Angry Chickz offers incredibly delicious fried chicken that is both flavorful and perfectly cooked. The option to choose your preferred hot spicy level before ordering is a great feature. “Destiny, the staff member at the order counter, is always polite, respectful, and exceptionally friendly, making the dining experience even more enjoyable for her.”

I have been to this place several times. This is my opinion! Food: Always get the classic #1. It's consistent with the flavor profile. Service: mmmm. Not that much, it depends on the person behind the counter. Sometimes friendly and polite, other times just a no-smiling face. Will I go back? Yes! I like the combination of spice and sweetness.

Best chicken slider ever! I love their medium spicy but there's also no spice and extra spicy. You can even sign a waiver to get the spiciest if that's your favorite 🤪 their raspberry tea was soo good and cannot finish expressing how delicious this chicken sandwhich is. They have an option with fries and another option of the chicken with rice. Both options as really delicious. The manager is super nice n cool, we met him the first couple times we visited before they changed their restaurant name. Highly recommend this place!

Good food and big portions! Got the combo #3 and medium spicy was perfect. Comes with sauce, coleslaw, and pickles already on the slider. The Mac and cheese was good too. And nice employees!

Angry chickz was great. I got the mild slider and Mac and cheese. My brother and his gf got the fries and 2 chicken tenders and enjoyed them as well. To my surprise actually I liked this better than Dave’s hot chicken. Will be back once I’m back in LA area 🐓.

Howlin Ray's might be the best of the best, but Angry Chickz is the next best tasting without having to endure the Howlin Ray's line. The chicken is meaty af, seasoned to perfection, and the batter has the right amount of crunch without it feeling heavy. The seasoning on the fries are my favorite, reminds me of the fries when Dave's was hitting, except they're not crinkle cut (if Angry Chickz did crinkle cut, they might be the GOAT overall). The toast is reminiscent of Raising Cane's, and their comeback sauce is up there with Howlin's. I also remember having this tied with Dave's when Dave's was at its peak (when they had only one store). The fact that Angry Chickz has been consistent all this time is really impressive, especially since Dave's has significantly gone down in quality since franchising. Since you asked, here's why AC is my pound for pound champ: Howlin Ray's - the line, can't UberEats Dave's - the quality is no longer there Bangin Buns - fries are meh Hawaiian - Too crunchy, overly seasoned (salty) Kluckin - Weird chicken batter, fries are phenomenal tho

It's super Fried food., it's definitely not for health conscious individuals but young kids, teenagers love their food.,,so I rated as MAYBE because it all depends on who is eating., but I certainly won't eat here on a monthly basis, Maybe once in a blue moon when nothing else is available.

Delicious! Two sliders and fries for $17 is a great deal! Shared it with a friend and it was a perfect afternoon snack. We tried no spicy and one mild and both have their distinct vibes and both were tasty! The fries and sauce were also delicious. Well balanced sandwich and on par with other tasty and reliable fried chicken sandwiches but not quite in the upper echelon of fried chicken sandos. The vibes and playlist in the place were excellent and my man behind the counter was SUPER friendly and really had a great energy so shoutout to him and the other woman working there today. My guy put a pickle on top of the non spicy one to make it clear and I gotta say that's genius! I was going to give 4/5 for overall but I'm changing to 5/5 bc I had a great sandwich, great company, and good vibes and service!

This was by far one of the best mac & cheese, chicken bowls I've ever had. I had it on medium heat, and it wasn't really that spicy, though in my opinion.

When I say I love spicy food and ask for hot this is what I'm talking about! I got their hangry fix & make it hot please :) it comes with Mac n cheese , Cole slaw and rice! It was sooo good 10/10 ! They have other options too combo #3 comes with fries and two chicken tenders, but you can substitute it for a chicken sandwich! Love it!!

Not too many people and places can get hot chicken right, however Angry Chickz knows what they are doing. The tenders were the perfect spice like I asked (which is so difficult for certain places to get right) they were juicy and tender and man did they taste good. The rice, pickles and slaw paired perfectly with the tenders and it was just right. The people working there were very nice and informative with the menu. The decorations in the place are pretty cool looking and it's clean. I would recommend this place highly it's very close to Dave's as a comparison.

Was in the area last Sunday and my son who's into trying any chicken tenders or sandwich found this on yelp so he said we should have some to go so he can eat it on the way home. We got here closer to 4pm, there's parking in the back so it was easy to get to. Dining area was empty, there was a just a group seated outside. The restaurant has enough seats inside and outside so that dining in will be convenient so I would think they are probably busy most days. My son ordered the combo 1 which comes with coleslaw, chicken sliders (mild spice level) and ordered extra Mac and cheese. I got just the chicken sandwich and took the coleslaw my son has and I have to say that the chicken held up really well when I ate it at home 30 mins after. The spice level is just right for me - I ordered medium - just the right heat. Chicken was tender and moist. Having tried so many other chicken sandwiches my son said this one was better than Dave's hot chicken. He can definitely have it again but we will probably try the one nearby. Didn't know they had one in the valley.

Customer service was great super friendly gal. I ordered a Mac/chicken/fry bowl. If you're lactose intolerant don't eat the Mac and cheese. It was delicious and worth the pain. The bowl was a big portion easily shareable. 5/5 for sure

3.5 stars. Overall I liked the chicken sandwich here. I didn't think it was amazing, but it's solid. I wouldn't go out of my way to come back but I wouldn't say no to coming back if someone else wanted to come.

I'll give the benefit of the doubt, otherwise I might show up on r/woosh. Does angry chickz also have angry employees? Some guy named Jose had a massive attitude when taking our order. Restaurant was a bit dirty and there is no A/C so it was really hot inside. Other than that the food was pretty good and the chicken was juicy. This food is ACTUALLY spicy so beware.

Used to be good organized spot and we would set $100 order at least once a month. I placed $140 order today, 30 minutes later i come to pick up they say someone already picked up. In short, they gave the order to wrong person and tried to convince me that one of my people picked up. At the end they made it, but lost 30 minutes on a rush day. Last time here.

Wow !! Great food , if you like spicy this is the place. The staff is friendly and helpful. They are great at gauging how hot is too hot . It's a small place , easy to miss . If you can't find street parking not to worry there is parking behind the restaurant.

I've tried Howlin' Ray's, Dave's Hot Chicken, and Angry Chickz. If I were to rate each of these places SOLELY based on taste (of the chicken and not anything else), I'd give Howlin' a 10, Angry Chickz a 9.5, and Dave's an 8. Service wise, Dave's takes the win, but Howlin' is a close second. Accessibility wise, Dave's wins by default cus it has the most locations and stays open the latest depending on the location you go to. Wait wise, Angry Chickz takes the win. Parking wise, I've never had an issue finding a spot at Angry Chickz. If I were to compare these places based on sides, then Angry Chickz has my vote because their cole slaw, pickles, mac n cheese, and buttery rice are FIRE! Plus, I don't like bread (which is why I mainly stick to tenders), so the fact that they offer rice is a complete game changer. Fries from all three places are equally good. Other than flavor, 2 reasons why Howlin' Ray's has an advantage over the other two: 1) It travels slightly better than the other two (I've dined in and ordered take out from all 3 places) 2) For Angry Chickz and Dave's, if you order anything above medium or hot, the flavor significantly goes down and the spice overpowers the taste. However, with Howlin', I've ordered every spice level on the spectrum (even howlin', which put me in pain for 3.5 days), and as spicy as the food may have been,I was still always able to taste the flavor. But anyway, I'll say this. If I were doing take out, I'd choose Howlin over Angry Chickz. If I were dining in, it'd just be a coin toss between the two. Or I'd choose based on the wait time for each place.

Came from a long drive to order food for family. Needed to use the bathroom badly before I ordered the old guy cooking food wouldn't offer me the code until I first ordered food. I asked if I can use bathroom before ordering he refused. Never coming here again. Rude service.

Sorry but the public notices changes as I read your reviews. This was my go to chicken spot since it opened. I tell everyone to go there ..not daves or copycats.. Unfortunately I walked in the other day only to leave without eating. My simple request to put my coleslaw on the side turned into them wanting to charge me $4 EXTRA...All I wanted was the slaw I was already paying to be put on the side. The staff in this place was the greatest. Now all new staff - in order to keep your existing customers your new staff still should be hospitable and make easy accommodation. Maybe owners have changed....None of the staff is the same. I walked out and didnt eat....imagine the amount of customers they turn off that dont come back and dont write review. Eventually gross sales and net profit will decline. Miss your chicken.

On the search for a really good chicken sandwich and this place was pretty close. The chicken was perfectly seasoned, crispy and delicious. The portions were pretty big too! I didn't really care for how the fries tasted unfortunately. When we came, their card machine was down so they only took cash at that time. No worries, we had cash on us thankfully. Service was OK, they were super personable but regardless, we got our food. All in all, the chicken sandwich was pretty freaken good.

The "Loaded Mac" is loaded with flavor and the mix of the mac with the chicken and fries with a little honey on top is out of this world!

Very tasty hot chicken sandwich. I got the medium, and it was just right for me. The fries were good, but not the crinkle fries shown in some photos. Fine by me. I want to go back and try the other sides. Parking in back was easy at 11 AM on a Tuesday.

I loved the taste and would eat for a while but after some time the fries were always cold and mushy. Fully stopped going when I found a long grey hair in my slider, don't think I can go back for some time. Flavor is very good though, especially with honey but they're very stingy on the amount of packets you get. Same with the sauce

We were riding along the route of the cicLAvia bicycle event and I spotted this place and pulled over. I ordered the chicken tenders sandwich combo that included fries. My brother and I love hot chili so I took a chance and ordered the Call 911 level ghost chili. I can tell you one thing they are not lying about the heat of that chili the food was delicious and this chili level made my brother cry and my nose was running, so beware of this before ordering.

Very tasty, BUT they use peanut oil ------------------------ This was an excellent pick me up after a rough day at work. Highlights: - there is a parking lot behind the store. Can enter on Hollywood boulevard - they have outdoor seating - they take Apple Pay - the person working at the front counter was pretty helpful in helping me decide what to get - the medium spice was a great balance of heat. Add some honey and some house sauce, and you got yourself a tasty dinner! Lowlight: - they use peanut oil. Yes, I understand that it makes things tastier, with a richer aroma. BUT BEWARE- if anyone has peanut allergy, they CANNOT Eat here. Maybe just use canola oil?

Got combo #1 and it was delicious! Medium heat was satisfyingly hot enough for me, fries were tasty, and the sauce was great. Was nice and quiet when I got there but can get busy when the local high schools let out. There is indoor and outdoor seating available. Order took about 12 minutes to be ready but I had time to spare. Definitely stopping by again in the future to try their loaded mac.

Another cheat day another excuse to try a new Hot Chicken spot. I saw a lot of hype around Angry chickz so we decided to order from here. There was mention of it being really busy so we decided to order over the phone for pick up. It was pretty busy once we got there and parking is not that great.... I got my go to One chicken tender and one chicken sandwich. Sadly my bf ordered for me and he forgot to ask if they offered cheese I got no spice because duhh. Our friend however got the same combo and he ordered mild he said it was a bit too spicy for him. This is coming from someone from Texas who loves chili lol So to the food. In all honesty we ok. Nothing stood out to me. The coleslaw was good, love that it was crunchy. The chicken was juicy but i didn't like the overkill with the chili powder. Fries were alright and their side sauce reminded me of Dave's. My bf got the Mac n cheese and he didn't care for it. We may or may not return...

My friend and I took a trip to LA while we were in CA this past March and we were really hungry after our Warner Bro's Tour. We found Angry Chickz and saw amazing reviews so we decided to give it a try! ORDER: Combo #1 shared between two people. REVIEW: Its been half a year since coming here and my friend and I STILL talk about how delicious this place was. What a jewel! I got light spice and my friend got no spice. The light spice was just enough for me to have a good kick and was still so delicious. What really made the difference was when I went up to the counter to get some napkins and the employee manning the station told me to put their honey on the chicken. I was a bit skeptical but GEE WHIZ what a difference it made absolutely incredible! If you're in LA, you have to check this place out. Not to mention, the workers were incredibly nice and explained everything to us tourists.

Awesome customer service! The guys working here were so friendly which made our visit all the better! The Mac and cheese was alright, but the chicken sandwiches were delicious. Of course that's what everyone comes here for, the chicken. I liked how they would crisp up one side of the bun, adds a little crunch. The sauce they add really complements the sandwich. Used that as dipping sauce for my fries too. This review is from my visit before all the restaurants shut down.

Parking is not too bad, metered and able to find. They were done quick with food I couldn't put it down. Different levels of spice . Chicken wasn't hard very tender. Will definitely be coming back. Cooks were very nice and personable. Everything taste fresh.

Ordered on the website for takeout and the store was just closed. No sign of anything haven't even been able to get a refund because the number is disconnected.

Food: I ordered the combo #3, which comes with a tender topped with pickles on top of a piece of bread and one slider. The slider is one tender and some slaw between two pieces of hamburger buns. I wish the slider would be a different size of chicken such as a chicken breast and have more of a meat to bun ratio. I ordered medium and it definitely had a kick. Medium isn't for those who don't like spicy! The seasoning isn't just all heat, but also carries its own flavor and salt. The chicken is tender and juicy. Also, the fries are so good! They are salted enough, but seasoned enough as well. I wasn't a fan of the sauce. It is mostly mayo that didn't have taste. Service: I called ahead and they took down my order. When arriving, I picked up my order and the workers weren't really engaging. She told me there is extra sauce and honey to help myself to. When I looked into my bag, there wasn't any napkins or fork, so I had to get my own. Small things like not providing napkins, etc. go a long way toward customer service. Overall, I think ~$14 is steep for only two chicken tenders and fries. The chicken tenders aren't the biggest, so in terms of bag for your buck, your dollar doesn't go too far here. If it was cheaper, or they provided another tender, then it would be worth the price. My advice, slide another tender in that slider.

I placed an online order and didn't realize it was placed at this location instead of the location I wanted to pickup in Orange County. I called and asked if they could cancel it because I obviously cannot pick it up when it's over 50 miles away but they refused and said there's nothing for them to do. I'm very upset on how this is allowed.

If your into spicy chicken sliders aka chicken sandwiches or straight up chicken fingers then your in luck. Medium spicy has a minor kick but you can ramp up your taste buds by ordering extra spicy to get your tongue flapping. Btw the bread portion is freshly made and tasty with pickles and fries. I got the #1 which came with two sliders and fries which I think is the best combo. We also got the #2, #4 combo the angry fries and Mac n cheese. I think next time I'm here I'll get the #4 with the buttery rice and two chicken fingers and the highest heat and sign the waiver. The place is clean and sodas are refillable. Parking is in the back or across the street.

I like spicy food, and if you tell me an item is hot, it bloody well better be hot. I'd much rather you warn me and then make me hurt than warn me and serve me some diluted sriracha mayo foolishness that has no kick. Well.... I was warned. I walked in for dinner at midnight, hungry and half asleep and somehow entirely missed the section of the menu that explains the heat levels. The guy asked how hot I wanted it and I responded "If I cry then you win". He asked if I was sure and I smirked and said yes. When he served me my Combo #3 he asked if I wanted plastic gloves and I thought "Homie, I know I'm white but did you think I was 6 year old girl??!!" I would regret that arrogance. The meal I had here is without question the hottest thing I've ever eaten. And I can say that with confidence because my body responded in a way it never has before. In fact in a way that I never knew was possible before. I'd had spicy food burn my mouth and make my head sweet and give me the hiccups. Having spicy food burn my booty on the way out just comes with the territory but I have never eaten anything that was so spicy that it made it hurt when I peed!!! I was stunned. I was in pain. If I wasn't a dude who was happily married and faithful for years I would have been concerned. So there you have it. Angry Chickz serves food so hot you may think you have an STD. Unreal.

Well deserved 5 stars . Friendly service and great food. Good deal for the buck too! I ordered the combo 4 but opted for the Mac instead of cole slaw. The chicken was amazing some of the best Nashville style chicken I've had I got mine mild but has just the right amount of kick. The butter rice that comes with it is so plain but so good!! The Mac is awesome too . Everything is solid and well prepared . Well done Angry Birdz!!

The best of the "Hot Chicken" joints that I have tried in LA. The chicken tenders are crispy and tasty without being overwhelmingly hot (although you can choose that as an option). The combo (the #,4 I believe) with Rice, Slaw and Pickles is a nice balance of flavors, reduced fat -and good portions. The staff is usually fast and considerate, but I notice they gets busy around 5 pm (Thu, Fri & Sat) with pick-up for delivery services and you can end up waiting a bit. Try it and compare.

Solid fast food style hot chicken restaurant. I appreciate how the hot here is actually, hot. I opted for a hot chicken slider with fries and Mac and cheese. The slider is flavorful and comes with slaw but I did not taste any secret sauce. The secret sauce would've brought it up a notch. The chicken was also not crispy at all, which is how I normally enjoy my chicken sandwiches. The mac and cheese is creamy but tastes average. It does not taste home made. The fries are no longer crinkle fries but regular long fries. That being said, they're very crispy and enjoyable to eat! Service is fast and friendly so I have no complaints. For me, angry chickz above Dave's hot chicken but below cluck & blaze, chickz next door and howling rays
