Angry Boy Burger (Drive thru)

It was my first time at angry boy burgers they have a good variety of food choices from breakfast to brunch to lunch. I had ordered a cheeseburger combo it came out to around 13 bucks. The food was delicious and well cooked and hot. The vegetables used in the burger are very fresh and the beef that they use in the patties is thin well cooked and seasoned and their fries are good too and big. They have a small lobby around 40 people fit in there there are 5 tables per table fit 4 people and 1 table is made for 1 couple. On the outside they got the round table with the umbrellas they look nice but it was a windy day so The umbrellas were getting disorganized by the wind. Outside seating areas around 4 tables that fit 4 people per table. I was overall attended really fast and waited around 15 minutes for my food. The restaurant was clean from the inside. Their soda machine needed to be restocked on syrup for someone to drinks but overall there's soda machine works perfectly fine and dispenses clean ice good too. It was a bit hot inside I don't know if their AC was working? They have a male and female restroom in the back of the restaurant outside and they have a drive-thru or they offer multiple different delivery services. they also accept EBT at this location. Overall I did enjoy my experience and I would definitely come back with good company and eat here again.

I want to thank Iriam,Andrea,and Victor for the amazing service.They made us feel at home ,confortable,the fresh food, the place is clean also the taco stand it is nice and clean the tortas are delicious.The chicken salad is my #1, turkey sandwich, this is my #1 restaurant I will definitely recommend this place to friends and family .You guys come and enjoy the amazing food and service you wont regret it.

First time going today,had the pancakes and eggs. The pancakes where good really like them with sausages. Eggs I ordered sunny side up , cooked fine only probably there was no salt r pepper, other than that no complaints. Also ordered menudo for work later, they make ever day, served till it's gone. All was good will definitely be going back!!

The bacon omelette was pretty disappointing. It was like the egg was fried with bacon strips dropped in the middle. With a lot of cheese. Now the egg and the cheese flavor was excellent. Their texture was right. I would say it was a little too much cheese and a huge problem with a lump of cheese with bacon bits sticking out of it. Also the bacon texture was terrible. It was hard and seemed like it was premade before The Omelette was put together and maybe was sitting out the bread which I got. Wheat had nice texture but I wasn't giving butter or jelly The star of the show was the hash browns which had great texture and flavor. If I were to improve this $14 omelette, I would have some vegetables, peppers, onions, something besides egg, cheese and bacon It just seems very limited. I think honestly the omelet would have been better with the bacon on the side and why the big lump of cheese in the middle of the omelette.

First time here , I appreciate the friendliness of the employee at the counter. Took the time to explain how their food is always made fresh to order , not pre made or frozen. Most employees won't even bother to ask how your day is going. Quesadillas were amazing , we will definitely be back to try the other items on the menu . Appreciate the quick and good service

I appreciate the service and the friendliness of the employee but this food is no good. The ingredients are fresh, portion is big. But it is sooooo blaaaand. I got a "smash" burger which did look like a very regular generic burger. Thick sliced onions (gross), well done patty with no juice, no seasoning. Just bland. Like come on guys, put some soul in your food. Have you tried it yourself? If so - you have a very low standards. I noticed one thing - if you see on the menu a generic looking burger - the food will be bland. Idk maybe they have better breakfast or melts or anything else. But my combo was so bland I just threw the entire thing in the trash can. Not recommended

This HIT THE SPOT!!! I honestly thought this was one of the Hot (spicy) Burger places since it has the name Angry. But that must be me overthinking. I went with the Avocado Bacon Burger! made to order and was delicious. Lettuce was fresh. Bacon was crisps. And avocado was big chunks. Fries were very well season. But this place might be a one spot shop. Not craving burgers? They have burritos!! Don't want burritos? They have soup. Don't want soup? Well....go in there and see what you want. You'll definitely order something. Ketchup in the fridge! YES!!! In my house it's kept outside the fridge. Ketchup tasted fresh.

Stumbled upon Angry Boy on Vanowen Street while driving home and I’m glad I did! I ordered the Avocado Bacon Cheeseburger and it was spot on. The bacon was perfectly crispy, the lettuce was fresh, and most importantly—the bun wasn't soggy at all. One heads-up for solo drivers: the drive-thru is set up a bit 'backwards.' You have to lean over the passenger seat to pay and grab your food, which is a little tricky if you're alone, but the food made it worth the reach

Went and purchased 2 bacon avocado Cheeseburgers over the weekend and they were fire Chicken tenders where very crispy as well Great customer service by Anthony who helped me with my order Would definitely recommend this location to my friends and family within the community

Angry Boy Burgers is family-owned. I love that. They are fast food, sort of. All of it is great. They are one of those little places that has it all from Breakfast to Dinner and Mexican food on top of that. The place is super clean, not very big, and most people use take away, or delivery. The service is friendly and fast. They seem to care about you and they always get my order right. I personally love their breakfast, pancakes, eggs and bacon--yum. Their Mexican food is super. They make a great burrito. Their burgers are excellent. There is not one thing they have that I don't enjoy. It is a great place for a reasonably prices meal.

Pricey for something so meh. Eggs are eggs, bacon is bacon. 9am and they had run out of waffle and pancake mix.

Stopped by for a good burger and was not disappointed. This place has changed hands a few times but I think this restaurant may be here to stay. I ordered a double cheeseburger with pastrami and when they handed me the bag, the aroma filled the car. That burger was so good, it was, as my son put it, gone too soon! Drive through was quick and with a smile, however the inside looks pretty clean and chill so when I return after the holidays, I may dine inside.

Staff is nice. Parking is provided at this fast food spot with a drive thru. Pricing and portions are as expected. Food is better than many chain spots. 3.5 stars that I will round up given how fresh everything was.

Nice lil spot in the valley to get burgers or burritos! The service is excellent and the ambiance is very family orientated! I ordered an angry burger and my lady ordered a burrito both of which are delicious!

So I went to this place the other night with my grandson and daughter I was really craving me a chili burger so I got one with onion rings and let me just say it was delicious absolutely delicious and the young man that was over at his name is Anthony very good customer service very loving and welcoming and kind I give it thumbs up one to 1010

I saw this place as I drove by and decided to check them out (I'm glad I did). Their menu selection is vast, I ordered my favori food, pork chop dinner, it comes with 3 decent sized pork chops, French fries, 4 onion rings, Hamburger buns and a choice of either soda or salad, I chose soda. The Pork chop was cooked the way I like them, I put one of the pork chop into the buns and made a pork chop sandwich, the fries and onion rings were crispy and delicious. Food was prepared fresh so it took them about 10 minutes to prepare. The service was friendly and professional. The dining area was kept clean, they have 5 4-chair tables indoor and a 2-chair table, they have 3 bench tables with umbrellas outside. They also have a drive-thru service, they have plenty of parking space in the back. I would highly recommend this place, I will be back to try out their other dishes.

*will update with photos soon* This place is delicious! I know it's "fast food" but I'd compare it to In-N-Out vs McDonald's. It's clearly made fresh to order, not frozen. Highly recommend the milkshakes, burgers, zucchini fries and breakfast burritos! I will say that the building is old school so the pick up window is on the passenger side of the car, it's easier when you have another person with you or to go inside!

All right everyone! The Angry Boy Burger is definitely worth stopping at if you're on the run. The food is above average and for the most part it's made to order. I've been there two times when I've been rushing around town. It's fairly priced and a square meal. They have numerous options and offerings. I'm not a big fan of the zucchini fries as they seem like they had freezer burn. The regular fries are not bad. The service is very friendly and efficient. As far as the ambiance goes it is neat and clean and what you would expect. Given that they have breakfast, lunch and dinner I'm sure you will find something you like.

Growing up in the hood, Long Beach, Compton area, we always had the good burger spots like Louis Burgers, Tams, Fantastics, Petes etc. In the Valley, these places are non - existant, until today. Angry Boy Burger has popped up outta nowhere for me. The burger here has that same traditional charbroiled flavor, good onion, cheese, and amazing 1000 island spread taste. Been searching for a place like this around here for almost a decade. Other burger joints are great, but this is as good as you're gunna get for that charbroiled burger taste. I live a couple cities over, having to drive on the 118 to get here, and I'll do it again. Easily going to be a once a week deal.

Angry Boy is new to the van nuys area, I'm pretty sure they took over Chuy's Tacos so they have some big shoes to fill! Inside is very clean with only bar seating facing the wall, outside had about 3 tables and a drive thru. Ordered: Tam's Super Burger, which comes with Bacon and avocado, plus lettuce tomato etc. I asked for an extra patty cause I was hungry, and it was worth it. The burger was very juicy and had nice char, reminded me of Fosters or Daglas(ehhh almost) but definitely recommend their burgers. Fries were okay, some were seasoned some weren't, some were soggy, some were stale, and some were good. Not sure if they mix new fries with old fries, that may not be best idea tho Taquitos were what had me debating if this is a 3 or 4 star review... not sure if they're house made but they looked and tasted like frozen Jose Olé taquitos which isn't necessarily horrible but not great either.. Overall just come for a burger

My gooooooosh. Ok so my pregnant butt has been craving a burger, but not just any type of burger. One that is from a mom and pop shop. People!!!!!! This is THE place! It's fairly new but wow the foot traffic here is busy but quick. The seating inside is small but honestly it's no big deal, they have more seating outside. Fries are great, crispy on the outside fluffy on the inside. The bun isn't oily and it has a really good light sweet taste, not like Hawaiian bread but like what a burger bun should expect to taste like. I ordered the avo burger....my little one and I loved it. Patty was cooked well done, lettuce and tomatoes were fresh, the avo was greatly spread but not to the point where it falls out of the bun, I HATE THAT. Oh yea I comes with pickles too (sorry not much of a fan of pickles). I will definitely come again and I recommend you try this place out!

Ordered the sausage breakfast burrito. The burrito was good portion the flavor was good it did lack sausage protein so it did not live up to its name. We also ordered the asada taco it was not good at all the meat did not have flavor and mostly fat. The tortilla was colder than a room temperature soda. The green salsa was watered down with little flavor but the red salsa had good spice and flavor. We also ordered the French toast breakfast plate that was good fluffy French toast and crispy bacon. We will give them another shot for the breakfast items only.

Chilli cheese friend are bad, 1-5 I give them a 2 Chicken club was flavor less 1-5 I give them 2 I will try again their bRKfst and maybe I'll change my review overall.

Pork chop (comes with salad or a drink) was very tasty! Happy to have a place close by that serves good food. People were nice and the place was clean. Lots of parking in the back.

There's a new restaurant that just opened up in Van Nuys. I call it a restaurant as opposed to a Burger joint as the name might suggest. But as you can see from the photograph of the menu that I took, it provides much much more selection then just your typical hamburgers fries and drinks. As this was my first time going here, I asked for a suggestion on their best burger. They recommended the signature Burger which was a fully loaded Burger with bacon and avocado. It did not disappoint. It was very delicious and quite big. A meal in itself. The french fries were decent. Probably better if I had heated them up again when I got home. The onion rings were on the thinner side and very crispy. My preference are those thicker cut onion rings but that's just me. I was very satisfied with my burger. I will be returning to try out their other menu options, especially the pastrami sandwich. It also has a convenient drive-thru. I'm giving this 5 stars because in it's category, it's really good. I definitely recommend this place and I hope that it does well for many years to come.

Good food/service. Got the bacon burger because burgers in the name, they use more of a gourmet thin patty. Still tasty. One portion of onion rings is enough to feed 2-3 people, great taste as well.

First time! Yes! It is good! Pastrami sandwich is really good! The meat is not too thin nor too thick! Perfectly prepared and cooked! I ordered over the phone, he was very nice! Even at the store when picked them up he was very friendly and took care of everything prepared well. Thanks!

These burgers were so amazing. Also my 3 year old who is so picky with his food devoured this burger. They also gave him a little scoop of ice cream just to be kind. Ordered chicken wet burrito and upon getting home and eating my food I realized they gave me an asada burrito which I do not eat asada at all.... I immediately got food poisoning. I called to let the staff know to be more careful and that I understand mistakes happen. There was no compassion or sincerity with the person I spoke with.

Ive gotten bacon burger and tacos here. I liked the burger! The customer service is good too. My mom got the tacos and liked them. I bought the tacos for her and damn it was just two but the bag felt really heavy lolll so good portion sizes ALSO the prices are really good!! gonna come here more instead of the big chains which are more expensive. HOW does that make sense. Shop small. This place is really good from what ive experienced

I'm going to piggy back off another person's review... If you grew up inland eating Gus', Angelo's, golden ox, etc...and miss the taste of a good fricken burger off a grill...go here. Please. It was so good eating a steak sandwich and fried Zucchini that remind me of home. I've been searching all over the valley for this taste and finally found it.

Tried this place for the first time cuz they have Orange Bang drink and most fast food places don't. I was also craving breakfast burrito since I haven't eaten breakfast and lunch. The other plus is they have a drive thru, I hate getting out my car. I actually went to the drive thru the wrong way haha. I just turned around. Food took a bit, maybe 8 minutes cuz they make it fresh. I got the chorizo breakfast burrito. It was good and it came with red and green salsa on the side. No issues with service. I'd come back. This place used to be several different Mexican restaurant but none of them lasted. Maybe this business might stick around cuz they serve a variety of food and they have a drive thru.

This is a good store but nothing really special, and that's okay. The food was fine and the people were cool... what more do you want from this kind of place? If I'm in Van Nuys I will probably go back. The woman behind the counter was friendly and that's kind of refreshing. If you are in the area and want a nosh, give it a try.

I got the bacon cheeseburger and it was a decent size and very flavorful. It came with a lot of fries. Service was great. If you are hungry and looking for a filling meal, then this is the spot.

Really glad this place opened into the neighborhood. The burger was great. It was way better than in n out. I'm interested to try their other iterations. The cashier was friendly. I really hope it remains busy because I hope it sticks around. Fries were also pretty solid. Definitely would recommend and will be coming back.

Remember real char-broiled burgers, the kind with the burnt edges? Do you remember driving up and waiting because they were cooking your food in real time? Ever reminisce about walking in to a burger joint and salivating because the smell was so good? This place has it. These are the burgers of my childhood. There is a lot more on the menu; I've only tried the burgers and fries. But they took me down a time tunnel to happier days. Come to Angry Boy and taste the way a real burger should taste.

Great food, but the wait is ridiculous, so don't go if you're in a rush. I understand made to order takes some time, but the wait seems to be from insufficient staffing, I felt bad for the 1 employee having to handle everyones complaints about the wait.

Order Turkey & Angry super Burger they where both tasty, the patties was juicy. The fries however where not of my liking they where cut almost wedges side very soggy.

Also the chili cheese fries were not good chili tasted canned. We had to wait for awhile to even get out order

Went twice since opening. Great addition to the neighborhood. Classic style burgers and fries. Friendly service. The bacon avacado cheeseburgers go crazy! Craving one right now! Lots of space inside/outside to sit and enjoy.

I got a burger and fries from here, it's a good home made burger. Only waited at most 10 minutes to get our food. One thing though is the menu it's huge I have to try something different next time, maybe rib eye.

I saw this new place and decided to try it for breakfast. They have a huge menu which is cool. I got a ham breakfast burrito. I'm giving it 4 stars because it was a little too salty for me but otherwise it was good. I was also confused by the drive thru layout. Aside from that it was great. The guy who took my order was nice. I will be back to try other things!

Absolutely fire steak and pastrami sandwiches. My new go to spot in Van Nuys The ONLY thing that that bothered me was that my fries were perfectly seasoned but my boyfriend's fries were barely seasoned at all. Still the best fast food sandwiches I've probably ever had.

Wowskii I have to say, (satisfyingly delicious). My wife and I are just always exited about a BURGER JOINT.. we love us a good burger ,our new favorite spot seriously. Char Burgers in town now right up the street from where we live. Give it a go I'm telling you the burgers are bomb! Fries seasoned to perfection, it's a hit people. ! Next I'm trying the Pastrami no doubt! Service cashier young lady, outstanding with questions about the menu and answers to all. Love this place. You will too. Trust me, Ambience is clean and sanitized, out door sitting only but take it to go it's just as good ! can't wait to try breakfast here. In decades past, this location was a Taco Bell. Tried Angry Boy Burger today for the first time. Got a bacon cheeseburger combo. It was on the large side, and quite tasty! The beef was cooked well done on the char, and the fries were medium sized with light seasoning salt. The meal reminded me of a Fosters burger, but maybe even better. They have a substantial menu including Mexican food, and breakfast. Gotta swing by again to try something else.

Super good food and friendly service! I asked for modifications in a big order and they got everything correct and were super polite about it. Definitely coming back

I live a few blocks away and figured I should try it. Food was a little too expensive for my tastes and the Burger wasn't so great. I got Onion Rings instead of Fries and did enjoy them.

Everything we ordered was excellent--waffle combo with bacon and eggs, grilled cheese sandwich with fries. Surprising to see a small place with such a big menu. Service is friendly, and the men's room is clean! Will definitely return--often--and try other items on the menu. This place deserves to be a local hangout.

We were driving around and spotted this new place and got excited (it used to be a great fried taco place that closed last year sometime) We tried it it for dinner and LOVED it! We both ordered the special Tam's burger meal with fries and a drink. The drive thru is just a tad slow, but I think bc they haven't fully staffed up and worked it out yet. The burger is nice and big with fresh veggies and avocado - and prefect bacon. The 'medium' fries were HUGE and super tasty and very hot and fresh. We will definitely return to try the breakfast burritos and other offerings!!
