"The Angry Crab brings the simple concept of a Louisiana crawfish boil to the Midwest, including the part where you can bring your own beer. And the food at here exceptionally good. The way it works is you order different types of shellfish that come all together by the pound, plus pick a sauce style and spice level. Pretty simple really, even if there are a large number of combinations in play. Once your order is in, lace up the bib and wait for the good stuff to come. The seafood comes out swimming in a sauce-filled plastic bag that gets dumped on your table. It’s going to be messy, you’re going to get dirty, and feel free to toss the shells around the table as they are emptied. Nobody will even notice, because everyone’s table will look like they just went to war with their food. And ultimately, it’s the sauces that makes The Angry Crab so good, because when you immerse shellfish in buttery, garlicky, spicy goodness, all is forgotten and nothing is lost. Food Rundown Seafood You have a number of options: snow crab, blue crab, Dungeness crab, king crab, soft shell crab when in season, lobster, shrimp, mussels, crawfish, and clams. That should cover it. Considering this is a Louisiana style crab boil, crawfish are a must. After that, the shrimp and then mussels are surprisingly our other favorites. King crab legs are a good option too. There’s no wrong order. Sauce Insane = lemon pepper seasoning. Grumpy = garlic butter Smoking = angry spice seasoning. Don’t bother reading into the different types. Order your seafood maniac style every time, which is a blend of all three. Spice There are four levels of spice, and if can't make a decision, one of the two middle spices are where you’ll want to be. Extra Dirty Add On’s Angry Crab charges you a bit more for pieces of corn, potato, and andouille sausage, which run from 50-75 cents a piece. The sausage has a good bite to it and is really good, so we suggest ordering at least one piece per two people. Get the corn and potatoes if you’d like, but it’s not a big deal either way. Cajun Fries Get these fries if you want something to keep you occupied before the shellfish bag comes. The seasoning is a bit addicting, so try not to down them all too quickly." - Sam Faye

I was there with a group of friends and all the food was really good and servers worked hard. Oyster poor boy had tons of oysters! Batter was very flavorful and had more salt than I usually eat. Cajun fries good. Onion rings were even better! Live music was excellent! Dauphin Street Stompers dixieland 🎶

First time a crab shack for us and the experience was good. For someone used to of eating from a plate, eating butter laced noodles from a bowl was not easy. But food was tasty so we managed. Kiddo didn't like the taste of one of the items we ordered for him and our super cool server Mady traded it for another one we asked for. No charges for the item returned. She was also kind enough to recommend a kids only option which we found to be better than what we were considering. This place allows you to carry the drinks glass as a souvenir so Mady cleaned and packed it for us. Crab and the shrimp combo seems to be popular here as many guests were seen asking for the same. Being a weekend, it was a bit crowded but we didn't have to wait long for our food so the service was fast. Overall a great first time experience for us.

Atmosphere and service are excellent. Great people working there. I enjoyed my lobster roll but a little additional flavor would have helped make them worth the cost, they were on the bland side. The spicy edamame was yummy and my beer was good.

Being seafood lovers and having tried it all around the globe, we tried it in the U.S. for the first time here. Absolutely loved it. The service was amazing, Tisha & Justin knew exactly what they were serving and recommended the best as per our choice. Ambience was great and so was the food as well. Overall a great place for good seafood 👍

Google
Early dinner, so not crowded. Husband had a crab po’ boy and I had a soft shell crab basket. The food was good and it came out hot. My alcoholic beverage was $23, so that’s a little pricey, but we thought the food prices were reasonable.

Google
We tried this place for dinner recently and it was ok. Our group of 5 was quoted 30 min wait time around 6:30p on a Wednesday night. We got our table 50 min later. Once we sat at the table it was another 15 min before a waiter took our drink order. We tried the fried shrimp basket, catfish basket, and the shrimp/crab combo boil. The fish and shrimp were good. The Cajun fries had great flavor. The shrimp/crab boil was just ok. The shrimp were tough and the crab was tough to crack because it was so mushy. Almost as if it was over cooked. Which isn’t great considering how long the wait was.

Google
DO NOT ORDER MAC-N-CHEESE! Roy was awesome and removed it from our bill. Also a VERY tentative server so we were very pleased with the service! Mild is still spicy (in my opinion but my sister loved it). We took a boil to go shrimp, crab. We put the bag in boiling water for about 7 minutes to heat it up. Take home food was amazing! Added pictures for reference.

Only good thing about this visit was that the food was good. The hostess at the beginning did not listen to anything we requested. We came in with a party of 12 and told them that we wanted to sit inside. We were informed that we could have tables beside each other inside. They had two available tables beside each other but still proceeded to sit other parties that came in after us and extended our wait time until we agreed to sit outside since those tables were no longer available. Service was good while at the restaurant and food was great. We received our tickets with an 18% gratuity included, which was completely fine considering there were 12 of us. After we left the correct amount and left the restaurant (actually tipped over what was required), I received a call from “No caller ID” stating that we did not leave the correct amount and that they had my license plate number, phone number, and name and turned me in the the Alabama state police. After calling back, the waitress continued to state that we did not leave the correct amount and the discrepancy between what we paid and the amount that we allegedly owed did not match up. We decided to drive back to the restaurant to clear any unknowing wrongdoing, then her story completely changed to insinuate we did not do anything wrong. My brother went ahead and left the “52.00” tip that was allegedly left off. We will not be back at this restaurant and are disappointed at the lack of professionalism and integrity. Hope the Alabama state police see this and inquire the lawlessness occurring in this establishment. Make sure to check your receipts and take a copy in case this also happens to you.

Yelp
My husband is a picky eater so after looking at the menu online, I thought this would be a good compromise for both of us. We went for lunch on a Friday and it was almost deserted. Service was friendly and fast. They had decent music playing (classic rock/80s). I got the Jambalaya and he ordered the Fish and Chips, double fries instead of fries & slaw. The food was pretty good. My Jambalaya came with chicken, shrimp, and conecuh sausage, my favorite. The bread was sliced but not cut all the way through, so trying to finish cutting it while in the jambalaya was difficult since it kinda became rubbery. His fries were good - Cajun fries - and his fish was ok. It was Cod, heavily battered. It kinda reminded me of Long John Silver's. That's not an insult; we used to eat there frequently! I don't know. We ate everything, but when we left I said "It was fine, but I feel very underwhelmed." He said that was exactly what he was thinking. I'd go back for sure but maybe not with a lot of enthusiasm.

Yelp
We had such a great time eating seafood Friday night that we tried ANGRY CRAB RESTAURANT across from the Hampton inn Saturday night, they offered live music. I has the shrimp boil special at $20, what a great deal It looks small when u approach but the rooms go to the left into the courtyard. I highly recommend the seafood

Penny R.

Yelp
Tourists tend to be the majority of the clientele. Typical crap and shrimp boils are the focus of the place. Variety of sizes and protein selections available. Potatoes and corn are loaded with flavor, but have been overcooked every time. Live entertainment is offered every week. Local band Gypsy Pearl Is a favorite of locals and are often here.

Johnie B.

Yelp
Ate here with the fam and have to say was pretty disappointed. The price was high. The spices/seasoning was pretty bland. Seafood is seafood -so the protein was fine. The seasoning was bland. I went ahead and bought a couple of levels up on the heat -and it was not good either Hot -but not good. The boil and drinks and 2 appetizers was over $400; so 4 adults and 2 pre-teens and 2 toddlers ate for $57 each. I'm good with price -when quality is there; unfortunately, it was not. Sorry -can't give them a good review. The server -Tish, was sweet and took care of us -a diamond in the rough.

Yelp
We were on vacation and we spent a few hours across the street on the beach. Came in around 4 o'clock and we were immediately seated. Kara was our server and she came to our table right away to offer us drinks, explain the menu thoroughly and answered any questions we had. Our food came in good time and was very delicious. We ordered the shellfish sampler and shared it between 3 people. Catfish and shrimp basket and shrimp pasta. The sampler was more than plenty for 3 people and we had leftovers of all our food. Portions were very generous. Kara checked on us in on us quite a bit. She is whey friendly and considerate of our needs. Would highly recommend Angry Crab Shack and would definitely come again when we are in the area. Ask for Kara to be your server, you will not be disappointed.

Yelp
I really want to be fair so this review might be long. Walked in and were seated immediately. The hostesses were absolutely lovely. They had live music and it was amazing. They also had calamari which was the only thing my daughter wanted for her birthday, and was surprisingly difficult to find on the gulf. Appetizers came out nice and quick. They serve Pepsi products, which I love, but they were out of actual Pepsi. We had seven people in our party: myself, my husband and our five kids. Our food came out in three waves, 10 minutes apart. Our last kid didn't have his food till most of us were half done. They gave my daughter a beautiful, free dessert. That was kind and generous. At the end, they did mandatory gratuity even though their website that applies to adults. Kinda sneaky. Honestly, had we all not eaten dinner at different times, we would've left a large tip anyway but the service was not great save for the hostesses. Our server seemed mildly annoyed the duration of the night though our order WAS accurate, etc. With so many options I simply don't think I will be back.

Marshall G.

Yelp
Please don't waste your time. The whole staff needs to be trained including the manger NAT.... Our waiter was LILLY!!!! horrible. Katlyn who is the hostess is very rude!!!! Regardless if the kitchen is backed up on orders. Our table went with the flow of the business. Everything went south when I decided to close my ticket out at the front and canceled my to go order. As I was trying to handle my ticket, Katlyn kept saying I needed to take care of the customers behind me. In honestly I was there first and should have been allowed to finish paying my ticket out. All three employees needs to back in customer service training.

Vonya W.

Yelp
Pulled up here and didn't have high expectations being that seafood is different everywhere. The hostess at the front was very rude, but when we're sat our waiter Joe was awesome. Very attentive and was able to able to answer any questions that we had about the menu. The drinks and the food were awesome. Food taste surpassed our expectations for it. We will definitely be back the next time we're here on vacation.

Gabriella S.

Yelp
We stopped here as a party of 5. 3 adults 2 kids and the food was delicious! Money well spent. Our eyes were bigger than our bellies and we had lots to take home. Service was prompt and our server was very nice. We loved the openness of the restaurant, the music playing was great and the restaurant has lots of natural light. Bathrooms were clean. We love spicy, and ordered level 2 for our boil. Ended up asking for level 3 on the side and probably could've gone up another level, but the flavor was there, it was delicious. We also ordered the lobster crostini and it was so refreshing and wasn't heavy on our stomachs. Would def order all over again. Shrimp and grits were out of this world!

Yelp
My family is a seafood family and my parents recommended this spot while we were visiting them in Orange Beach. We were able to walk in and grab a table pretty quickly as things turned around fast. They were busy but the staff are efficient and friendly. We decided to get the shrimp broil with a few extras thrown in. It seems kind of pricey at first but when you see that the bags feed multiple people, it really evens out. We were able to feed 4 adults out of one bag and we all had plenty to eat. Lots of yummy shrimp. We ordered a kids meal for one of our kids, but the other one was able to eat out of the bag as well since he is a shrimp lover like his dad. The only thing I would mention is that some of the extras are personal sized, so if you order something like coleslaw, it will only feed one person. It also was a little weird eating out of a bag, it felt like I was digging through the trash like a raccoon, ha! Other than that, not a bad place for some healthy, non-fried seafood broils.

Shane K.

Yelp
Here is our timeline of events: Check in 7:23pm Seated 7:49pm Kind of busy on a Tuesday night so no issues so far. Ordered before 8pm Ordered consisted of 2 apps, 1 kids cheeseburger and 4 adult entrees. 8:45pm waitress returns with an update that nothing is ready and they are out of rice which a couple of our meals include and it will take 40 minutes for some rice We ask for manager Manager will help us out and take care of it We get 2 apps at 9pm 9:30pm!!!!! We get 2 of entrees and we ask about my son's cheeseburger ordered over 1.5 hours ago 9:45 cheeseburger comes out 9:55pm(they close at 10pm) we get our last 2 entrees to go and we flee this place as quickly as possible. TERRIBLE SERVICE with so many better options in Orange Beach.

Yelp
The greeter was rude to the group before us and then us, too. Refused to let us set at 2 tables and insisted we had to sit outside. Consequently one in our group overheated. The waitress was wonderful. The food was good but the greeter should never be in that position. 8/6/2024

Yelp
Very impressed. First visit here and they had an all you can eat snow crab special. Crabs were amazing ! Service was great, wait was short, all in all great boil bags and great experience. My daughter who doesn't eat seafood even enjoyed her chicken tender kids meal. Will be back. I thought about this meal for days after it was so yummy

Holly G.

Yelp
This was so good, loved being able to create your own seafood boil bag with the add ons and seasonings you like.

Lori C.

Yelp
Don't waste your $$$ here when there are so many great restaurants in Orange Beach. We had just arrived in town, tired and hungry and this place was conveniently located beside Publix. Avoid this place even if you are starving! The fish and chips had a "left in the freezer too long" taste with an overused cooking oil aftertaste. My husband had a mediocre shrimp bowl. It's the worst food we've ever had at the beach. Go next door, purchase Pub Subs at Publix, then eat them in your car. You can thank me later.

Amy S.

Yelp
We had a table of 5 and 3 separate tickets and our waiter had no issue with that. For the table someone ordered the jalapeño hush puppies and calamari. The calamari was not good, so disappointed because we love calamari. I think they were previously frozen. The hush puppies were good and nice with the ranch dip. The clam chowder and corn bread was delicious! Especially the corn bread, it was moist, tad sweet, and also had jalapeños - it was the perfect combo. The catfish basket was so good, the catfish was a big piece and paired nicely with the potato salad. My boil was sadly okay, the shrimp was overcooked so it was touch and I didn't even finish half of it but the crab legs was cooked perfectly. I only ordered one but I guess the waiter thought I said two which is fine because I would have left starving.

Joshua A.

Yelp
Great restaurant! Love the atmosphere and service. One of the best boiled crab and shrimps I have had, Thank You!

Alan M.

Yelp
Way overpriced what they think of spicy is completely mild and non-spicy. Server was good. nice location if you want to waste your money complete tourist trap

Natalie W.

Yelp
Easy five star review and the number one factor--- David, our waiter. I hope his management sees this and honors his service. Such a genuinely kind, efficient, and enjoyable person. My three year twin boys loved David. He not only got our somewhat complicated order perfect the first time, but he went out of his way to let my sons meet his "pet," Mr. Big Boy (lobster). Dinner and a free experience! And we didn't have to wait! (Thursday night, 7pm). Thank you so much, Angry Crab, and of course, David. God Bless this business!

Jay B.

Yelp
I chose this restaurant after sifting through the 20+ restaurants around the condo we are staying at. Upon seeing positive 5 star reviews in the recent month, I went with the Angry Crab Shack. I was kind of overwhelmed by the menu at first pertaining to the boil but our server Josh guided us through! He provided incredible service which was sincerely appreciated since we are from out of town. We started with a dozen raw oysters on the half shell which were oh so good and fresh. We also had calamari as well which seemed to have a Cajun flavor to it. For my boil, I got one pound of the green mussels at 1 spiciness trifecta style. I also got some corn, sausage and half a pound of clams as well. It was DELICIOUS. It was also spicy as Josh had warned me. Level 1 is with cayenne pepper so it was expected. I was so full by the end but I also got some noodles to throw into the boil juice so that I could make another meal out of it and not throw it out. I'm pretty sure we'll be back this week! It was an amazing experience. 10/10 would recommend to family and friends!

Jimmy K.

Yelp
Great variety of menu items to find something for everyone. The place is spacious and the wait staff is friendly. The portions match the prices. We had a large group and tried oysters, fried pickles, red beans and rice and individual boil bags. The table is your plate or you can eat out of the boil bag. The crab and shrimp were great. Unfortunately, service was slow at the end to get the check, but our waiter was the bartender as well and doing everything he could. We would definitely try this place again.

Bradley J.

Yelp
Good service, awesome food. I thought it was a little strange that the food comes out a different times.

Andy H.

Yelp
I wasn't expecting much. It looked corporate and located in an upscale shopping area - so I assumed it would be nothing special. Wow, was I wrong! Atmosphere: it's a fun atmosphere, well decorated. The tables are covered in paper for less mess. Seats are comfy. It's appropriately loud - but not you can't talk to your friends loud. Food: Amazing. Everything we ordered was just fresh and fantastic! Fried tofu was a surprise and it was soooooo good! I suggest the trifecta sauce and medium or hot. You'll see what I mean when you look at the menu. Other items are available if you don't want messy seafood buckets. Service: It was a tad slow at times, but everyone was super friendly. Food came out fast and correct. Drinks were refilled when needed. No complaints on service. All in all - if you want a damn good low country boil experience with tons of options - you can't beat this place. It's really good!

Taylor C.

Yelp
Staff is amazing and food is great. Place was nice food was a good price they also take big parties. They also have a tank for the fresh lobster

Beronica C.

Yelp
Seat immediately. Sat in the bar area. Joe W was very helpful as it was a little overwhelming at first glance of the menu. This was the 1st time to eat here. He was extremely polite made sure to check on us every time he walked past our table. We had the snow crab boil along with potatoes & corn on the cob. We had been in Orange Beach for a week & a 1/2. We ate here in our last night & it was by far the best meal we had during our entire stay. We will be back again next summer.

Jeremy P.

Yelp
Oh man... so we are a family of 5 and got the family feast. It was plenty of food and was so good. Absolutely worth every penny we paid. We all walked away stuffed. The service was fast and friendly. A neat place and the wait was not very long - 20 minutes. L

Barrett O.

Yelp
This is just over a year since this chain restaurant opened here in our area. I gave them kudos on my first review after my initial visit and today was my forth so I thought I'd drop a few more highlights. In addition to their inclusion of some local seafood I've since had the opportunity to save some other nice touches. They are regularly featuring live music throughout the week on their spacious outdoor covered patio with an ample stage. The service is very good with tag team action so while your server can be hustling their tables there's several kitchen staff who quickly bring out your food when ready. This seems to help bring your food out hot and quickly, nice job. I've had both their New England clam chowder which is pleasantly tasty. In my years of chowder consumption throughout MA and the northeast I've become picky and this is indeed enjoyable. Their gumbo is pretty good, and is more regionally native but it is most acceptable of you add a lil' hot sauce. Now one of my big surprises is their chicken wings. I know who's thinking chicken wings at a crab place? Well there's are big, crispy and quite juicy and with several seasoning choices and 6 levels of heat you can enjoy a darn good chicken wing in this crab shack. The salads are a nice portion and are very good here with fresh baby greens and choices to several proteins as well. Bottom line: The seafood is good, and pretty much everything is worth a try so it's still a solid 4 and recommended!

S H.

Yelp
If you are traveling with kids, teens or adults- this is the spot to try- We had no idea what to order - or how to eat and our waiter was amazing giving is suggestions And even a tutorial on how to eat and crack open:the crab lobster and shrimp! Family friendly- very fresh sea food and magnetic atmosphere

Krista Q.

Yelp
This place is so good and so much fun! The whole environment is a blast! The staff are so sweet and service was wonderful! The food was amazing!! We will definitely be back! I highly recommend! Also the drinks are worth it! They are strong and so good!!

Hannah C.

Yelp
Loved Mississippi Joe! Came back a second time and was lucky enough to have him again. Bad ass bartender, working well, bar, cocktail tables AND even dining tables! Management, hope you're recognizing his greatness! What a hard worker and great young man

Angela M.

Yelp
The service was great. Joe did a fantastic job. The Dungeness crab was cooked properly and lightly seasoned. They didn't knock my socks off but they were still good. The problem was the chargrilled oysters. They were so overcooked we had to chip them out of the shell. They take a few minutes to prepare so we didn't make a fuss. The restaurant is casual with paper on the tables where you eat your seafood. The prices were ok for the quality of the Dungeness. Some of the other items seemed really high. We may or may not go back but the oysters are definitely out for us.

Agnew D.

Yelp
Visiting Orange Beach and stopped in for some local cuisine. After about a 20 minute wait our party of 5 was seated at an acceptable social distance from other diners and our server appeared right away. We informed our server that 3 of us were at this type "seafood boil style" for the first time and she explained everything from the way the food was prepared and served to where you or wash your hands when finishing. Our table had the fish and chips, gumbo, and 3 seafood boils. Oh yes, also 3 house specialty drinks. Everything was delicious from what I could gather as you will also see when looking through my pictures. The two friends that I was with who had previously eaten this type of food loved it 100%... They take cards & wear mask.

Don T.

Yelp
Don't let mall location deter you. Was one of the best meals we had in Orange Beach. Service - Audrey was fantastic and a real pro. She helped us with the menu and made it easy to do a boil. She also made the boil fun. It comes on a plastic bag and you dump it on the table. Tie on the bib and dive in. Food - Order a boil with the trifecta spice. I did shrimp and the heat level 1. Perfect for me. Also had hush puppies and lobster roll. Both were very good. We were there off-season and were able to sit immediately. Like all places short on staff but they are working hard. Thank them and all wait staff these days with good tips.

Stacy R.

Yelp
The food and service were amazing. We walked in and got sat immediately. Our server was very attentive and gave great recommendations on sauce choices. The trifecta seasoning was so good, and the crab was cooked perfectly.

Joshua C.

Yelp
Awesome food and awesome service! Snow Crab and Baked Parmesan Oysters were both fantastic!

Aron M.

Yelp
The food was actually pretty good. So good we came back twice on our vacation. The reason for the low review is the absolutely awfully terrible front desk experience. We checked in and were told a 30-minute wait. It was pouring rain and we had a large group so we decided to wait even though we told them we'd be willing to break up our group. After 40 minutes I went back to check on our wait and she talked to me as if she had never met me and quoted me another 20 minutes! I told her again we'd break our group up and made sure she knew we had kids who wanted to eat. After an hour of total waiting and went back and she told me another 20 minutes acting again as this was the first time we spoke. I was highly irritated at this point (though I am super chill and had my composure) I asked her why this was taking so long and she told me that she was waiting on this one large table to open up and they sat down right before we first arrived. I explained that it was never reasonable that a group that large would have been done in 30 minutes or even an hour and that if she had just been upfront with me in the beginning then we would have just gone somewhere else. There was no apology. We continued to wait as we had waited that long and they look close to being done. I watched as the waiter at the table we were waiting for had absolutely no urgency to give them their bill (though the party was clearly wanting to go) and no urgency to clean the table for us. After a total of an hour and forty minutes, we finally sat down.

Kristine B.

Yelp
My son's favorite meal of vacation! Bag was full of meat including lobster and it was SOOOOO good!Seafood Boils

Alyssum M.

Yelp
The only thing I don't like is that I don't know what the seasonings will be like. I wish I could have a side of each We loved the food! We got 3 lb shrimp, 1 lb mussels, corn and potatoes. Filled 4 of us up! We never mess with crab because it's not tasty enough for the price. It's just blah... I'd rather have a ton of big shrimp. My kids love it! We got the trio seasonings, and I had a side of the hot Cajun for myself to dip. Yum!

Buffy C.

Yelp
Food was good but really pricy. Has a full bar. You really have to pay attention to the amount of heat you can add. It gets hot really quick. I couldn't eat my meal. Service was just ok. Took a while to get her back to the table for drinks. Off season so wasn't busy.

KeAloha Lola H.

Yelp
I have been here twice now and their food does not disappoint! They know how to spice their mild medium and hot! This is one of the best back yard boil style places I've ever been to and I will be back again. Such good food and options. Even biggie smalls the largest lobster I've ever seen.

Lynn N.

Yelp
Still my favorite seafood spot in Vegas! You have to try the trifecta sauce heat level number 2. The Queen Crab, Lobster Crustinis, Chicken Sandwich are amazing just to name a few favorites. The service is top notch and the ambience has a family friendly relaxed vibe!

Christopher O.

Yelp
The service was fine, as was the atmosphere. I can't even fault the high prices because I do understand the high cost of seafood right now. The food simply wasn't good. Admittedly, I did not try their signature dishes of boiled seafood. I had clam chowder and grilled shrimp with rice and veggies. The shrimp was I believe $18 and I received five of them, and the dish lacked any flavor. The clam chowder was as good as one I could get from a can in Walmart. I hesitated to order the $120 crab boil for two because as I was brought to my table I looked at some other table's dishes and just wasn't impressed. I'm glad I only wasted $24.

Armelle B.

Yelp
Was really good!! Got the king crab and shrimp combo! Definitely was an amazing seafood! the service was good servers were attentive! and it was a very family orientated and perfect for big groups!

Jenna 1.

Yelp
Lovely appetizers here at The Angry Crab! Sweet girls rly enjoyed the Raw Oysters! #preboil update: We all got different broils and they were absolutely to die for! great service and amazing food! 10/10 would recommend

Tywanna H.

Yelp
never again. I have never witnessed such poor service. We had about 5 servers and still did not receive all of our food or drinks. after complaining to the "manager" some little dude pretended to be a manager and told us we needed to pay our bill and leave. why were we upset? because we were ignored and poorly served. I am a restaurant manager and I have never seen anything like this. I called the office and no one answered or called back. I even spoke to a manager from another restaurant and he told me where to call to complain. I told the people at the BNB to make sure they do not refer others to this god awful place!! Good luck if you want to take a chance on an poorly staffed, rude, poorly trained environment.

Yelp
One of our favorites on our trip to Orange Beach. I was so pleasantly surprised at how yummy Angry Crab Shack was! Our waiter, Josh, was the most helpful, kind, attentive waiter we had the entire trip. He made the experience at the restaurant a great one. The food was absolutely delicious. We got a pound of snow crab ($36), the trifecta(MUST HAVE), mild(and it was still a little hot) thankfully Josh had explained that all the spice levels ran a little warmer than expected. We also added a 1/2 lb of head on shrimp ($8) to the order. My husband and I shared that with a 1/2 dozen charred oysters. It was the perfect amount of food for the two of us. We will definitely visit again when we come back to orange beach.

Yelp
The worst restaurant tried to eat here twice cannot even be acknowledged at the host stand, so rude! My husband finally got someone to help him guess women can't talk to a host in Alabama Their hours are wrong, the service was awful avoid this place ... if I could give zero stars I would

Yelp
Well it's a great place for seafood lovers. Look at my photos and see for your self. Ash was a great server, nice and explained the menu well. I love this place will visit every year in Orange Beach.
