Mega-Popular Burger Chain Shake Shack Will Pay $20,000 to Oakland Worker for Repeated Misgendering | Eater SF

"I saw that Angry Chickz, a Hollywood-based hot chicken chain founded in 2018, will open a Brentwood (East Bay) location on February 17, with the first 100 guests receiving free food and swag; after opening a San Jose spot in January, the chain is joining the Bay Area hot chicken bonanza alongside competitors such as Dave’s Hot Chicken, Birdbox, and Hotboys." - Paolo Bicchieri

The buttery rice has so little butter that it just takes like rice, and the man offered chicken sauce(a mix of ranch and mayo) when I asked him what kind of item should I order that goes well with the “butter” rice. Then he pressured me into saying that the butter rice is good with the chicken sauce. The Mac and cheese is flavorless, the chicken is worse than Safeways fried chicken and the fries aren’t than McDonald’s. Also the customer service was smirking at me and then tersely denying me with WiFi when I just asked if any were available to a customer. With the most uncomfortable chairs, nothing to look at for the shopping center during rush hours, I don’t know why anyone would order to dine in. Perhaps the interior design? Well it looks better from the photos than when presen5

10/10 comfort food! Ordered the: - #1: Two chicken sliders with slaw, pickles, and fries for $18 (HUGE portions, can easily feed 2 people, very worth the price and absolutely delicious) - Angry Mac: two chopped tenders over fries with mac & cheese and Angry Chickz sauce for $16 (probably one of the best comfort foods I've eaten, sauce was ravishing, would totally come back for this dish alone) Staff was very knowledgable and kind as well!

DO NOT GET THE RICE = 5 stars Call me crazy but the rice bowl was pretty horrible haha. But I'm here often so here we go3 A staple in my lunch rotation when I worked at Guitar Center Santa Clara Angry Mac is our typical go to but anything paired with the sweet tea (except the rice lol) will be a winner. Fast service. Dirty calories. 😂

I heard about Angry Chickz for a while now. It’s going to open in Fremont, which is where I live. Because it’s still closed, I decided to go to a nearest location which is in San Jose close to Westfield Valley Fair Mall. I have different takes when it comes to the food here. The fries are totally delicious especially with good seasonings they added to it and how crispy they are. The chicken meat unfortunately tastes like nothing, but you may want to dip it in the sauce to get the taste. The skin with the mild coatings tastes flavorful. The slider also makes up for that taste too. The atmosphere of this place is very similar to other chicken shops and I am quite surprised how fast the service is. I’m looking forward to dining the same establishment in Fremont soon!

Someone brought me a angry Mac bowl.. after trying it.. I was hooked! And I've been craving it. So I came to the one off Saratoga .. service was cool, they seem very busy which means it's good.. It's just the way the Mac and the coleslaw and the sauce.. chicken.. it's just so gooooood! If you're not a fan of coleslaw they have other options as well.. fries, sandwiches.. I'm going to have to come back again to try out more!

A couple years ago angry chickz was a pretty reliable hot chicken spot and ranked with the best. But it's become wildly inconsistent in flavor and quality, and recently now me and my wife both got terrible salmonella poisoning, neighboring hospitalization, from two separate dishes from here on the same day. Unfortunately I'd recommend avoiding this place as it isn't what it used to be, and it is unsafe to eat here anymore. Won't be coming here again.

This is generally one of my favorite restaurants. We decided to dine in, but the food that they served was cold. I ordered angry fries, and the chicken was cold, and fries were cold. I asked the staff that the food is cold; it looks like the tender and the fries were sitting there for a while. She said that since we put the coleslaw on top of it that's why everything is cold. It does not make sense to me because normally I eat this all the time, and it was not good. And I felt really bad, even though later she said I can make you new, But I felt like she should have taken care of it right away. I didn't accept her offer to make me a new one

We went there last night and everyone left with a stomach ache. The fries were good but that's about it. I ordered the chicken the medium heat option. I didn't realize the seasonings would be dumped on after the chicken was fried. It made the chicken a horrible, grainy, texture with too much salt. It wasn't a medium heat IMO. The price wasn't bad. It was $100 for the 5 of us but the food was not good. Even by the opinion of not picky teenagers.
