Annabel's Pizza & Italian Restaurant

Orders have been consistently missing items or wrong the past few times I have placed an order. Got some wings that were inedible and burnt to a crisp. Kind of ruined dinner. Will be ordering pizza from other local places from here on out

Stopped in for dinner while on a short trip, staying just around the corner at an AirBnB on High Street (Unionville). With very little restaurant choice in the region, it was nice to have this place so close by. This restaurant was a high 3, low 4 stars. We ordered garlic knots, buffalo wings, a slice of pizza, a ham and turkey sub, and two cannolis (one chocolate dipped). The garlic knots were great, hard to mess up. The wings were below average to me, but that's coming from a spoiled Rochester, NY perspective. They reminded me of what we could buy from a grocery store as frozen, fully cooked and sauced chicken wings. We tried the tortellini alfredo pizza slice, good overall, the crust was a tad weak (again spoiled by Rochester). The sub was average as well. The cannolis were nice and fresh, a good ending to the meal. Apologies for the poor photo quality on a few shots (camera had a smudge on it for a short time). The staff made up for the average meal; very outgoing, friendly, and helpful, pushing this review to the 4 stars. The interior was brightly decorated and we were the only ones dining in. The bathroom was average.

Mostly take out or delivery. My wife loves the chicken cacciatore. I love the a ANNABEL'S special pizza pie. Always fresh made to order. Prices are reasonable as well.

Just moved into the area and was so excited to try the food. First order was pizza, a plain and a grandma pie. Absolutely DELICIOUS. Also ordered garlic knots, so fluffy with a great sauce. The second order was a quick lunch order, sausage and peppers and Italian sandwich - both were so good, with fresh ingredients. Really loving this restaurant!! Very friendly and accommodating staff as well. 10 out of 10 from me!! Would have taken more photos, but ate it all too fast!! Can't wait to try more.

Good pizza, wings and heroes at a fair price. The staff is hard working and appreciate the customers.

Paw patrol was playing the entire time I was here, I didn't see a single child anywhere in sight but I guess that's the vibe... It made me laugh a lot thinking about how these grown adults are watching paw patrol making pizzas and running a business. LOL Pizza and cheesecake were pretty decent, definitely not the best I've ever had but good enough, I had a bunch of weird flavors like a pasta flavored pizza and a taco flavored pizza. I don't think I've ever seen that before. There was even like a quesadilla Pizza which was a quesadilla on a pizza, served by the slice. I would recommend

I just walked in from Jersey, and boy are my arms tired! Come for the NY pizza, stay for the authentic Italian-American flavors. Employees were extremely accommodating to this off-season hiker trash.

This is my local spot for great pizza! Super friendly people! They know and ask about my whole family every visit!

Great people - owner is very friendly and accommodating treats everyone like family. Pizza and pastas are very good. The sandwiches and paninis are surprisingly good - unexpected.

Orders are routinely wrong. When they are right, the pizza is often undercooked or clearly old. The wings are consistently burnt to the point of being hard and inedible, not crispy, just ruined. The Zappolis are cold, and the dressings that come with orders are often forgot. Annabel's feels careless and inconsistent. There are too many good pizza places around to get mediocre pizza. The Annabel's in Sussex is an improvement though. I'm not sure if they are related or not.

Not the place to go if you're in a rush, take it from me and the boys. It came out at the temperature of the sun, completely demolishing the roofs of our mouths. Which isn't necessarily a bad thing but due to timing we had to eat it very quickly. I got a buffalo chicken slice, which looked more like Mystery Meat on a slice drenched in hot sauce. My friend got 3 plain slices, one of which had a MOUNTAIN of cheese fall off. The pizza wasn't even terrible and the workers were nice, and Jesus Christ in the flesh was there too. But it was just very average, and multiple horseflies were staring us down throughout our meal. I will poop

Not too bad of a place pizza is good as well as thee or sandwiches. I ordered from DoorDash and was happy with the food.

Due to their erratic hours and inability to communicate their erratic hours I no longer can support this restaurant. I am very disappointed but this. One day they say they are open then then the day they said they would be open they suddenly post that they are closed, horrible business practice!

Stopped in for a late lunch. They had a couple trays of speciality pizza and a fresh cheese pizza. I had a chicken bacon ranch slice and a pepperoni slice. Also ordered a few garlic knots. The pizza was pretty good, it's probably really good when it's fresh out of the oven. The garlic knots were also amazing and covered in minced garlic.

Bit pricey but workers are very friendly and helpful. The inside is clean and newly renovated. The food is great!!!

Annabel's is absolutely delicious and all for a fair price! The team that works here is always very friendly and polite! My food is always HOT and FRESH out of the over when I go to pick it up. I come to Annabel's weekly and have never been disappointed! I love this place and will continue to dine here frequently! I recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a delicious fresh meal!

Every time I order from here it gets worse and worse. How does a cook forget bruschetta on a chicken bruschetta salad it's literally in the name...

Great neighborhood spot to order out. The menu is comprehensive. Awesome pizza and nice staff. To me, best pizzeria in the area.

This is our go-to place for pizza. They make a great pie and they also have great entrees. Don't forget to grab a piece of chocolate cake on your way out.

I'd give this 4.5 stars. I grabbed two pizzas to go last week. Place was clean, staff is friendly and the pizza was pretty good. I'd like the crust to be a bit crisper so I have it 4.5 instead of 5 stars but all in all, a very good pie at a decent price. I think it was $11.95 or $12.95 per pizza. Nicely done

We Are always satisfied here. My kids will eat just about anything but they will never say No to annabels.

Wasn't expecting good pizza since I was only vacationing in Wantage for the weekend. Annabel's exceeded my expectations ten-fold. The chicken bacon ranch pie was amazing...even better than the ones I've had in NY. They were also able to accommodate a relatively large order (6 pies + 2 sides) in a short span of just 30 minutes. If you're ever in the area, you need to try this place!

Truely one of the best places to eat in the whole area, food it's always perfect on point, the owner treat you like family here!!!

We LOVE Annabels Pizza! We order minimum once a week! Their Chciken Francese is the BEST I have had anywhere around here! The chicken park hero and all varieties of pizza are delicious!! Very reasonable price for wonderful food. The staff is extremely friendly. You cannot go wrong!

If you want a good sub, do not go here. I have ordered from Annabel's multiple times asking for a Italian sub with a little less oil and vinegar and to put on mayonnaise. But every time I get my sub, all i see is a sandwich doused in oil and nothing else. They have never listened to my order. I have given them many chances but this is the last one. The pizza is great though and I have not had any complaints about it. So if you are going there for pizza I would recommend.

With a wide variety of dishes, I was worried that anything I ordered would be mediocre. Not Annabel's. Their pasta is delicious and my husband thoroughly enjoyed his gyro. The young lady helping us was kind and offered advice for staying in the area (we are hiking through). It is a pleasant spot with great service.

Everyone - and I mean EVERYONE wants a pizzeria in their home town. Annabels is 2.5 miles from my home. No delivery but pick up available 11 to 11, 7 days a week. I'd order ahead in the summer as the place gets REALLY hot (over 100 degrees). The dining room is clean and the staff is always nice. FOOD IS AMAZING. Sometimes the pizza chef changes and then the recipe does but when the regular chef is there the food is really excellent. Their small calzone with ham is only $6.95 and its really a huge calzone - at least three meals. Pizza is always so flavorful. Doesn't last in my house more than a day or two. Me and dog love it! Try their specials too. The zuppa di pesce is good but the clam portion is small. I don't think you'll ever be disappointed with anything you get here. Crap, now I gotta go there for dinner. Son of a ....!

Yummmmmy spinach ravioli with vodka sauce! Pizza is delicious too! My ravioli came with soup or salad side too I got the minestrone soup and it was the best! Tasted Homemade and fresh came out very hot!!!

We moved to the area about 3 months ago. The first 2 times the food was good but this was on a Saturday afternoon when they are not busy. The past couple of times we have ordered and the food has come cold. I have not called or complained and have continued going since I understand. But tonight I called at 7:45 to order. I asked if they were busy and he said yes and I explained why I was asking since I did not want cold food. Well all of a sudden they are closing and not taking orders since their business is slow. I have so many events and things coming up that they could have continued to get my business if they would have handled themselves professionally and apologized but to give me and attitude and lie. I will NEVER give them my business again. Attitude goes a long way and with social media and outlets like this they should be careful. I have read many mixed reviews about them and am not the only one who has had problems. I always try to give the benefit of the doubt but this was the bottom line. I will give my hard earned money who another local business who will appreciate it.

Visited Annabels Pizza during first week of May 2011 while section hiking the Appalachian Trail across New Jersey. Annabels Pizza is very convenient to the AT and is located just across the street from Horler's Grocery, a popular hiker resupply point. We noted a number of locals entering and later leaving Annabels Pizza while lunching across the street. From the outside, Annabels is cute and is reminiscent of an old fashioned ice cream parlor with lots of white trim and little windows. Inside is a rather spacious, well lit area with lots of tables and chairs. The display case held over a dozen types of pizza available immediately by the slice. We inquired as to the names and almost everything was chicken based (chicken taco, chicken & mushroom, etc.). As they had a thick crusty focaccia style pizza we bought two large slices for dinner up the trail and for breakfast the next morning. Annabels Pizza doesn't have any zip-lock bags for to-go orders, but we carry spares. Two large slices filled a quart freezer bag. We asked about refilling our quart water bottle and were directed to the restroom. The quart bottles won't fit under the tap, so we asked again at the register. The manager filled our water from the larger sink in the food prep area. Later that evening at Pochuck shelter, we enjoyed our pizza with a bottle of Ginger Ale from Horler's Grocery. The pizza was deliscious and quite filling. While the second slice the next morning was a bit cold, we relished it much more than the oatmeal and fig bars we had planned. As Kerry S. stated, the pizza is nothing special, just good filling pizza at reasonable prices in a mom & pop storefront. It is worth the short walk down from the trail if you want some pizza while hiking across NJ.

Love their pizza. They also have a nice selection to choose from. They have the best pizza in the area. I love their garlic bread with cheese. The antipasto salad is huge and fresh. We keep coming back.

They advised a special vegetable pizza for &10.50 but they said they didn't put the add in but it was on there website. So they changed me &19.79 with tax. So for &8.00 they lost a steady coustom. That my story.

This placed catered for an event i went to and there food was amazing. I had the chicken parm and penne a la vodka and wow it was good. i'm a very picky, difficult eater so they suprised me. Deff would go eat here.

Mushroom Pizza was very good! It's located on Main Street in Unionville and if you call ahead, the pie is done when you walk in the door. Generous helping of mushrooms, along with fresh cheese and a tasty crust. I did notice several specialty pies served as slices as well, in the pizza case near the counter. Quite a variety too. Give them a try. Support local when you can. There is also table service if you like to dine in too!

The pizza is the usual NY style pizza. I'd prefer more sauce, but it's still good pizza! I didn't really care for their hot wings, which are breaded hot wings with the spice inside, but they still tasted pretty good. Not a bad place for a quick slice on the run.

Every time we have a party, people ask for the penne vodka sauce with chicken. All in all, great food and great service. Highly recommended.

Had dinner in the dinning area last night and I was so disappointed. The dinning room was filled with flies and were flying all over mine and my family's food. I actually had to tell them to box up my entrees because it was that bad. It was disgusting. As I went to pay the check they still charged me full price for my dinner and were not apologetic at all. I am not complaining about the food in this post because the food was very good. The whole atmosphere and dining area was very unsanitary. I hope they do not get a visit from a health inspector any time soon and correct the situation.

Lucky to have this great place right here in unionville. Food is very good with generous portion sizes, the service is wonderful and the marinara sauce is delicious. The only thing that could have been better were the French fries. They tasted very processed and were cold & soggy. Everything else was great. The house salad was huge & fresh, the sausage calzones were crowd pleaser. Even as a vegan I could find enough good things to eat. The kids and adults were very full and happy.

Great pizza and pasta place. Especially for upstate NY.

Really nice people I came up from the city to visit my family and we were seriously starving because they moved to a new house and the kitchen is in renovation..... so at 10:07pm I called anabel pizza and they were nice enough to wait for me so I give them 5 stars.....

Not bad. Pizza is good. A little bland, but definitely satisfying. A godsend, oasis if you're coming off the Appalachian Trail. They appear to have burgers as well which looked good (didn't have one). Slices of cake (not homemade) and cheesecake. Ice cream bars. Fountain drinks, soda. The staff is friendly and efficient. Nice outdoor seating on porch and lots of space inside. Good hours. Free wi-fi and accessible charging outlets around. If you need a solid, reasonably priced meal in a nice, little town, this works well.

I love this place, my husband and I go there on a regular basis. If we are working in the area we will stop for a couple slices while on the road and if we're home we make the trip (past two other pizza places closer to our house I might add) to get dinner. Depending what we feel like eating we might order a pizza or an eggplant hero or a meatball hero (best meatballs around) then other times we order a full dinner like we did tonight. My husband got Veal Cacciatore and I ordered Shrimp Ala Rudy - both excellent as usual, plus it comes with either a salad or soup and garlic bread! The best thing is the people that work there, VERY friendly and accommodating if you ever have a special request!

Pizza is great.. New employees.. Owner is friendly and inviting.. I pass other pizza places to get to this one!!

This is our GO-TO place when we want a decent meal fast. Great pizza, excellent wings (I'm VERY picky about both!) and the staff...... outstanding! Our family loves Annabel's and you will too.

Located in the small village of Unionville, NY just over the Jersey line. Annabel's offers all of your Italian favorites as well as a Mexican menu. We have eaten here many, many times and EVERY meal was delicious. The staff is ALWAYS friendly and courteous. If Jose is there, you'll get a "Hey Buddy". Prices are very reasonable. I have read the other reviews and will agree that the pizza is average...so, I don't get the pizza. Their Chicken Parmesan is to die for. We have eaten in, taken out and have had them cater for us.
