"This Kosher restaurant is known for Spanish Mediterranean fusion dishes along with vegan and vegetarian menu items. Diners love Anise’s panko-crusted matzo balls, tuna tartare, and chicken shawarma fajitas." - Krista Diamond, Susan Stapleton

"The kosher Spanish tapas restaurant was shut down by the Southern Nevada Health District after a routine inspection on Jan. 15 due to 51 demerits and two imminent health hazards for a sewage problem and a multi-generational cockroach infestation. Other infractions included excessive grease, grime, food debris, and improper food storage." - Susan Stapleton

I went for a fundraiser but I didn't get to eat as I'm on a cleanse. But it's a cute location and the food looked and smelled wonderful. My friend who went with me tried s few dishes and loved it. They are trying out an vegan thing at night which I loooove. I'll definitely go back

I dined here recently with a coworker and it was well worth the trip from the Strip. One of the best meals I had in Vegas (and I ate at some very fancy spots). We ordered the “salads,” Moroccan cigars and shawarma. My Indian colleague really like the spicy level on the cigars and I was proud to share my family’s cuisine. Prices were very reasonable and there were very generous portions. I’ll be back here for sure on my next visit to Las Vegas!

Pretty interior - Service was friendly, but not attentive and food just alright. It's Kosher in Las Vegas so with limited options, it still gets 4. Portion size was awesome though.

We were there an hour to closing. Place was quite, service was pleasant and the food was really good! The manager was very friendly and super helpful with food choices. I would definitely go again.

Great hummus. Really eclectic place with an amazing local feel. Can't wait to go back for more music.

Very pleasant atmosphere with salsa and classical guitar playing in the background. Wait staff really friendly. The food was excellent. We had 3 appetizers: fish tacos, mushroom poppers and chicken wings. Everyone enjoyed. The 2 main dishes, the ultimate burger and the Angus burger were excellent. The steak fries were freshly made, or at least tasted so. All sauces were tasty. We recommend the drive out from the center of town (25 minutes) to this clean and charming kosher restaurant.

I was recently on a road trip with some friends, and Las Vegas was one of the only places we were able to go out for meals, since we keep Kosher. As soon as we walked into Anise, we knew we came to the right place. The restaurant itself had such a pleasant atmosphere. The owner was so friendly and welcoming, the staff was generous, funny and always right there - ready for our next request. The food was beyond delicious, and unexpectedly not so expensive! We so much appreciated the service and warmth - I'd recommend this place to anyone in the area!

This place utterly sucked. The seats were dirty and the waitress never brought me my drink even though we were the only customers in the place. My companion received his gin-based drink, but it was watered down and tasted heavily of grenadine (not what was ordered). The waitress was truly terrible - never even offered us a drink menu, didn't seem concerned about us in the least. We ordered the dip/spread selection, and it was less than impressive. When you have a dip, and all you taste is raw garlic, you know you've got some amateurs in the kitchen. It was also served with soft white bread, which was not an appropriate vessel for the spreads. All I can say is "yikes". I would never go here again. NEVER. I'm just glad I did not order anything further.
