Some of the best popiah we’ve had in singapore. Not wet, not dry, just right. Tasty. Kueh pie tee not quite as great as popiah, though still good. Fried spring rolls nice too. Want to try other flavours next time.

$2.2 for Popiah- tried this Michellin star stall by chance, had to wait in line but was worth it. the man was putting his soul into making the perfect popiah- good amounts of filling,the popiah paper was not hard, the sauce was not sickly sweet. i noticed many tourists lining up for this, as well as the locals, it must be so good! the crunchy stuff inside was delicious 🤤

20251120 - stall was mentioned in michelin. Ordered 2 popiahs to try and cost was slightly pricey. Taste was good and popiah skin was not too dry. However, one can get similar standards of popiah in several other places as well at slightly cheaper price.

Chinatown food heaven place, this hidden stall carry Michelin guide tag. Crispier tee, various taste. Not bad, can try. Decent. Popiah is decent.

No queue so thought ’why not?’ I loved a good poh piah but this is just decent. Being a Michelin rated stall, I anticipated a good poh piah but I think if we find any decent stalls in Singapore, it will be around there taste-wise. If you happen to be in Chinatown Complex and the stall is not crowded, but all means. Just to queue 20-30mins for it, it’s not worth it IMO. P.S. Contrary to some review, it’s not difficult to find. Take the elevator to the food centre and it on the right.

Finally tried this popiah after reading the rave reviews online. I like that it is served warm (not sure if it is because I was early). The key differentiating factor from other popiahs seem to be the crunchiness coming from one of the ingredient wrapped inside. They are generous with the peanut too. Wrapped tight and not soggy. Given the good first experience, will try other items on the menu next time. Often see a queue here but I came on a Monday morning so there was no queue, no wait :-)

We came across this place whilst on a food tour in Singapore. I cannot express how good the Popiah and Kueh Pie Tee were. We went back another day just to get some more before we went home. This is a must try if you are in Chinatown Hawker!
