Anna’s Taqueria Expands to the Prudential Center This Week | Eater Boston

"Opening its eighth location inside one of Boston’s landmark buildings, this longtime local burrito shop—operating for more than 20 years—brings a familiar menu of tacos, burritos, rice and salad bowls, and quesadillas to the Prudential Center. Convenient for Back Bay workers and located near Saks Fifth Avenue, the new outpost will also serve breakfast (starting at 7 a.m.) with egg-filled burritos, breakfast tacos, and rice bowls, plus orange juice and horchata. It will operate seven days a week from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m., serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and joins several recent dining additions to the building while complementing seven sibling locations across Brookline, Newton, Cambridge, Somerville, and Boston." - Dana Hatic

What happened to Anna’s?! It went from one of the best in Boston to one of the worst. Did the business sell? Bowls and burritos are insultingly small for the cost and flavorless! The chips were worse than Tostitos. Skip this place. I’d rather go to Chipotle!

There’s no real difference between the regular and super burritos other than the price — the meat portions are identical. Two years ago, I was a loyal fan of Anna’s. However, in recent months, my wife and I have noticed a significant reduction in portion sizes, especially the meat (like chicken). The super burrito used to include two scoops of chicken; now they only serve one, and it seems they’re intentionally measuring to ensure it’s just a single scoop. We’ve raised this issue several times, but the staff simply replied, “We were told this is the standard size.” Unfortunately, it’s no longer worth the price for a lunch. We’ve decided to stop going. Attaching picture of a súper burrito. Look how thin it is.

Just like everyone else is saying, this place has gone way downhill. Portions are offensively small. A $15 burrito is like 6” long. We ordered from UberEats and there was a BOGO offer on bowls. Well, the bowls are so small it’s not really a deal at all. They also forgot the guacamole on the burrito and Uber wouldn’t refund it. We used to be huge fans of Anna’s, but we’re done. There are so many better options for the price point. I think they expanded beyond what they could handle.

The ordering system is a bit confusing. The first gal was pleasant. I told her the type of burrito I wanted then got shuffled over to another employee who was great but I was uncertain of what was in each container. I ordered grilled corn and was NOT told there was an extra $1.75. If I knew that I wouldn't have added it.

A 10$ bowl got up charged to a 17$ bowl. When I asked about it they said it was the guacamole but pretty much refused to show me an itemized list. never coming here again, what a scam.

I ordered a burrito to-go in person from their Prudential location. When I got home and started eating the burrito, I bit into something incredibly hard and thought it was a bone from chicken. I took it out and it was a thin piece of metal wire. I called the location to report the metal in my food and the employee on the phone could not care less. I told him there might be more pieces in the food stations they have out and that they should probably be inspected. The employee seemed totally indifferent and just said "is there anything else I can help you with today?" If you do choose to eat here, please be very careful!!

This location is hit or miss. Some days it's good but it's a roll of the dice. They're lazy and don't cut up the meat, toppings some days. Huge beef cubes are not meant to be in a burrito. If you ask for peppers they barely cut it up and just dump huge chunks of pepper in the burrito. Too hit or miss to go any more.

Omggg! This was delish! We are in town visiting and we ate lunch here after The View. It was tasty, fresh and quick! I loved that they cut the meat right there in front of you! I’ll def be on the look out for this restaurant in the future! It was fabulous
