Anna's Pizza

I am in Rockford often so I regularly try different restaurants and have been judging all the pizza places. The pizza I got was very good. Sauce is most of the flavor on pizza and the sauce had a great sweet flavor. I really enjoyed the crust but for those that like thin crust it was a bit thick, which I personally prefer, so order the thin crust if you like thin. Overall very good pizza and a friendly staff when I went in to pick up the pizza. So far I think this is my favorite pizza in Rockford.

My Pizza was made by the owner themselves. Late at night, right before closing. One of the best pizzas I've had in a long time for the price. Delicious Pizza, fresh meat and vegetables. The sauce is very tasty. I would recommend anybody going there and getting a Pizza to try it. 10 stars all across-the-board.

I recently moved back to Rockford, so I’ve been trying different pizza places to find a favorite. This pizza is delicious! I ordered a sausage, bell pepper and mushroom. I’m not even finished eating yet and on here leaving a review. They’ve got a perfect amount of toppings and the crust is perfect too! This is good stuff!

This is basically a takeout place though they do have one table in the lobby that looks like it could seat 6-8 diners. I was traveling on business and doing laundry next door and walked in. I ordered Lasagna with a salad and bread. It was all great though I wish I would've asked for butter for the bread. The Lasagna was really good. The salad was small but fresh lettuce and tasty French dressing made it a winner. I think the Google reviews are low considering the experience I had

First time there and will go back. PERFECT! I just went back for a second time and I swear they forgot the toppings. I saw about 4-5 lil pieces of sausage, a couple lil pieces of tomato, and a few lil pieces of paper thin pepperoni on a small pizza for 17$ n change. Lol wow!

Anna’s pizza has always been our favorite. The sauce is sweet and not overpowering. The toppings are generous. And you can’t beat the customer service!

I Order take out all the time I love this place the pizza sauce is delicious and the crust is that perfect cracker crust your looking for well at least it is when I order lol

My top place in rockford Anna has been my favorite for years now. Highly suggest pizza Pasta side is also very good.

We ordered ahead 3 medium pizzas. A meat lovers, a cheese and a pepperoni. This was SO GOOD and the husband and I are huge pizza connoisseurs . I'm pretty sure my baby is made of 95% pizza lol. The service was fast and friendly. When we got there we loved how it looked like a mom and pop place. They had the football game going so we didn't miss out on our game! Thank you for being such a clean place. Will definitely be ordering again from here

I ordered taco pizza. never had a taco pizza before with no refried beans. pizza was mediocre at best. very disappointing. won't order again!

Great local spot. Underrated 100%. So much so that I had never even ordered from here until recently despite it being open for years. Get the Italian Salad, the dressing is really good and has all the ingredients from most other places. Pizza is legit 9/10. I usually just get cheese but it's all good. Great crust and nice rich sauce. Great prices and all the people that deliver and work the phones are SUPER nice and good at their job.

Called on Saturday at 3 pm to place order and was hung up on after I asked if it could be ready soon after I called. Would only have to told me they didn't open until 4 Rude customer service will not bring me back.

I got food poisoning from this place years back. It's probably whatever recipe they use. But since then I've never gone back, never looks busy. So I think a majority of these reviews are paid and fake.

Anna's is the epitome of "Rockford pizza". We order from here a lot. We love them so much. Seriously the best pizza in Rockford.

1st time going to Anna's, 1st impression?...meh. Ordered thin crust pizza, and was...disappointed. The crust was tasteless, which is a big issue for me all by itself. Next (and I can't believe I'm saying this), maybe there was too much cheese? I know! Who knew you could have too much cheese?! - however, I said "maybe" and that's because it might be because of the order they put the toppings and not the volume of cheese. They put the sauce, then individual toppings, and cheese last. Whether it was too much cheese or the fact that it was put on last, this didn't work for me. All that being said, it's pizza - even when it's not great, it's still edible.

Have driven by here for many many years. Never stopped in. We usually go to Pinos or Giuseppis or Dominoes. Or maybe Olympic for pizza. All in the same area if not on same street. Tonight we decided to step out of our comfort zone and try Anna's. We got a large pizza and their Thursday night special, meat lasagna. Bye bye everybody else!! You just lost our business. Anna's food was better than the other 3 places, and very reasonable prices. Especially compared to Pinos. Delicious! And their regular crust stayed crispy! What a shame we passed them by all those years. Dumb.

Best pizza on the northwest side of Rockford for sure!! Amazing service these guys get pizza to you so quick even with everything going on their food is amazing and by the way don't forget to check out their cheesecake yes they deliver cheesecake it is by far the best cheesecake I've ever had in my life they all come individually wrapped so so good the best crust that I have had best service just love this place and price is right on point will always be going back to Anna's

Anna's pizza is the best in Rockford, very generous with toppings and the crust is the bomb. Fresh mushrooms, fresh wonderful sausage. Their prices are so affordable. Anybody new in town or staying at one of our hotels give Anna's a try, you will not be disappointed.

Great alternative to Sams on Charles! We called Sam's and they were very rude to my disabled husband. He's had strokes and they were rude saying they couldn't understand him and they were really snotty. Calling Anna's was like a breath of fresh air! They were kind and very courteous and the food is just as good if not better because of the great customer service!! Thank you Anna's Pizza

I was happily surprised. Pizza was really good and arrived hot. Soda was cold. They also brought plates for us. Delivery was fast considering it was a Friday night. I'm really happy with our meal. We would definitely order from them again

The best pizza spot! Large one topping pizza for $7.99... cant beat that! I have been coming here for 9 years! Great staff..... delicious pastas and very friendly atmosphere

I just ordered Anna's pizza that was really nasty and gross I asked for extra sauce they just put the sauce all over that thin nasty pizza. Never again

To me personally Anna's is the best pixza in Rockford! I lived in Chicago 20yrs. I've had good pizza & I must say that Anna's is in my top 3 pizza joints in my entire life! Along with the great food, the staff is great too! Never had a bad experience ever with them! It's definitely worth checking out! You won't regret it!

In my opinion, the pizza is very bland. The crust tastes like a Tombstone pizza, just thicker and undercooked. The cheese is possibly some bagged low-moisture mozzerella, but more likely it's an imitation cheese product. The sauce is ok, but not enough to save this boring pie. Reminds me a lot of other pizza I've had in the area, so maybe it's just the way everyone around here likes it.

Fair prices, good food, friendly staff.

Okay, first thing you gotta know is that I work here, so I'm a little biased. But as someone who is not only a big, big fan of Italian food but has also dedicated almost 20 years to cooking, serving and delivering it, I'm a pretty good judge of good Italian food. Anna's serves up an excellent variety of tasty take-out and delivery for some very reasonable prices. The hallmark pizza is a traditional New York style thin crust (thick and stuffed are avaiable upon request) cooked in an old school Blodgett oven - simply the best way to cook a pizza. The sausage is particularly tasty. The Italian beef sandwiches are absolutely delicious, served on one of the best tasting rolls around. My wife and I routinely order the chef salad, topped with pepperoni, black and green olives, onions, mushrooms, tomatoes and fresh ground mozarella cheese. The salad is so flavorful that we usually don't use any dressing! And this from somebody who normally covers his salad in dressing. And there is so much more. Meatball subs, lasagna, spaghetti, chicken, canolli... the list goes on and on. And I should mention that Anna's does everything fresh. The dough is made daily, the bread comes from a local bakery, even the cheese is ground right at the store! The service is quick and friendly, and, yes, there really is an Anna and she's alway there, ready to help you with a smile! Anna's does take-out and delivery (there is no dine-in) and is closed on Mondays. Simply a must try! Two big thumbs up!
