Angermeyer Waterfront Inn

We came here for our honeymoon and LOVED this location, staff, food, and accommodations. We came in the low season and only a quarter of the rooms were being used, so the inn was SO peaceful. We did a package with the hotel where room, activities for 4 days, transportation to said activities, and food (all meals, not just some) were covered. This was amazing and worked so well. The staff always gave us updates when needed and we appreciated it so much. I recommend this place to everyone I know and would come back in a heartbeat!

We stayed in the Trade Winds room for 3 nights and loved every minute of our stay. Beautiful rooms and grounds, great food, and service. I highly recommend it! They also allowed us a later check out, and staff were very attentive to our needs. Thank you, we will be back!

Our stay at Angermeyer Waterfront Inn has been one of my all-time favorite vacation stays! It was magical, relaxing, beautifully set, and with a staff that was attentive to every detail. Our room was beautiful and with a view, and very comfortable. The staff was friendly, attentive and grew to be friends over our stay. They went above and beyond to help us secure water taxis, coordinate with our tour companies and (most importantly for me) were very thoughtful and attentive to my dietary restrictions.||This is a uniquely situated hotel experience as well- it’s a nice separated space from the main street and bustle of Puerto Ayora, and walking distance from local beaches and overall a quieter and comfortable experience.||I highly recommend staying here- this is a beautiful way to experience the Galápagos Islands. Don’t miss out!!

Wonderful and very helpful staff. Good communication prior to our trip, with help on getting to the Galapgos and to the hotel once we arrived in Galapagos. Comfortable beds and great views. Very quiet except for the morning birds! Walkable to a nice beach and easy water taxi to town. Hope to make it back again soon!

This place was insanely nice. It must be the nicest accommodation near Santa Cruz. The people who work here are so kind and helpful. I loved talking to Rebecca. ||Right in front of the hotel there are lights that attract sharks, rays, sea lions, and fish, so you can sit at the restaurant with a drink or meal and watch wildlife right in front of you without leaving the hotel! The only meal I had here was breakfast, but it was lovely.||The oceanview room was beautiful. ||You have to take a $1 water taxi to come and go from the hotel. The taxi ride to town is only a few minutes. It was super easy, and the longest wait we had was a couple minutes for the taxi to show up. The only thing I wish I knew is that it's hard to get small bills for the taxi. I would recommend bringing lots of ones with you so you don't have to ask the hotel to break larger bills every day. ||I would absolutely come back here!

A lovely and quaint hotel, right on the water in Puerto Arroyo. The staff was very attentive. Enio, in particular, is a wonderful ambassador for the hotel. He went above and beyond for us. |Rebecca helped us schedule a private bus for the eight of us to go sightseeing in the highlands. |They provide a very large complementary breakfast, which is very good. We ate at the restaurant for dinner and enjoyed it very much, as well.|The rooms are very clean. I definitely recommend it.

Exquisite. Incredible location right on the water. Animals came right up to the hotel – Marine lizards , pelicans, finches. Staff could not have been more accommodating or friendly. Rooms were beautiful : absolutely clean , that very comfortable with lovely duvet, bathroom modern, incredible balcony. I would say it is charming, but that makes it seem like it’s not luxury and it absolutely is.

Incredible food. I loved breakfast every day! We sat overlooking the water watching fish, sharks, sea lions, sea birds, and red crabs. Incredible view of Puerto Ayoro & it's a quick $1 taxi from the private dock so we hung out in Puerto Ayoro every night for a bit. The bartenders were wonderful! I am impressed by their organic and gluten free options. They were extremely helpful and accommodating! I'm hoping to return! The room (Tropic Bird) had an incredible view of the bay. The accommodations (bed, shower, porch, closet, safe, etc.) were perfect. My favorite hotel room ever! Thank you for everything!
