Boston’s Best Doughnuts | Eater Boston

"Anna’s is as old-fashioned as it gets, with a purple formica counter and circular swivel stools upholstered with cracked black vinyl and bolted to the tile floor. Get a jelly here." - Terrence Doyle

You never know what to expect when a longstanding business changes hands but the new owners have done a great job of maintaining the spirit of Anna's Donuts and even bringing some upgrades - they now take cards, more menu options, etc. I recently stopped in during a heatwave to pick up donuts for the office. The owners were there working away turning out batches of donuts despite a broken AC and hot temps inside. The donuts were a HUGE hit in the office! Good luck to the new owners and here's to many more years in business! I just hope they get their AC fixed :)

I’ve come to Anna’s several times now. This place has some amazing donuts. I love that it’s near the train stop so I can pop in for a quick snack before work. This is a hole in the wall type. It’s very clean but very modest. I don’t mind. The staff size is very small so if you order breakfast sandwiches and it gets busy, you might have to wait a little. Breakfast sandwiches are pretty good. There is nothing fancy here but everything is done right.

Google
Unbelievably delicious honey dipped doughnuts, you gotta get one! The breakfast sandwiches completely hit the spot with great ingredients and preparation. And great service too! We will definitely come back

Google
The new ownership is awesome!!! Finally no cash only & no goofy ATM machine. The original owner was cranky & not much of a people person. This new owner is a sweet heart!!! The donuts were delicious & the little old guys sitting in there drinking coffee were so friendly. The new owner extended out the hours on the back end. Please disregard my previous review this place just became a better business in W Rox under the new ownership…

Nicholas McDonough

Google
Coffee roll and a sandwich called ahead of time got there and it’s ready for pickup!!

Google
Old school style joint with good classic donuts. Cash only. For some reason this is one of the few donut spots like this in Boston, so it’s my default choice. Recommend calling ahead to see if they’re open, as they don’t post off-schedule closures on google. Also highly encourage getting there by 8am if you want a full selection of donuts. They usually close early around 1030-11 after selling out completely. It would be awesome if this were not the case. Costs $28 for a dozen. Service is what you’d expect from an old school place like this and I hope that never changes ❤️ If I have the time, I’ll drive to Kane’s instead. Their donuts are better quality and their inventory is better stocked.

Yelp
New ownership/management. The donuts are a touch less good, but fresher and cheaper. Plus the hours appear to be a lot more consistent. New crew is very nice. Still looks essentially the same, but now the group of old men that used to sit in front of it sit in front of the pizza place up the street.

Brian D.

Yelp
Only donut shop in West Roxbury, but some of the best donuts anywhere. When you hold an Anna's donut you know you have something substantial in your hand. Always fresh and delicious.

Yelp
I'll be the first to admit I love donuts from obscure donut shops. From Ziggys to Demets and now Anna's I was in the area and searched on Yelp for a donut shop and there is was - Anna's Hand Cut Donuts. Standard -- cash only, this is normal btw. And a limited selection of donuts - also normal. I bought two dozen for the office and the team loved them. I bought a chocolate crunch for myself and it was divine. What makes a great donut -- a good crunch on the first bite, soft doughy middle and the flavor and sugar don't overwhelm me. This donut met that standard. Service was perfect for the genre. If you are expecting HoneyDew or Dunkin, drive by, this is not your place. If you want a classic donut from West Roxbury -- this is the place. And leave a tip.
google avatar

L F.

Yelp
This is solely reviewing the modest selection of famous hand cut donuts here. Other offerings in addition to the pillowy classics included Chocolate Coconut, delightful cruellers, and Black Raspberry Jelly. A landmark spot to check off our donut bucket list. Get a sack to go.

Yelp
Stopped for a donut 2.50 a donut ... holy Batman ... the prices for dinky donuts Lousy and never to return. Used to be good jelly donuts here. Had a honey dew... small and not worth 2.50 Boston creme another dinky size and very little custard filling and filling had off taste The jelly donut same thing dinky, thimble amount of jelly Roches donuts or Dunkin!s far better at this point. I won't return and entrance way was gross with whatever on doors and does ever cleaned looks like maybe never? Maybe new owner ??? Even 7- eleven donuts better

Mary L.

Yelp
Some of the worst donuts I have ever had! I specifically asked if they were made this morning and told yes. They were either made poorly or NOT made the same day. Not much better than Dunkin Donuts. Very disappointed

Ronald L.

Yelp
We went to this place with high hopes of having fresh donuts, we were severely disappointed, we could have gone to dunkin donuts if we wanted stale overpriced donuts and cash only?? Come on!
google avatar

Yelp
Pros: -Nice people -Great diner vibe Cons: -Maybe just a fluke, but the Boston Cream I ordered today tasted inexplicably like lemon inside, which was not what I was hoping for. Not sure if their standard vanilla cream has a hit of lemon or they made a mistake/didn't clean the piping tips.

Yelp
After 2 years of missing their open hours and full parking, I finally got to try Anna's. It wasn't busy...probably because this is the hottest January 11th (going to be mid-60's) in recent memory. They are cash only. Helpfully, they do have an ATM there. The facilities were clean. I bought 4 donuts-- honey dipped, chocolate honey dipped, jelly stick, and cream filled. I did like the cream filled. The jelly stick had an unusual nuance-- almost like a slight rosemary accent (probably just me). The other 2 were ok. I think my high expectations probably factored into my review. I'm glad that I did finally get to try them.

D S.

Yelp
I love that we have a donut shop in the neighborhood; I just don't love Anna's donuts. I don't even like them, and that makes me sad. The main reason I wouldn't recommend their donut is they leave that waxy texture in your mouth that happens when baked goods are made with margarine. I doubt they are somehow frying donuts with margarine, but that's the best analog I can think of to how mouth feels after eating their donuts. I do like that they have coconut donuts. I'm bummed they don't have apple fritters. Donuts cost about $2 a piece.

Yelp
Oof, this place makes me a bit sad to review. My friend brought me here because it's such a local spot near his home during my visit. Obviously, if you've seen it, the place LOOKS like a donut-dive. The outside is run down and needs a fresh layer of paint, this inside is about the same if not a tiny bit worse. The tables were dirty with donut crumbs (as was the floor). It was disgusting by any means, just a bit uncared for as guests cycled through and worn down. The biggest issue I had with this place was the service. First, we stepped partially up to the counter to see the options (with no other guests there) and were asked what we would like. When we said we didn't know yet, the woman behind the counter seemed annoyed by us? We made our choices and ordered and the entire time she seemed pestered by us being there, supporting her business. When I asked what their best donut was, as I was curious if there was a favorite! she was un-enthused and again seemed annoyed at my stretching out this encounter. It was beyond just no-frills service, it made me feel unwelcome. As for the pricing, I paid about $6 for 3 donuts. Not too bad at all for the quality of the donut itself, but leaning a bit towards the high end for basic donuts (since the price per donut is the same for a basic glazed as a fancier filled). Lastly, the donuts themselves. What a shame, I think, that everything else was so bad here otherwise I would have been pretty happy! The honey glazed basic donut was great. It has a really soft texture and a gentle flavor (not a ton happening, but the texture is really the star). I also had the blackberry jelly filled one and that was also very tender, though the jam tasted a bit like just a basic jarred jam. Out of my three, the Bavarian Cream was my least favorite. It didn't have as much soft give to it. Overall, better than Dunkin or a gas station if that's where you usually get donuts (which I can't imagine doing, but I'm not a Bostonian), but the overall experience is not a fun one. Just get your donuts and go.

Yelp
I boycotted Anna's for years out of spite because of the nasty older woman who works the counter. A few months ago I heard they hired a nice young girl, so I started going back. I thoroughly enjoyed her service and friendly welcome. Last week I went in for donuts and the same nasty woman was back. I will No longer be giving my patronage to Anna's donuts as the older counter woman is a rude nasty woman. She almost makes donuts unenjoyable.

Yelp
Ah, disappointment! Anna's was listed on Boston.com's website as one of the top donut spots in the area (and the picture posted of their donuts looked amazing) so we decided to make the trek out to West Roxbury directly after landing at Logan Airport. After an almost 45 minute drive, we made it to Anna's and ordered: -Jelly Stick (http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/annas-hand-cut-donuts-west-roxbury?select=bmkYp38S0NQ7NfUfL-fN_g#IVDDWS6lb6FUD7ylane2wQ): Eh.. this was interesting, but strange tasting. The texture of the donut was like that of an old-fashioned donut, but it had a weird aftertaste that tasted like thyme. I wouldn't order this again. -Honey Dip (http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/annas-hand-cut-donuts-west-roxbury?select=bmkYp38S0NQ7NfUfL-fN_g#N-Kc838iZ_klEnCnJP518Q): Just average for me. The donut looked a lot smaller in person, and I'm surprised this flavor sells out so quickly. While we ate our donuts in the store, at least half a dozen other people came in to order donuts, and almost all the customers ordered at least one honey dip. I guess my expectations for Anna's was too high, especially based on the picture I saw on Boston.com's website. I was expecting a thick but pillowy soft donut with some chew. However, the donut I ate was small and didn't seem to have much flavor. i wished I could have reheated for a bit, as I think that would have made a big difference. Overall, I would probably come back to try different donut flavors if I were in the area, but wouldn't go out of my way to return. There is street parking available, but spots may be limited depending on the time you come. NOTE: CASH ONLY!

Yelp
Brendan: Happened to drive past here while driving home a new way from work. What a treat. A classic donut shop. I had a honey drip donut, which was one of the best that I've had in a while and I have become a fair donut connoisseur of late. Truly appreciate how fresh and light it was. Definitely will be visiting more often. Make sure you bring cash, or use the ATM in the shop window.

Meggety W.

Yelp
Today I was relieved to see the sweetest girl behind the counter. The older woman who is usually there is an absolute grump. It pains me to buy anything from her; she is unappreciative and rude. The young girl today was bubbly and friendly. Made such a difference. The doughnuts were mediocre and $22.50 for a dozen is ridiculous, but at least the customer service was good today! Anna, if you want to keep your customers, get rid of Crabby Patty behind the counter!

Matthew M.

Yelp
Not honest. Went there this morning. Got 60$ out of the bank, went directly there to buy a coffee, accidentally gave the older guy (think its the owner) behind the counter two 20$. He pocketed 1 and gave me my change. Noticed him staring at me the whole time i walked to my car, didn't think much of it. When i went to get gas, realized i was missing 20$, now it makes sense. Can't support a business that steals from customers.

Yelp
Drive past Dunkin' and pull up to Anna's instead. Their jelly donuts are to die for and I can't resist a journey there whenever I am in West Roxbury. Make sure you get there before they run out of donuts and make sure to bring cash. It's a popular spot for good reason.

Alexander L.

Yelp
I bought a couple of Boston cream and there ain't shit inside. It's just a piece of dough. It's like paying for a buffalo chicken calzone and getting a piece of pita bread. Also their honey dip tastes like salmon

Yelp
Recently visited Anna's and picked up a dozen donuts and iced coffees. Our family has grown tired of DD and wanted to try something new. All of us are glad we went to Anna's! From our perspective, this place is the Holy Grail of donut shops! Grocery store bakery donuts in Boston are awful. DD is ok and the prices are reasonable. Anna's offers fresh donuts and a simple but satisfying selection. The honey-dipped is the best, not being too overglazed. The black raspberry jelly-filled are about as perfect as you can get. The Bavarian cream donut is the best I've had in a long time. This is the voice of experience speaking, as I've eaten donuts in many different places east of the Mississippi, and Anna's offers you something you probably haven't had before -- donuts that are more like homemade. If you don't like them the first time, give up your favorite donuts and go back to Anna's a few times. You'll be glad you did.

Yelp
Fine donuts, but like some others have said here, it's a basic donut operation. What they do have is good, but they don't have frosting options, creative flavors, or special toppings. It's good for locals wanting a cheap donut. The coffee is fine when you need caffeine.
google avatar

Henry B.

Yelp
My wife and I are new to the area and were thrilled to find a local donut shop. We tried four different types of donuts and enjoyed them all. The honey-dipped were light, but more substantial than Krispy Kreme, and the cake donuts had the right balance of crumble to moisture. They were exactly what we were hoping for from a long-standing, community donut shop. We'll be back for more. Donuts aside, it's exciting to find and support a business with a soul, instead of the endless franchises owned by holding companies. Cash only, but they have an ATM.
google avatar

Jack J.

Yelp
Old fashion donut shop - donuts and service very middle of the road - nothing to rave or go out of you way for. I would be just as satisfied at Dunks or Honey Dew without the travel.

Korri C.

Yelp
The woman who works here seems to go out of her way to be as unfriendly and lackluster as possible. Zero personality and every time I go in there she makes me feel like Im bothering her. This place is literally a 1 min drive from my house and I drive 15-20 mins to Blackbird or Union instead just to avoid her. What a bummer.

Yelp
Stopped in today around 10:30am after casing the joint for a few months. This place looks like a blast from the past inside and out and their donuts are no joke. They were sold out of the honey dipped so I opted for the next closest, the coffee roll, and halfway through had to get another because my husband needed his own. He also had a buttercrumb, a little on the heavy side for me but still awesome and light years better than Dunks. I wanted an egg sandwich "fresh on the grill" but they were sold out of all the breads used for sandwiches which I take as a good sign. The girl working the counter was really sweet and is the daughter of the owner who makes the donuts himself every day. Future reference - they close at noon during the summer, so if you want the best picks, go early!
google avatar

Christina D.

Yelp
Got 8 total donuts. Told the teller in advance I was getting 8 so she could decide how to package them. Sadly they were haphazardly shoved in a bag. The chocolate frosting mostly stayed stuck to the sides of the bag and wax paper (included a photo). Absolute disaster. This place has potential, just sloppy.

Yelp
Old school donut shop that's been in West Roxbury my entire life. There's nothing fancy about it but it serves consistently great donuts.

Brad L.

Yelp
I had a colleague bring in donuts from here a few months back, and they were really good. The place is not really "near" me, but it's not too far, either. I had been meaning to find a time to check it out in person for a while, and this morning - after promising my little boy a special treat donut - I finally made the time to head over to Anna's. I loaded my toddler and my infant into the car and trekked a few towns over to get our donuts. I get over to West Roxbury and drive around to find a place to park, schlep my two kids down a couple blocks to the store, get to the door, and....these freaking people are on vacation. Closed for 10 days. Listen, I love family owned businesses. Would choose to spend my money at family owned restaurants and stores 10 times out of 10, if given the choice. But if you cannot be relied on to be open for business during normal business hours and are just going to randomly decide to not be available to customers on a whim, I cannot trust you. I can't invest a Saturday morning dragging two kids a few towns over to treat them to one of your delicious donuts only to be met by a locked door and a note in the window. This is 2018, not 1953. If you own a business, there is no requirement to work every day of your life - get a staff, train them to run the place, and then you can go on vacation without disappointing (or, in my case, enraging) your would-be customers. The worst thing I can say about a business is that it is unreliable. No matter how good your donuts are, if you can't be relied on to be open and ready to sell them, you're no good to me. So this was my first and last attempt to visit Anna's. I can't in good conscience spend my money at a place that would just randomly shut its doors on its would-be customers. It's too bad, too, because I think the donuts are pretty good.

Q B.

Yelp
Stop going to Dunkies and Starbucks for your breakfast sandwiches. Go to Anna's! Everything is fresh. I get either a bacon/egg/cheese or a sausage/egg/cheese on a croissant or bagel. Donuts are delicious. Honey dip, honey dew, Boston cream, Bavarian cream, jelly, and chocolate glazed are the ones I always get. If you want to experience a true, local West Roxbury business, go to Anna's!! You won't be disappointed.
google avatar

William M.

Yelp
When is this place actually open? On two occasions I have tried to get donuts from Anna's and they have been closed before their 1PM (which is also ridiculously early) time. I understand it is a small business but some people are going out of their way to go there. Perhaps making a website so people know when they're selling out!? Not gonna make the trip to try again will just have to settle for Blackbird if I want something other than Dunks
google avatar

Joseph G.

Yelp
These babies are just a half a step behind Kane's, but nonetheless additive. Plus, the owner, Kosta gets up at 2 in the morning to get to work. This man knows all about "Time to make the donuts." he lives everyday 7 days a week. I bought one honey-dipped and walked out the door, by the time I got to my car, I turned right back around to grab a dozen. Damn you donut man!!! Next time I'll bike over so I won't feel so guilty. My only gripe is Anna's is open from 5-1pm...yeah, that's right, it's only for early birds, but at least you won't get stuck with a flat greasy donut. Also, be forewarned try not to go on a Sunday, the Greek church is right next door and the line starts early and stays all day long.
google avatar

Daniel M.

Yelp
Some really goood donuts here. I've been going to Anna's since the 1970s and, while some things have changed about it, the essential goodness of the place has stayed the same. I don't ever turn down an opportunity to stop by Anna's, which has retained its overall quality for decades and is a worthy competitor to any donut place anywhere. Coffee is OK...not as good as Dunkin, but it holds its own and always has. Unlike DD's, though, I wouldn't come for the coffee alone, but for Anna's universe of cholesterol, fat, and doughy treats. The variety of doughnuts, cruellahs, and muffins are always fresh and just a bit lighter than one would find in a chain location. Get this...what you'd taste at Anna's today isn't the best they've ever offered. Back around 25 years ago, during a change in ownership the original recipe went with one of the bakers, who later founded Donut Junction in Needham. Those were the closet to the donuts that brought people from miles around to Anna's. Still, what's there now ranks with the best donuts served anywhere. Parking is spotty (on the street) and its hours exclude a visit late in the day. Still, a trip to Anna's is worth the time and travel from just about anywhere. I no longer enjoy my once-customary ritual of a half-dozen chocolate doughnuts and a large coffee there on Sundays but whenever I'm in West Roxbury Anna's is a regular stop. Mmmmm.
google avatar

Deanna H.

Yelp
A family trip from PA to Boston area for the weekend. I love to try local donut shops. After a quick search we decided to try Anna's. 1 dozen donuts over $19. The donuts were fresh. The glazed were light and tender, I prefer a bit more body in a raised donut. The cake donuts were dry and the outer layer fell off. The coffee wasn't anything special.
google avatar

T J.

Yelp
I've been here multiple times & I've got to say the donuts here are awful. I figured maybe the first time it was just a bad batch. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and I bought a box & brought it to my job. Bad idea. The donuts were really bad. One bite & we each threw the donuts away. They tasted as if while the donuts were being made, someone dropped cigarette ashes into the recipe. Not good. Stay clear.
google avatar

Brian D.

Yelp
AWESOME home made donuts, oh my god I wish was there right now. I swear all of West Roxbury smells like a donut in the morning due to the evil bakers at Anna's. It's a donut shop so you get what you get there, donuts, coffee - and seeing as that we are in modern times they have some other things like bagels, blah, blah, blah. Back to the donuts, I remember these buggers from growing up, I swear they are why I was husky 9 year old. Best bets there are the classics: black coffee, glazed donuts, chocolate glazed donuts and jelly donuts. If you are a church goer, beware - Anna's is real close to the big church St. Theresas in Westy - and if you go to a Sunday AM mass you will probably faint from hunger as you wait in line for communion with the smell of these atrocities overpowering the stale church air.
google avatar

Mary M.

Yelp
I really like Anna's. We stopped in again recently and the donuts were great. It also has a little diner like breakfast bar if you want to eat in. The honey glaze and plain donuts are consistently delicious. I also like the chocolate and the jelly stick.
google avatar

J D.

Yelp
Un-good. Run down place, which is fine if the food is good, but the donuts just aren't good. Dry, stale, and not a very big assortment. Service was very distant and uninterested. The server was a little annoyed that she had to stop her conversation with a regular in a booth to get up and go to the counter. A box of Entenmann's donuts is a better option than Anna's.
google avatar

Marcus W.

Yelp
Stopped by this morning was going through West Roxbury. Thrillist has a new review out of the 5 best donuts in Boston! Anna's Hand Cut Donuts. The must-get is the Black Raspberry jelly stick. So I was game to try it. The dunkin donut jelly sticks are awful!! It's a mom and pop store look, not up to date style. The blk raspberry jelly stick was GREAT! A evenly full amount and moist and crunchy on the outside.
google avatar

Susan e.

Yelp
I don't know Boston donuts. I live in L.A. But I know donuts and these are pretty darn good. The best thing about them is that they aren't greasy at all. They have superior flavor. The chocolate glazed cake donuts are really rich and chocolatey, even though they look like they aren't. The honey-dipped have a really intense nutmeg flavor - unlike many dont bakeries, Anna's isn't afraid of the nutmeg. The coconut and butternut cake donuts are also very good. I didn't try the yeast-raised donuts because I am a cake donut gal. Read another review to see how those taste. I'll be visiting Anna next time I go to Boston for sure.

Yelp
I'll probably get shanked for this one, but I'm standing by it until further notice. I've been here a few times(when it's open) and sampled the plain donut, glazed and breakfast sandwiches. The donuts were good, if not unspectacular and the breakfast sandwich was standard issue. Where I'm knocking points off is on their hours, price and coffee. If you're gonna consider yourself a quality donut shop, good coffee is an absolute must! With each trip the coffee has gotten worse and worse, ranging from watery to overheated/burnt. Their rates are much higher than you'd want to pay for a local cafe, with a breakfast sandwich and large coffee coming in at nearly 10 bucks! I know Dunks' can afford bulk pricing, but c'mon! If this place hadn't been a Centre St. staple/centrally-located, they'd have closed their doors long ago. I don't know if they're just riding on reputation at this point or no one's giving honest feedback. Either way, a closer look at their offerings is in order.

Kristina M.

Yelp
Their donuts are the best around. Classic flavors, melt-in-your-mouth honey dip and more! Their coffee is really good too! Highly recommend this long-time local spot.

Jake G.

Yelp
Me and a buddy ordered the exact same sandwich except he paid 5 dollars and I was charged 8 dollars for exactly the same thing. The owner was hitting on the two girls next to me after the clearly told him they weren't interested not to mention there was cigarette ash still on the table I was eating off of.

Jen M.

Yelp
Anna's has always had the best donuts. I love simple donuts and they have powdered which seems to be a hit or miss at large chains. I go every Sunday and they're gone by the end of the day in a small household. One of my favorite staples in the neighborhood
google avatar

Jimmy M.

Yelp
I love donuts. No, I mean I REALLY love donuts, and I have traveled stupid distances to find good ones. I would go hungry rather than eat the wonder-bread crap they try and pass off for donuts at DD's. Anna's donuts deserve six stars, and those who give them less than five must not know what a donut is supposed to be. The best measure of a donut is the plain donut, but I go crazy for the cinnamon. My wife is a pastry chef by trade and very, very snobby about food in general, and she loves these donuts too.

Don R.

Yelp
Our family has been coming here for over 25 years. The donuts are always fresh. The cake donuts are among the best we have ever had. The jelly donuts are positively addicting! Whenever our relatives come from Florida to visit, we always treat them to some of Anna's donuts.
google avatar

Mike D.

Yelp
Very good donuts! I don't understand how anyone could write anything bad about the donuts at this place. We were lucky to find this place, as the pickings are slim in Boston.
google avatar

Steve L.

Yelp
Fluffy donuts, just make sure they change the fry oil next time. Stopped by Anna's on the sleepy drive back from an overnight shift at work, and thought a donut would hit the spot. Amazingly, plenty of street parking on a Saturday morning. Reasonable donut selection, but I went for the honey-dipped, as this was my first try. Donut was light, fluffy, and actually a nice split between the over-soft Krispy Kreme vs the over-chewy Dunkin varieties, and was definitely a hit - texture-wise. Unfortunately, subsequent bites left a sour after-taste which undoubtedly came from old fryer oil. Now old fryer oil is okay in restaurants that do donuts by day and fried chicken by night, because that's some funky fusion flavor. No excuses here. Will give these guys one more try.

Yelp
Great old fashion donut shop. Super friendly affordable ($17) for a dozen. Just beautiful donuts with great homemade taste..worth the drive!

Yelp
How not to do customer service. I had a hankering for a do-nut this morning so I stopped by Anna's on the way to wait for the commuter rail. The lady behind the counter was processing what look like invoices, gave me a dull, lack luster 'good morning', no welcoming "nice to have your business" smile, never looked me in the eye once, and after handing me the do-nut and taking my money, continued with her invoicing. Now I have been to Anna's a few times and always the same response from this lady. The do-nuts are better than DDs but I do not know if I will go back to experience the same unfriendly attitude. If you are in the business of selling to customers, treat your customers like you are happy to see them! At least when someone smile's at you, try to return the smile! Small business 101. I received a better response from the young clerk at a 7-11 the same morning. (Oh, for Pete's sake, post your hours! And they only accept cash.)

Yelp
While I have only been here a few times, the service has been wonderful, and the coffee, both the iced and hot, were delicious. I had tried my favorite, jelly donuts the first time that I was in and they were very good, with lots of jelly filling. The second or third time I had stopped in, they didn't have two granulated sugar jelly donuts, so Eleni, the owner, steered me toward heir glazed jelly donuts. They were amazing. They were very light and fluffy and loaded with filling. I now have a new favorite. I highly recommend Anna's Hand Cut Donuts to everyone. They are far superior to DD, their donuts and coffee are excellent , and, there are also no lines. Sincerely, Phyllis G. Hyde Park
