Yelp
(Tasted 05/24/19 FR @ 2:00pm): There was no need for any horse to be angry at this brewery!
I came across Angry Horse Brewing as I looked for investment properties and explored the city of Montebello. I had no idea of this brewery and instantly rounded the corner, found myself in their parking lot, and minutes later inside with a flight of beers in front of me. This impromptu visit lasted well into the evening while a friend decided to join me. Would I saddle up on this large pony again!?

SERVICE
Greeted by an attractive bar maiden, I told her I planned to sample all of the beers on tap and just systematically provide me with flights, which worked perfectly! She checked on me regularly and delivered my orders quickly. I stayed longer than expected for various reasons, but she made it all worthwhile; great job!
PARKING (FREE)
They had their own decent-sized private lot in the back. Otherwise, there appeared to be plenty of space along the main drag of Whittier Blvd. and surrounding streets - 'nuff said.
ATMOSPHERE, DÉCOR, AMBIENCE
A spacious warehouse-style building filled with short and tall communal tables along with a large L-shaped bar https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=lT8FHnMbwjroMy9XHXJXww&userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw, a merchandise rack https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=_BRXD6rlbfo1eOOIaANe9Q&userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw, tons of games, and paper beer menus https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=95Oi49n5mCuxSCvOAqM85g&userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw of draft and to-go https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=baNC0YwygxPuOr7IOFqTcA&userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw. Plenty of natural light entered through the front windows and doors while industrial electric ceiling lights filled in the rest. There were several large TVs while Doo Wop music blared in the background.
ATTIRE
Totally casual, so I would normally be in a t-shirt, boardshorts, and flip-flops.
OVERALL
Angry Horse Brewing was a fun find and would love to return. I generally like their beers (mostly the heavier ones), the atmosphere was alive, reasonable prices, and outstanding service. As with most breweries, you were allowed to bring your own food or purchase from a nightly food truck in their parking lot. I found very good value based on the prices, service, and experience noted above (TOTAL paid experience was around $59.00 BEFORE any discounts/tip). And, they accepted my credit card of choice...
