"The neon signage is its visual calling card, but what’s made this Vietnamese restaurant a Mills 50 pillar is its no. 13 (banh xeo), no. 17 (banh mi thit nuong), and no. 75 (bun bo hue) — classics that folks have been indulging in for more than a quarter century. There’s no shortage of beverages offered either — sugar cane juice is a favorite; the durian smoothie not as much." - Faiyaz Kara

An old establishment serving delicious Vietnamese cuisine for well over 20 years, perhaps longer. Their beef Jerky papaya salad is absolutely delicious as are traditional Vietnamese dishes. I personally love the Salty plum soda (an acquired taste), and their bubble teas, fruit shakes, and custom drinks are amazing as well.

The place looks nice. I would try here again probably not before closing the staff although nice kept messing up my families orders and brought out food & drinks randomly for different people. We had to keep correcting them or different orders and drink orders were coming incorrectly. My thai ice tea was ok. I have had better & it was mostly ice for the price point it wasn't worth it. The wings are really good & flavorful. Number 5 the rolls with chicken was good. I got myself got the pork fried rice. It lacked flavor but using soy sauce & chili oil made it better. Coming a bit earlier or maybe with a small party might make the ordering better. You can tell with a party of 6 coming within an hour before closing might have been too much to handle. As I said I would try here again and see about a different experience. We liked some of the food and others lacked flavor or was done right the first time. Once again friendly staff but our waiter seemed to be a bit overwhelmed to the point another staff member took our food orders (maybe she was the owner)maybe due to timing of the evening or something. 3.5 out of 5 in my opinion, try here and see for yourself.

Google
The REAL thing! Authentic Vietnamese cuisine. Ordered #47 Beef noodles soup, cannot go wrong. Superb! Great service. For a singaporean, this is as good as it gets in Orlando. The toilet is clean and very well kept / maintained, an important factor for many.

Google
We read reviews for the restaurants and gave it a try. We ordered different kinds of foods such as Bun Bo Hue, Pho, Mi Quang, Banh Canh, Com Suon Dac Biet, Com Bo Luc Lac, and Com Chien Thap Cam, and Bun Thit Nuong Cha Gio….Portion for foods were just right for each person. Foods were good, especially dry foods and there were so many choices for the family. If you were around Orlando, give it a try!

Google
Amazing atmosphere and good food! Cindy the owner even came out to visit, talk to us, and even take pictures for us! Highly recommend this place for Vietnamese food!

Google
Excellent service. The Pho Tai Nam Gan pho noodle with rice noodle soup was amazing. Best in Orlando. The coconut was flavorful and a spoon & straw.

Google
Ordered the com suon heo bi cha for $16.95. The food came out quickly because the place was empty. Not the best (flavors were a bit bland and meat could have been more tender), but the portion size was crazy. If you’re just looking for something decent and filling, then this would be the spot for you.

Google
I lived in Da Nang for 3 years and can attest that Ảnh Hồng is super legit. The Mi Quang Cao Lau #68 is the best Mi Quang I’ve had stateside. The atmosphere is so Viet - right down to the playlist and lighting. The workers sit for their staff meal and the neighborly feel reminds me of being back. Amongst the many Viet restaurants near by this is a do not miss.

Chloe M.

Yelp
Super nice workers, very helpful and answered all my questions. Not too loud music, seemed really calm and quick service (I only ordered take out though which was quick as well). I ordered 7 banh mi but will have to update on how it tastes later. I can say they made it exactly how I asked for since I'm traveling with it and did want them to get soggy. They gave me a Che 3 Mau and I'm usually not a fan of it, but theirs reminds me of how my ba ngoài would make it and it's by far my favorite.

Vijay B.

Yelp
Great food. Vegetarian 145. Always consistent. Sauce quantity reduced. Vegetarian Banh-Mi is good. Used to have soup as well.

Yelp
Today was the perfect cold weather day for a bowl of Anh Hong's noodle soup. I stopped by at 10am for an order to-go of their Garden Rolls and Mi Thap Cam (yellow egg noodle soup with shrimp, squid, crab meat, and roast pork). I can never pass up their rice paper rolls with peanut sauce (it's fantastic!). Their noodle soup was delicious, with fresh vegetables for garnish, and I really enjoyed the flavorful broth. Anh Hong's dining room is cozy and bright. Service is excellent. It's a great spot to dine in, but today's order was just as delicious on-the-go!

Yelp
I got a recommendation to come here while visiting Orlando and Anh Hong Restaurant did not disappoint. It was pretty busy for a Wednesday afternoon. A lot of other Vietnamese people which means, it's authentic and good. Service was a bit spotty since they were busy. My husband and I ordered: Bo Mi Bo Kho, Banh Beo Chen Hue, Chau Tom + Nem Nuong Cuon Banh Trang, Che Ba May, and Xi Muoi (salty plaum drink). Everything was delicious, so authentic and home made. It hit the spot. I highly recommend Anh Hong Restaurant for a delicious home cooked meal.

Victoria N.

Yelp
Very quick service and is once of the only Vietnamese restaurants that offered vegetarían options of traditional foods. The banh xeo was crispy, although very greasy

Diana S.

Yelp
Very nice customer service. Ordered to go. Banh mi was delicious. We saved for the next day and they separated the veggies so it wouldn't be soggy the next day.

Kai L.

Yelp
Service and food were good. Prices very acceptable. A little cramped for space. Pretty typical Viet place.

Yelp
The food ok not too bad, clean table, clean utensils but food too salty dan missing ingredient in my food.

Yelp
DISCLAIMER: I live in LA and I get amazing pho there so I'm doing my best to not judge my food by LA standards. Overall, this was a good bowl of pho! The broth starts off a bit bland but you just tweak it to your liking. The beef balls are solid and the texture was good. The portion is just right. The only issue was that when we walked in, the restaurant smelled like nail polish??? We probably got used to it over time but still??? Service is good, and bonus points to the staff for staying open on Thanksgiving and being in good spirits about it!

Kailyn V.

Yelp
Loved this place! Best pho I've had in Orlando. Definitely a mom & pop shop which makes it better. The spring rolls were tofu & so was the pho. Love how they really put a lot of veggies in my pho. Location is right on the corner can't miss it, stays open late.

Yelp
The food was so delicious and left us all in a food coma HAHA, service was great and the owner even came and started talking with us. We will definitely be coming back to join the clean plate club again:)

Yelp
This is a solid choice for authentic Viet pho dac biet and seafood stir fry dishes. i have had my fair share of top pho restaurants so i would consider myself hard to please. They have sriracha which is a necessity for me with americanized pho. We tried the lemongrass basil clams and that was tasty as well. their drinks are pricey in my opinion for a restaurant and wasnt amazing. service was attentive with a young gentleman who graciously provide us with additional iced and filtered water so that we stayed cool eating piping hot pho. While in the orlando area we also tried pho huong lan and twenty pho hour which i did not find as solid as this place. we came on a recent saturday for lunch before noon and it was easy to get a seat, although the locals started coming in around 12:30-1. parking as someone else said could be a pain but luckily we found street parking just outside.

Yelp
So it's been a while since I have been back to this restaurant and it is just as amazing as I remembered... maybe even better! Anh Hong is an Orlando staple when it comes to Vietnamese food and they have been around for years. This week I was able to meet up with a few friends to grab dinner since we were all craving traditional Vietnamese food. Since I was on this side of town, I recommended this spot to my friends who have never been. When you first arrive, there is a front door entrance or a back door entrance with ample parking. The restaurant itself is very quaint and has a nice mom and pop feel. Upon entering we were greeted immediately by multiple workers, which definitely felt very inviting. Our server was so charismatic, and gave us great suggestions and recommendations. He was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. The owner also came to our table and talked to us for a bit as well... even joking around with us a bit which I thought was super personable. For the food, we ordered a few different items, spring rolls, pho, chicken curry, Korean short ribs and rice, and egg rolls with rice noodles. Let me tell ya'll... the food is just ridiculously good! The pho had such a nice savory broth... both rice platters had such a great balance in flavors... and the rice noodles with the fish sauce cmon now I challenge you to name a better duo. I also truly appreciated that the restaurant even honored a Yelp deal I had from a while back ago for a free appetizer, which I honestly did not expect for them to do. Overall, I can't say enough about this place... whenever I am around the area and want a good home cooked tasting meal... this is one of the places I think of. I would definitely recommend this spot for folks looking for some tasty Vietnamese food around the colonial area.

Yelp
First of all, service is excellent! I went in to do a takeout. Everyone there is so welcoming. There Vietnamese sandwich is so delicious. The bread was just the right amount of crispness. Not too hard or too soft like other places in the Bay area, California. It was so good we came back for more sandwiches!

Jocelyn A.

Yelp
One of our favorites for authentic Vietnamese food! Always delicious, next time you are there try your Pho with glass noodles! If you are feeling adventurous show them a photo of the appetizer we shared & order it, it's one of my most favorite things I've ever eaten, a sweet and spicy sauce poured on top of crunchy onion & a rice patty stuffed with shrimp, trust me it's good! Small space so weekends are busy but worth the wait!

Patricia N.

Yelp
Excellent variety but there are some definite hits and missed throughout the menu. Hits: - ca kho to (caramelized catfish) - canh chua (sweet and sour soup) - #161 veggies (stir-fried water spinach) Misses: - ca phe sua da (at nearly $8 including tax, it's not worth the price) -banh uot/banh cuon (the fish sauce is too sweet and the rice crepes don't seem fresh) - bo luc lac (shaking beef is not tender and fairly bland)

Jamie T.

Yelp
The food is quite good and service is very good as well. Ambiance is pretty typical for a Vietnamese restaurant. The only criticism that I have is how fatty the pho is. You can see fat bubbles on the surface of my pictures. I'm probably going to get a stroke later but that's okay, that's probably why the pho was very good!

Elisha B.

Yelp
The best way to describe this, is a warm hug in a bowl. We have tried plenty of Pho spots around Orlando. Some are viral on TikTok, but this spot I want to selfishly not share so it's not super crowded! LOL My family loved everything from the service to the food. The place is clean, small, and like eating with family. The broth was so well seasoned. We love it and will be a new regular!

Quy M.

Yelp
I've made the mistake of trying several other vietnamese restaurants in the area the past couple years when we were in Orlando. This IS the spot for delicious vietnamese food. Tonight we stopped by for spring rolls, pho, beef rice plate, beef stew and smoothie. All delicious and service was excellent.

W S.

Yelp
Always a great experience here. Food is excellent and fun environment. The music here on Saturday night has a trance sound.

Rick C.

Yelp
Service here was good but we had a slight language barrier. Our waitress was definitely trying to up-sell at every opportunity. We ended up with more appetizers and drinks than we wanted, mostly due to the language barrier. All of our dishes were flavorful. The cha gio was very good with nuoc mam, but the spring rolls did not taste fresh. I ordered a noodle dish with lemongrass chicken and vegetables. It was very tasty but luke warm. We also ordered bun rieu and bunBo; both soups were very good. The dining area was informal and smallish. They posted lots of awards from years ago. Parking was challenging. The restaurant is at a busy intersection and I didn't see a dedicated parking lot so we parked on the street. There are so many options for Vietnamese food in this area. This place is worth a try!

Yelp
I was in this area for business and had just drove 4 hours, I was starving and drove by this place. I am so glad I stopped and tried it. This is a small authtentic Vietnamese restaurant with great tasting food The service was okay, could've been better. It was a Friday night, it wasn't too packed which was nice cause I was seated right away. It was decorated for Chinese new year, which was very cute and colorful. It felt a little crowded but still very tidy & clean. Our server greeted us well however while we there, she was not very attentive. For appetizer I got the spring rolls, which were very crispy & fresh & went great with the sauce that comes with it. I also got the chicken pho that was amazing! I've had chicken pho before but so far this place has had the best one. The broth had so much flavor, the chicken was tender and noodles were perfectly done. They bring out toppings to add to your soup that just pair well with the broth. Will be making this spot a must everytime I visit the Orlando area and try new Vientnamese food.

Diana L.

Yelp
Good for Vietnamese family style meals to share. Braised Catfish with Claypot is good here

Sarah H.

Yelp
Good Vietnamese food, plenty of options and variety, friendly customer service, clean restaurant & restrooms. we'll definitely return the next time we're in town! My husband raves their Vietnamese ice coffee being legit as he had them in Vietnam! The bánh mì (baguette) was soft and crunchy and packed with the basics and flavors - affordable too! We tried a variety of items & love most of them! Mi Quang was good, but a bit too salty with bacon in the soup, would've been more authentic if it was minced pork. Tre Thai Trai Cay was in pretty layers with jackfruit & longan pieces - but too sweet for me and not enough fruits variety. My favorite dishes this trip were Banh beo Dac Biet, Cơm Sườn Heo Thit Cha, and Pho Dac Biet.

Joyce L.

Yelp
I love Vietnamese food so I looked forward to coming to a new place to experience the food. Early Thursday evening and we were the only ones in the restaurant. The service was still great though as our waiter was funny and took the time to offer explanations on what we're eating. My husband ordered fried rice and I had pho. Fried rice was good but the portion was small and a little overpriced. There were plenty of options on the menu including a large variety of bubble teas. We will come back but probably order something else not too pricey.

Steven N.

Yelp
I used to come here often, but lately I been trying to go else where. Service has gone down and the pho...it's just not the same. It's still decent , but it's a hit or miss. Some times is very bland other times it's quite flavorful. I also hate the fact that now they have "2 different size" bowls when it reality the bigger one is not that much bigger. But I guess that's a way for them to charge you more? Just do the regular size bowl.. trust me it's not that big of difference is quantity of noodles/beef.

Quang T.

Yelp
I am so glad to find this little gem in Orlando! Being Vietnamese and from the West coast, I've been trying to find an authentic Vietnamese restaurant in Orlando to satisfy my cravings. Anh Hong is definitely one of my go-to places! My friend and I ordered Bánh Bèo which is a street food consisting of steamed rice cake that can be topped with dried shrimp, mung beans, fried onions/garlic and fish sauce. We judge our Vietnamese dishes by how good the fish sauce concoction is. The fish sauce here was delicious, balancing the salty, umami flavors with a bit of sugar, and acid from fresh lime juice. We also tried Bún Mắm which is a vermicelli noodle dish where the broth is flavored with shrimp paste topped with eggplant and seafood. This is definitely not a dish for the light-hearted as the shrimp paste gives off quite a funk for those not used to it. But for the initiated, this dish definitely satisfies those umami, salty, funky notes on the taste buds! TLDR; great place for some hard-to-find traditional Vietnamese food in Orlando. Would recommend for the more adventurous foodies out there!

Yelp
As soon as we walked into the restaurant, we were greeted by the staff and promptly seated. Our server arrived at our table in just a few minutes to take our order. We decided to try a small bowl of pho ga and pho bo tai gan sach, along with rau ma and a cup of ca phe sua nong. The drinks arrived at our table shortly after ordering, and we were impressed by the quick service. The restaurant had a peaceful ambiance, making it an ideal spot for a relaxed dining experience.

Ryan Z.

Yelp
Food: The food is delicious, best experience ever. Service:The service is great, she always come to ask if you need more water or how is the taste of the food. Environment: The decoration is decent too.

Cemby K.

Yelp
The spring roll was good, peanut butter dipping sauce was on point. Hu Tieu broth was pretty bland and was lacking that fried garlic taste but after adding a lot of your own spices (fish sauce/hoisin/siracha etc) it wasn't too bad 3/5 IMO. The combo pho that the rest of the family got was good though, the beef broth was full of flavor. Next time I would stick to the pho vs the other specialty noodle soups. Service was good and our waiter was attentive. The price of each meal I thought it was pretty spendy for the amount of food that we got. $15-16

Virginia T.

Yelp
After trying Pho at so many places, it's the quality that brings me back to Ahn Hong. Although I was a little disappointed the last time I was here, it's good to come back to my favorite place with good quality and great service. There's no place like home...

Brenna P.

Yelp
amazing Vietnamese food on colonial. I read some reviews about the parking situation, but we walked so I can't comment. I will say the service was fantastic. Our waitress was so friendly, and our food came out lightning quick. She even gave me suggestions for what to order next time since I loved the dish I ordered so much (bun thit nuong). The second best dish was the spring rolls. Can't wait to go eat more.

Mai T.

Yelp
One of the best places for Vietnamese food. I would list it under cheap eats of Orlando. The service is quick and nice. They have a big menu, but I always, always order the eggs rolls and a big bowl of Bun Bo Hue, super spicy. It never disappoints. Definitely one of my weekly go-to places!

Chris K.

Yelp
Great authentic Vietnamese restaurant! The food was spectacular with a lot of flavor. Very small establishment, and the service was amazing and quick. Parking is the hard part but we decided to park down the lot near the boba tea mogee shop

Veenu B.

Yelp
Had my usual #145 for lunch. Starters were a vegetarian Bahn Mi and summer rolls platter that we split. Their vegetables are always fresh and the food is always good. A little on the dry side recently and more sauce would be welcome to soak in the rice. All in all, a good meal, and the Bahn Mi was tops! Perfectly warm and crunch in the bread, with fragrant cilantro!

Sheryl K.

Yelp
A family favorite for years! When your adult children fly into Orlando and want to head here first before going home, it's their place of food memories where everything is delicious!

Nathan N.

Yelp
Got the pho Dac Biet and it was "okay." Two bowls for $30 kind of costly. I have yet to try the other stuff so my first impression is a grain of salt. But by the end of the hour I did not have extreme diarrhea so that means the msg level wasn't too high.

Kitty R.

Yelp
I love this place, its food and its employees. Service is excellent for dine-in and takeout. I love sitting by the window at lunch time, ordering pho and watching the drama unfold at the vape shop across the street. Once they sent a delivery order with a slight mistake, and they immediately fixed it for me. Just great people and great food with VERY good prices.

Unknown D.

Yelp
Food was very good and authentic great place overall the pho broth was worth the trip Highly recommend coming to this place when in town 10/10

Marisa C.

Yelp
5 Stars for bringing it back to some amazing food! This use to be our go-to spot when we first moved up to Orlando. We haven't been back in so long and so glad we visited last weekend. Starting out with a free summer roll (thanks Yelp check-in, yay!) They come with two paper wrapped rolls with vermicelli noodle, shrimp and pork and a peanut dipping sauce. Almost always order the bahi mi with BBQ pork, $5. The sandwich was as good as I remember, crispy with all the toppings. This time we tried the noodle bowl with chicken $12 which was super tasty and huge! So much food, mote than enough to share. The broth had the right amount of texture, and didn't feel too salty. Love when you revisit a place you haven't been to in years and it knocks your socks off. If you haven't been, just go now!!

Chris T.

Yelp
Anh Hong has a special place in my heart. It was the first Viet restaurant I tried when I moved to Orlando and 6 years later (even after dozens more Viet restaurants) it's still my favorite. It's un-pho-getable. So I give this gift of a recommendation pho you. Try it out, you'll see the distinctive neon sign right on the corner of Mills50. Look for parking behind Tien Hung market on Thornton Ave, there's a dedicated back entrance so you don't have to risk life and limb crossing colonial. There is a special Yelp check in that will give you a pair of summer rolls with peanut sauce (don't pass it up!). My go to dishes are the #54 Pho Ga (chicken noodle soup)-$12 and the #17 Banh Mi Thit Nuong (baguette with bbq pork and veggies)-$5. It's more than shareable, and I don't know how they do it but prices have hardly gone up in the 6 years I've been going. Also, if I keep making these pho puns, one day they will bahn mi.

Lincoln G.

Yelp
Great service, great tasting food. First place we ate after we got off the airplane. We were going to another place but come to find out it was closed.this place has a nice ambiance and the server was very nice. If we lived in Florida we would definitely be back again. Thanks for saving the day Anh Hong restaurant!!!

Natalie P.

Yelp
Straight-forward authentic Vietnamese food. It can get crowded during busy meal times but I would wait hourssssss for that banh beo that I can't find anywhere else!! Rest of the menu is tasty, fresh, and fairly priced - I can't ask for more.

Greg C.

Yelp
I suppose this is considered an Orlando staple at this point. I think they have decent pho, but I find the noodles to be overcooked sometimes. And I think that is my overall feeling - they cut corners here that tend to let down the customer. They have some very unimpressive Vietnamese coffee too...straight microwave style. Yum. The service is always good or good enough. It has a diner vibe and feel to it with a good coziness. Their summer rolls are typical to the area - nothing earth shattering. Like the rest of the food, like the service - it's all rather decent and average. I do think you can get in and out of here as quickly as you would like though - whereas other Vietnamese restaurants, you're guaranteed to be there a certain amount of time. That's the diner side of things, and good if you're in a hurry. For some reason, the clientele in this particular Vietnamese restaurant always seems more eclectic than any other similar spot in the area. That doesn't make the food taste any better, but it's an interesting observation I've noticed!

Victoria W.

Yelp
Amazing!! Ended up here by accident. But officially my new fave spot in Orlando. The food was so fresh. Had the Grilled chicken Banh mi. Only $5.95 wow! And the vermicelli noodles with summer rolls...so flavorful too. For 2 people $35 including tip.

Alex L.

Yelp
Delicious spring rolls and pho bowls. They are the only pho place open early so that was very convenient for us! Service wasn't bad, and the ambiance was good. They were showing Asian shows, which is ALWAYS a good sign for delicious food. Give them a try, they are good!!

Latrice J.

Yelp
While visiting on vacation bought a Groupon to try a few places in the area. This was one of them. Didn't get a chance to use it though! Walked in with a smile only to be greeted by unbelievable indifference and invisibility!! No one said hello but a man pointed to a table dropped down two menus and some chopsticks and walked away. Then we sat...........No one came to take our order or acknowledge us! The restaurant is small so everyone can be seen at once. Other customers came in and the man who dropped down our menus almost fell over trying to pull out a chair for one of the men in that party of three!! That party received drinks, laughter and courteousness. We still sat until I had enough; we walked out and went next door to SAKU! All was redeemed; the prior racist trope was melted from my psyche by a well run establishment with class.... I will not recommend Ahn Hong to people with brown skin! Disgusting!

Jenny L.

Yelp
Most delicious restaurant in Orlando Florida. Best Top 3 in my life beef noodle soup bun Bo hue ever. I came back twice in one day I'll be back again! Service is also 5 star which is unusual because when food is good service is usually bad but this restaurant just makes us so happy. My stomach is very very happy today.
