"If you're renovating, this is the place to go for absolutely any style of tile. Their library is vast and they carry a variety of materials including stone, wood, leather, and porcelain. There's also a location in Midtown."

Although we ultimately selected our bathroom tiles from Ann Sacks, the overall experience was forgettable one of the least impressive in our tile shopping journey. The showroom is beautiful and the product selection is undeniably high quality, but the service fell far short of expectations. We encountered a lack of attentiveness and care — especially surprising given the premium nature of the brand. Our show room appointment started 28 minutes late without apology or acknowledgment. For a design-forward company, we expected a more elevated and supportive experience, especially during such a detail-oriented process. In the end, we’re happy with the tiles we chose. With some improvement in client care and communication, this showroom could truly match the quality of the materials it sells.

This company does not have quality control and sent me tile that was clearly defective. Some pieces were fine, the rest are defective. This is only noticeable after install as some pieces were acceptable. A rep from the company told me “your tiles are wet, you need to allow them to dry” (even though they weren’t wet). The rep then attempted to tell me my installer installed the tile incorrectly (he installed it correctly). Finally after showing them a video of spare tiles that were defective (meaning dry and the installer hadn’t installed them) they finally admitting the product was defective and their solution was that I have to pay to have all the tile and drywall removed myself. To say this company is grossly incompetent in resolution and quality product is an understatement. They did everything to try to blame me for their defective product and have done ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to resolve. Don’t waste your time with this company. (The grey terrazzo is the defective tile)

An sacks sold us tile that was vastly different than the samples we saw and in two distinct batches one with a dark rough finish and one that was clean. We attempted to negotiate a return to purchase other tiles that were finished wewith some level of consistency and they offered to sell us new tiles at a premium and not offer us any trade in value for clearly deficient tile. Customer service was extremely unhelpful and non commercial even after buying tens of thousands of dollars of tile.

The showroom in NYC is nice but the customer service is terrible. The first time I went I was given a sample tile to take home. I came back to the store ready to place an order and I was told that I had to place the order with the person that gave me the sample- even though I was there standing there ready to place the order. The other person was not there that day so I was told "I" had to send an email to this person to place the order- makes no sense why someone else at the showroom could not take the information. Anyway, I did email this person and they sent me a proposal via email but my address was not correct- It took 5 times for them to fix the address- just very poor customer service. No way to run a business- I will not be a return customer.

I’m a home owner and I’ve been working with Oliver on my bathroom tiles. It’s been a smooth and efficient process and Oliver’s professional advice has been extremely helpful. Highly recommend! ---- update---- We had some problems with the tile installation, due to our contractor's lack of experience. We reached out to Oliver and asked for help, and every single time he was extremely patient and offered professional advice. I can't thank him enough.

I have been in the showroom a couple of times looking for tiles and bathroom fixtures and find the sales associates to be very helpful and knowledgeable.

Yelp
Gorgeous tiles ! Wow, I cannot believe how much more beautiful these tiles are in person. I visited the showroom in the Flatiron district on a cold miserable rainy NY afternoon. The showroom is a large open intimidating space. I was a little taken aback initially. The salespeople seemed as if they were too busy for me. Undeterred, I approached the desk. They asked me what kind of project I was working on, my name, the name of my company & my architect's name & the name of his firm. A lot of questions !!! And that's before even showing me the tiles. Weird ! And then one salesperson walks off, guess she's too busy to be bothered with me, as if she's not really there to sell tiles. Well why is she there then? This would have been a one star review, but one of the salespeople (Kiara) was amazing! She provided a very thorough tour of all of the tile designs, their various applications, prices, as well as customizable designs options. I showed her photos of the solid wood baseboard design I was trying to match & she opened a drawer. They carry the exact same design in tile! Wow ! I don't think I've ever been so excited over a tile design. Kiara explained the differences between the materials, the effect of wear on the patina, nicely demonstrated on an absolutely stunning floor tile in the showroom. She also provided samples & very valuable information/input. Truly an asset to the brand! If I purchase tiles from this store, it's entirely because of her! I would not have known about the design specifics & potential uses otherwise. Yes, they're pricey but worth it. The next step is ordering the tiles. If I purchase from here, I will update this review.

Yelp
Beautiful tiles and great customer service! Very helpful in trying to envision how it will all look in the end.

Yelp
If I could give a half star, I would. I ordered my made-to-order tile well in advance of my start date and chose a tile that is made in the US and which, according to the sales rep, shipped consistently within the production timeline despite COVID and supply chain issues. The tile arrived on time (6-7 wks) and my contractor began work in our bathroom only to find 85% of the way through that AS totally screwed up the order; we had 13 boxes of one size tile, 4 boxes of another and none left of the largest size in a 3-tile pattern. AS admitted the error but will not commit to getting the tile we need to finish the job for 9 weeks and the absolute arrogance and rudeness of the customer service team is appalling. It's been 4 weeks, contractor on another job, and I emailed to check status. They wouldn't even confirm that production had begun, gave me some bullshit about it being a multi stage process that is confusing to understand. Do not do business with this company! I'm in the design trade and have never experienced a company less concerned about their customers.

Yelp
My husband and I came here to get ideas on the tiles we were interested in for our master bath renovation. After wandering around and looking at all of the beautiful displays, we met with Angelo. He answered all of our questions and helped us pair tiles to create a luxurious space. Much of the tile they have here is high end (and out of our budget), but if you make a wall or floor special, you can be frugal elsewhere. We went home not knowing quite what we wanted, however we did leave with samples and that was incredibly helpful to go and see in the space. After making a decision, Angelo and I began emailing back and forth as well as calling each other to place orders and get the quantity right. Everything was delivered via FedEx and in perfect condition. On more than one occasion I needed to order additional tile and Angelo quickly got my order in. Product came in, in less than a week! He was great to work with and very patient for us first-time-renovators. If you're looking for something special that you can't find anywhere else, this is where to look. Consider Ann Sacks the Bergdorf Goodman of tile stores. Don't let that deter you, it's worth the look.

Yelp
I purchased Ann Sacks tile for my kitchen backsplash. As one other reviewer mentioned, I was talked into purchasing a lot more tile than was needed--far above what is "usual" expected breakage for tile on a mesh sheet. Even the installer commented. That cost me hundreds, which is a real bummer. I also had some issues with delivery taking longer than was quoted initially which upset my contractor. HOWEVER, I can't let these things spoil my overall review too much because the tile really is beautiful --everyone who sees it comments on it, and I couldn't have bought this particular tile anywhere else (and I tried because it was $$$$)! They carry top quality tile with special depth/color variation/glazing and for me, it was worth the hassle.

Yelp
This review is not about product, but the horrible customer service at Ann Saks. I recently purchased a home- every surface needs an overhaul. I loved the products at Ann Saks, and went to the showroom to get information and pricing. The shop was completely empty and very cold, the employees were just sitting around looking into space. I was helped by Danyel Jones who was nice enough when I was there, she promised to follow up with pictures, pricing, information. It has been two weeks-I called to check in once, I never heard from her. I think it's pretty astonishing that the customer service would be so severely lacking in a place that is arguably one of the most expensive in its category. I'll be taking my business to Artistic Tile, they were fabulous and accomodating and the showroom was alive.

Yelp
What a lovely experience. Staff are genuinely attentive; showroom is gorgeous (like their products) and the selection is awesome.

Yelp
What a disappointment. I went there for tiles for my bathroom. I asked to be showed samples. They showed me only two styles hanging on the wall. I couldn't believe they had such a poor selection. Store looked empty and cold. The salesman was nice but there didn't seem to be any selection to choose from.

Yelp
First of all, I did NOT purchase so this review is half complete. Products are A+ Selection, Showroom is beautiful. The warning upon speaking with a female manager who was slightly overweight, some key points were communicated. 1. This store has horrible shipping so they suggest, or push, buyers to purchase more tile than needed for fear that the warehouse will package the tile in a NON SECURE method leading to breakage 2. Wow, this comment from the manager about how the people responsible for shipping sometimes will send out the WRONG color tiles ! Wow, this was where I responded, " Why doesn't the company either fire or retrain the person or people responsible for sending out products ? " 3. This is another add on comment about how sometimes the wrong size is shipped out ! Summary, you are gambling when buying because this woman is running a sloppy operation where she lacks concern about delivery and really views these major mistakes as a norm in the business. I responded " The customer does not want to hear excuses ! " . Buy elsewhere. I can not comment on complete experience because after hearing a manager's words accepting how sloppy her team is, I just couldn't buy tiles knowing this info. Hope this helps.

Yelp
Don't buy the stone sink on a dark wood base. Lovely, but when it gets wet (which is every time you use the sink), the wood stain "leaks" into the stone and stains it (I believe the word is "leaches" - soaks up into - the sink). Too bad. And the company didn't think it was important enough to rectify the problem for a $4,000.00 sink & stand. Based on this experience, they DO NOT stand by their product. Warning.

Yelp
Unbelievably poor service and questionable quality control. I've renovated several bathrooms economically and painlessly using a variety of tile vendors, but went to Ann Sacks thinking that a high end vendor would ensure a good product and superior service. Wrong. After purchasing over $13,000 worth of tile and battling through an ordering snafu that really should have been caught by the salesperson, the color variations of one of the floor tiles were so dramatic that I had to have large sections pulled up and redone. Ka-ching! (Have to add that this was no easy task since the mosaic tile has a paper backing on the front making it impossible for the installer to see what is being laid until after it is set in place. Won't even go into the DYI fix I came up with so that we could see the tile before it was installed) I wrote a polite letter to a supervisor to alert him to the problem (not to request a refund or a different tile), and to suggest the tile be discontinued. So far, no response. Don't make my mistake and be seduced by the pretty shiny samples in the showroom, go somewhere else where the salespeople are more helpful and where a company with a fancy reputation doesn't dump its customers after the bill is paid.
