Incredible cocktails, crafted with care and artistry, in a cozy, warm, sexy environment. Perfect for a date or friendly catch up. Make sure to try and many as you can, you will rarely taste drinks that good.

Very good. I probably preferred the service and drinks just slightly more at the old location, but this is still one of the best bars in NYC. Drinks are stiff, interesting, and unique. Service very good, but I miss when their staff was exclusively Japanese; it added something to the service that's hard to find in the USA. The new location is very nice and thoughtfully designed, but a bit hard to find: go into the restaurant/bar in the hotel lobby, go up the stairs, and it's a door a bit down the hallway on the left.

Small (10-15 tables iirc) speakeasy located at the back of the restaurant in hotel Eventi.

Unreasonably strict max 4 policy. Wouldn’t allow party of 5 to go in as complete separate parties. Host had an attitude as well, which is what prompted the negative review. Good drinks & vibe though. Just be aware of the strict policy and you’ll be fine.

Rather small but cute speakeasy which had fantastic cocktails. Super attentive waiters as well.

Creative cocktail with a Japanese cuisine twist.

U mna bude vždy Angel share na prvom mieste či to bol starý alebo nový. Sofistikova Japonska pohostinnosť, skills. Budete tu dalších 30rokov ! Každá jedna návšteva my pripomína ceremóniu dokonalú symfóniu barmanou, pri ktorej mi idu slzy do oči. Dokázal by som tu sedieť cely večer. Jedine čo my chyba je sedenie na bare.

Had the best whiskey sour in my life here!! My personal favorite is the Tough Cookies - Bourbon, Port Wine, Lime Juice and Guava. Never thought it's possible to make guava shine so much in a drink without sacrificing the multiple layers of tastes of other ingredients. Just love it sooo much. My first round ordered the Dazzle Razzle - it has so numerous layers on your tongue. You can feel the difference ingredients one by one, including green apple, kiwi, you name it. Pina Colada is also impressive - while it is so common everywhere to see such a classic sweet drink, the Blacktail version is truly an above average level. It has more coconut in it, which gives the drink a note of the roasted coconut flakes. It's very charming. The service is also quite good! We actually arrived ~45 minutes earlier than our reservation (dinner finished quicker than expected) but we were accommodated immediately. Really appreciate it.

From the moment you enter Back Bar you are in vibes paradise. The interior is stunning & chic and the energy is the most welcoming & chill. Shoutout to Will, Liam, & Ash and their outstanding service. These three are master bartenders and will serve you up the best cocktail you've ever had from their carefully curated menu of specialty drinks. **Seriously, the best cocktails you will ever have** For anyone looking for a truly epic spot to bring your friends/family/partner--Back Bar is it!!!
