The 12 Best Affordable Restaurants in Phoenix, Arizona | Eater Phoenix

"Everything about Angie’s Lobster sounds like a scam. Drive-thru seafood? In the desert? For under $10? And yet, somehow, this place delivers. The chilled Maine lobster roll comes stacked with more meat than anyone would expect at this price, and the fried lobster tail sandwich is crunchy, buttery, and satisfying. There’s also a scallop roll, all served on toasted buns with house sauces. Meals stay under $12, and while it might not be the best lobster roll ever, it’s better than plenty that cost three times as much. The secret is a vertically integrated supply chain with lobster sourced straight from a Maine wharf — but honestly, that part barely matters. What matters is that it tastes good and still feels accessible for easy summertime meals that won’t break the bank." - McConnell Quinn

Wow this was an amazing meal and great deal! The warm lobster roll with seasoned lemon butter on a Texas toast style roll was so good 🥹 Fries also hot and fresh and perfect amount of salt! Their energy drink has a nice berry flavor to it, doesnt taste like another other energy drink in my opinion and it has like 200mg of caffeine I think it says on the menu? Overall it was quality food served fast and correctly and I was very happy with my experience! Would recommend and would go again

Some things to know: you have a menu board you can look at in like so you can start thinking about what you want, I took pictures of it so when it’s time to move forward I can still think about it. When you get up to the speaker there’s a smaller menu. There’s a card reader that is tap to pay, chip or slide but this is a zero cash business so be prepared! So far I’ve only tried the Mexican bowl with brown rice and steak, but love it so much I’ve had it 4 times now! Great for a carb and protein meal after a workout at the gym right next to it. My regular meal costs $12.35 after tax.

I have never been to Angie's Lobster before today, but I have wanted to try it for a while. Got all the breakfast things (3) and definitely the french toast is my favorite. I wish I would have asked for an extra syrup tho because I like to smother my bread in it and the toast is kind of a thicker bread. The breakfast fries I thought were delicious. Super salty, buttery and flavorful. Definitely grab a couple napkins. As for the sandwiches they were really good, but a little hard to eat. The cheese melted into the bottom of the bun which kind of has a V shape where it fit perfectly. Breakfast meals can easily have leftovers for lunch too. Excellent prices. Can't really complain.

Impressed that they get their lobsters from their own wharf back East, but it's not just lobsters that they have, so be sure to check out their menu as it helps to be familiar with it before you're on line in your car. I couldn't decide on the hot or cold lobster roll, but I went with a meal of a warm lobster roll with seasoned lemon butter, Angie's special sauce, and fries and soda ($13.99)--(although they should ditch the plastic soda cup since they should care more about ocean stewardship since it's their livelihood). I also asked for the extra lobster meat ($3.99 extra) since I figured I'd need it since I actually wanted to be sure I could taste the lobster and not the roll. It was the correct decision as it was the perfect amt. although the roll itself wasn't as long as I was hoping, but it was nicely butter toasted. Fries just average, special sauce very tasty, and drumroll please, the lobster roll was very tasty although not quite what I got in Maine, but heck, this is the Sonoran Desert and I was still delighted with the treat and the service at the window was smooth as was the entire ordering and processing. Very efficient drive-thru, so can't rate "atmosphere."

Finally I had the famous lobster roll 🤔😔. Ever since Angie's opened in Tempe, AZ I have been wanting to buy a lobster roll, however, 4 or so years in, I was never willing to make the drive. Finally today! They opened a new location by our home in Buckeye and you bet we would be there...so many expectations, yet it was underwhelming 😭. Now let's be objective here, the meat tasted good and yes! I know this is a cheap item compared to other rolls, however, the size was also comparable to the prize, where this roll was about half the size and meat as other I've eaten before. This was for sure a disappointment 😥, please make sure to review the pics I've added. In addition to the lobster roll, my wife had the sw chicken sandwich with roasted green chilies and avocado, the meal is less then $6 which is a great price point, however, the sandwich is also smaller, I would order 2 of them instead of ordering a meal to get all the protein benefits and none of the junk from the fries, which were nothing special. Finally, my kid had the tenders, he said they tasted were good but they seemed overcooked, am I wrong? Plz judge yourself once you see the pic. All in we spent $24 and mostly it was my fault due to the lobster being $10. If you buy 3 or 4 sandwiches alone the total would be less then $15 maybe that's a better option. We would definitely buy the chicken sandwich and try the burgers next since they are cheap but If you are in a rush and want something simple and clean and cheap to eat definitely consider Angie's, their food tastes clean and doesn't leave you feeling bloated, it is the right portion that will keep you going after lunch, just don't expect to be wowed like we did. I hope this helps on your decision.

Google
I recently tried Angie’s Lobster and ordered two hot lobster rolls, a New England fried clam roll, spicy honey fried shrimp roll, and the fried cod sandwich. Every single one of them was excellent—fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. The only downside was the size of the rolls—they’re quite small for the price. Additionally, I wasn’t thrilled with the attitude of the girl at the window when I checked my bags to ensure all the rolls were accounted for before heading out. It’s understandable to double-check a large order of over $60, and I didn’t appreciate it.

Google
If you don't mind drive thru, they have tasty salads for $5 with chicken or falafel at the prime.grill locations. I get chilled lobster roll and warm it at home, tasty too.

Google
Food is not for us. Family had 3 cod sandwiches, breading is dark and very oily. Fries are thin and hollow. Cold and old right out the bag. For $35 bucks, just inedible. Took the breading off. just not for us.

Yelp
We had no idea what to expect when we elected to give Angie's Lobster a try for lunch. Neither of us was super excited to try the lobster rolls as we both try to avoid Gluten, but the salads sounded good so we each ordered a different one. I had the Caesar salad with double chicken. My wife had the Cobb salad. We were both very happy with what we got. The dressing in particular was good on mine. Caesar dressing is typically pretty good I find with fairly well balanced flavors and with nothing really standing out. Angie's Caesar dressing is a little more on the mustard side which I enjoyed. The chicken was well cooked, but tender and tasty and the greens were fresh and crisp. If there was anything missing, it was that there was no Parmesan on it. The Cobb was very good as well and she would happily reorder it , but there are some others that sounded great too

Yelp
Stopped by Angie's Lobster for a salad fix, and they did not disappoint! The food is fresh, flavorful, and surprisingly affordable. I ordered the Mexican Salad with grilled chicken -- while the chicken was a little on the dry side, it was tasty. The avocado was creamy and generous, tortilla chips had the perfect crunch, and that creamy cilantro sauce tied it all together beautifully. Next time, I'll skip the onions -- they were a bit too potent and overpowered the other flavors. There's no indoor seating, but you can either walk up, drive thru, order online, or use DoorDash. Super convenient, especially since they get busy! The drive-thru is spacious and clean, but just a heads-up: they don't accept cash, so bring a card. The menu is large and located farther back in the drive-thru lane -- it can be a bit much to take in quickly. I recommend deciding ahead of time if you're ordering for a group, because the staff keeps the line moving and might rush your order a bit. Overall, a great visit! Fresh ingredients, fast service, and prices that honestly feel too low for the quality. I'd happily pay more if they ever increase prices. Definitely planning to return.

Yelp
This was my first trip to AL! I got a chilled and warm lobster rolls and a piece of cod. The warm roll and the cod was absolutely delicious. The chilled lobster roll was not my favorite because it was toooooo cold for me. It was still good. The sauces and butter are great also. I will absolutely go back.

Yelp
Just got home from Angie's I thought I order a lobster roll with fresh lobster. I got lobster with breading on a roll. Greatly disappointed! Even had a fight with my girlfriend over this dinner! Not in a rush to go back!

Yelp
Second time in a row where I buy the breakfast and it comes fresh off the charcoal burnt to a crisp , do not understand how the staff sends this to their customers like it's edible , seems like they care more about timing and pushing the drive thru line out over having repeat customers , showed it to the staff and they offered a remake with a closed window in my face even though I wanted refund , just left it and went to eat elsewhere

Yelp
I love Angie's Lobster! The only place I know where you can get a lobster roll meal for $10! Most importantly the food is great too! Service has been quick and friendly and the line moves quickly. We most recently tried the breakfast and it was great! $5 for a little breakfast sandwich, delicious breakfast potatoes and a drink! I'll need to try their bowl meals as well soon.
google avatar

Yelp
Angies was a hit. Had to try a lobster roll of course and it wasn't half bad. The best deal right now is you can get their chicken for $4.99 as a bowl, burrito or salad. We tried the bowl, there's about 8 different flavours you can try from, the Greek was my favourite I tried. My husband really liked his cobb. Would recommend.

Yelp
Came to try the updated cod sandwich, this is a junior version which has only one fish piece compared to the other that has two. I tried the original when it came out and wasn't really happy with the flavor/texture. I thought it was "too crispy", it wasn't at all flakey and the breading seemed overfried. This "new" version which they say they adjusted those particular issues doesn't seem totally resolved. Fish texture still isn't flakey like other fish sandwiches. The breading coloring was slightly less dark but still seemed overfried. Also they use the same bun as the two piece sandwich so it was more bread than fish. Overall, I wouldn't get either fish sandwiches again. As far as service, idk if they were overwhelmed (only two cars ahead of me) or what but when I got to the window, I got my drink and the girl handed me my bag. It seemed a bit light so I looked inside and I only received the sandwich. I told her I was missing the fries and she gave me a d'oh!!! expression. She took less than a minute to get me the fries so not real harm but still. I've said this more than once but ever since they added the grill part, service and timing has really gone downhill and it's sad.

Yelp
Angie's has changed a lot from when they first opened, but overall they are quick, efficient and offer delicious food at a great value. I appreciate the variety of options to choose from. Their iced coffee is very good. If you get the berry energy drink, try it 'dirty' with added cream.

Yelp
Now that I had the lobster roll from Angie's in Surprise there is one less option of what and where to eat. IT WAS TERRIBLE!!! Lots of apparently ground up lobster with one chunk of tasteless lobster. Wondered if the line of cars were first time customers who would never return.
google avatar

Yelp
While visiting Surprize AZ I noticed a drive thru lobster restaurant ( everything is a drive thru it's sooo hot out). I was skeptical, but was willing to spend what I am sure was going to be a week's pay for my family of three. To my surprise, a butter drawn lobster roll was under $10!! Make it a combo for $13...incredible. And it was amazingly good! Prefer a crab roll? Same price! They also have salads, which are as tasty as they are large. You have to try Angie's...quality food at an incredible price. And you never have to leave your car!! Don't miss this incredible value!!
google avatar

Yelp
Who knew great lobster could be found in the Phoenix area? Thanks to yelp I discovered Angie's Lobster when I was in the area on business. The lobster roll was 100% lobster and delicious! I also had the Maine crab roll which was equally as good.(reasonably priced at around $10 each) It is no dining in, just drive-thru... and no cash is accepted. Obviously their business model is to keep prices low and quality high. Highly recommended!
google avatar

Henry L.

Yelp
What a joke. For the price I paid it was horrible food. I wonder if the two hairs I found in my food added nutritional value.
google avatar

Lloyd C.

Yelp
Driving up, I was surprised (in Surprise, AZ) that it was a drive-thru only. Granted, I didn't read the reviews for this particular location as I was planning on going to one of their other locations. Anyways, I decided to get...the meal as it comes with fries, Angie's sauce, and a drink for $1 more. That's a deal! #2 Warm Lobster Roll (with butter) - A good amount of fresh tasting lobster on this sandwich. Angie's sauce was like a cajun remoulade sauce and was creamy and delicious. Clarified butter was great on the lobster. The fries were thin-cut and nice and crispy. Added a Fried Lobster Tail. Nicely breaded and crispy. The service was nice and friendly as you ordered. I am glad I tried it and would go again if I lived in the state. My mouth is still watering as I write this review.

Yelp
Really liked this local chain. The bowls are the best, and the chicken was on sale for $4.99. The Cobb was delicious. They are like Salad and Go, I believe they are affiliated in some way. It's just a drive thru location. Would recommend.

Yelp
I first tried the Angies in Flagstaff and then saw there was one down here too! Since finding this one, I've been about 4 or 5 times. I'm a fan of the cold lobster roll. I'm also a fan of the spicy shrimp roll. Lobster tastes good. Occasionally you'll find a shell so be prepared for that. But I'd rather find a shell than eat fake meat. I've had other lobster rolls and these ones are a bit smaller, not as stuffed as most. Sometimes I prefer that but if you're starving you might want to consider that :) I have yet to try the fresh salad and wrap menu that looks like it could be an incredible healthier option! Breakfast too! I'm usually craving some seafood in the form of a quick casual bite if I find myself here. 3 out of 5 for a number of reasons. Service has been sub par each time. Even through a drive thru, you can feel the pulse of an establishment. I cant recall one friendly employee. When you order a warm and cold roll, they package them together in the same paper boat...so now your cold roll is warm and your warm roll is cold lol...and if you ordered one and someone else ordered one, well, good luck sharing the paper boat. It makes zero sense. In addition, they charge you a ridiculous amount for the smallest thing of sauce when their rolls literally just come with "butter". If you've already paid and ask for a sauce they will literally make you swipe your card again lol. Feels very tacky and annoying. But I'm sure I'll be back bc where else can you get a drive thru lobster roll :)

Diana M.

Yelp
This place is just not consistent! Ordered a lobster roll meal, and a fried shrimp meal, and both with totally cold and limp fries that were not edible! Also rolls were totally cold also. So we paid $25 for four pieces of shrimp and few pieces of lobster! Being a drive-thru employees need to check temp of food!! When the customer leaves the drive thru we have no clue of problems until it's too late!!
google avatar

George P.

Yelp
Food is good price has gone up way too much. Fast service always out of tea I use to get two lobster rolls.

Leslie G.

Yelp
Dear Angie's lobster what happened to you! Your food used to be better. I went to your Surprise Location on Thursday for lunch and the french fries were cold and the iced tea tasted like Lipton iced tea drink mix. It was terrible. The lobster was just mediocre. I threw the french fries in the trash and dumped the ice tea out my window of my car. I've gone here several times and this time I was really disappointed. Please take this as constructive criticism and make a few changes. I would make sure number one you never ever serve cold french fries! That can ruin you! Also, you need to serve brewed iced tea.

Yelp
I really enjoyed Angie's Lobster and lovePrime Grill, but my last two bowls were awful! The meat is over cooked, both steak and shrimp and both times, the steak had grisel. There's not a receipt nor a number listed to call. Loosing me as a customer... UPDATE- I took this bowl back and was able to speak with someone. They refunded this bowl and added that all batches of meat are not the same and they vary in quality. (It was a still over cooked)

Yelp
Visited 2/14/2024 Wow Just had to try this place after seeing it on Yelp. I couldn't believe that there was a Drive Through Lobster Fast Food Joint. It's a simple inexpensive place with a simple menu and decent food for the price point. I highly recommend this place or one of the other five locations if you love Lobster Rolls.
google avatar

Holly R.

Yelp
It's fast but for the price, it could have bigger portions. And didn't really taste like anything.
google avatar

Kevin L.

Yelp
Fast food drive through only. Service is fast because they fry the food. I ordered the chilled lobster roll and it was great. Fries have a small seafood oil taste, but certainly crispy. The snow crab roll was dry even with the butter and sauce. I ate 75% of it before tossing it. Overall, there is really good value here as many lobster rolls are $20 and you get it here for $10. Will be back.
google avatar

Aude O.

Yelp
A new location opened up a little closer than the Thunderbird one so I decided to hit it up. Drive Thru was popping and they don't have inside or outside seating. Drive thru went pretty quick even with the amount of cars there. Obviously you come here for the lobster rolls. I go with the chilled and warm classics, but they also have fried options too and a breakfast menu. It's a delicious and pretty cheap lobster rolls for sure. Service is quick. Make sure you are ready to pay once you get to the speaker as they don't take payment at the window
google avatar

Jazmine V.

Yelp
It's essentially fast food..but lobster and seafood. I thought the lobster sandwiches were very good. The fries were old and stale. Not completely sure if I'd go back, but I like the concept.

Janin B.

Yelp
If I get fast food, I'll go to Angie's lobster. Not because of how efficient everything is ran but also of the amazing food and the friendly people working here. Also it is freshly prepared and it is affordable if you compare it to other fast food chains around. It's good food for a reasonable price.

Yelp
I've been craving a lobster roll for quite some time. So, I finally took the time out to try this place. At first you may think how odd a drive-thru that serves lobster but let me tell you, it works. You don't order at the menu board. You drive up and order at a little speaker with a smaller menu above it right before the window where you pickup your order. There is also a card terminal there so once you're done ordering you pay and then drive up to the window where they hand you your order. No muss, no fuss. I like it! I had the warm lobster roll combo and a fried lobster tail on the side. The fries were good not overly salty but could be crispier. The warm lobster on the roll was nicely cooked and full of flavor. It wasn't fishy tasting and the texture was good. The bread was toasted nicely and they are not stingy with the lobster. They pack that roll. It came with melted butter and Angie's sauce...which is delicious. It's good on the lobster and for dipping the fries in. The fried lobster was nice and crispy and the batter was good but the lobster was chewy so I think it was overcooked and I felt like the batter overpowers the taste of the lobster. Is it the best lobster roll? No. Is it a good value for the price? Yes! $10.99 for a lobster roll, fries and drink when just one lobster roll alone can cost $15 and up. I say it's worth it and worth a try and I want one closer because I'm ready to go back. LOL!!
google avatar

Cliff M.

Yelp
Wow, West Valley fastfood lobster in Phoenix!! We had heard about Angies since moving to the west side, and really ehat a nice treat! Warm lobster roll sandwiches with drawn butter!! Really good flavor lobster taste and texture for the price of a flavorless bigmacmeal Highly revommended, what a win!
google avatar

Deanna H.

Yelp
Tried the Mexican surf and turf burrito and it was really good except for the steak. There were several fat pieces and the ones that weren't fat were too thick to chew. Outside of that - great burrito but would not recommend eating it in the car!

Betty A.

Yelp
I always like coming to Angie's because the employees are very pleasant and the food is actually pretty good coming from New England myself. I'm very picky on my lobster and shrimp and crab. This is really the only place that I consider that has good seafood in the area.

T W.

Yelp
I used to love this place when they first opened. The quality was great. The food was fresh, but that no longer exists. I get times are tough, but raising your prices and then providing crap food is not okay. Unfortunately I won't be back. The idea of it is great and the service is fast, but the food is awful. They now use imitation crab and you can tell. You get maybe one piece of quality lobster and that's it. You also get tons of shells in your sandwich. I will say the lemonade is still good, but not the seafood. I'm really sad that it has changed so much, but I also think lying to people about "quality" food is not okay. You can tell it's imitation crab and the dyes alone from it stain your fingers and bread.
google avatar

Amber N.

Yelp
At first I was skeptical about this place because I'm not a big lobster fan and I assumed it was going to be pricey. I got the fried shrimp with French fries and toast which was $8.99 and it's surprisingly so affordable. And what's best about this place it has a drive through. Service was pretty fast since we went through drive thru. I would come back to try the lobster next time.
google avatar

Shawn A.

Yelp
Okay, I love lobster rolls and by love, I love love lobster rolls. I have had them throughout the NE, so a $10 loves yet roll in Phoenix...I'm a skeptic, but curious. Damn! This is a legit roll. The lobster was piled higher, the roll was the right roll, just add butter (which came melted in it's own little pack). The lobster was fresh tasting, not overly chunky, but in no way too small. It had enough that when you take a bite some lobster falls out, which is the sign of the proper bun to lobster ratio. I am a purist, my son got the Honey one and it was fine. I got a fried half tail on the side, it was also fine. But as a purist give me a roll, lobster and melted butter! Don't sleep on this one!
google avatar

Jesse P.

Yelp
The lobster rolls are pretty good! This location is very nice and clean. And the servers at the windows are usually very sweet! Only thing I wish was that you got more for your money! Maybe bigger portion sizes.
google avatar

Jess C.

Yelp
Plenty of lobster meat in the sandwich! It tasted fresh and not too fishy. We ordered the warm, the fried, and the spicy honey. We all liked it and no one complained. Fries were a little soggy but no biggie. My only petty complaint is the guy who was working the drive thru was a probably having a bad day bc he was rude. It was our first time there so I guess I was too slow to order and he yelled at me "what? Do you want to meal or not the meal?!! yeah im sensitive, I know...but it threw me off. And then when he handed me my drinks, no eye contact and he just had his arms out the window like hurry up and take and it was spilling bc it was on a carrier. Jerk! Anyways...no sitting areas just a drive thru. That's probably how they are able to keep the prices of lobster rolls low. Will I come back? Probably if I'm in the area...sure. Maybe that guy is gone.
google avatar

Jenn N.

Yelp
Great food, fast service, and prices you can't beat! What's not to love? My family loves this place and it's our go to spot when we have visitors when looking for a quick tasty meal. For the quality and price range is unbeatable. Also, now with the new addition of the Prime Grill items even people who are allergic to or do not like shell-fish can dine here as well. Make sure to ROLL on by!
google avatar

Rich P.

Yelp
It's ok. I've had some really good things and others that just aren't so good. I would recommend sticking to the lobster rolls. Anything fried has been so hit or miss. Seems like if you catch them when the oil has been changed recently the fried food comes out pretty good. Otherwise most of the time it's overcooked with no flavor except burnt crispy coating.
google avatar

Kimmie N.

Yelp
Couldnt figure what to eat on my last night in AZ and randomly came across this via yelp. Pretty skeptical because its a fast food drive thru that serves lobster. Drive thru line moves quite fast and I like that they produce less waste like straws and utensils unless requested. You order at a speaker under the tunnel instead of the menu board at the beginning. There is also a card terminal where you place your order so everything is done by yourself and the secondary window will give you your order. Fries were well seasoned. It wasnt overly salty but not crispy which i semi liked. The pieces of lobster was surprisingly good. It was not fishy tasting and had good texture. Wasnt overly chewy as some lobster can be overcooked. Bread was nicely toasted. The fried lobster tail was very crispy and batter was good. I felt like it took away from the lobster taste but i still enjoyed it. Their sweet tea was eh. I wasnt too much of a fan since it didnt taste like southern tea but still good. Definitely would return for more.
google avatar

Sara M.

Yelp
Quick drive thru line. Friendly service. Fries were too salty but had good flavor. Ordered the hot honey and hot grilled. Pretty straight forward process and the short drive ensured a hot meal. $8.50 if you don't get the meal. Pretty great deal!

Yelp
My Wife and I recently had a chance to try Angie's Lobster at Litchfield and Waddell in Surprise. This is a bit different than other food places; there is only a drive thru with no seating. It is also about as plain Jane as you can imagine (no straws even) but they say that it keeps the price down. For 12.99 you get a well stuffed lobster roll, fries, and a drink. The rolls can be either warm with butter or cold with mayonnaise. We both added a fried half lobster tail for just a bit more. We both come from the Massachusetts coast near Maine so we know our lobster. This was definitely the real thing. Can't wait to go back soon!

Yelp
Not gonna lie, we were more than a little skeptical trying a drive thru lobster roll spot, especially here in the desert. But after reading a little on their seafood sourcing and seeing the long line, we gave it a shot and it totally exceeded our expectations! Portions were so generous! Lobster both fried and fresh were actually quite flavorful and delicious. Fries were also hot, perfectly crispy and right on point! Their ordering system is efficient and everything came out piping hot! And the price, just wow!! As weird as it all sounds and seems, give this place a shot because it's surprisingly really good!

Yelp
Very poor quality food. Two of us had lobster roll. Lobster was very fishy one 9f us couldn't even eat thrown in the trash. Also ordered a hamburger. Left horrible taste after meal done. No straws for drinks. No salt ice tea out of the soda machine. Not fresh brewed. Crappy seating. Had to place order on a computer . They don't take cash. Food is awful restaurant is awful never going back

Yelp
They have gone up in price, down in quality and quantity and refuse to take cash. Loved this place 2 years ago when they were a food truck and then for a few months after they built a brick and mortar. They still have no place to sit inside or outside. Only one of their Grill places has an inside sit down downtown phoenix. They have managed to expand these drive thru s from one end of the state to the other and as far as I have seen, quality has gone downhill. If only they had stuck with one unique quality food like the lobster roll, it would have been great. But now the lobster is tough. I'll save my money ((cash)) and get good lobster once or twice a year somewhere you can sit down and not eat with a plastic fork or beg for napkins.

Yelp
Well, obviously people love Angie's. And whats not to like about a $9.99 Lobster Roll! Really, that makes up for any shortcoming. In the past, if I wanted a Lobster roll, I ordered it fresh from Maine on Goldbelly. As you might expect, it was both expensive and delicious. Angie's makes Lobster affordable! And that's a good thing! I was lucky when I visited. There were only four cars in line. If you've driven by this location, you've no doubt seen the line meander around the shopping center. The last visit, we did have to pass them over because the line was outta site! They do however have an efficient drive through process. You view the menu, move forward, order, move forward, pay on the machine, move forward through the tunnel and finally pick up your bag waiting at the next window sill. It's pretty wild. There is little human interaction. It feels like a big vending machine. Now, the food. I did get my lobster rolls and also tried the fried lobster. The fried was unusual to me. I had never eaten fried lobster before this. It tasted almost like fried oysters to me. Interesting... So, my only criticism would be that since there is no dining room, you have to take your rolls with you. My preference would have been hot buttered lobster. My thought was, by the time I got them home, they would be a cold soggy mess. So I ordered the cold roll that had a dressing rather than butter. Unfortunately, by the time we got home, they were still soggy. My advice; park and eat them while they are hot! Or, order the roll dry and add the condiments at home. Try them for yourself. The long lines don't lie!

Yelp
A lobster roll, fries and a drink for $10.00? GTFO!! But seriously, yes, $10.00! Decided to make my way down here about 2 weeks ago and swung by on a Saturday. It was crowded as hell! The cars were about 30 deep in the parking lot. I decided I would try another day. It wasn't long........... The next day (Father's Day) I drove down here and arrived right around 11am. Only about 10 cars in front of me. Score! I made my way up to the speaker and went with a #1 and added a fried lobster tail. Total was like $14.00. You pay at the little machine (card....they take cash at the window), drive up 10 feet and your stuff is pretty much handed to you out the window and you are on your way. Very fast and efficient! I parked nearby and unpacked my bag. First of all, what a great value, right? You get a full on buttered New England style bun, stuffed with lobster, a large amount of fries, and a drink of your choice for $10.00. You cannot beat that! I opened the packet of butter that comes with it and drizzled it over my sandwich. It was delicious! Warm, chunky lobster was headed down my throat lol. Reminded me of my 30th birthday I spent in Maine. The fried lobster tail was great, too! Nicely breaded, crunchy and full of flavor. The fries? Fantastic! They give you a TON of them and they were nice and hot and crispy. Arnold Palmer to drink, it washed everything down and quenched my thirst! I came back a few days later and got a #4 which is a buttered bun with 3 fried lobster tails. I made my own sandwich and it was delicious as can be. Same massive amount of fries, and this time, they had Coke and Sprite as beverage options (they didn't have that the first time I went, or at least I didn't see it offered on the menu....this time it was on the menu written out in pen). Such a good meal at an unbeatable price! I sure am glad this opened here in Surprise. I have been a huge fan of Salad and Go (Same owners) and Angie's Lobster looks to be shaping up as a new favorite of mine. They are open late, too! 10pm! Stop on by and try them out! You will be happy that you did!

Yelp
This place is AWFUL! Looks like a car wash lol. The meat had a white film as well as a few pieces of shell. 2 put of 5 of us threw it out!

Yelp
My family talks a lot about this location and since I was visiting from out of town, we decided to take a visit to Angie's. It is drive-through only and it is credit card only. You will drive up and enter the queue and look at the menu and then you'll place your order at the next speaker. We opted for one lobster roll, cold. As well as an order of fries. If I recall correctly, it might've been a combo meal. After you order and pay, you will go to the next window. There's basically no utensils, etc. so we couldn't cut the sandwich in half. it came with a melted packet of butter and some type of seasoned sauce. Honestly, I don't know what to do with either one of them, but we did not use them. Maybe we should, because I thought the lobster roll salad was a little dry and lacked flavor. The roll itself was just OK. The fries were served hot. I would probably come back and try something else although I wouldn't go out of my way to do so. Decent value overall.

Yelp
Quality Sea food drive thru in Arizona? Look no further. This is quality, priced right, served efficiently & delicious. We made the drive from Buckeye to Surprise. Now we need a couple of Angie's Lobster in the SW Valley.
