"Anglesea Aleworks is a homegrown microbrewery that makes serious beers but doesn’t take itself too seriously. The casual, come-as-you-are vibe is nice for when you’re with a group with a range of tastes—someone can get a craft pilsner, someone can get a citrus-forward hazy IPA, and someone else can try one of their hard birch beers or mango hard seltzers, either straight up or in slushy form. But everyone should try a Doo Whip—a fruity wheat beer mixed with pineapple and vanilla. The tasting room doesn’t serve its own food but will let you BYO, so make sure to pick up sustenance before you go—El Alebrije makes a stellar takeout burrito, or order a pizza from Poppi’s and they’ll deliver it to your bar stool." - regan stephens, candis mclean, sydney mcelwee

Been wanting to try this place for some time. We love trying new beers. We finally decided to stop by and we were all blown away. We all got flights and every beer was amazing. Excellent service, the owners were amazing and so proud of what they were brewing. We are always happy to support great owners who obviously love what they do. Will be back soon. So easy to head to the most popular places, do not sleep on stopping by here. We are so glad we did.

My absolute favorite in Cape May County! Owners/staff were very welcoming, knowledgeable and friendly. I thoroughly enjoyed our conversations! The taproom is an awesome environment, perfectly laid out and decorated. I LOVE the green everywhere, even on the brewing equipment. Not a bad brew in the bunch, and their slushies are pretty amazing too. The hopped-up pretzels were definitely a hit! If you haven't been to this gem of a brewery, you're missing out. The only brewery I hit twice on my trip, and I can't wait to go back! Cheers🍻

Stopped in during our annual Bike & Brew ride from Lewes, DE, last Thursday with 26 riders. Beers and service were great! The Wah Wah Butterscotch Ale and the Birch Beer were unusual but so very good. Thanks for inviting us… see you again next year and keep up the good work!

Great place to hang out and have a few beers. If you knocked me out and I woke up here, I would never guess I was in a beach town. There are no windows really, but it gives it a real "buddy's home bar" feel(but bigger), which is a good thing. The two people working(I think the owners) were fantastic and friendly. They have some interesting beverages and encouraged us to try anything we wanted. I could have hung out there all day. They also sell prepackaged pretzels and popcorn as well has homemade soft pretzels. I had a few beers and a seltzer, all were very tasty.

Son and I were in the day before Thanksgiving, even though I think they were supposed to be closed as per their website. We were all but the only ones there, definitely the only tourists. The bartender offered suggestions and was spot on with the beers he offered. I’m not sure if the others there, three people, were just regulars or the owners. We sat over three flights with good conversation between us all. The beers were excellent to put it mildly, in other words, fantastic. Thanks folks for a great experience, we’ll be returning.

I may have came for Morey’s Pier, but Angelsea Aleworks swept me away before I could even reach the boardwalk. Their friendly staff greeted me at the farmers market that’s right down the street from this location. I was offered a fraction of their menu and was invited to come check out their tap room when they opened for the day. Their selection includes a beverage for everyone. To the average beer drinker, the IPA connoisseur, and even your date who likes something on the sweeter side. I recommend grabbing a couple of flights, kicking back with your friends and listening to the music while you enjoy your beer in Wildwood!

Awesome, new spot in Wildwood! A little bit of everything, and the selection is very tasty. The Butterscotch Stout was sweet and more like a red ale than a stout! The Cream Ale is very easy and smooth, and with two styles of IPA, there's something for everyone!

Yelp

Yelp
Having never been to Wildwood, we of course had to Yelp breweries. Anglesea caught our eye due to having seltzers and hard sodas. We arrived mid day on a Wednesday and the place was surprisingly steady (good sign). We each picked a different flight of 4 beers ($12). My personal favorite was the Sicilian lemon water ice! In fact, it is the best seltzer I've ever had, hands down. They also have hard birch beer, which was good and a hard iced tea - also good. I even took a can of the lemon water ice with me ($6). If we are ever in wildwood again, we'll be back!

Yelp
WILDWOOD: Of course, our first official destination on our trip had to be a brewery and we really enjoyed Anglesea Aleworks! Leashed dogs are allowed in their tasting room anytime. We enjoyed the Hubie Hefewiezen, Cooler Corn Cream Ale, Stacy Sour, and the Hard Birch Beer. There are over 12 beers on tap with some standards and rotating seasonal options. The indoor tasting room is spacious with bar seating and high-top barrels. There are TVs to watch the game, an art wall featuring customer drawings, and the sounds of the bowling alley from right above. The noise did not bother Brie, but may not be great for some dogs. This place opened in 2023 and has fun events like live music, name that tune, happy hour, food trucks, and an upcoming Halloween party on 10/28.

Yelp
Stopped here on a whim during Labor Day weekend. Just so happened to be karaoke and Jimmy Buffet Day! Whole place had a great vibe. Absolutely loved Colonel Seapig. Place was packed and the staff maintained an attentive happy attitude. Can't wait to come back.

Yelp
Recently opened, Anglesea Aleworks is a pleasant addition to Wildwood. I'm visiting off season, and I was pleasantly surprised to find them buzzing with the excitement. It's located in a somewhat older commercial building, but there's parking. Wildwood has a funky vibe, and Anglesea Aleworks is no exception. I like all the colors and laid-back decor. I tried the Haze Mat IPA, and it was delicious. It's nice seeing a brewery get it right so soon. They are more of a tasting room brewery. You can tell they're a hard working small business. If you're in Wildwood for the summer, and you need something to do either on a rainy day or in the evening after the beach, feel free to try them out.

Yelp
We love it there! Everyone is so nice that works there! The Hard Birch Beer is awesome. All of there

Yelp
Best brewery around! Not only are their beers tasty, but the staff is amazing! They do not serve food, but you can order and have food delivered or bring something with you. And, on select days they do have food trucks as well.

Yelp
Gotta say this place is wonderful. Staff is super friendly and they have beers for any taste preference. Music trivia is a fun addition to already great brewery. Happy hour specials with the wheel are super fun and a good way to try new styles. Can't say enough good things about this place, just a cool place to hang.

Jessica H.

Yelp
We tried A LOT of their beers and enjoyed each and every one of them. Really appreciated the casual vibe and the good service!

Yelp
A great new craft brewery! Flavor, fun, friendly! Brewed with variety and vibrancy! Don't miss it! Behind the bowling alley! Bowl a couple games and relax at the brewery after! Keep it local!

Yelp
Recently visited Anglesea Aleworks for the first time and will definitely be back! We were greeted right when we walked in by the bartender. I forget her name but she was very nice, friendly, and engaged with the customers at the bar. Mike (one of the owners) took the time to talk to us about the beers and the process of making them. They have such a variety of beer and even have a seltzer which is awesome! I loved the bright green and decor around. They even have parking which is a plus. Overall great place with super nice people working there. It's a hidden gem. Go visit, you won't be disappointed!

Yelp
Friendly people with unique beer, potted plants and couches all over to lounge and enjoy!
