The Best Restaurants in Brossard | Eater Montreal

"Empanadas, churros, and maté are on offer at this compact restaurant dedicated to sharing Argentinian culture and tradition. Milanesa sandwiches with chimichurri? We’re down." - Ivy Lerner-Frank

Whether you are looking to get a taste of some Argentinian cuisine, or you're an Argentinian wanting to share some good food with your friends (like me), you will love this place. The empanadas had a lot of filling, and both the fried and oven-cooked ones had an amazing dough. The milanesa sándwich was a hit too. Finally, please please try the alfajores! The decor was super nostalgic also

Me and my friend got there by pure coincidence and it was amazing. The food was very good and filling. The ambience was very cozy and oft with good decor. The staff was very friendly and nice. They brought our food to the table and we had a nice conversation too.

I usually order churros at another place but because of the time the other place was closed, so I decided to go with this one. Ordered thru uber eats and the first appearance , presentation needs some work (generic box and bag). But didn't remove any stars since to me what really matters is the food. Now, the churros was slightly cheaper than the other place but its also smaller and has way less dolce de leche filling on the inside. In fact, once you get to the middle it's almost only pastry. The empanadas were good. Nothing bad to say about them but also didn't wow me.

A little disappointed in the service, I ordered through the website; paid and confirmed. 10 minutes later, I receive a text message that the restaurant cancelled my order. I called and asked why, and the employee said “we cancelled your order because there was no more chicken”… okay? So why didn’t you just call me to ask if I wanted to swap for another item. The employee also said he would call me back 5 minutes later and never did. Overall, the empanadas are fantastic, but customer service is a 1 star for me.

I’d like to give a bigger rating, but is genuinely not deserved.. I ordered 3 empanadas.. I waited 27 minutes for them and when I said I really had to go ( I had an appointment) I was handed tawn empanadas.. Adding a picture here so you can see the cold cheese lol. Maybe they are good, but I’d never know for what was handed to me today. So disappointing:/

We stopped here while staying at Hotel Brossard (located very close by in a plaza). Everything about our experience was fantastic. The employee was so very nice and helpful. The atmosphere, although small, is super cozy, welcoming and fun. We ordered empanadas (both meat and vegetarian), churros and alfajores — everything arrived in a timely manner and was prepared very well. A definite highlight for us — we will be back when in the area again.

Google
Disappointing experience: they had a lunch special offering three empanadas with fries and drink, I came specifically for it. They had a wall print, I pointed to it and specifically said that I want to order that. He put my order in his machine but the total price was higher than what was advertised and I had to pay for drink separately. When I pointed again that I wanted the special lunch menu that is advertised on the wall he said that they’re changing prices and that they didn’t remove the wall print then he went to remove it in front of me.. I said they still had to honour that price since it was there when I ordered. He said he was sorry and that he’ll give my water for free.. the total of what I paid was still higher than the advertised price. I am very disappointed with the way this was handled and am pretty sure that was illegal and counts as misleading advertising… now I carry this bitter experience and sadly do not want to come back here again

Yelp
What everyone says is true!! The lady here is super nice. The chimichurri and criolla sauces are yum. Like I need to buy a bottle of this stuff! Luckily, they do sell them for $8 and $9 respectively. The empanadas are a bit on the smaller side but full of flavor. I enjoyed both the beef which went well with the chimichurri and the chicken which paired well with the criolla. Just wish there was more! The crust is satisfyingly crisp and doughy. A clever way to tell the different empanadas apart is the stamped letters on the crust! The cornstarch alfajores had a touch of lemon rind in it and the cookie was soft and crumbly. The chocolate alfajores named after the city "Mar Del Plata" is dipped in semisweet chocolate and has hints of orange. The cookie is firm and thick. Of the two, I liked the cornstarch one better as the chocolate one was a little bitter from the dark chocolate.

Yelp
Great empanadas. Cute ambience. CASH ONLY!!! But it's so reasonably priced and all homemade. The cookies especially are well done. I'll be back to try every single one before I decide on my favourites. They're also very nice here.

Yelp
Very nice discovery for us. Everything on the menu is really good especially the ham and cheese empanadas. The sauces that come with are really good and the lady is super nice. 10/10 recommend!
