The 22 Best Affordable Restaurants in Las Vegas for a Cheap Meal

"Angie’s Lobster is the home of the $9.99 lobster roll. Angie’s Lobster ONLY uses wild-caught Maine lobster, sourced from a wharf on Bailey Island, Maine. Options here include warm and chilled lobster rolls, fried lobster sandwiches, spicy honey-fried lobster sandwiches, wild-caught Mexican colossal shrimp, North Atlantic snow crab, and fried North Atlantic cod. All rolls and sandwiches come a la carte or as a meal served with fries, sauce, and a drink for $2 more." - Janna Karel

Unlike Many Reviews-ALL GOOD! service fast, ordering easy, order exactly correct, roll tasted fresh and good with sauce and butter packets spread on. No crowd at 5:30 pm weekday, too! (The price is half to one third cost of other lobster rolls, but the portion is smaller, too. That's to be expected.) Definitely recommend this restaurant.

Great value for a good lobster sandwich on white bread roll. I ordered a warm lobster sandwich with butter it came with fries and a drink. That's the meal. You can order alacarte as well. I also ordered the chilled snow crab . The sauce for the chilled crab was good. I didn't care for the special sauce. The restaurant is strictly self serve. The dining room was just a couple of tables. Not very interesting. The service was curt and not friendly. I'm not sure if I would go back. It was ok

We eagerly anticipated the opening of this new restaurant, and it did not disappoint. Upon arrival, the experience was reminiscent of a bustling In-N-Out drive-through in Las Vegas, with a long line of cars. Fortunately, we found a parking space right in front of the building and headed inside to try the food. Having visited Portland, Maine, multiple times, we are familiar with authentic Maine lobster, and this place nails it. The restaurant was packed with people, and there were no physical customer service representatives to assist with ordering. Instead, there were three computer screens for placing orders. Once submitted, the order goes directly to the kitchen. Given that it was the opening weekend, the wait time for our food was about 30 minutes. Inside seating is limited, with only two tables accommodating more than three people. Most are two-person tables, and although there are many tables outside, the extreme Las Vegas heat makes outdoor dining uncomfortable, especially since there is currently no shade. When our order was ready, staff called out the name we input during ordering. It's worth noting that there are no staff to clean the tables, and a sign requests customers to clean up after themselves to help expedite the food preparation process. We ordered a warm lobster roll, chilled snow crab, chilled lobster, another chilled snow crab, and two hot honey fried lobster rolls. The lobster rolls were spot on, matching the quality of those served in Maine, and the food was phenomenal. We’re thrilled about this new addition and hope that the current high demand will lead to more locations opening in other parts of Las Vegas, particularly in the north or northwest areas. This would help bring more business to the valley, as this location is in the very south of Las Vegas. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and look forward to returning once the initial rush has subsided—though given the deliciousness of the food, that may take a while. Update: came back in Dec 2024 and the food was still amazing. No crazy crowds everywhere and it was very enjoyable.

A seafood haven in the heart of Las Vegas, has created quite a buzz among my colleagues. Despite my seafood allergy prohibiting me from joining their culinary adventure, my curiosity led me to bring my boys for a highly anticipated visit. Upon arrival, the cozy ambiance and affordable price point ($11 per person) immediately caught our attention. However, the long queues in both the drive-through and dining area highlighted its popularity. Note that cash is not accepted, and orders are placed at a kiosk inside. The consensus among my seafood-loving companions and family was overwhelmingly positive. The cold crab meal, lobster roll meal, and lobster tails left an unforgettable impression. The breaded lobster received mixed reviews, with my wife preferring less breading, but the crispy and buttery bread was a hit with my younger son. The lobster roll delighted my wife, who praised its freshness and balance of flavors even after a 30 min delivery to her. My older son couldn’t resist raving about the lobster tails, declaring them the best he’d ever tasted. He highly recommends the Angie’s sauce for dipping, adding an extra layer of savory goodness. Overall, Angie’s Lobster is a must-visit for seafood enthusiasts seeking a delicious and affordable meal. Be prepared for crowds and the card-only payment system, but the culinary rewards are well worth the wait and effort.

I've been waiting to try this place since they opened. While it still gets busy, the wait times and parking are finally reasonable. Here's my honest review: The Good: - You cannot beat the taste and quality for the price, period. The fried shrimp sandwich was fried perfectly and compliments the bread well. The warm lobster roll was fresh and the butter hits (all the sauces do if you can get them open ugh). I fed 3 people for $40 (and everyone was satisfied) which feels virtually impossible these days. - Angie's story is written on the wall in the dining area and it's truly heartwarming. The Bad: - There are no refills on fountain drinks, or any drinks at all. Like really?! Also no straws (that doesn't actually bother me much) - The dining area is small and has a 'clean up after yourself' model. Unfortunately most Americans are disgusting, so yea... the dining room isn't the greatest. Few flies here and there, dirty tables and chairs, full trash. You could eat outside and battle the pigeons. Or eat in your car. Or just take it home I guess. - Self serve, cashless kiosks (I personally LOVE this and considered putting under my 'Good' category as I'm not a fan of social interaction lol). But many older people were struggling and that causes the entire line to backup.

Went during lunch. Great options for a really good price. Inside is small so it was very packed and you place orders with tap or debit/credit only. No cash. So the touch screens had people stuck! Nevertheless I went through the drive thru which was quick. I had the sweet and hot and spicy lobster. It really did have a good taste. Bread was soft. Breading was way over cooked. Very hard and dry. Thank goodness for the sauce. Fries were good too. I would definitely go again just not fried next time.

This is our second time coming here but the first we did drive-thru. The food was good but we knew it’d be even better hot and fresh. We got the lobster and warm crab rolls. Both pretty good but could’ve used just a tad more flavor. The fries are really good and crispy with just enough salt. They don’t need any toppings but the Angie’s sauce on top is really tasty. We got the Angie’s Energy Drink as a side which was good but the cup was mostly ice

We had lobster and crab rolls. They were excellent. Fries are the skinny little ones. Great service. Sauce is excellent. There were no straws to keep cost down, but the cup lids worked just fine for drinking. Will go again. I think the food is addicting.
