"Sub shops dot the beachfront in Jacksonville, and many locals have their favorites. One sub shop that always stands out is Angie’s Subs, where every sandwich is under $10. The classic option here is the Peruvian Sub, which has four different meats, provolone cheese, and Angie’s iconic savory Peruvian sauce. Throughout the week, the sub shop highlights creative specials, so check the specials board before committing to one of the regular menu options." - Megan duBois

"Angie’s Subs is a Jacksonville institution where sandwiches are crafted with care and a bit of imagination. The number one seller on the menu is the Peruvian sub, which brings together four different types of meat, provolone cheese, and a special sauce into one perfect sandwich. The sub shop also features wraps and salads loaded with toppings. One of the biggest draws to Angies is the fun mix of specials every week, which can be found on its social media pages. Angie’s Subs just opened at the Jacksonville Airport so subs can now be taken to-go and eaten at 30,000 feet." - Megan duBois

"Angie’s Subs, a staple of the Jacksonville Beach culinary scene since the early ‘70s, is best known for its Peruvian sub. This sandwich is packed with ham, salami, bacon, Italian sausage, and provolone, and is finished with a distinct Peruvian sauce reminiscent of Italian dressing. The shop also offers subs named after Jacksonville Jaguars’ personalities, such as the Big Doug Pederson — named for the team’s head coach. This sub combines ham, turkey, bacon, and provolone with chips and a spicy jalapeno aioli, and is topped with slaw and jalapenos post-toasting." - Megan duBois

This place was highly recommended but for us it was just ok. Had the Veggie sandwich wish they put on more tomatoes and lettuce overall the flavor was ok but not enough filling. The potato salad was lacking on flavor. Honestly, the star of the show was the brownie. Cute vibe, but for us, it's not worth a repeat.

My first time eating here. My company has indoor billboards here and I felt it was only proper for me to patronize them. I chose the Philly steak sandwich on wheat and it was delicious! I also chose the homemade potato salad and homemade brownie and it was made fresh and delivered to my table pretty quickly. I really enjoyed listening to the top hits from the 60s-today while eating lunch. I’m definitely returning with my wife the next time I visit Jax Beach. I just wish they had handicap bars in the restroom for those of us who are challenged.

Google
Super disappointed after returning for the second time and the first experience wasn’t great! And sadly to add to the 20 min wait they burnt my sandwich and the bread is the best part of the sandwich! Of course a little crunch is nice but not this… Sun Deli on 3rd street is consistently better

A visit to Jax Beach means a visit to Angie’s Subs! My faves are the Peruvian and Dr. Bang’s! Pretty busy on a Thursday at lunch. These subs are super tasty and satisfying after playing pickleball. Friendly service always. I remember my first visit when I started college at UNF in 2004. Good to see Angie’s is still the powerhouse of the subs!

Google
They construct a healthy kids tuna salad sandwich with lots of fresh topping. The good flavored iced tea pairs well with lemon. What are other yummy custom orders? There is nice convenient customization. They bring in a few locally made bread and share local Peruvian sauce. The variety of chip bag option is fun. I watch for correct charge and card acceptance and support volunteer community firefighters.

Let me tell you something. I have been coming to Angie’s for years and yesterday my friend and I had an amazing visit all thanks to our runner Connor. Great kid, amazing attitude, and super polite. We also got to speak with Sean the Front of house manager and he amazing too. This visit was amazing and we can’t wait to come back.

Google
The sandwiches were excellent with lots of options. The dining room was huge but it had a cozy small town feel to it. Very cool place! There is also a pet friendly patio you can dine at as well. We highly recommend this place

The best sandwiches around! Peruvian all the way is our go-to. Best sweet tea in the Jacksonville area

Yelp
I decided in 2023 that sandwiches are my favorite food. I could eat any sandwich any day of the week at any time or at all times lol. But when it comes down to my favorite sandwich there are only two places and Angie's is one of them. Not only are the subs huge and packed but the meat is juicy and each component to the sandwich is the perfect ratio. The Peruvian is my go to here but I love the Italian sub as well, the French fries for two are a must and all of their sauces are awesome. Customer service is always nice it's usually youngsters and they are always upbeat and fun.

Yelp
I am so upset with myself that I have lived here two years and never tried this place till just recently. HOLY SANDWICH! Everything they have from phillys to Italian cut subs is fantastic. I got the bachelor the first time I went and I am just so hooked. On top of the amazing food- the vibe and decor in this place is so stinking nostalgic. I can't get over how kind the staff has been every time. They were not only working hard but they were all doing it with smiles. Such a great experience. Usually we get sandwiches to go- but not when we are getting Angie's we stay in to enjoy the atmosphere. You have to stop and have a big ol cup of sweet tea and just enjoy the environment. This has became one of the places my boyfriend and I go on rotation. The bread is so amazing... I literally eat every last crumb. You will not be disappointed. PS. The banana pudding is top notch, just like my nana makes.

Yelp
Angie's is the heartbeat of Jax Beach, which I'd argue is a prime example of the beauty of small town America. Okay I hear you, Jacksonville probably doesn't qualify as small town America haha, but I'd argue Jax Beach does. It has such a unique charm and character. Residents and former residents have such a pride and reverence to be from here that it is infectious. It makes you want to go. It's a community that lifts each other up. If you start talking about food with a Jax Beach native, the first place they will talk about is Angie's. You'll hear something along the lines of "Best subs on the planet" ... "I've been going for 20+ years" ... "You NEED to get the Sweet Tea" ... "I worked there in high school!!" ... "You HAVE to get the tater tots," ... "Make SURE you put Peruvian sauce on your sub" ... and the list goes on. As we were walking up to the strip mall style building that Angie fully occupies, I couldn't help but smile at a sign in the window that reads "Closed up on Sundays, giving our employees time fer Faith, Family, and Friends." After walking in, I scanned the menu and became a little nervous as Matt James has his own sub on there. Like damn, have they gone all Hollywood on us? I thought he was a dope Bachelor, but him as this food influencer... Idk I just don't really buy it. What is Matt James finna tell me about food? He kinda gives me the ick with his social media presence...but honestly I'm probably just jealous ahahaha I would be doing the exact same thing if I was him. What a dope life. I obviously couldn't order the Matt James sandwich out of pure envy, although it does look kinda good if you take the mushrooms off tbh........... I stood on business and ordered the Peruvian, as it is their magnum opus. Their pièce de résistance. Their Mona Lisa. My hopes were emphatically restored from the whole Matt James debacle when they gave us huge styrofoam cups for our drinks... I HADN'T SEEN A STYROFOAM CUP IN YEARS! Nothing hits like drinking a coke out of a styrofoam cup I swear. We went and sat down at one of the high top chairs and......... for full transparency I've spent the past 20 minutes typing and deleting how to describe the interior of this place. In the best way possible, it reminds me of a movie set. It gives me Central Perk levels of coziness. I'm a big softy, but I get emotional when I think about places like this. It reminds me so much of my childhood in Manhattan Beach before it went all Hollywood. It's an institution that serves, and is an integral part of the community. They support local small businesses with ad space all over the tables. They have framed "Customer of the Month" pictures dating back to the early 2000s. They employ high school kids from the local high school and have a TV solely dedicated to a livestream of the Jax Beach pier. They proudly hang a signed University of North Florida jersey on the wall and a Jacksonville University basketball schedule in the window. Angie's acts as almost a gathering place, a town hall if you will. As we were waiting for our subs, a group of 6 or so kids long done with their food sat to our right, proudly repping their respective college shirts and sweatshirts presumably back for Christmas break, trading stories and catching up. To our left, two gentlemen north of 60 were posted, splitting tater tots and laughing up a storm as they also awaited their subs. I'm not an eavesdropper but sometimes I like to eavesdrop hehehehee. My name was called, and a young employee handed us our subs with a big smile. Oooooooo don't get me started on this Peruvian sandwich. I'm drooling just thinking about ripping into it and getting a mouthful of fresh baked bread fused with a gang of Italian meats all brought together by a ho-made oil and vinegar mix.......... A top 3 sandwich I've ever had. In my week here I dragged my girlfriend twice, as it was my last meal in Jax before I left for the airport. I even bought their bottled Peruvian hot sauce and it got demolished in less than a week ahahahaha. Convenience culture has killed many of these small town community places. But as long as Angie's is around, there is still a pulse. THANK YOU ANGIE'S! JAX BEACH STAND UP! IG @jov_ Tiktok @jnov__

Yelp
I was heading home from Jacksonville Beach and was looking for a lunch spot. This sub shop had good reviews on Yelp, so I figured I would give it a try. It is located about a mile west of Jacksonville Beach on Beach Boulevard. I knew it was going to be good when the place was packed. They have plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, and do a very robust takeout business. I ordered my regular go-to sub, the Italian. It comes with various meats and lettuce, tomatoes and onions. It also had an oil and vinegar sauce, and was heated. I really enjoyed it. They also have about ten other subs on their menu. The space is very big for a sub shop, with plenty of seating inside. The chain has been in Jacksonville for dozens of years, and now I know why.

Unaverage J.

Yelp
Not a big fan of the Peruvian sauce. Was just ok. Too sweet for my Peruvian sub. Was in town visiting, and this place was highly recommended, and I see why. Literally everyone told me to get the Peruvian sub. Just was not expecting sweetness. Would have been better (to me) without the sauce. Will get the Italian next time. I tried several desserts, and all were wonderful. The tea is good, a little on the sweeter side, but I'm not a connoisseur and seems like that's why people like it.

Dan W.

Yelp
If you haven't been to Angie's Subs, then you haven't been to Jax Beach! Subs are fantastic and atmosphere is great! Highly recommend a Peruvian, Schweet Tea, and Brownie!!

Lilian L.

Yelp
This was our game plan for the weekend: Try Angie's Subs, grab soft drinks from the Dollar Tree, head to beach. We preordered our subs online and were able to pick up our sandwiches without a hitch. We got the Jack Del Rio Sub and the Samoan, which was a wrap. Both were absolutely delicious. With our tasty subs in hand, we headed to the beach, where they made for the perfect meal. It was a delightful combination of savory goodness and beachside relaxation--a weekend game plan that couldn't have been more satisfying.

Charlie Z.

Yelp
Angie's is a must if you're at the beach! Order ahead by calling, because they do get busy around lunch time. I always get the Peruvian Sub no veggies, sometimes I add crunchies (bbq Fritos) and it's amazing! The restaurant is an old convenience store/ once laundry mat with all types of eclectic decor. The Staff is always smiling and the owner (Ed) is the nicest guy you will ever meet! I'm pretty sure if they were entered in a sweet tea competition they would win first place!

Kelly M.

Yelp
I might be the only one....i just don't care for the food, cleanliness and atmosphere. Stopped in on a busy busy Saturday lunch time. The outdoor deck was full as were most of the indoor tables so I know that this is a very well liked spot, just not my kind of place.

Giana S.

Yelp
Drive past here all the time & finally gave it a try. Came at lunch time, super busy but moved quickly. Husband did a take out order and says he for sure ordered the sweet tea but it was forgotten so that was disappointing. We weren't charged for it though, so she must not have heard it and he didn't check. He got the potato salad while he waited (he's a big potato salad guy) and didn't care for it- said it was sweet & mustard heavy for his taste, but everyone does potato salad differently. Not bad, just not for him. Peruvian sandwich and tots were super tasty! We'll be back!

Miriam C.

Yelp
This is the best place in Jax to get a cold cuts sub. My hubby and I love the Peruvian sauce! They just opened up a location at the airport that is awesome too! The customer service is excellent and the decor/atmosphere is fun. Parking can be a nightmare, but maybe don't go on a gorgeous day at 1 pm on a Saturday like we did. :)

Donnie B.

Yelp
Great subs. Awesome service. Fun atmosphere. Love the dirty gringo, meatball sub and Philly cheesesteak.

Rose H.

Yelp
The subs are delicious! You can't go wrong with the Peruvian. The mix of flavors and the Peruvian sauce is so good!! The service is quick and efficient! The atmosphere is shack beachy. Pick your seat.. any seat! If you want the full Angie's subs experience- get the sweet tea and some fried tater tots!

Katy C.

Yelp
A local favorite. I get the Dr Bang's Crippy everysingletime. Chicken salad sub with lettuce tomato, mayo, and pepperoni. Add their signature Peruvian sauce for even more flavor. It's out of this world.

Christopher B.

Yelp
Sent me into a ten year spiral over the Peruvian sauce, great sandwich shop if you're in that part of the country.

Brandon S.

Yelp
I've been eating at Angie's for 25 years. I've since moved away and came back to have a piece of my childhood. It's still the same great Angie's local residents have enjoyed for decades. My go-to sandwich is the Peruvian Sub with the best sweet tea in town! The rolls are baked fresh daily, and the subs are built and toasted to order. You can never go wrong coming coming to Angie's. Be forewarned, lunch is insanely busy every day of the week. I recommend coming after 1pm so the lunch crowd clears out.

Melissa L.

Yelp
This local hangout provides all of the eclectic charm and support from the natives, and it doesn't disappoint with delicious food. I'm pretty sure they lockdown the secret recipe to the Peruvian sauce because it's worth the trip, alone. I love seeing young runners providing quick service--it's a casual atmosphere and definitely the kind of place you bring out-of-towners seeking a genuine beach experience. (It's also a great place to play I-Spy with a kid. Where else can you say, "I spy a blue deer with Mardi Gras beads," or, "I spy a poll wrapped in blue jeans pockets filled with tv remote controls?")

Abbey H.

Yelp
Classic place to stop when we are in the area! It is an eclectic place with fun decor and yummy subs! They have a few locations, but the original is a must visit!

Gary D.

Yelp
You have to check out this very eclectic sandwich shop that also has some awesome sandwiches. After 6pm the sandwiches are 6 bucks, but even at lunch time they're reasonably priced. Loved the vibe of this place. Will be back!

Jason C.

Yelp
5 Stars strictly for legacy and tradition alone. That's a big deal out here as it should be. Last several visits however have been very uneven unfortunately. Always something wrong or missing. Today is the most recent and perfect example. Ordered a classic Bang Scrippy and got either the Bang and no Scrippy or vice versa (I'm not sure which ones which lol). No chicken salad at all to be seen:( . Our Kids are great and have amazing attitudes, let's train them up to be equal prepared for proper food service

Rylan P.

Yelp
This is the best sub shop not at the beach not in Jax not in Florida but all of the US. The service is fast the Peruvian sub is unique and delicious! It's a great local spot that should be world renowned!

Nathan H.

Yelp
Angie's is a must stop by when family is in town. Got many people that look forward to it.

Micheal W.

Yelp
I come here every chance I get, I love this place. I'm surprised such an iconic place only has 300 reviews, if you like sandwiches, this is the place.

michael b.

Yelp
Angie's is loved by many people including us, I like the way you order and receive your sun here and the sub options are good and unique. It's such a cool place no table or chairs look the same here and people just vibe

Lisa M.

Yelp
Much bigger than I thought it would be on the inside with a fair amount of seating outside. The décor is all over the place and that just added to the coolness of the restaurant. Staff was super friendly and it was clean. Hubby had the "Peruvian" salami, ham, bacon, Italian sausage, provolone cheese and Peruvian sauce. I had the "My Wife Kicked Me Out" smoked turkey, smoked ham, spicy ranch, provolone cheese, lettuce and tomato. We will go back and check out some of the other fun sounding sandwiches.

Priscilla H.

Yelp
In my book- Angie's will always be 5 stars. Their sandwiches and sweet tea never disappoint. Ordered the jack del rio crunchy. Love the vibe and love the food and staff is always super friendly. If only they had an Angie's in South Fl.

Mia E.

Yelp
I drove 40 minutes across town to finally try the shop I've been insta-stalking for over a year and... yup, 100% worth it. The staff was SO kind in describing their favorite subs, and the specials at the time. I picked up 5 (the Peruvian, Dr Bang's Scrippy, My Wife Kicked Me Out, El Guapo & Sweet Teddy T) for myself and my family to split, as well as a few bottles of hot-sauce from the wall, a rediculously large sweet tea, a few packs of deviled eggs and a banana pudding that didn't make it home (shh, don't tell my family!). Everyone went feral over the food, and not a crumb survived of any of the subs. I'll 100% be coming back to this cute, quirky little shop with the sweetest front staff ever!

Keith H.

Yelp
Awesome sub shop! Peruvian sauce is unbelievable! Chicken salad is really good too.try the onion roll. Game changer.

Lucy D.

Yelp
Cute, longtime sandwich shop at the Beach. I'm torn on how to review Angie's bc the staff were friendly and the sandwich, well...not worth almost 10$...the bread was hard but toasted, there was meat and cheese, but the veggies were soggy. I honestly don't know what's missing from the sandwich but it's something. It also seemed smaller than usual. Maybe if you go to Angie's you need to sit in the restaurant and experience the eclectic vibe of old surfboards, 70s / 80s music, etc. bc that's a part of the experience. I just grabbed a sandwich and left due to time, so maybe that's what I was missing.

James S.

Yelp
You either know or just don't get it...Angie's has the best bread and fixins. Their eclectic variety of subs keeps us back..

John O.

Yelp
An odd & eclectic sandwich shop for sure! That being said they have some of the more unique sandwiches and food offerings. The decor looks like an antique store, a hunting lodge, and your grandparents' 1970s basement combined together: bright colors, old sports equipment, license plates, and taxidermy animals line the walls. Crystal had her favorite, the"My Wife Kicked Me Out" which is smoked turkey, smoked ham, spicy ranch, Provolone cheese, lettuce, and tomato. I love their sandwiches, my favorite is the "Peruvian": Genoa salami, ham, bacon, Italian sausage, Provolone cheese, and Peruvian sauce. This time I went for different: chicken tenders and tater tots. I got side of ranch and Peruvian sauce for dipping. Peruvian sauce is like a spicy and sweet honey mustard. One thing to keep in mind is that "Angie's Subs" is not marked with a sign on the front of the building. Look for the long blue roof facade. I first came here at night and drove past it twice!

Glen H.

Yelp
During my last visit, I had an issue where my server spilt my fries and unfortunately we were not able to resolve it. Last night, Shae remembered the situation and was kind enough to give me a complimentary side of fries. Great Customer service!!

Rebecca T.

Yelp
Literally everything on the menu is delicious! Can't go wrong with the Peruvian sub! It's a "hole in the wall" vibe and local favorite

Justin B.

Yelp
Jax Beach, a sleepy paradise where the salty air mingles with the sound of crashing waves, and the sun-kissed sand beckons you to embark on a culinary adventure. Prepare yourselves for a tale of culinary wonder, perplexing price discrepancies, and a saucy revelation. As I crossed the threshold of Angie's Subs, a sense of nostalgia washed over me. I've been visiting Angie's for nearly 20 years. The cozy interior, adorned with vintage memorabilia, harkened back to a simpler time when sub shops were revered for their straightforward approach to crafting sandwich masterpieces. And it was here that I encountered the star of the show - the Peruvian Sub. Oh, what a revelation it was! Picture succulent layers of perfectly seasoned roast beef, nestled within a warm, toasted roll, and adorned with a symphony of ingredients that danced on my taste buds. But it was the Peruvian sauce that truly stole the spotlight. A tantalizing blend of tangy, spicy, and savory flavors, it elevated the humble sub to extraordinary heights. Each bite was a flavor explosion, an exotic journey that whisked me away to the vibrant streets of Peru. Now, my dear readers, let me recount a puzzling mystery that unfolded during my visit to Angie's Subs - the enigma of the "Ten Dollar" sub. To my befuddlement, this delectable creation, boasting generous portions of mouthwatering ingredients, rang up at a mere $7.15. The mathematics perplexed me, for how could something so extravagant, so abundant, be priced so modestly? It was as if the universe itself conspired to offer a delightful surprise, and Angie's Subs became a beacon of affordability and indulgence. But let me share a saucy secret that I uncovered at Angie's Subs - the Peruvian sauce. Oh, dear readers, this velvety, tantalizing concoction had me positively smitten. In my state of culinary bliss, I found myself reaching for bottle after bottle of this exquisite elixir. Three full bottles, to be precise, were employed to satisfy my insatiable desire for the harmonious marriage of flavors that the Peruvian sauce provided. With each bite, the sauce enveloped my senses, caressing my palate with its tantalizing blend of heat and tang. It was a revelation, a secret weapon that elevated the Peruvian Sub to a league of its own. The Peruvian Sub reigns supreme, an amalgamation of flavors that will transport you to distant lands. And while the "Ten Dollar" sub may defy the laws of mathematics, fear not, for it offers a remarkable value that is as bewildering as it is delightful. Embrace the saucy enchantment of the Peruvian sauce, and let your taste buds be swept away on a journey of culinary euphoria. So, if you find yourself in Jacksonville Beach, seek out Angie's Subs and immerse yourself in a sub-sational experience that will leave you craving more.

Nikki Y.

Yelp
Everyone I know from Jacksonville raves about angies so I knew I had to stop by at some point or another. I got the chicken sub and it was good, bread was toasted to perfection and the toppings were fresh. My only complaint is that the chicken was a little bit too smoked which made it taste like it was burnt. I couldn't tell if that was the point though Decor inside is super Jacksonville. The jax beach pride really shows Great spot to grab a sub before heading to the beach or after

Riley M.

Yelp
Shaes service was unbelievable!! it was a completely busy nice saturday and he was working so hard! Always running around, providing excellent service to everyone despite the busy atmosphere. He was projecting names loudly and clearly to provide the most efficient way of getting people their food, on top of that he even took our trash for us. Need more people like Shae in the restaurant industry.

Ethan D.

Yelp
The customer service was phenomenal all around! Saige checked me out and was very friendly. Our runner was Ethan who bought out our food and asked us several times if we needed anything else and continued checking on our table. Definitely 5/5 stars and best subs in the south!

B C.

Yelp
Once they quickly and efficiently take order and then pay, your order then goes into the quantum realm for 20 min. If it's slow it may take 25 min, it makes no sense. The good news is you get and ok sandwich in the end

Abdullah A.

Yelp
Ethan, Tim & Brooke are the best in here. Very welcoming and super friendly. I totally recommend this place. 10/10

Emily D.

Yelp
Great spot fun atmosphere. The peruvian sub is always my go to when I'm at the beaches.

Seth P.

Yelp
My twin brother recommended that I try Angie's subs. At the time I haven't ever been there. When I walked in it was amazing. The atmosphere, beach vibe it gives, and more. It reminds me of the small local restaurants you would see on tv shows where all of the friends eat, sit, and have a good time. The service was amazing! The food was delicious! I 1000% giving Angie's subs a try.

Lil C.

Yelp
It's a homey feel when you enter the place. Service is excellent. You order your food then it's brought to your table. I tried the Peruvian sub for lunch with their delicious side sauce. It was so good that I ate the entire sub. The bread they use is the perfect one for a sub. Crunchy outside, soft inside and not too much bread. So the meat is not overpowered by the bread. Definitely will come back to this place and recommend it to everyone. Btw, for those who like sweet tea, you have to try theirs.

Anders G.

Yelp
First time I tried Angie's today and it was great!! Peruvian sub all the way!! Definitely coming back!'

Kuch N.

Yelp
Reasonably priced, amazing subs, awesome atmosphere. This is a staple restaurant here in Jacksonville. The Sweet Tea is the best sweet tea I have ever had and the fries/tater tots are to die for. My favorite subs are The Peruvian, The Philly Cheesesteak, and the Dr.Bangs Scrippy.

Adrian D.

Yelp
Had the Philly cheese. Provolone cheese, but super amazing. Great service. Very homey ambiance. I loved it here and cannot wait to eat all the subs. Superb flavor for a very affordable price.

Patricia N.

Yelp
Such a great local spot for yummy sandwiches. Now I have to say that I'm typically not a sandwich person, but I will admit that Angie's Subs has me second guessing my life choices. Hahaha. They offer a few speciality hot sandwiches and your prototypical cold sandwich selection. My hands down favorite is the Peruvian Sub, but you honestly can't go wrong with this place. My only suggestion is that you ask for some extra Peruvian sauce on the side to slather all over your sandwich. Also, go ahead and ask them to make your sandwich extra toasted if you really like a crunch.

Pauline W.

Yelp
OMG!! The Peruvian sandwich is out of this world!!! Just a perfect bit if there is such a thing. The bread is so well toasted and reheats really well. Highly recommend it!!

Dean P.

Yelp
honestly, could've never imagined the sub being as good as it was. Five stars all the way nice job, Angies!

James G.

Yelp
I would like to take this time to say thank you to Angie's Subs, for the great food and service. Furthermore, on a very hot Saturday afternoon, when our bus broke down, in the parking lot the staff made sure that my girlfriend and I were offered cool beverages and we could wait inside the Air Conditioned building while we waited for our relief bus. Also Angie's Subs with compassion and great care and excellent customer services, fed our driver and his supervisor a very nutritiLocal Sandwich noous meal while too waited for help to arrive. Cudos! Angie's Subs. I'm proud of you all.

Michelle D.

Yelp
I can't believe it took me this long to try Angie's Subs. I've passed the sub shop a million times and would always see lots of people dining on the patio. I had the day off and was in the mood for a sub so I hopped on Yelp and was reminded of Angie's. Since it was my first time I was a little confused on the ordering and payment process. Ordering happens at one counter to the left and then you pay at the counter to the right. They bring your sandwich out of the kitchen and call your name when it is ready. I sat on the patio while I devoured the Peruvian sub. I was advised this was their number one seller and now I understand why. The bread was fresh with a buttery flavor. The layers of meat, cheese, sausage and veggies melted in my mouth. The sub was heated but not too much as the bread was still soft with just a little crispness. I can't wait to go back and try a different sub! Next time I will call in my order as this spot stays busy.
