won't be disappointed!!!

I just don't understand the hype I really don't! I really don't trust reviews in Long Island . 5 stars I expected 5 stars ... Well I give it a solid 3 Stars. The spot is small w/ limited amount of tables inside & there is another even smaller area for outdoor seating. On Friday & Saturday nights make sure to call for a reservation. The Food was good, but it was nothing special, especially for the prices. The cocktails were horrible! Please take the time to hire a proper bartender!

Was there last night with family and ordered the Veal Chop Valdostano. OUTSTANDING!! Absolutely loved it To top the meal off, homemade napoleon with a double espresso. Everyone loved their meals. Service was once again above and beyond! We will be back very soon! Thank you Angelo's Italian Restaurant!!!!!

This has become my favorite Italian restaurant ! Small and cozy ! Staff is beyond amazing especially Enrique who I've know since I was a child ! Love this place every dish I've had so far is beyond amazing ! Love going her with my parents or on double dates ! Always a good time

This is like a best-kept secret. I tried Angelo's a few months ago, and was very pleasantly surprised. The staff was excellent, as was the service, and the food was great. It's a relatively small place. Bravo Nader was in this location previously, but they jammed their tables in. I've been back twice, and now planning on another visit this week. I just wish they were open on Sunday!

Went to Angelo's for the first time. We were celebrating a few of our milestone birthday's so had 9 of us at the table. We had Calamari, Tuna Tartare, Oysters, and crab cakes for appetizers. They were all really good. For dinner many of us had the pork osso bucco. It was fall off the bone delicious. Some members of our party had Stuffed Cod, some Veal dishes, as well. Everyone loved the food. No one had a single complaint. For dessert we had Tiramisu, Napoleons, cheesecake which were all amazing. I cannot wait to go back.

Intimate setting, over the top service, and the food was amazing. Of the many appetizer specials, we had the tuna tartare which came as a very generous portion and the fried burrata. For dinner, I had the stuffed pork chop and my wife had the braised short ribs, both of which were delicious. We'll definitely be back!

Service and quality of food earns it 5 stars in a competitive Huntington. Octopus appetizer was perfectly cooked. Duck and halibut dishes both wonderful portions and delicious sauces.

I can't begin to describe how absolutely delicious the food is here. The goat cheese stuffed figs , the short ribs, steak and pasta were amazing. The service was impeccable and the wait staff were well versed in the many specials of the day. The small restaurant is quaint and sophisticated. We were there on a Thursday night and the place filled up quickly. I assume word has gotten out about the quality of the food here. I don't live in NY anymore but will absolutely be going back next time I'm in town.

Really 4 1/2 stars. Went for a early diner and wasn't disappointed. Prices are reasonable and service very nice. Too many "specials" and clam sauce over linguine was only okay. Fresh fish excellent. Worth a visit.

Best halibut we've had. It rivals the Maine halibut at the Burning Tree on Mt. Desert Island we ate many years ago. The calamari was tender, house Chardonnay was very good, beet salad was excellent as was the homemade Napolian for dessert. But the consistent star of this meal is the halibut. It's always cooked perfectly and has wonderful flavor. You pay for the privilege of this memorable fine dining experience with ample attentive wait staff and it is money well spent. Since there are only a handful of tables be sure to make a reservation. Magnifico.

i cant say enough positive things about this restaurant. it's a small spot tucked away on the side streets of Huntington Village and the ambiance inside is super cozy and comfortable. our waiter was very passionate about the menu and explaining all of the love that goes into their specials and entrees, and he was spot on. it was beyond delicious. from the wine, to the appetizers, to the entrees and dessert, we had zero complaints, only wishing there was more once we finished a plate. there were so many good items on the menu to choose from, we had trouble deciding and can't wait to go back to try more. it's definitely a gem that is overlooked in the sea of eateries in Huntington Village and should definitely be checked out. you will not be disappointed. we dined on a snowy weeknight, and even then it had a good amount of people inside so i'd recommend a reservation for weekends.

Superb in every manner. Among the best dining experiences I've ever had on each occasion I've had the pleasure to dine here. There is literally not a single instance while dining here whether as a couple on my first occasion or with a group of 8 most recently. Quality is second to none with each course from appetizers through desert there's these OMG instances where your thinking "this is bonkers, why is it so hard to find this level of deliciousness anywhere else. The staff is extraordinary, sincerely they love what their doing & who their doing it for. The wait staff is different level outstanding. JT our server and his support staff are a dream in how efficient and yet effortlessly they provide, imparting knowledge, skill, warmth and charm. Very clever how this team makes you feel as if there's no one else their committed to serving. It's an art that no matter how busy this restaurant is you feel you have the place to yourself. JT makes a point to go through the menu describing the preparation, ingredients, to each dish starting with the specials for both appetizers & main course entrees, and after dinner this attention to detail is continued with desert. The food is delicious as it is beautiful when served. I won't describe the menu but it's exciting as it is fresh and honestly it's been years since I've come across anything like it. Chef Oscar is a Star and Angelo the owner has himself a dream team. In an era where mediocrity is rewarded I find it hard to believe this restaurant hasn't yet received Michelin honors & recognition.

Fantastic little find in Huntington, that truly impressed us on many levels. The place is small, like only 12 tables, so a reservation is a good idea for a weekend. But you instantly feel like you're at a family run place where the servers are friendly and warm. My friend and I immediately felt at home. Cocktails were first! We tried the Strawberry Basil martini, which led us to a second round of drinks. Then we opted for a few appetizers that were on the specials and were pretty much sold after trying the avocado crab tower. If you see that on the specials list when you walk in, I urge you to try it if you love fresh, flavorful dishes. Soooo good! We also had the calamari which was delicious. My friend tried a Branzino fish that was on the specials and adored each bite, while I stayed classic with the Lasagna. You could tell immediately that it was homemade. We took out an order of the Pappardelle bolognese with burrata cheese for my mom, which I was able to try from home. Also a great choice! Have nothing but love to share for Angelo's. Another wonderful dining experience, that I'll be sure to share with my friends.

It's been a while since I've taken the time to write a review. But during these times I feel it is necessary to support our businesses. We went into this restaurant because we used to visit it under the previous owners, and were so pleasantly surprised buy the new decor and the Happy owner and staff. They were so accommodating even with a little one. We had delicious wine. And started with the spicy oysters, which I regret sharing. I had the salmon As my main, and it was some of the best salmon I have had in a restaurant as long as I can remember. Not only was the fish fresh the seasonings were perfect. My mom had the shrimp risotto, and said her shrimp Were as rich as little lobsters. The Napoleon and tiramisu we're homemade, and worth the calories! Just a sidenote I had my one and a half-year-old with us who they accommodated, and whipped up a small pasta dish she loved. I highly recommend this restaurant!

there is no reason why they don't deserve a full five stars -what a wonderful meal -exemplary service -nice atmosphere. I just don't do five stars after the first visit. But I am very impressed and look forward to my next visit. grilled octopus appetizer was one of the best I've had in the states. went with Angelos recommended pork chop which was the best I've ever had so tender and flavorful. cocktails were excellent so nice to get a creative made and solid old-fashioned with one monster ice cube. fresh basil strawberry martini was perfect as was the lasagna. i'm already thinking about what I want on my next visit. don't forget dessert as most of them are homemade and excellent!

An amazing early Valentine Lunch . Perfect food and impeccable service. Short ribs were done to perfection an fresh pasta. The place is fresh and new. A welcome addition to great Huntington Restaurants.

Great service can make mediocre food taste better...great food can make mediocre service more tolerable. No need to worry about either at this restaurant, the service was outstanding and the food just as good. This is a small restaurant so I would encourage reservations just to ensure you are able to be seated, we arrived on time and were seated immediately but the restaurant did fill up quickly while we dined. We as recommended a visit to Angelo's, if your experience is anything like ours, part of your dinner conversation will include making plans to return.

Ok..... I'm trying to be objective here. Angelo's is a good restaurant. Very good in fact. But, it's simply not in line with the prices. The waiters are well rehearsed in reciting menu offerings and making them sound high end. That's nice. Still, for me, it was not up to snuff overall. Too much pomp and not enough magic on my plate. Whenever I try a new restaurant I always ask myself if I would return. If I couldn't get a reservation elsewhere I might. Good?...yes. Great?....no.

Good food good service, very loud and obnoxious crowd we have been a few times and enjoyed the meal but the crowd is loud, rude and clueless. Management doesn't nothing to control it. For $250 for dinner and drinks for 2. Really not worth the aggravation. Go elsewhere if you actually want to have a conversation. Won't be returning

The food was amazing. Fresh, well-seasoned. I could not have asked for better. The service was top-notch and very prompt. It's a small space, but every table was filled. I can see why. Highly recommend.

Home away from hime kind of Place. Not exactly Italian food but many Italian choices . Stick to the specials it's what they do best

If u want a taste of Italy, this is the place. They treat you like family. Bring a big appetite because the food is amazing. The staff is amazing and they treat you like a king. A must if your in the area.

Ooh the Orechiette lunch special was soo good! Full of garlic and delicious sausage- exactly right. Service was good, the only thing I didn't like was that when I walked in, the blond employee did not have her mask on. She put it on right away, but it did put me off. Other than that, I will definitely be back!

we had the pleasure of dining at Angelo's on Union Pl in Huntington. The food was truly excellent and the service was totally professional. What a great experience!!...Looking forward to dining at Angelo's again very soon.

i've been to a lot of fine dining restaurants all over usa and in europe. we happened upon angelos recently and experienced a superb and cosy restaurant with an amazing menu, wine list and impeccable service. truly exceptional. so good we returned a week later. i am not a new yorker and was visiting my daughter. i would recommend angelos to anyone desiring an exceptional milanese style dinner and attentive but not overbearing service. just lovely place. bravo!
