Was really craving a hot dog 🌭 and I'm glad I found this place. They have a spicy and regular version. Wish there was another side option besides chips like the corn dog place. They have a great selection of condiments, though. It's a fun location. You can sit on a bench nearby and see/hear everyone's reaction on the wheel 😅

Donald Bakewell

Google
The Spicy Angry Dog is the best! Served up nice and hot and the flavor is amazing. One of my favorite stops when at CA Adventures! No line all three times I went today!

Cherry G

Google
They didnt have the spicy dog available until an hour so I just got the kids a regular hot dog. You get a bad of chips which isnt so bad. Then all 3 buns tore apart. The only good thing was you can add a few more condiments so I mixed ketchup with buffalo sauce. They were not worth the money I spent. Just go get a Turkey leg for the same price

G K

Google
Good quality hot dog served in an ultra cheap bun, the kind that immediately splits into two pieces. I wouldn't say the hot dogs are spicy either, just decently spiced.

Curtis Lannom

Google
Not quite as good as the corn dogs that are available in both parks. Good for a quick bite.

iinan the mage

Google
Average hot dogs at overly expensive prices. Bun was soggy and disgusting. You can pick from several choices of sauces depending on how spicy you like it. Not worth the price, go get a corn dog instead.

Sandi Lee

Google
Basic hot dog stand... but convenient if you're trying to grab something to munch while you wait in line.

Saul Perez

Google
I don’t know why people insist on reviewing the price. It’s Disney; of course it’s gonna be expensive! The dogs were really good! Please try this hotdog without any condiments. It’s so good!

Yelp
Angry Dogs definitely catches your eye! I love the design of this hot dog stand. It's not your average hot dog place. Since it's located on the Pixar Pier, it continues with the theme of Inside Out. The Inside Out character for anger is the character on the front of this hot dog stand. Very cute design. When I looked at the menu, I realized very quickly that the theme of the food was hot and hotter lol I'm not trying to die over here. So, I ended up getting some refreshments from here instead of food. They have soda, water and vitamin waters here. I got a bottled water and vitamin water. Perfect to quench my thirst. :)

Yelp
Spicy dog is ok, nothing too spectacular stood out to me in this meal. I was a little dissatisfied because we paid about $10 just for a skinny little hotdog that's not even spicy and it's called the "angry" spicy hot dog. The best part of the meal was the Chester Hot Cheeto chips that it came with. Service was good though, and the outdoor decor was cool.

Yelp
Angry Dogs at Disney California!! This place has some bomb glizzies.. $10 you get a glizzie & chips! You can get either a spicy or regular dog. Flaming hot fries, or lays potato chips. Great quick stop!
google avatar

Yelp
This place is located on the Pixar pier by the Pixar pal around ride( big merry go round) . There is not seating but they do have a bar like area just to stand and eat . There is also just two options to choose from and I was a bit disappointed cause I thought if I got the slightly annoyed dog with potato chips for $8.79, this it would have a little spice right?!? But no, it's just a plan hot dog. I am going for the angers dog next time ! No mobile ordering for this place but it really is a quick grab and go
google avatar

Yelp
Purchased an angry dog last night for about $10.00. It's a hot dog that comes with a side of hot Cheetos. Pros: -fast and convenient Cons: -pricey for what you get -all the themed sauces are gone, so there are just individual packets of ketchup, relish, yellow mustard, and brown mustard Overall, I would say that there are better options at Disney California Adventure to try.
google avatar

Yelp
Best hot dog place in California Adventure is Angry Dogs. They have both spicy dogs with hot fries or regular less spicy hot dogs with chips. The prices are reasonable, service was quick and the food was great. (Served on a traditional hot dog bun) Definitely recommend them if you're wanting a hot dog.

Yelp
I finally tried Angry Dogs after all these years. I like the hot dogs here but it's not likely I'll return because it's just a poor value. I blame Costco for this viewpoint. Im sure we can all agree that Costco has simple hot dogs but also some of the best quality hotdogs. You get a quality beef Frank on a bun and then you get to top it with your choice of basic condiments. The hot dogs at Angry Dogs are very similar. One slight difference is the type of hot dog you can get. You have the option of getting spicy hotdogs and I think it's a good thing. It's just not worth paying 6x more for it.

Yelp
Oh my goodness. Angry indeed. Angry if you buy the "slightly annoyed dog" and imagine it to be anything other than a small hot dog, the kind that you get from school fundraisers or free at RC Wiley furniture store. That sucker cost $7.99. It comes with a snack size bag of Lays chips. No flaming hot Cheetos. But I was hungry and was right near the area in Pixar Pier in California Adventure. I was hunkered down for a couple of hours, so I bought the hot dog sight unseen. The other menu choice was an "angry dog", a spicy all beef hot dog served with a snack size bag of Flamin Hot Cheetos. $8.99. Due to COVID precautions, they no longer have the self serve condiment ketchup dispensers of the varying levels of flavored spiced ketchup. They had those little packets of condiments including sirachi. Well my expression matched the life size statue of the Anger character from the Inside Out movie. The statue is stuck to the front of the food stand. He has a huge scowl on his face with raised fists and painted flames bursting out of his head. Grrr. Take the selfie with Anger but check out the other food stands for better values.

Yelp
My boyfriend and I finally got to try this place out and we both got the Angry Dog, which is a spicy hotdog that comes with Cheetos hot fries chips. We had to ask the cashier for condiments, which were Mayo, ketchup, mustard, and relish. The hotdog had a good spice to it, but we found it weird that the bun was split in half so we were holding it more like a sandwich than a hotdog at that point. The hot fries chips were not that spicy to me, but my boyfriend was dying from the spice of the chips more than the hotdog. Overall, a good combo meal at the parks.
google avatar

Yelp
I'm a big hot dog snob and there's absolutely nothing special about this hot dog (I couldn't even taste the spice in the angry dog). The hot dog also looks preheated as they just pull it from the display oven. They give you prepackaged condiments and a bag of hot Cheetos fries to go with it. Relatively, it's reasonably priced but don't expect to be super full after. The one major plus is there's a side counter that you can eat at where you get a really good view of the pier.

Yelp
The spicy hot dog is amazing. Highly recommend trying out it especially if you like hot dogs.

Yelp
It's just "SAD." - Sad Angry Dogs Somebody let the dogs out... 'And they got hit by a car. Angry Dogs lived up to its name... "Angry!... 'With a dash of sad." - https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/angry-dogs-anaheim?select=WvFMmgeLGY_czs6CmeXXyQ I've been a huge fan of Corn Dog Castle before word got out; it's just down the boardwalk. I was intrigued when I saw Angry Dogs @ opening week of Pixar Pier. (June 2018) Note to self; need to try the Angry Dog @ Angry Dogs. I had asked the cast member @ the time if it was the same spicy sausage used in CDC's hot link corn dog. She told me that she wasn't sure; I appreciated her honesty. My friends & I haven't been back to Disneys since June. We're not a big fan of the summer crowds where it takes 90 minutes to get on Guardians of The Galaxy, paired with the sweltering heat. I prefer the 30 minutes or less time frame. Now that weather is cooling off, it's a great time to be @ the park! So, today we tried Angry Dogs... 'And it was very underwhelming; especially for the $$. Angry Dog (Hot link) | $8.49 x2 = $16.98 *The Angry Dog comes w/a small bag of "Hot Cheetos" Soda | $4.19 Water | $3.99 Grand total: $27.11 Menu - https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/angry-dogs-anaheim?select=QP-cNsXJ18-PYUI_nsb68g Note: Disney AP discount NOT accepted here Remember earlier, I asked the cast member if these were the same hot links that CDC uses?... (Insert buzzer sound here) It is not! CDC uses a rather large hot link, obscenely so. Ladies, please eat responsibly, after all this is a family place! The all beef hot link from Angry Dog is about 7". For the $$, you're paying about $4.72 per ounce; waste money. The overall value, not worth it. Photo - https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/angry-dogs-anaheim?select=KXIdtZDB9i-ptIJxqx7y2g I had to try it and once is more then plenty! If you're bite-curious; give them a try! However, I suggest buying one Angry Dog, split it and you make the call!... 'But this way, when you're disappointed, you won't feel like a complete sap; just only half of one! Did I mention underwhelming? Again, not to worry because you can walk down the ways a bit to Corn Dog Castle and still get one of the best eats @ DCA! (BTW - It's less $$, bigger portions, AND they DO accept the Disney AP discount. Also, the corn dogs are made to order & not sitting in a sweat box like they do here @ Angry Dogs.) Photo (Detail) - https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/angry-dogs-anaheim?select=ZsvtLXxEkp2At_5ocNDbew The two young ladies working were friendly & helpful. They also offer the: Slightly Annoyed Dog | $7.49 (It's just your standard, run of the mill, hot dog. It's a lot like the $1.50 hot dog/soda combo from COSTCO but not as good & drink sold separately.) Angry Dogs also offers a fairly wide array of sauces for your dog; ranging from brown mustard, yellow mustard, sriracha ketchup, regular ketchup, and a buffalo sauce. That's all fun & everything but if your hot link dog is ALL that, why would you need anything more than good ol' mustard?... It's a nice novelty to offer but brings nothing to the hot link dog. In fact, if anything, it masks the real taste of the hot link. If you order a "Slightly Annoyed Dog," I can see playing around with the different sauces but nothing substantial beyond that. (Shrugs) Photo - https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/angry-dogs-anaheim?select=w4BEywpclaVYIPODrq9wfA The most appealing thing about Angry Dog is the booth design with the character; very fun & looks great! Fun design! - https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/angry-dogs-anaheim?select=HJUiYs2k04sdAPS3Mzbitg I'd also suggest picking up an IPA from the Karl Strauss Beer Truck or a Michelada, it'll help ease the pain. In fact, pick up two, you're gonna need it! - Big Aloha! Verdict: "Very passable." Food: 2 Ambiance: 5 (Hey, it's Disneys! It's still a pretty awesome place to be despite some of the eateries!) Service: 3+ Value: 1 ** Note: Overall rating does not reflect my final rating of two stars; I'm using my executive power to override it because simply, Angry Dog earned it.

Yelp
Want to add a little spice to your life or just your appetite? Try the Angry Dog at this new food cart in the heart of Pixar Pier. I really love spicy food, and after trying the Angry Dog, I was hoping for more heat from the bare dog, but it could be more spicy for other guests. I still really enjoyed the flavor and customizing with the condiments. Seething Sriracha Ketchup and Raging Buffalo Hot Sauce will also add additional spicy kick. I'm guessing now that the Slightly Annoyed Dog, would have just a touch of spice compared to a regular mild-mannered hot dog. Although the heat meter won't go off the scale with their signature item, the flavorful hot link and a fun assortment of condiments will satisfy your taste buds and hungry belly. TIP: Crush some of the Flamin' Hot Fries (Cheetoes) and add it on top of your Angry Dog for added flavor and texture! Yum!! Overall, I enjoyed the food and the Inside Out theme is too cool. Definitely worth a try. I'll be back again soon!

Bel S.

Yelp
EDIT TO CLEAR UP CONFUSION: people claim the angry dog comes with hot Cheetos but it does not. They are hot Chester's which are not as good Cheetos. Chester's is made of potatoes and corn unlike Cheetos which are made of only corn and therefore have a superior texture though inferior shape. Also there is less cheese flavor in my opinion. I was really thankful that the staff gave me the option to choose "hot fries" over potato chips, however, while I know that Chester's hot fries are cheaper than old reliable hot cheeto, Disney need not skimp out on this. Especially when they are charging approximately $8.50 for a hot dog and bag of chips. The hot dog, I may add, is not superior to the $1.50 hot dog you get at Costco which comes with a soft drink. Of course, you are a captive audience when you are in Disneyland's California adventure. Especially when half the rides are broken and people are flocking all around. What else are you to do in that scenario besides eat a "slightly annoyed dog"? Anyway, I'm giving this three stars because the staff were nice about my chip choice, but only three stars because the chip choice was ultimately disappointing and far inferior to the typical hot Cheeto.

Yelp
So the other day I went back to Disney California adventure and when I was walking I saw a hot dog Stan with the character Anger from "inside out ". Supposedly the hotdog there was spicy and I love spicy food so I went to go give it a try. I regretted it when I saw the hotdog being heated up, so the hot dog must have been made hours or even days ago . The spice was a 1/10 and the flavor was a 1/10 too. I tried to put the hottest sauce but it didn't work. Also thanks to this hotdog I just got food poison. lol.

M S.

Yelp
Felt sick immediately after eating the spicy hot dog here. It was delicious but something was very wrong because I had some type of allergic reaction to it and had to leave the park shortly after. I also got the gut feeling it wasn't fresh. Be cautious eating at this stand when in DCA.

Yelp
Review #295 - 2018 Sad to say, but this was probably one of the "better" meals that I've had for my entire trip at Disneyland/California Adventure! I didn't expect anything fancy. All I wanted was a regular hot dog and that's exactly what I got, a hot dog! The meal comes with a bag of Lay's original potato chips and my daughter was plenty happy with her little bag of chips. They have six different types of sauce/hot sauce for your liking. I went with the sriracha hot sauce, which was fine. They also provide packet mayo and relish, which worked well for me since I actually do put mayo on my hot dogs. Don't judge me! I was full from just that one hot dog and we were good to go for the rest of the afternoon.

Yelp
It's a hot dog at theme park prices, so don't go in thinking you're gonna get a bargain. Two Angry Dogs, two bags of hot fries and a curmudgeonly lady serving up the goods = $17 and some change. Not cheap. Someone pointed out that she was probably angry because she was in character? Doubt it, but I still liked my food. The Angry Dog is the hotter of the two and you can spice it up a bit with their various condiments. My favorite was the sriracha ketchup, but if you want to get creative, they have buffalo sauce, reg ketchup, relish, yellow or brown mustard and more. I liked the addition of the hot fries with it. I used to eat a version of these as a kid and they definitely took me down memory lane. Totes worth the stained fingers and awkward chunks of chips stuck in your teeth for the remainder of the afternoon... I'd gladly do it again in a heartbeat. This was a good snack (I have a big appetite, what can I say?) so if you're on the verge of starvation, you'll have to seek dessert or a second meal after the fact. It is only a food stand, but they have a few seats nearby or you can walk around the corner to the courtyard where there's usually ample shaded places to enjoy your food.

Yelp
Super cute place for hot dogs. Simple menu with only 2 food item options -- angry dog (Spicy) and slightly annoyed dog (not spicy). The hotdog comes with a bag of chips, too! The angry dog comes with a bag of hot Cheeto fries and the slightly annoyed dog comes with a bag of original lays. The hotdog itself isn't very spicy, if you can eat hot Cheetos, you can eat this hotdog. If you want it to be spicier, you can add additional condiments and sauces. There's regular ketchup, yellow mustard, brown mustard, sriracha ketchup, hot buffalo sauce, mayonnaise, and relish. I was kind of disappointed in the hotdog texture. It was kind of dry. It was still a good hotdog, though. Having so many sauce options is nice, too.

Yelp
Love this place! Angry Dogs is one of the brand new places to eat on the all new Pixar Pier in Disneyland's California Adventure park. This hot link/hot dog stand is based off of the Anger character from Disney's Inside Out movie and is definitely going to be one of our go-to eating spots. You have a choice between the "Angry dog" or the "Slightly Annoyed Dog", which I assume was not as hot. I got the Angry dog, and it was really great. Basically a really really flavorful hot link in a bun, but they had a cool assortment of different hot sauces to put on the dog after, ranging from not so hot to really hot. We thought it was so good that I only had a couple bites of the dog before my wife destroyed it... The dog also came with some hot "fries", which was a cheetos hot fry shaped potato chip that was really tasty (similar flavor to flaming hot cheetos). If you like spicy food at all, you'll love this place, it makes a great addition to the new area.
google avatar

Yelp
By the name and how the food cart was placed I thought it would be a great idea to get a unique hotdog but i was greeted with much disappointment I honestly wouldn't recommend unless you love hotdogs

Karen B.

Yelp
The hubby loves the hot dogs here! Really spicy and delish. The least spicy dog is also good. Of course, they are served with hot cheetos and hot chips. A fun place!
google avatar

Andrea H.

Yelp
$7.50 for the slightly annoyed hot dog and a bag of Lay's. Nothing special whatsoever about this hot dog.....Walk on by or check out Poultry Palace nearby.

Madison M.

Yelp
Delicious spicy hotdog! Wish I could find it outside of the parks because it was very tasty.

Yelp
Walking along Paradise Pier, you may suddenly stop when you see the frozen image of Inside Out's Anger engulfing a ginormous hot dog with flames that emanate from the top of his head. In the center of the dog, the stone-like "Angry Dogs" sign faintly glows red-hot in certain spots. A large red-and-white stripped roof covers a wide rectangular space that sits directly behind Anger, and right next to the water. The right half of it has the ordering counter equipped with a commercial warmer filled with bags of ready-to-eat goodies. To the left is a counter with utensils, condiments, and a few spaces for the standing dining experience. It's a simple decision between the spicy Angry Dog or the plain-jain/blaine Slightly Annoyed Dog. Both come with a bag of Flaming Hot Chester's Fries; but for anyone wanting to cool down the inevitable heat, it'll cost extra. My friend and I decided to split an Angry sucker. In a shiny silver-and-yellow foil bag came the dark-red, slightly speckled with pepper frankfurter housed between pale buns. A bit of a wrinkle had begun to form from the steam like some kind of scar. Without any ketchup or the like, I tasted the supposedly angry piece of food. Soft generic buns, a decent snap from the casing, a good amount of juice and chili oils, and a great buildup of spicy heat to help the rather usual beef hot dog taste stand out a bit more. For those that have never had the Fries kind of Cheetos' then you are in luck since a bag is included. Just think of a less cheesy, more hollow Cheetos. They, too, are just fine It's at-first a fun novelty take on the hot link served out of a unique stall that the resort is known for. For what you, it's your standard, almost seven inch dog that does indeed pack a good amount of spice, and a standard bag of those Flaming Hot Fries that'll keep that heat train going. But once that novelty wears off, it sort-of begins to dissipate from memory and falls into the background to the park's greater snacks for the overall price. A decent 2 from me.
google avatar

Matt O.

Yelp
As far as grab and go places this is pretty simple and effective. Two options, angry (spicy) dog or slightly annoyed dog. The spice in the angry dog sneaks up on you a bit, at first disapointing but building up to a respectable if less than exciting heat.
google avatar

Rafael A.

Yelp
If you've got little ones, don't be intimidated by the name or look of this hot dog stand. Yes, they sell "spicy", or "angry" dogs, but they also sell "slightly annoyed" dogs, which are plain old, standard hot dogs, you're kids will love. Keep in mind, you're at one of the most expensive places on Earth to spend a day with the kids (the most expensive title belonging to that OTHER theme park across the way from DCA), so a hot dog and chips will set you back almost $8.00; however, if you've got a picky eater, who survives off hot dogs and fries, this'll keep them happy (and you from blowing your lid like Anger). What is pretty cool is they've got a few different mustard and ketchup varieties to top your dog. They've even got buffalo sauce to put on your dog, if you really want to spice it up. The line here is never too long, and even when it is, the line moves quickly (unlike every other line in this park...teehee).
google avatar

John S.

Yelp
Great novelty snack at Disney California Adventure. Not really that spicy but the addition of the hot Cheetos and the spicy condiments will definitely kick it up a notch. All around fun snack and worth buying if you like hotdogs and spicy things.
google avatar

Ben Y.

Yelp
The hot dog were great. My wife had the angry dog and there was a good amount of spice. Although what I did appreciate is sometimes when places make things spicy that's all that you can taste. I had the annoyed dog and that had a hint of spice but still tasted good. What really made the hot dogs though were the different condiments. You can get different levels of heat in the ketchup and mustard. So if you are afraid of the spice from the hot dog you can get a plain one and spice it up with the condiments.

Yelp
This new food stand in the heart of DCA's Pixar Pier got me feeling some sort of way... ANGRY!! Let me start off with a disclaimer that I absolutely love spicy food and my threshold for spicy is quite up there, so your taste will differ from mine. I was so excited to try out the angry dog, which claims to be a spicy all-beef hot dog and comes with hot cheeto fries. After paying the $8 price tag, I was handed an average sized hot dog. I don't know why, but I was expecting something much larger than an a generic hot dog that can be found at any grocery store. This dog comes plain, so you can dress it up with the copious condiments that are located on the side of the stand underneath a roofed area. It's awesome that there's so many sauces to choose from, but the eating area is very small and no amount of spicy ketchup can save this hot dog. First off, it's very... ho hum... not spicy AT ALL. I hate that it was marketed as a spicy snack, but it barely left a tickle on my tongue and that's WITH the sriacha ketchup! I was so disappointed... TL;DR: The two stars are for the hot cheetos that come with the angry dog and for the variety of sauces you can use to dress up your dog. Overall, the angry hot dog just tastes like a normal run of the mill hot dog you can get from your local grocery store. Nothing special. I'd recommend going to Corndog Castle, which is also in the park if you're looking for a spicy wiener.

Yelp
A perfect snack spot! After a long wait at Toy Story Mania, I was starving and was totally looking forward to trying this out. I got the Slightly Annoyed Dog (cute name) which came with a bag of Lays. Eating chips with hot dogs is a must for me. $8 is too pricey for a regular hot dog, but hunger doesn't care. They had cute names for the condiments. I just stuck with good ole ketchup and mustard. One day I'll try the Angry spicy dog.
google avatar

Ann T.

Yelp
This place is good! Long line but moved fast! I purchased an angry dog, which comes with hot cheetoe fries! (They also sell normal non spicy dogs) The hot dog has a decent kick to it but it's not gonna burn ur mouth off so it is still very enjoyable! You can also make your dogs spicier with hot sauces and ketchup. I used regular ketchup and it was a nice sweet spice YUM YUM! *HACK* I went back later in the day and got another angry dog but used left over cheese sauce from my pretzel to put on a spicy dog and added my hot fries on top with !!! Very tasty!
google avatar

Christine S.

Yelp
I LOVE this addition to the food offerings in the parks. It's simple and hits the spot. People that just want a reular hot dog with the traditional basic toppings can grab that here but I love the Angey Dog option for something a little different. I topped my Angry Dog with the Raging Buffalo Sauce and it was spicy lunch heaven. I'd definitely stop here again on my next trip but I'm not sure how permanent it will be or if it's just a Pixarfest stand.
google avatar

Yonnie C.

Yelp
First time ordering an angry dog, a spicy hot dog and you can slather on the sriracha sauce. Comes with a bag of hot Cheetos. No AP discount.
google avatar

Bea's Y.

Yelp
It was tasty! I ordered the angry dog meal that came with a spicy hot dog and hot fries and the hubby and daughter ordered the regular hot dog meal. It was reasonable priced. They had a good selection of condiments to top your dog with from the usual mustard, ketchup and relish to some interesting spicy mustard and hot sauce. It was a good meal!
google avatar

Elena O.

Yelp
Honestly, not that bad. I ordered the angry dog. The hotdogs were pretty thick and the slight spice flavor made it even better. I was a bit disappointed that "spicy fries" were just the bag of chips. I was imagining like fries with yummy seasoning. Overall I would go here again cause the food was more on the cheap side compared to some other places in the park and it wasn't half bad.
google avatar

Kara M.

Yelp
The hot dogs are great but the cast members are even better! I had no idea what the difference was between the dogs but they really helped me understand. The spicy angry dog is my go-to thanks to Jamie, Ruben, and Cambria helping me make my decision. I would highly recommend this top-notch location in the center of Pixar Pier. Enjoy, lil lamps!!
google avatar

George D.

Yelp
Not very good hot dogs. They aren't grilled or made very well. I didn't get the spicy one so don't go to me on that. The hot dogs taste like they were thrown in a bowl of water and microwaved for 15 seconds. Smothering them in ketchup and mustard didn't even mask the taste of them very well at all. They are also the smallest hot dog ever and the only reason I gave 2 stars was because they gave me a bag of chips. Go waste your money on the corn dogs because it's pretty hard to screw up deep frying a food.

Elaine M.

Yelp
Cast Member Robbie! Is the absolute best! Such great energy and an inspirational cast member.

N. R.

Yelp
My son loved this place...super cute menu and food tasted fresh! They have different sauces and Chester fries with the spicy link

Lydia R.

Yelp
Best hot dogs in the park! Angry dog + bag of hot fries chips is an amazing lunch. Never a long line here, the food is always warm, staff is fast and friendly. I would definitely recommend this place over corn dog castle or award weiners.
