Great Korean food at a minimalistic Michelin-recommended restaurant in a central location. I visited this place on a Thursday evening and did not have a reservation but walk-ins were welcome fortunately:) The staff was very friendly and provided a quick explanation of the seasoning options (garlic, spicy paste, salt, pepper) for the soup that I had ordered. The soup broth was very yummy and light at the same time which I really liked. I added fresh garlic and some (!) spicy paste to the broth which made it a very flavorful meal. I had a great meal and would come back anytime since the quality of the food and service is 10/10. Strongly recommend to visit!

This restaurant is simply great. A modern urban atmosphere yet the offering is classic and simple. The broth was flavourful and the pork delicious - I can safely say one of the restaurants I enjoyed the most in my trip to Busan. We tried the rice soup, the noodle soup and one of their side dishes featuring different parts of the pork.

Probably one of the very best pork soup in Busan. You may need to wait, the shop is very small.

While I can’t rate this for authenticity as a foreigner, really enjoyed my meal at Anmog. The pork soup broth was rich but not overwhelming and the pork was also really well done. Also loved that you press the garlic straight into the dish (also recommending adding pepper which is fresh). The service was very friendly and it was a relaxing environment for dinner. I would come back!

Other than the girl’s poor customer service, it’s decent. If you want “nicer” atmosphere for Korean soul food which is normally appreciated casually it might be the place for you. The food itself is pretty good, and the service by all men is very nice until the only girl who works there ruins everything for you. I personally wouldn’t come back here to pay more for borderline rude customer service by the girl.

Delicious rice and pork soup, simple but done very well, staff were courteous and helped book our place in the queue and explained the how to season the dish.

Anmok, located in Busan's Suyeong District, is a distinguished restaurant recognized in the 2024 Michelin Guide's Bib Gourmand selection. Unlike traditional pork soup establishments, Anmok offers a unique take on this classic dish, presenting a refined and contemporary version that sets it apart. The restaurant's interior is modern and clean, providing a comfortable dining atmosphere. The signature dish, pork soup (dwaeji-gukbap), features a rich and flavorful broth, achieved by simmering pork bones for over 24 hours. The soup is complemented by tender slices of pork, and diners can adjust the seasoning to their preference using the provided condiments. For those seeking variety, the menu also includes options like mixed pork soup, which combines different cuts of meat and offal, offering a diverse taste experience. Anmok is situated at 3, Gwangnam-ro 22beon-gil, Suyeong-gu, Busan, approximately 320 meters from Namcheon Station Exit 1. The restaurant operates daily from 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM, with a break from 3:30 PM to 5:00 PM, and the last order is taken at 8:30 PM. Given its popularity, especially on weekends, patrons may experience waiting times. However, the efficient service ensures a worthwhile dining experience. Reviews highlight the broth's depth and the quality of the meat, noting the absence of any unpleasant odors. The side dishes, particularly the radish kimchi, receive praise for their taste. Anmok's innovative approach to pork soup has garnered acclaim, making it a must-visit spot for both locals and visitors seeking a modern twist on a beloved Korean staple.
