"This homey restaurant offers typical comfort diner fare from omelets and pancakes to gyros and meatloaf in addition to a solid Polish menu with dishes like Polish sausage, city chicken, and pierogi, available in the usual options of potato, cheese, and sauerkraut. But Anio’s takes pierogi one step further with its pierogi reuben sliders: stacked corned beef with Swiss cheese on sauerkraut pierogi." - Dorothy Hernandez

We have lived in Romeo for almost 2 years and kept saying we were going to try this place and finally did and it did not disappoint. The food was great! Service was even better! Great mom n pop family type restaurant. Huge menu. They have everything sandwiches/wraps/burger, polish food, breakfast home cooked dinners, pasta. We had the buffalo chicken wrap and polish platter, and both were very good. The buffalo wrap was honestly one of the best I've ever had. We will be back for sure!

First time ordering today, and the breakfast tortilla was outstanding. Will be back again. Affordable and huge portions.

Google
Very good food. I love going here for breakfast. The polish sausage is delicious! 😋. I recommend the Anios breakfast delight, it comes with polish sausage, eggs, potato pancake and a crepe which are all amazing.

Google
Best corned beef and cabbage ever! Rice pudding for dessert was a great finish! Thank you very much.

Google
We visit Anios just about every weekend. The menu is large with many different selections to choose from. Food is always made from scratch and amazing. The staff is very friendly and take great care of us. Highly recommend!

Google
I took my mom to Anios for lunch and the food and service were wonderful. Mom had the biggest portion of veal parmigiana. It was not only a generous portion, mom said it tasted fantastic. She took home the leftovers, which were enough for 2-3 more servings. I had a grilled chicken pita. One of the best I have had. The pita was fresh, the chicken was moist and seasoned just right. Highly recommend!

Google
The cleanest family diner ever. We have tried several plates and all are beyond average. Our favorites are buffalo wrap and italian wedding soup. Prices are fair and staff are friendly

Google
Great food and super friendly staff!

Yelp
Best Reuben sandwich I've had in a long time. Nice waitress. Small place but food and employees are exceptional. They make their own corned beef and sauerkraut. It is so good.

C.J. S.

Yelp
First I'll start with the good, the Reuben pierogi sliders are what will keep me coming back. Excellent. The side salad with Italian dressing was great! The Alfredo sauce was homemade and very good! The chicken noodle soup didn't taste homemade. The very worst part, which is why I only give 2 stars... the mashed potatoes were boxed instant crap... the vegetables were clearly frozen. Both of that is completely unacceptable to me in ANY restaurant... We went here for the Polish food. My husband is 100% Polish. We still think the Polish Mania Warsaw Cuisine food truck has the best Polish food yet.

Dick B.

Yelp
Best polish food in northern Macomb county, and other food as well. Huge portions for breakfast, large portions for everything else. Prepare to carry out part of your meal.

Keith P.

Yelp
5 stars. Good people. Good food. Some polish, some not. Not too far from downtown Romeo.

Athena R.

Yelp
Amazing food! My fiancé and I split the chicken Alfredo, the portions are generous which is perfect because of how amazing it tastes! Waitstaff were very friendly and attentive! It is a very clean and well lit establishment, with that touch of cozy we're always looking for! Definitely a new spot for us, we enjoyed our lunch and plan on many more at this spot!

Yelp
I always get the sweet and spicy chicken wrap for 10 bucks. Solid price for a solid amount of food and it always tastes good. They are always super friendly and nice there too. Nice little restaurant

Sam G.

Yelp
One of the best home cooking restaurants in Macomb county. Fresh food, good service and fair prices. I had the 16oz angus ground sirloin with onions, mashed potatoes, veggies, soup and bread basket. The ground sirloin was done medium as i asked and tasted great. They serve breakfast all day and great specials are posted daily. I will return.

Jill J.

Yelp
This was our first visit and we will definitely return....now we know they are there! Food was excellent (fish & chips and a BLT). Service was great. Good experience all round.

Jim O.

Yelp
Breakfast- shared a HUGE country omelette and I do mean huge. Had to be 5 eggs and loaded with all the fixings. Large amount of hash browns. All tasted good, not great. Eggs overcooked a bit. Service was good. Easy to pass by, in corner of a small strip mall.

Yelp
Real good food like homemade something you will be satisfied with after you've eaten it good wholesome meal somewhere you could sit down and relax and enjoy

Yelp
Restaurant was recommended by locals. Food was extremely good, good size portions and decent prices. Extremely nice employees.

Yelp
We thoroughly enjoy this place every time!! Small but super yummy!!! I especially enjoyed the polish dishes and my hubby likes the comfort food selections- outstanding meals !!

Jen K.

Yelp
Fantastic food great service love this place!!!! Found this small place on a trip. Food was so good been back several time to try other dishes , nothing disappointing about it yet

Mark V.

Yelp
Great food and wonderful dessert. Our waitress was very friendly and the service was fast. We were very pleased with our food. I had the lake perch dinner and my wife had the polish plate. All of our food was great. Wonderful flavors and great portions. The dessert we decided to split was the apple cinnamon tortilla. It was big and very tasty! We will definitely be back

Yelp
Hidden gem! Situated in a small plaza, I never noticed it. Saw it listed on Yelp. No website of their own so I had to search for a full menu at another website. Glad I did. Carry out order of Baked Cod w/ Veggies and a Gyros Pita w/ Fries. So good! Cod was seasoned well and the veggies were fresh. Gyros was tasty and not greasy. Nice sized menu. I think it's a small family owned restaurant. We'll be back.

Dick B.

Yelp
Monster size omelettes and great potato pancakes for anytime. Best Polish food around here. Nice people too. Great service.

Doug I.

Yelp
This place is wonderful! The service was great and the food is delectable, we will be back again and again!

Cheryl R.

Yelp
Wow! Great little Polish place out in Washington! The menu is huge, and not all Polish, so you should be able to make anyone happy here. Service was great, but we were there at an off time and we were only 1 of 2 tables in there at that time. Food was delicious! I had Dill pickle soup along with the Polish sausage and kraut meal. Very good! My sister had the Reuben sliders, which were amazing! The best corned beef we've ever had, sandwiched between two kraut pierogis. Heaven! I will return!

Yelp
So love this place of business. Beautiful owners and staff. Great small town restaurant with a warm family feeling. Outstanding food and polish food. Great job. Love you guys.

John E.

Yelp
I'm afraid to enter this restaurant again. In the middle of the corona spike, they not only let a non-masked patron in, but they encouraged him in front of my father who has cancer. And it went beyond sitting down. Okay, the restaurant is small, but he was up and down, and the staff encouraged him. In another post, we praised this restaurant, but this disregard for my unborn son and my cancerous father is not praise-worthy. We won't be back because you are f'ers. Don't just give in to your libertarian customers and praise them for their views. I heard you. It was in front of my table. You put my baby at risk

Dick S.

Yelp
Don't waste your money .Basically the food was basically bland.Stuffed cabbage were huge with not much taste ,no beef ,pork veal combination just. beef. Mashed potatoes were instant. vegetable medley were frozen.Chicken soup was ok Same goes for City Chicken ,bland 2 huge pieces ,beef covered in brown gravy mashed potatoes and vegetables same as stuffed cabbage. With so many menu items and the small seating area you wonder if every thing could be freshly made ,suspect freezer to microwave to table. Most items priced on the high side. Compared to other polish restaurants in the Macomb County area ,this one doesn't make the grade.

Christina F.

Yelp
Food was excellent. I ordered the polish platter. I enjoyed everything on it. Ranch dressing was homemade. Restaurant was clean. Service was good. I will be returning. They sell breakfast too which I would like to try.

Kelly A.

Yelp
Came back today for a second round. This place is really growing on me as my new fave local place. Great people, cozy space, and new weekly/daily specials. The food is very flavorful and not your typical diner fare. I really like the mixed plate and will works that again. Get the berry crepe with the vanilla cream drizzle. So good!

Bernadette V.

Yelp
The homemade polish food is delicious! Seriously everything was so good! Like your grandma used to make! Nice size portions. Friendly staff!

Don T.

Yelp
Pirogies are great! Service couldn't have been better. Our server "Faith" very attentive I definitely recommend this place. I want to try them for breakfast

Sal H.

Yelp
Best fish and chips around. Try the fish and chips. Nice place, staff is very polite. Great coffee as well. Ham and cheese omelet is definitely good and pretty big. Hash browns are perfect every time.

V C.

Yelp
We were looking forward to trying out and supporting a new local business... We tried it and we will not be going back. It was HOT in there. Too hot to be comfortable. The food was marginal at best and it was over priced. Are those instant mashed you are serving? The broccoli was over salted; we could not even eat it. We were warned that our plates were hot when they were delivered to the table. Why would the plates be hot we wondered? Were they microwaved thus making them hot? Could be.

Sue H.

Yelp
Great food and portions are large!! Daily specials too. The owner and staff are very friendly. Will definitely go back!

Susan P.

Yelp
Awesome food, huge portions, great service and a friendly. Our server Emily was very attentive. Would highly recommend.

Yelp
My husband and I were excited to try another restaurant for Polish food. I really wanted to like this place. It has a friendly, cozy atmosphere. The food was subpar. My husband ordered the Polish platter. He said the stuffed cabbage was good. However, they served instant potatoes! The sauerkraut was tasteless - definitely not Polish style. Worst of all, the pierogis were deep fried into wet, greasy, inedible lumps. I have never seen pierogis made this way. The one saving grace was fresh green beans. Needless to say, we won't be returning.

Ac M.

Yelp
We have been here several times for breakfast and the portions are so large we have enough for the next day. I have always ordered the Country omelet and have never been disappointed. I will be going there again tomorrow night with a few of my neighbors and hopefully the dinner choices are just as good.

Ryan C.

Yelp
We have been there for breakfast and dinner! Both were excellent and the portions were awesome! I loved the French fries! This place has wonderful staff and is very clean. We are so happy to have a delicious restaurant so close to us. We will be regulars for sure!

Denise K.

Yelp
Excellent restaurant! Fabulous food and wonderful waitstaff! Our family visits often and is very pleased with the cleanliness and friendliness. A great addition to our romeo area!

T C.

Yelp
Went there with my wife. I ordered stuffed cabage, which was good and my wife ordered a combination plate with perogis, potatoe pancakes and a crepe. Was supprised on how many choices were on the menu for such a mall place. Over-all the food was very good although my mashed potatoes were just luke warm. Took a bite of my wifes potatoe pancake and I admit that I am no potatoe pancake expert but this was the best one I have ever tasted. It had a perfect amount of onion mixed in and not greasey at all. Over-all I thought the prices were a little high but the food was good and we would go back.

Kenny M.

Yelp
Simple! Great Food, great portions and great people! The menu has some exciting offerings. The daily specials are worth the visit. Ask about the breakfast buger. The people here genuinely care about how your experience is. Stop in and enjoy!

Lorri B.

Yelp
My husband and I visited for the first time today. We came because of the great reviews. We both got the polish platter. Waitress said everything is made from scratch, however first taste of the mashed potatoes I could tell they were not real (very disappointed). When I asked at least I was told the truth, they are not real. Was told next time order French fries. Never offered me anything instead of fake potatoes. Good size portions, pickle soup was good and I will give them this....green beans were fresh. However for $15 there should be fresh made real mashed potatoes!!!!

Alejandro P.

Yelp
I recommend the meat loaf sandwich with the cheesecake for desert, excellent. Service was very good and attentive.
