I went to buy the rosca pizza based on the good reviews and the quality i saw on social media. It was like night and day. Pizza did not look appetizing and it was also not good. The dough was hard, barely had sauce and cheese and dough looked like it didn’t rise. The 2 stars is for service, seemed busy and girl helping me was trying to make sure I didn’t wait too long. Half of it is going in the garbage. We just took out the plastic babies

Hands down one of the best delivery drivers that I’ve encountered. My pizza was still intact when received and still felt fresh out the oven. The young man was well mannered and deserves recognition.

Pre ordered the rosca de reyes pizza and was disappointed with the deflated cold and seran wrapped pizza I received and even worse, RAW unfortunately we had to throw away. You don’t get what was advertised. Do better !

First time here, it was a good restaurant nice little set up. We got an order of fries which were super delicious & crispy. Also got a order of buffalo wings, for my liking the wing sauce wasn’t your typical buffalo sauce had a different flavor to it. The wings were okay, I feel they could’ve been better. We got a thin crust pizza and honestly I should’ve got a deep dish cause as it says on the restaurant name Angelos STUFFED PIZZA I feel that’s what they’re most known for. The thin crust wasn’t to my liking either, had no type of sauce at all, the cheese is very thin and even then the cheese was very bland it didn’t have no flavor. But I would like to give it second try n get the stuffed pizza next time, overall the food I give it a 3.5/5 ⭐️

I had the pleasure of spending a Friday afternoon at Angelo's Stuffed Pizza. I have been here before, about two years ago. When they first introduced their birria heart shaped pizza. The pizza was amazing, but I only had the opportunity of eating one slice from how full I was. This time around, I wanted to try more things. To start, my friend and I tried the teriyaki and buffalo wings. I really enjoyed their buffalo sauce; it is house-made and tastes more on the spicier and buttery side as opposed to the vinegary and salty taste of other buffalo sauces. I wasn't much of a fan of their teriyaki wings. Sort of reminded me of soy garlic but sweeter. Both of these wings paired well with the other of fries we got. I think they were beer-battered fries, fried perfectly. For our next course, we got the chicken carbonara. I was blown away with how good this pasta was. I typically shy away from carbonara because most of the time it is bland, but this pasta was well seasoned. From the sauce to the juicy, flavorful chicken. I was impressed, better than most of the Italian spots downtown. To end our dinner, we had the opportunity to try the pizza of the month: chicken alfredo with fresh basil. I didn't realize they were growing basil in the front of the restaurant so when the chef came out to pick some to put on our pizza, I knew I was in for a treat. The pizza was amazing, cooked to the perfect temp, not drying out the chicken or the basil. You could tell they perfected this recipe before putting it on the menu. The chicken was the same chicken used in the carbonara so the seasonings really complemented the alfredo base. Our second pizza was a 6 inch personal deep dish. I really wanted to try their deep dish again to remind myself how good their marinara sauce is. It is sweet yet savory. Quite the contrast to other deep dish marinara sauce in the city. I enjoyed it! And for only $10 during their lunch hours, I was impressed. Other spots in the city charge almost $15 for a personal pan. Overall, I enjoyed Angelo's a lot! I spoke with the owner after our meal and he was a very nice guy! You could tell he has a lot of passion for food and pizza, and it shows. I would recommend Angelo's to anyone in the Southwest area of Chicago. I promise it is worth the trip!

Was visiting Chicago, and wanted more than deep dish pizza. Because I know the best Italian and the best NY pizza varieties, I was in search of a piled high option. The crust is perfect. . . pastry like. Not bready in the deep dish sense. The ingredients are first class farm fresh, flavorful, intensely tasty. Because of no liquor license, the BYOB makes Angelo’s a win/win high value low cost meal. The open air front side contributes to the stuff that great memories are made of.

This was our first time visiting Chicago and I am so thankful that Angelos was the first place that we stopped at. The owner is a Chicago native and he loves his hometown. With that, he also loves his pizza and he does it right. He doesn't put too much crust on a deep dish. This way, you can enjoy every flavor of the meat, sauce, cheese and seasoning. And to top it off you don't have to go to two different places to find good wings or good pizza because at Angelo's they are both top-notch. This is a must try if you're coming to chicago. Bring the family. Bring the friends. This place is worth it. Thank you for having such a huge impact on our first time to Chicago. We appreciate you very much.

This place is great! The deep dish pizza was excellent, our waitress Daniella was lovely and the mural on the ceiling is freaking hysterical!

If I have the luxury to dine in during non traffic hours, I will.. The menu is extensive and they don't disappoint. The atmosphere is easy going and the decor will keep you captivated while you wait for your order. The music varies. Yet is low enough not to have to shout over. Making it that more of an enjoyable dining experience. This was the double bacon something, or other without the bacon. Angelo's has thee best burgers and the best pizza in the city hands down. Fresh ingredients, freshly made, and just beyond words. They have all of my guilty pleasures, so they won't be seeing me too frequently. Just know that I love you guys, and greatly appreciate your hospitality and quality of food.. I'll be seeing you.. Came with an appetite and left with a new favorite dine-in spot. Definitely an underrated place! If you're hungry for something whether it's a burger, pasta, pizza, wings, etc.. this place has it all. I'm for sure returning more often! 10/10 service, food, and atmosphere. The decorations during the festive fall season are cute too!

Went in during my lunch for a lunch special. I got a pepperoni slice with fries and a drink. The cashier was rude and the pizza looked and tasted like it was last night's left over cheese that they put back into the oven with a few pepperoni slices on top. The best thing about the meal was the fries. Those were amazing.

Better than the chains for stuffed pizza. I would recommend out of towners to try this place instead of the typical chains although not a lot of tourists would come to the south side.

GREAT Stuffed 'ZA!!! First time ordering from Angelo's and it did not disappoint. Got the stuffed Angelo (sausage, mushroom, onion, bell pepper). Crust was perfect and so was the sauce. Cheese was nice and oooey-gooey :-) Was quoted about an hour and a half for delivery and arrived in a little over an hour. Both the person taking the order on the phone and the delivery driver were courteous and in good spirits. Have some leftovers and looking forward to them being as delicious as our meal.

The friendliest staff in Chicago. The food is great and the namesake stuffed pizza is amazing, but the tavern style and Sandos are also really great. The restaurant is cool and casual with a ceiling mural, photo backdrop and garage door that opens in summer and spring

Astounding is the word I'm choosing for my experience of the food I had in this place. Angelo's Stuffed Pizza located in the southwest side of Chicago, Archer Heights. Once you enter the lovely restaurant is full of surprise and wonders, from the decor of the vine walls covered in lights and the noticeable yellow neon sign in the back that reads Slice Slice Baby to a recreation of the famous painting The Creation of Adam with a pizza twist. This place is full of charm. Ive been seeing this restaurant every time i drive around the neighborhood and i have always wonder how the food will taste and today was the day to try this place. Upon arrival the hostess greeted me with a smile and so much joy that made me feel welcome. I order the a Bella Stuffed pizza, its comes with Sausage, Mushroom, Onion, Bell Pepper, Pepperoni, Ham, Baby Spinach, and Jalapeño. it took around 45 minutes for my order to be finish but the wait was so worth it. I grabbed a slice and the cheese pull was mouthwatering, so much beauty for my eyes to take.The taste was delicious the sweet sauce of the pizza with the spiciness of the jalapeños complimented each other like a perfect dance and my mouth was the dance floor. Perfection, I would definitely recommend this place to everyone.

The stuffed pizza was definitely the star for me however I was a big fan of the wings as well! The restaurant goes all out with holidays and has a lot of great instagram worthy spots! The service is super friendly and they make food to order so it's always piping hot!

Wish I would of read reviews before stopping in here tonight. Pizza here is definitely not Italian good, maybe their recipe is Mexican or another Latino origin and to my preference lacks flavor. They promote their stuffed and that was the worst one because everything inside the pizza was cold and raw dough! Ordered calamari , med thin crust and small stuffed paid $72 and had to go home and cook so we can have decent lunch tomorrow! So upset but it is the first and last time they receive a penny from me! Would give 0 stars if I could!

I ordered some chicken tenders for my Girlfriend and I and I paid $12 for each of them to get 4 tiny pieces of cold chicken the size of nuggets and some were even smaller. Worst tenders I have ever had.

We had a relaxing evening enjoying delicious food from Angelo's we got the deep dish heart pizza and a thin crust and they were both delicious and cheesy. Also their buffalo wings was the best I've had in a long time. We will definitely make the drive from Oswego to get pizza and wings again. Also we felt like we were in Valentine's Day heaven, their valentine props were perfectly set up which made my friend's 6 year old very excited.

Good stuff. Came here one day with my wife when they just opened. Been seeing so much of it on instagram we just had to try it. Boy were we right to do so. The stuffed pizza was amazing. We got the January '24 monthly special with the hot honey. It was very good. Not as spicy as we thought it was going to be but very tasty nonetheless. Will be going back to get their feb special. Oh, the person who took care of us (possibly the owner) was just as awesome as the pizza was. Very attentive and made sure if there was anything we needed, he got it for us. Check this place out if you are in the area. You won't be disappointed if you love stuffed pizza.

I recently went out to archer Heights and tried Angelo's Stuffed pizza. I was expecting good pizza, but I found much, much more. First, the pizza is amazing. Of course I got deep dish pizza, and of course I ordered pepperoni pizza. The pizza was great. The sauce was good and had a slight sweetness to it. The cheese was very gooey and made for an nice cheese pull. Next, the onion rings were very good. They were bread heavily and had a very good crunch to them. I also ordered the Porky's Double Patties Burger. It's basically and double bacon cheeseburger. The patties were thick and juicy. I was told by the staff that the parties were made in-house and you could taste the difference. The interior was very cool. Their ceiling was painted a light blue and with murals. This place is worth a drive out to Archer Heights.

Small local pizza shop that has been here for 30 years...and I can see why. A unique open air style joint with the best service in town. Painted ceilings with a pizza theme, and a Insta worthy wall for the younger gens. Friendly service with a smile. First experience with Chicago style stuffed pizza, and I was not disappointed! We had to stand on a chair to get the 'cheese pull' to break...highly recommend! Ordered a medium and it was def enough to feed a family of 4 (with cheese breadsticks and calamari as appetizers)! A must visit if you are visiting!

Food was outstanding and the service Was phenomenal, very personable. Stuffed pizza, make sure you enter the cheese pulling contest!! I was able to reach the ceiling! Lol will be coming back.

Great service but sadly not great food. Said they had chicken tenders at the Michi Festival. The "tenders" were the size of nuggets and only gave us FOUR. The food was cold and barbecue was bad. Really disappointed. 12$ for only four small pieces.

Not only did they forget to put my mozzarella sticks in the bag but they sent the driver back to bring back this mess. I gave this place a shot but I'm highly disappointed.

DELICIOUS PIZZA!! As a Chicago native, this is definitely on my top 3 list in Chicago for deep dish/stuffed pizza. We ordered a medium stuffed pizza with pepperoni, sausage, and giardiniera. It was more than enough for the two of us, and now we have left overs. Super

Had to make a last minute reservation for my birthday party. Angelo's went above and beyond to accommodate me and my party of 16 literally 2 days before my event. The manager and server Isaiah were extremely helpful and had the best costumer service during our time there. The food was amazing and it felt like we were at home. Loved that it was BYOB! Would definitely celebrating more birthdays here!

Have you tried the buffalo chicken wrap!? If you haven't you missing out of life. It's my absolute favorite! It is fire and a must try.

36 minutes for a buffalo chicken salad? My husband and I came in here for a salad. Waiting 36 minutes for a salad is absurd, they weren't even busy at all. The staff was being so rude when I was asking for my refund too. Like the salad components are already cooked! The thing that got me the most angry was that they were in the back just laughing and having a good ol time when i clearly was still waiting for my salad. Not cool.

Had the worst experience with the cashiers. The young lady and man at the register were not polite. When trying to order and asked for suggestions such as what's your popular dish they just referred me to the menu. As delicious as the food looked, I could not order knowing they had bad service and possibly poor food handling.

I came here for the stuffed birria pizza (the goat) & it did not disappoint. The goat meat was super flavorful and tender. The pizza crust was a perfect mix of crisp on the outside to support all of the fillings. The price was more than I expected, the medium stuffed birria pizza was $40. Definitely a once in a while treat.

I had heard good reviews about this place so I figured to give it a shot someday. I was looking to surprise my girlfriend at the time with a heart shaped pizza. However, since it was not Valentine's Day almost no one offers to do a pizza like that. I was calling many places until I reached out to Angelos and they were the only ones to say they could do it. They had the pizza right on time when I asked them have it ready for. 5 Star service. It was a carry out order. As for the taste, this pizza is also great! Although not my favorite crust, we all enjoyed the stuffed pizza. It certainly has great taste. If you are in town and looking for some stuffed pizza, can't go wrong with Angelos.

Was my last day before leaving Chicago and I stopped by this place ... when I tell you this pizza had me looking up at the ceiling thanking god for letting me experience it. And I had a real beautiful ceiling to look at, it's a beautiful space overall. Great service too, Isaiah was very helpful and attentive. Next time I visit I will definitely be eating here again!

My friend told me about this place, so I decided to check it out. I got 2 cheeseburgers with 2 cups of cheese. Came out to $35. The only flavor I got from the burger was ketchup and mustard. Beside that, it was bland. The cheese we got was spicy, which I'm not a big fan of, it would of been nice if they would of told me. Doubt I'll ever go back.

The deep-dish pizza is next-level cheese game strong with a tangy sauce. Pairs really well with a jarritos. With out a doubt I'll be back for more!

I heard about this from someone, 100% correct. Some of the best pizza I've had in a long time. I got sausage, bacon, pepperoni. Simply amazing!! I suggest try the deep dish also.

Purchased a cesar salad, veggie and a cheese pizza, both pizzas lacked flavor. I mean BLAND central. Have you ever heard of seasoning before? My Cesar salad was drenched in dressing that was suppose to come on the side, and the chicken was hot making it all very soggy (not a crunch to be found). When I called about the salad (because I was gonna just chalk up the pizza as a loss) I was met with very rude and unprofessional customer service! While they did write my name down to receive a credit, I will not be going back, because I don't trust the service or the food. They can keep the credit, it's not even worth my time. Stick with Palermos, Giordanos or even Falcos. This place is a HARD NO for me, I won't be back, and I don't recommend you go as well!

Dined here in a weekend and the set up was great. Kids got a kick out of the St. Patrick's decor. They really did make a great effort. It's our first time trying their pizza. Their appetizers were flavorful. Ordered calamari, chicken wings, and jalapeño poppers, but their stuffed pizza needs improvement. My husband and I ordered half mushrooms, onions, peppers and sausage, and half sausage and pepperoni. They had the basics down pat (cheese, dough, sauce) but they skimped on the sausage. All I could taste are onions in my husband's half, and pepperoni in my half.

As a loyal customer of Angelos Pizza I was very disappointed at the service, food, and over all lack of customer service. My wife and I ordered pizza on Sunday evening and we both got extremely sick, vomiting, headache, and body chills and aches. We both had not eaten anything out of the ordinary and were not sick after any of our regular meals. after we ate the pizza about 2 hours later we got to sick to where we both called off of work and were suffering through the whole night. I called the next day hoping to get an answer as to why, but instead was greeted with no accountability, lack of explanation, no reimbursement, but a 50% discount on my next purchase. why a coupon was given to me after we fell ill is beyond me as it should imply I would no longer be ordering from there. As I proceeded to ask to speak to the owner I was told by the manager "Joe Jones" that there was no owner and they were a corporation(not sure if this true) and said there was no one else I could speak to. I was so disappointed as my family and I have always supported there business and all this situation has shown is their lack of respect and well being of their customers. I am all about supporting local business hence why I chose to order from them. I would advise not to order from this restaurant. Pizza was undercooked, stale, or flat out old and reheated with dry grease. if you look at the most recent reviews this a reoccurring issue and the quality of the food has gone down. So disgusted with this restaurant.

My first four star review... the server attending me was great, helpful and attentive. This is a new pizza place that opened near my home and decided to give it a shot. I ordered a chicken sandwich, nothing too special, seemed like something you'd expect to receive at a baseball game. The owners were sitting at a table behind me and weren't exactly having an appropriate conversation while customers were still in the restaurant. The restaurant was clean and well kept. I'll return again in the future to see how they adjust to the locals.

Pizza was delivered 2 hours late with no notice. It's honestly overpriced and I suggest ordering from the Domino's down the block instead.

Writing this under direst, Adrian forced me at gunpoint. Just kidding, he held a knife or could had been a spoon or even his finger. Either way, it was life-threatening to be served high quality ingredients, chi-town stuffed pizza. Literally ate pizza in 49 states, this place is kick glass, totally shatter proof. They know pizza, been doing it for 30 years.

Loved Joe's service, very attentive/kind with his costumers. Always made sure we were good! Will for sure come back and recommend this place!

I knew it was great the moment I walked in. The design of the inside is incredible, it gives off a positive and warming feeling. The server was incredibly kind and when things weren't busy for him he would chat with the customers and be extremely friendly. And they knocked the food out of the ballpark. It was some of the best deep dish pizza I've had. I will definitely be going here in the future!

1 star on delivery and tonight's experience. Ordered delivery for my family. A piece of the order was wrong - cheese ravioli vs meat ravioli. Called back to let them know and they confirmed the receipt stated cheese ravioli. So, they stated they would bring one over. It was 50 minutes later.....and I called back. Driver arrived at 56 minutes since they said they would bring one over. Needless To say I was looking forward to a great family dinner. It wasn't the case. I live 3 min away - someone could have driven that to me. Don't order delivery.

Was around the area killing time before my flight- decided to check out Angelo's. BEST DECISION EVER?!?! Isaiah creates a comfortable space to dine! Will be back! ^_^

Second time ordering from Angelos! I Order a medium sausage Pizza for me and the wifey for lunch and it was really good. Second time I order citrus chipotle Chicken wings and they were fire. I recommend this place. I use to travel for work and tasted so many places and I'll add this one to my go to place too!
