This was my first time staying at Angleterre Hotel, and I was there for business. I thoroughly enjoyed my time at the hotel. The location is excellent, close to all activities. The rooms were spacious, beautifully appointed, and equipped with good amenities. The operations team, the housekeeping team, the concierge team, and the F&B team went above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay. I will definitely choose The Angleterre Hotel again the next time I'm in Saint Petersburg.

Ranking this hotel at 5 stars only, everything from the beginning to the end was just perfect, but the most amazing here is their staff, I haven’t seen that guest treatment anywhere I’ve ever been visiting. Service is 11 out of 10, and maybe rooms are not the fanciest on the market, but their price is adjusted accordingly, so you get the best for what you pay. I’ve even asked their staff names, so I can be more appreciative to them, so now I know all of them and they know me by my name even if I stay there once a year:) special gratitude I want to express towards their team leader Varvara, who is highly skilled professional that is very rare on the market nowadays, she solved so many of my problems, even helped me with my personal problems by giving advice where to go and what to by for my friends birthday, she helped me to order flowers for my friends and you will never get that kind of serve in any 4 stars hotel, anywhere in the world. So now, no other hotels exist for me in Saint Petersburg. Thank you guys.

The hotel does not live up to its stated status. Despite the 4 stars, prices here are slightly cheaper than in Astoria, but in Astoria it is much better and tastier. The rooms are old and quite dirty. It’s better to pay a bit more money and stay in Astoria. Very disappointing experience. |There was no renovation in this hotel, all the doors were broken, the walls were shabby.|So it’s better to go to Astoria!

Amazing historic hotel in the heart of the city!||We spend two nights in this beautiful hotel and we will be back again 100%. The location is amazing, it is situated in the heart of the city and all the sights and the best restaurants will be just a few minutes by foot. ||Special thanks to Margarita on reception for giving us a room with a beautiful view for our anniversary and for the free very early check-in 🙏||All the stuff was very friendly and the standarts was high. ||The view in the cafe on the first floor is stunning.||Thanks to the hotel management for presenting us a bottle of champagne on ice with fruits, it was such a surprice and nicely. ||Overall great experience and certanly one of the best hotel we have ever beeb in Russia❤️||Mike and Vickey

I had stayed in this hotel for a couple of nights back in September and it was recommended by a friend of mine. I arrived early in the morning and did not expect to have the room ready, thus was pleasantly surprised, when I was able to get into my room by 10am already. The room had a fantastic view to the Cathedral and felt cozy. All necessities were provided.||Breakfast was good with a nice and healthy selection and service was prompt and polite. ||The hotel is in walking distance to major tourist attractions and therefore very conveniently located.||I would overall recommend the hotel due to the location and friendliness of the staff.

Me and my husband had a pleasure to stay in Angletere hotel last week. Hotel location is amazing- just in front of Isaac Cathedral. It is very close to famous city attractions such as Palace Square, Bronze Horseman and Nevskiy street. The hotel is historical, but facilities are quite fresh. Hotel staff is very polite and cleaning in the room was done very properly. |There is also one very nice point it is Restaurant “schastie” right on the hotel corner with amazing cathedral view and tasty breakfasts. |We will be happy to choose the hotel once again.

Location is as good as it can be, all the best attractions, restaurants around. Very clean, amazing staff, the history, spa, food. I also enjoyed Astroria which is 1 of the best hotels and shares all facilities by your card Nothing, it’s amazing experience

The only good thing about the hotel is the location... Rooms are not being cleaned properly.. floors are always dusty and dirty, towels are very old.. In general the hotel needs to be renovated, but they don't do anything. they also take 10k deposit which they can only refund after few days. Will see if I will get it back at all. Really old furniture, bed is uncomfortable.
