Angry Orchard Cider House

Such a beautiful place to relax and enjoy a cider flight! I tried First Crush, Albany Post, Headless Pumpkin, and Berry Bewitched (my personal favorite — I love anything with berries!). Headless Pumpkin was the group favorite, full of cozy fall spice. The staff were super friendly, and the orchard views are just stunning. They also have several food trucks with great options — fresh-made pizza, nachos on the go, and a few other tasty quick bites. And if you’re interested in the Treehouse Tasting, I recommend reserving early — it books up fast! Perfect spot for a laid-back afternoon — highly recommend! 🍎🍂

We hosted friends for our son’s 21st birthday at Angry Orchard This weekend. The staff was fabulous, letting us bring in a cake and decorations. Erin, our tour guide was really knowledgeable and we enjoyed every moment. Highly recommend!!

Dog friendly outside only! Has a good truck. Long walk from the large parking lot. Lots of handicapped parking. Overall nice place to relax, but pricier than other tap rooms, which comes with the name. Ordered a flight. I had their standard and the two other people I was with were a let o customize their flights since it was slow, but it had to be what was on draft. Everything was pretty tasty. Loved that there were certain ciders on tap that aren’t out in mass quantities. Food was typical. Menu was quite small for such a large place. Had the normal pizza and a pretzel. The great lawn outside was great especially at sunset. So much seating. And beautiful with the apple fields in the back.

I finally was able to visit again after 7 years! I can't believe every speck of the building still looks brand new and there are even more apple trees and space to enjoy indoor and out! With a variety of styles of cider this is the place for anyone who may or may not like cider or beer or wine (or pop!). Everyone working was so nice to me and helped me take my purchases out to the parking lot- bring a big bottle of cider to your holiday gathering this year- ciders that were grown here, pressed, fermented, and bottled ON SITE- you will absolutely be the talk of the table! Yes they have food too and our chef does not disappoint!

I visited angry orchard for the first time and I absolutely loved it! The atmosphere was amazing! The food was pretty good as well as their ciders ( & I’m not a cider lover but their apple crisps & berry bewitched is sooo good). I definitely recommend coming with a group of friends, it is really nice! I definitely plan to come again! :) also the customer service was great too!!

This place is a nice place to go if you want to be outside with friends and they do allow dogs on leash. Since it’s in the mountains, there’s a crisp breeze with the sunshine peeking through the orchard that feels amazing - bring a coat. First week of November gives you the perfect autumn foliage. The only day activities that are free are walking around the small map and trying to snag a free picnic table in the back. You can pay to have a tour however, that mostly gives you access to the treehouse, which is on elevated platform with limited seating. Their ciders are divine and they do have a gift shop that you can take some home. There are food trucks in the back however, when getting your meal it it’s best to eat it quickly or it will get cold since you’re outside in the wind. Best for when you wanna gather and sit outside and have a drink with others while your kid runs around in the small circle they provided. I recommend going after Halloween and before Thanksgiving.

Darrin was a fantastic tour guide! My group of 4 participated in the $25 cider tour that came with 2 tastings and we learned so much about the facility, history, and making of cider because of Darrin! He was a great storyteller and the cider was so good! I hope they continue serving the pumpkin cider next year because it was so delicious. We traveled about 1hr 20mins from New Jersey but it was worth the drive! Beautiful area with many things to do at the orchard besides the tour. The lines do get long at the food trucks sometimes but it's worth the wait!

The tour was fabulous and very educational! The food options weren’t great- wish they had soft pretzels- but it was fun to try the different flavors in the flight. Merch is way over priced in my opinion so I didn’t buy anything. It was fun to do once! Wouldn’t be a regular hang out.

We drove by the orchard multiple times when traveling for hikes upstate, finally decided to check it out. We tried a flight of ciders, Apple chips and an Apple dessert. There was very limited vegetarian/vegan food options, so if you don't eat meat/ dairy would recommend grabbing dinner before. Overall it's a relaxing space, there's plenty of board games and things to do inside as well as a fire pit outside. We also bought tickets for the barrel room tasting experience. They talked about cider production and then different types of cider. We got a chance to taste 2 different ciders, both were more unusual ciders that we never heard of before.

Womp womp From home to Angry Orchard - is 45 minutes. I drove my mother and my children after perusing the Angry Orchard website, to visit. Got there, and was greeted with bad news. The entire outdoor area is closed due to renovations. Awesome - glad they are updating but perhaps letting customers know ahead of time on your webpage, might be a proactive idea. We decided to stay for a bit ... but after sitting on a very long line for a cider or two, we decided to book it for the hills and head elsewhere. I am the winner of the 2023 second chance Yelp award so I will be returning to hopefully rate the experience better than this time around.

Such a fun place to visit! Loved trying the different ciders. The donuts were great too. Lots of outdoor space and there's a treehouse that you can go into. You can easily spend an entire afternoon here.

I really enjoyed my time at Angry Orchard! We did a tour of the cidery and a tasting. Our tour guides were very informative. I learned so much about the history of cider and how it's made. The ciders were really good--we got to try some exclusive ciders that they don't sell in stores. After our tour, we split a flight and really yummy donuts. We got to watch them be made live, which was so cool! My favorite was the S'mores donut, and my boyfriend really enjoyed the Cannoli donut. They also do serve pizza if you're looking for more of a meal. Overall this was a really nice day trip!

I had no idea that Angry Orchard had a cider house, so I was super excited to come here on a double date with my fiance. But oof - we really did not enjoy about 3/4 of the ciders in the flight. The 1/4 that we did like most closely resembled the usual Angry Orchard you would get in store. There was a cranberry pomegranate drink that was quite sweet and tasty though - would prefer that over the flight. Food isn't available by the cider house per se, but there are vendors outside. Aye Oh Donuts was there with their freshly fried up apple cider donuts (cash or venmo only) and hot cider (non-alcoholic). There was an additional food vendor out back cranking out tasty personal pizzas. Overall ambiance and vibes were good - definitely a great place for a catch up with friends if the weather is nice out. The staff upstairs when we first entered waa incredibly friendly, but some the staff downstairs was not so much (and Aye Oh Donuts was also not the kindest). Merch is available downstairs, and they also offer paid tours and barrel room tastings.

Cool spot to check out if you're in the area. Not sure if I would go out of my way for it though. Wanted to treat ourselves after a hike and stopped by along the way to only be turned down because they were overcapacity. Was feeling a little discouraged even though they said they might re-open later, but we eventually found the additional lot behind it and they let us in. Most of the apples have fallen off the trees around this time of the season (end of October), but it was nice to walk down the orchard. When we finally got to the venue, there was a pretty long line to get your IDs checked and to get in, but it moved fast. The cider house and area is a lot smaller than I thought it would be, but we managed to find a spot to lounge at. There's a bar upstairs, downstairs and outside. The upstairs bar has the extensive menu of ciders whereas the other bars have a more condensed menu. If you're going to order a flight, you don't get to choose which ciders you want to try. Most of the ciders we ordered were very enjoyable though. I really liked the Drop Top, which is a little higher in the ABV%. For a lighter cider, the Ruby Frost was pretty good too! There's some food trucks scattered around the back and a donut stand. The donuts were sooo good and I highly recommend getting them. They are made fresh in front of you and go by quick. Each donut ranged from $3-4 and a flight was $9. The cannoli donut was by far my favorite. Overall a nice experience here and I think it would be a great spot for a group if you're in the area.

Great place to visit for a day trip or hangout. Workers are super nice and the inside is very clean. Good assortment of ciders to choose from and they also offer a cider flight so you can taste different flavors. They have a variety of food trucks and some pizza/ sandwiches for purchase. We ordered the Hot & Sweet Pizza and the Pulled Pork Pizza. Both were really good and the size was enough for 4 people to snack on. MUST BUY - the apple cider donuts. They offer Cannoli, S'mores and regular apple cider donuts. They are made fresh and are honestly the best AC donuts I've ever had. TIP: Dog friendly establishment. I would also recommend bringing your own blanket and chairs. It starts getting packed around 12:00 on the weekends and tables are hard to come by.

I actually didn't know this place existed until my friend suggested to stop by on our way back down to NYC. It's a pretty big space. Once you get there, you're directed to the parking lot which has plenty of parking spaces. Then, you walk through the field, where you can see all the apple trees, until you reach the main cider house. But there's also a treehouse and a cider garden along the path too. They have tours available but my group of friends didn't plan ahead of time so all of the tours were booked already. Instead, we checked out the cider house where there was a good selection of ciders available, as well as frozen ciders, and you can also get some food. There were stands for donuts, non-alcoholic apple cider, and food trucks outside! There's an upstairs, which is where you walk in, and also downstairs and outdoor seating. However, there weren't many seats outdoors and it was so hot when we came that we decided to sit upstairs instead (there's also seating indoors inside but it was already so crowded). Upstairs was the least crowded and there are doors that lead to a space right next to the entrance outdoors as well. Overall, a nice casual place to relax and enjoy your time with some friends. I wouldn't go out of my way to visit unless you're a huge fan of Angry Orchard or want to learn more in a tour.

This was a nice location for us to visit after hiking. The cider house offered various draft, canned, and bottled cider for sale. We started off with their sampler which consisted of the dry ciders -- American holiday, beginnings without end, angry balls, and block party. My favorite cider was the 'hot winter cider' which I had ordered twice. It was warmed up apple cider with a hint of brown sugar. Perfect for the winter! They have freshly made apple cider donuts -- one of the season's best treats and other food. It was the perfect warmly spiced donuts. Their pulled pork hamburger was disappointing though. It was small (for $13) and sloppy to eat. We enjoyed the rest of the night at their cozy outdoor section which had a giant fire pit table.

Excellent customer service and views. The shop had great merchandise too. We had the meat lovers' pizza and the chicken parm pizza as well as two flights, frozen cider, and hot donuts. We tried the following ciders: Cinnful Ruby frost Crisp apple Blueberry rose Tropical Flex cherry Rose for sal Hardcore dark cherry Crimson spy Alyssa and Brittany from the shop were extremely gracious and kind. I would 100% recommend a visit.

Did the rooftop option and it was just me and my group so that made it an even greater experience. Got to know some history about the orchards and etc.. and tried 2 ciders. I'm not a big cider person, but it was a fun time. Over at the main area, they had bingo and that was also a lot of fun!! The pizza is delicious and their pretzels are soo soft. A lot of good photo ops too :)

I made the journey here from NYC with a train to Beacon and then a ride-share (30 minute) drive to get to the orchard. This is a MUST visit location and worth the 2-ish hours each way. Let's dive in... Treehouse Experience (5/5): This 280-year-old tree supports a stunning treehouse on the property. On the bottom are 3 super comfy swings while you wait and at the beginning of the tour guide's spiel. Our guide was reasonably knowledgable and very funny! He then took us upstairs where you get to try two ciders. That day they were serving Funk of the Gunk (a -- as the name implies -- funky tasting and tannin-forward flavor) and Blueberry Rose (a slightly sweet and tart blueberry-focused flavor). The guide also happily took pictures for anyone who requested. He also takes you on a journey to describe and appreciate each pour which was a fun way to enjoy them. Plus, the views were absolutely stunning! Stone Barn Tasting Experience (5/5): The servers here were incredibly personable and stuck around with our group even after our tasting formally ended and gave us a little bit of free food as we were the last group ahead of their event that evening. I tried their single origin selection and others in the group tried their natural selection -- and shared all so we could try lots. No one in our group got the rose selection. I absolutely loved mine the most -- all had varying flavors from funky to sweet to tart and are unique to their orchard. Their major nationwide distilling is done elsewhere so everything we enjoyed is pretty much only made and served on the farm. They give us some free popcorn which you serve yourself -- and after a few drinks that really hit the spot! I also added on their apple brandy (pictured) and it was dangerously good! Event (4/5): The event that evening was very cool as they brought in food trucks and a grill table. The food truck line was way too long so I got a bratwurst and a hamburger to share at their grill table. Both were tasty though the food truck looked more interesting. There wasn't too much as activity goes but they had cornhole out which our group took advantage of, plus a DJ. Overall Ambiance (4/5): The outdoor space is vast and flat. They have several tables with cute branded umbrellas plus a number of flat-top barrels. The bathrooms are clean and decor is welcoming (see picture). I would have loved for a few more seated areas and one grassy part was sparse and could have used more tables but that would be my only complaint. Cider (5/5): We got to enjoy so many varieties that aren't available in store and I'm here for it! Very much want to return just to keep trying some of their experimental and small batch ciders. Staff (5/5): Our group closed down the place (not our plan originally, but we had so much fun and lost track of time). Their staff was incredibly kind when one member of the group was finally pooped (read: drunk) and they brought us free donuts and bags of chips for them to eat and made sure we had a safe ride back (we took ride-share). TL;DR: Absolutely worth the journey to this gem of an orchard! 100% would recommend to a friend, and acquaintances alike.

I visited in November with a couple of my friends. It was such a lovely experience and a really fun activity to do if you want to infuse a version of wine tasting with apple picking. We did the StoneBarn experience and did a tasting for 4 drinks that we selected from a menu. I really wanted the Green Apple but they were sold out. Also, I thought the experience would incorporate some walking around but we remained inside because it was cold. You learn the history behind how the ciders are made and you can enjoy some popcorn. At the main house on the lawn, you can purchase apple cider donut and pizza. Heads up for the lines! The donuts are freshly made and they are worth it! Tip: Parking gets filled quickly so making a reservation can help you get parking onsite quicker. I highly recommend taking a trip to Walden for this!

This is a must do when traveling through NY state. We were on vacation in Ithaca, when I realized that this was about halfway home. Obviously we had to stop. The amazing thing about visiting the cider house is that you have the opportunity to try all of the test flavors of cider, that you cannot find elsewhere. The crew is friendly, warm, welcoming, and clearly very passionate about cider! We had flights of cider, as well as their slushy flavor of the season. I cannot remember the name of it, but it was tropical, light, and refreshing. The backyard is one of my favorite places, which lends itself to gorgeous views, lawn games, fire pits, and a killer 90's playlist. Be sure to visit the treehouse tasting room, just know that reservations for the treehouse tour are a must during the summer!

What a fun experience to go to the site of where Angry Orchard makes their ciders! The pizzas here are surprisingly good, and there are SO MANY different types of ciders to try there!! We particularly liked the apple pie cider that we ended buying a growler of, back to the city lol. Would recommend coming at least once on one of your upstate NY trips especially during fall. Get a tour of the treehouse too! (we did not do this due to not having availability when we booked our res - also, res helpful but not immediately necessary as of fall 2022). Was pretty empty at around 4 pm on a Saturday.

I live like 15 mins away from this place. Every time friends come into town I love taking them here. The cider is great. Occasionally they have fresh donuts and other good food. I would say sometimes their food portions are quite small for the price but everything that I have tried has been good. The staff is always friendly and helpful. And if they aren't busy they are happy to chat with you about the different drinks. I also bring my own growler to get refilled. Cute location and perfect for hanging out with a group.

Great way to spend a day. We did two tours. 1. Stone Barn. We enjoyed this tasting experience, though it is admittedly overpriced as compared to buying a flight at the bar. You get some education about the particular ciders that you select. 2. Barrel Room. Skip it. Not at all worth it. We were told very little about the cider making process. You get a crisp cider at the welcome, plus a sip of Edu and a bit of ice cider. Very short event. Food: 1. Pork pizza. Very good but wait was 45 minutes, which based on the comments of others we spoke to that day is "normal." If that's normal, something in the kitchen process needs to be adjusted. 2. Apple chips. Do not order. It's a bag of store-bought chips that you can get at the grocery store. Not made there. Huge waste. Overall, despite my middling reviews above, the overall day spent was a delight. Lesson learned that you don't actually need to spend the extra money to have an enjoyable experience, but I don't regret having done those things.

I have probably only found one hard cider here I actually like. However it is situated in a pretty landscape. Service here is moderately friendly. It can get pretty loud depending on the band playing.

We came 10 minutes before they opened and the 2nd lot was almost full. The way it was packed I was expecting a bit more. The food was decent but there wasn't any flavor. The ciders were good. The blueberry one was my favorite.The workers there truly are amazing. Honestly so nice and chill. The candle I bought exploded so I wouldn't buy that again. I had a good time though.

Finally made it here for a work event and it is so beautiful. It also helped that we had excellent weather because it was sunny and 75. I loved the outdoor area. They had plenty of seating with umbrellas and fire pits. The cider room tasting is located downstairs. I think it would be beneficial to probably add another Bar where folks can get drinks because the line did get long. Their food options were great. They had a little bit of everything. I also enjoyed the fact that it was dog friendly the ciders were delicious. Next time we will definitely try one of their tours because I heard great things about the treehouse. Highly recommend.

Really great ciders. I wish....I was able to get a lobster roll. Unfortunately they closed at a certain time or they ran out by around 4:40pm on Saturday. There is live music and freshly fried donuts. It was absolutely amazing. I wish they still had the large jugs to get the specialty flavors that you can't get in the store, but they had ran out of that too on Saturday.

Angry Orchard Cider House was an amazing time. Drinking both the green and blue flights to the face had me twisted at 12:00 in the afternoon. That tropical cider was something else. Highly recommend. Amazing BBQ. Mouth watering pizzas. Fun and interactive live musical performances. Learned how to line dance and sang my ass off. Dog friendly with a bunch of cute little puppies running around. Unique and personable vendors for some extra shopping. Overall, the perfect Fall vibe

We had such a good time at Angry Orchard!! This is such a beautiful place to come with the family and enjoy your afternoon. We tasted their Apple frozen drink and tasted their delicious donuts. (They only take cash at the donut place) you should definitely come and visit.

Came back to give this spot a second chance and I literally had an even worse time then the first time I came. I get that over the pandemic every business adapted to survive but the changes they made honestly just made me annoyed. 1. Last time I came we got a free tasting of 3 flavors of your choice. Coming back now it was $18. 2. Last time we came there were a bunch of food trucks. Now they serve their own $20 cardboard box "pizza's". Think bar pie with non melted cheese. When I asked what time the food trucks would show up two employees mentioned they don't have food trucks anymore because they have "food". 3. Last time we were here the prices for a glass of cider was about $3-$5 cheaper then they were this visit. The glasses are also half the size. After spending $250 between three of us on two pizzas and drinks none of us even got a buzz. Not worth coming here. Check out Warwick Wineryor Pennings Orchard if you want good hard cider that is more affordable.

Going down hill... I really enjoyed coming here in the past but I'm not sure what is going on lately. We came on a Saturday afternoon/evening and their outside are was not good- hardly enough tables/chairs were set up. They had explicit music blasting- not good for kids for sure. The grass wasn't even mowed. Then to get a drink, be ready to wait 15-20 minutes. Not because they were under-staffed just because they really didn't have it together. Not coming back any time soon.

staff was knowledgeable about history and flights of drinks. Keep in mind when i went it was cold and raining so the experience wasn't the same as if i went in good weather. since it was raining youre very limited to where you can go and explore and do.

We were driving back from Saratoga when I literally spotted the Angry Orchard Cider House on google maps. It was a gorgeous day so we decided to stop in for a drink. Its a vast beautiful property of rows and rows of apple trees. You're free to explore the grounds. We had drinks at the main cider house. There were 2 flight options and we decided to get both. It was fun to try them all but our favorite was the Cinnful by faaar (described as "The return of a classic. Sweet, slightly tart apple flavor with a spicy cinnamon twist. 5% ABV."). Great ambience outdoors, but they definitiely could double or triple the number of tables. We were lucky to snag a spot. They also have tons of swag and cans of the various flavors you can grab to go. We'll be back for the Treehouse tour and more Cinnful cider!

Parking is absolutely ridiculous. The best code users are what they already distribute. The tap room only ciders are all something that we could have done without. The grounds are nice with outdoor picnic benches.

I love hard cider and finally took a trip to Angry Orchard! My friends and I decided to do the Stone Barn tasting, where we got to learn a lot about the orchard itself! The ciders on site are experimental and not the classic Angry Orchard ciders you buy at the store so it was a cool experience. For the tasting, it comes with 3 drinks and free popcorn, and there are add-ons if desired. We wanted to also get food at the main cider house but by the time our tasting was done around noon, the place was packed! Surprisingly there is not a lot of seating, which is unfortunate considering how popular this place is. While we didn't mind waiting in line for drinks and food, we didn't realize there were two different lines for the food so we realistically did not want to wait again, especially since it was outside in the cold. Overall, it was a nice time with friends, but honestly not worth the trip.

This is probably my fifth visit here over the years of bringing family & friends to share the beauty of the orchard as many of us enjoy breweries! This does not disappoint. We arrived around 1p in Sunday & the orchard was hopping with people. There was no wait to enter, bring your drivers license as they are required to do proof of age & are given a wrist band. The weather was perfect & we were able to sit outside on the covered patio with a gentle breeze floating by made this the perfect spot to celebrate our dear friend's surprise birthday. The hard cider & soft drinks available this is the perfect spot for all ages. This is the first time trying the pizza & it was fantastic! The band started a but late but were okay.

Had a blast. Willow was a great facilitator for our Tree House Experience! Love everything about this place! Definitely need to Come back for more donuts and Albany post cider! The energy of this place is perfect. When you enter from the upstairs it feels like you're going into a speakeasy. Love love love it!

First time visiting Angry Orchard after wanting to check it out for a while. It was packed on a Saturday in September. Parking was easy though. We walked up to the cider house and sat outside. Cider flights - I got the dry flight and my sister got the sweet flight (purchase outside). They were pretty good tasting wise, and the value was fair ($12) We also ordered 2 pizzas inside. The braised pork pizza was good! The specialty pizza that day was lemon chicken which was not tasty. We also wanted to purchase a bottle of cider to enjoy outside but were unable to. They only let us purchase by the cup which was $9 for one dry cider (forgot the name). The frozen mango cider was good! We also got cider donuts outside- the cannoli ones were so tasty Overall a good time, just have to know what to order.

I highly recommend booking an experience/tour/tasting in advance, especially during the busy fall season. Absolutely loved the Tree House Experience. Super interesting and beautiful views of the property and peak foliage. Only complaint would be that they could use some more bathrooms with how busy they are

I stopped by on a Saturday afternoon after hiking close to Walden and thought it was a pretty good time. Great for tacking onto plans that would have already brought you to the area. When you arrive, there is a main entrance you drive past but don't actually go there after you park. Go the "opposite direction" and you will stumble upon the different buildings/attractions like the treehouse, cider garden, and main cider house. The small party I was with went straight to the main cider house for some food and drink. I got a (dry) flight, split pizzas, and two sweet ciders. The food was alright. The potato and rosemary pizza was decent in flavor, but it was unfortunately extremely dry. Would not recommend. The pesto tomato pizza was better and didn't have the potato pizza's dryness problem. It was cheesy, gooey, and saucy. It seems pretty worthwhile to check out the outside food available like the food trucks. The ciders were good and neat to have them right from the source. I thought the sweet ciders were tastier, but happy with getting to sample some of the dry.

Strap in..because this review goes pretty deep. Let me start out by saying that this review is coming from the point of view of someone who has been in the customer service arena for over 25 years. With that being said..let me take you on a journey..a journey in which you enter through gates onto a breathtaking property in Walden, NY. Where you see acres of apple trees meticulously kept and majestic mountains as a backdrop. Lot attendants direct you to where you can park (for free). Your first attraction is called the Stone Barn where you can sample some of the on-site made hard ciders. It is also a meeting place for tours and custom tastings, if you happen to have registered for one (cost applies to these tours and/or tastings). Also, located at this part of the property is the famous Tree House, where you can take a tour and experience the view of the orchard from a small bar area located at the top of the tree. Hard ciders are available on tap at the tree house also. The tree house does close during certain times of the year, so call ahead if you plan on checking it out. A short trail takes you through the orchard itself to the main cider house. At this location you are greeted by a front desk host/hostess who will check your ID (if you were not already carded and wristbanded at the Stone barn). You will be advised of what the property offers which is stated in the following. There is an upstairs bar that has dozens of Angry Orchard exclusive hard ciders and a large sitting area with both indoor and outdoor seating available. There is a huge fireplace located on the outside patio which is great for keeping warm and taking pictures in front of. There are a few items for sale upstairs like hats and mugs also. There are men's and woman's bathrooms on this floor. I can only speak on the men's room, but it was extremely clean and always is whenever I frequent this establishment. There is also a viewing deck where you can sit at a table and look at all of the equipment that is used to make the hard cider. This area is also used when you take a tour of the facility (charge associated with tour). I have taken a tour and it was really informative and fun. The tour guides are extremely knowledgeable and teach you a lot about cider making and the history of the orchard. They also are quite entertaining and will make you feel at home. You can also go downstairs by taking one of two sets of stairs or via an elevator. Downstairs boasts the main room, which reminds me of something out of Harry Potter movie or a Viking dining chamber. There are vaulted ceilings with wooden beams and a full glass wall 20 feet high at the back of the room so you can enjoy the view of the orchard and mountains. There are dozens of long tables that you can sit at family style also. There is of course a full bar downstairs that offers signature hard cider cocktails and drafts. They offer seasonal item such as frozen colada like drinks made with hard cider in the summer and hard hot cider in the winter. There is also a retail area downstairs that you can buy growlers, cans and bottles of their hard cider. They also have unique apparel and little curiosities like candles, backpacks, coasters and much more. There is of course a men's and ladies room on this floor also. You can exit the main room onto the back part of their property where they have dozens of picnic tables with umbrellas, in case inside is too crowded. Pets are welcome outside and you can even get a water dish for your pet from a bartender if you left yours at home. The food they offer is perfect. During the summer they offer a variety of different types of pizzas that are sure to satisfy every palate. In the winter they change things up a bit and offer a wide base of sandwiches and other fair that appeals to everyone. They often have themed parties (ticket purchase required) like 80's night, trivia, and open mic nights. During certain weekends they will also have live entertainment at the downstairs bar or outside if weather permits. Lastly, the staff at Angry Orchard is unparalleled. They will make you feel at home the moment you walk onto their grounds. They are kid friendly of course but all of the ciders are alcoholic but they do offer cans of soda and juice pouches. This is the perfect place to go with a bunch of friends, on a date or to rent out for a special event. You should know that if you go during the busy months of September through October..plan on waiting in line for drinks and food. The place gets packed! I would suggest going during a nice weekend in early spring if you are traveling from out of state. Also be sure to check their hours of operation since they are not like a regular bar and close in the late afternoon or early evening. I have never had a bad experience at Angry Orchard and would highly recommend checking it out if you are in the area.

Visited Angry Orchard for my Bday and had a great time! We did the tour which is super informative, about the history and most important you get to taste items that are not out in the public market to include vine. I was disappointed that unlike other places I've done tasting they do not give you the cup, but they give you the option to purchase it at their store. The back yard has beautiful views of the orchard with available seating inside and out. Everyone was extremely friendly the list of available flavors is awesome. Definitely a place I'll be going back to take out of town visiting friends.

Angry orchard is such a great combination of family friendly and fun. I always have a positive experience between the staff and drinks/food. Overall a great place to experience

This is such a pleasant, family friendly experience. A must visit if you are in the wallkill area. It provides a beautiful view, the cider is great, the atmosphere is so welcoming.

They do not have Apple cider donuts on a weekday. They have a separate vendor for that only the weekends! I wish we knew before we went. Also their variety of food was very limited on their menu and the quality was just okay.

This is the coolest spot! It has great drinks and an amazing atmosphere. They have live music and games outside to play with, including corn hole. There are multiple bars inside and plenty of seating. It's nice too because all the seating outside is spaced well to be socially distant. If you have guest visiting this is the spot you have to take them to. One thing that is super cool about going here is that they have new and yet to be released flavors. You can do tasting flights (which used to be free but I think you have to pay now) or make a specialty drink. They sell food and have food trucks on the property. When I was there they had pizzas, pulled pork sandwiches, and apple donuts. I totally say get the pulled pork sandwich it was Smokey and cooked to perfection. I'm drooling just thinking about it now.

This was more of a novelty than anything. We drove an hour and a half to meet up with friends here. My other half loves cider. I'm a beer guy myself, but will drink cider when it's what's available. First off, the grounds: They are stunning. I could not imagine a more picturesque setting for a place like this. It was such a cool place to hang out. The interior is rustic and well-done, and the outdoor fireplace was a cool feature to sit by with our group. Walking around and seeing the brewing equipment was also very fun and interesting. This was all very enjoyable. The cider: I mean, it's cider. It was good. They had offerings that I have never seen in a store, which were fun to try. However, at their prices for a partially-filled plastic cup of cider, the day graduated into being very expensive very quickly. I don't know if it's state law up there, but they don't give you a full pour. By comparison, a draft pour at any Jersey craft brewery is cheaper, bigger, and better. However, for the sake of a fun and interesting day out, I could overlook this. We still had fun trying the various ciders. My main gripe: The FOOD. Options are limited. Given where you are, you're at their mercy. I wanted to love it, as it was my only option. I wanted to eat the whole thing, as I was starving, but I couldn't. I wanted to believe it would be amazing based on what they were charging. I had such optimism for it, but I was met with disappointment. The pizza...oh, the pizza (if you want to call it that), was downright horrible. Filed it in the trash and we still joke about it.

This place may look great in the photos but really not worth the drive. Came up from Long Island to find it absolutely packed with people (probably from NYC) who all came for their fall instagram photo. Cider wasn't to our taste either but the biggest let down was the small area for so many people to have a drink. Went to order a pizza and was told there was an hour wait - then while waiting in line for nearly an hour for a hot cider donut, one of the other patrons mentioned that the pizza was terrible. Save your time and go to Harbes Orchard on Long Island if youre coming from that area, if not, there a plenty of other orchards and farms upstate to enjoy! We ended up driving 15 minutes up the road to Wrights farm which also has an orchard, a beautiful barn beer garden, as well as a farm shop and fields you can enjoy the sunset on.

Such a cool experience and great fall thing to do. Their ciders in person were way better than in the bottle. Staff was super friendly, great atmosphere!

My first time here and I loved it. Was a bit cold so honestly I did not get the full affect of it all. But the ciders - oh yeah! Delish!! My favorite was the hot cider - please try it!! Outside is beautiful, especially with the sun going down. The service is basically just going to the counter and ordering. The food is finger food pizza chips etc; oh but try the chicken pizza it's awesome. What I don't like is - and I see this more n more, leaving a tip at the counter for just ordering, no! But I'm coming back, lol

Great orchard. They do a dry and sweet flight as well as tours. I came on my birthday and when they checked my ID, they noted it was my birthday and they gave me a token to use on a free drink or flight. I came in with a group of 4, ordered 2 pizzas and a flight of donuts. We got both flights as well as pretty much everything else on the menu. Spicy bbq chicken pizza is more sweet than spicy. Potato and rosemary is a little heavy and kind of bland so I recommend getting all the extra spices. Surprisingly, the donuts weren't as sweet as I expected. I love that on site, there is dryer stuff compared to what they sell in markets. I cannot drink their market things anymore, too sweet but I would come back here. Out of all the ones we've tried, old fashioned was our favorite.

Fun spot!! The tour & taproom are perfect for spending a laidback afternoon hanging out and sipping on cider with friends. I stopped by recently (which is winter/off-peak season for the cidery), and it actually worked out in our favor with no large crowds or lines to deal with. Apparently the cidery can get pretty hectic during the fall season, and you may need to reserve tours in advance. My group was lucky and we were able to sign up for a Barrel Room Tour on the spot, which gave us an insight into Angry Orchard's history and the cider process, and it also included a few cider tastings (Rose for Sal, EDU, Iced Cider). Our tour guide Brian was incredibly friendly, informative, and so patient with all our questions... you can tell that he's clearly very passionate about his job! The tour ended near their souvenir shop and taproom, where we enjoyed a few flights of cider and food (the baked brie was a huge highlight!). Fun experience all around. I'd love to return during the fall when they also serve apple cider donuts!

We've been coming here for 5 years now and it's great to see how much this place has grown. They offer so many delicious ciders and we usually opt for the flights when we're here. We loved the treehouse tour too! There's often food trucks and donuts here to purchase. It's so relaxing sitting outside in the orchard on their picnic tables enjoying some cider. The staff here is so friendly and even when it's crowded, it doesn't take too long to get drinks.

Stopped by for a quick tour and tasting on the way home from a weekend getaway. Our tour guide was amazing, he was patient and very informative. He seemed to really enjoy what he was doing. We went during off-season so it wasn't busy at all. I was able to book the tour guide right away online on their website. The flights we had, sweet cider was great. I loved seeing all the apple trees and the process of making the cider throughout the tour. The service was excellent. We had the baked brie set and it was very filling for 2 people. I would be back here during the fall season to try the apple cider donuts.

Love coming here for a day trip! I'm a by fan of angry orchard and their ciders, so it's a great opportunity to taste some new flavors that aren't available for the general public. We rented a fireplace outside for two hours, the staff there was super attentive and made sure the fire never went out and didn't make us feel like we had to be rushed out of there. I can't wait to come back here when it starts getting warmer.

We had the best time thanks to an employee named Alex. Alex went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and taken care of. We rented a fire pit and they tended to our every need and order. Alex offered to pick up our food, recommended drinks, set us up with blankets, helped us with the wood and did more than we could ask for. Food was great and had plenty of gluten free options. Great ambiance! Definitely intend to come back for more during the warmer season and hope to see Alex again!
