Cash only! The main reason for losing a star. In this day and age, with Pix available, just doesn’t make sense. Otherwise, the pasta was superb, fresh and light. The food is extremely tasteful and well made. Our chosen dessert left a little to be desired however.

What should have been a wonderful evening ended on a very disappointing note. The food was very good, especially the desserts—we enjoyed both the affogato and the crème brûlée. The table service throughout the meal was perfectly fine. However, when we were leaving, it was raining heavily. An attendant was holding an umbrella and escorting patrons to their cabs. He assisted the women in front of us, then returned, made eye contact with us, and refused to do the same. As paying customers, this treatment was both confusing and upsetting. Has this been the norm for other black people in Brazil? As a foreigner, I wasn't sure... but everyone inside was nice so perhaps it was just this employee. This experience at the end of the night did overshadow what had otherwise been an enjoyable meal, but I'll try not to let it bother me. C'est la vie.

I think it’s important for people to know that this restaurant accepts cash only. They don’t tell you unless you ask, so you could be in big trouble dining and then not having how to pay, it’s a huge thing they should disclose to people.

ALERT! This restaurant does NOT accept credit cards. I was shocked and very disappointed. The food is “ok”. One of the server was more pleasant. The others were not. I have no idea how they were able to put a Michelin sticker at the front door. They seem to have a clientele that comes back frequently. Fairly priced. Will not return or recommend… sorry!

Myself and the family of friends ate at Anna this week. The food was great, and the wait staff were friendly and professional. When it came time to pay, the cashier refused to accept dividing the cheque in two, 50:50. House policy "is to only use one card". Fine, but the restaurant looses points for this service. There were only four other tables while we were there and zero others were paying at the same time, so it isn't a question of capacity, but of ease for them.

A beautiful venue with caring staff and delicious food! Highly recommend this restaurant. Love coming here with my family. The homemade pasta is amazing, but I particularly enjoy eating seafood here. The fish with couscous is my favourite. And you cannot leave here without having their almond cookies with an expresso - absolutely divine!

They don't accept credit or debit cards or pix. You know what is more valuable than your precious over-priced food? Our time. We walked a couple of blocks to Bar do Bacana and had a great meal there instead for a fraction of the cost. I am no stranger to fine dining, but I can't stand the pretentiousness of some of these places. Keep the food & menu classic, but get with the times and accept a bloody card.

Excellent food, execellent value for money - quirky in that payment is cash only - certainly recommend.

I had quite a pleasant experience at Anna. Even though we chose a seafood dish, we still wanted a red wine and couldn't decide on one they would be light enough to accompany our food selection. Our waiter helped us settle on an amazing primativo puglia that paired really well! It still had some body by was light enough to go with sea food. This place is pricey but worth a visit if you feel like being classy and eating some good fresh food. It is definitely an older crowd inside, but we had a good classy time.
