Excellent place! This blows all the other halal Thai spots of out the water. The ambiance is elevated but cozy. The staff and service was very attentive and pleasant. The owner was also very sweet and genuine. Tiger steak was probably one of the best dishes l've have this year. Perfect cooked and seasoned with a phenomenal sauce. The other dishes was also flavorful and the portions of meat was very generous. So nice to have authentic Thai with good quality halal meat. Mango and sticky rice was also perfection. Great experience all around, can't wait to go back

Google
An excellent authentic Thai option doing more restrained but flavorful takes on Thai dishes (compared to street food) but in a relaxed atmosphere at a reasonable price point. Have been multiple times, and enjoyed fried rice, curries and noodles, as well as crab cakes and chive dumplings. Recently ordered the lime chicken and rice and enjoyed the acidity, crispy chicken, and a nice sweet and spicy mayo. Friends have had the Khao Soi and enjoyed the broth. Flavors in all dishes are both bright and really well balanced, and composition is not overly sauced. For the price, it’s not massive portions, but the flavors and fresh ingredients here are top-notch in the Chicago Thai scene.

The food here is absolutely incredible—delicious, made with top-quality ingredients, and the service is outstanding. Without a doubt, this has been my best Thai food experience in the Chicagoland area. I was too hungry to snap photos of the main dishes, but here’s the dessert 😂

Great food, great experience and excellent service! Had an amazing time. Everything had their each and unique flavor! Definitely would get the same dishes again and change the meat.

Google
Fast service. Food is flavored well. Wonton noodle soup was good - although I would have preferred the traditional egg noodles with it. They had garlic pieces in the soup - yum! Broth - very good. Service was pleasant. Parking is metered parking. I wouldn’t mind trying other dishes if I am ever back in the area again.

Google
Without a doubt, this has become our favorite Thai restaurant in town. The Crab Rangoon was simply exquisite, perfectly flaky and irresistibly moist. Alongside the appetizers, we savored the Chicken Pad Thai and Chicken and Shrimp Pad-See-Iew, both of which were full of flavor and aroma. The service was exceptional, attentive and friendly staff, we even got a chance to meet Anna herself, the friendliest person you’ll ever meet. If you want a total dining experience, Anna's Thai Kitchen Restaurant it is, nothing in the area compares to the culinary Thai experience.

We recently visited Anna’s Thai Kitchen with my husband and our one-year-old son, and I was genuinely impressed by the outstanding customer service. Our waitress was incredibly helpful and brought our baby’s food right away. Another team member even stopped by with stuffed animals to keep our little one entertained—such a thoughtful touch! We felt so welcomed, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. But the biggest surprise? The food. It was AMAZING—like, out of this world! I’ve never had such a delicious Thai meal in Chicago. Our baby devoured the basil fried rice with beef, and my husband is still raving about the pad Thai. Anna’s Thai Kitchen truly won our hearts, and we can’t wait to go back!

Google
I came here at around 5pm ish and it was empty. It is halal, so that’s great. The tom kha soup was some of the best I’ve ever had! We also ordered the drunken noodles with tofu, and the tofu was so perfectly charred. Service was great, and I believe Anna herself came to ask how everything was- she was so nice! Loved the two things we ordered and would definitely want to try more!

Yelp
Awesome authentic Thai food, great service and friendly environment. Chef Anna is the best! Definitely coming back

Yelp
Absolutely loved it! Great food and friendly people. The food is actually pretty unique. Haven't had this kind of Thai food before. Feels like it's more homemade than mass produced restaurant food.

Yelp
I ordered take out from this restaurant. I was very disappointed. Although I ordered 2 dishes (which may have been the wrong ones), I would not go back. Basil Stir Fried Over Rice ($17.99) with tofu Pad See-iew ($16.99) with chicken There is also an online surcharge of 68 cents were dish. I like basil stir fried rice with a fried egg but this would be an additional $2 so did not order it. I note the prices because the portions in the take out containers were measly. And the food itself... was not good. The Pad see-iew noodles were fused together and a terrible texture. The sauce was watery and did not have good flavor. The chicken had a slightly charred flavor which was not great with the watery sauce. Without doubt, this was the worst pad see-iew I've ever had. The tofu in the basil stir fried rice tasted as if it had sat some time before being fried and had an unpleasant texture. The flavor of this dish was better than the pad see-iew. This restaurant may be better in person but I do not have plans to go back given my experience with food that I struggled to finish because it was so bad and was much more expensive than other Thai restaurants I go to.

Yelp
Back in Chicago to visit my sister & help her move - my reward, hanging out with her & eating dinner at Anna's Thai Kitchen! WIN-WIN in my opinion. I love that Anna's is BYOB & there is a little liquor store right next door. A beautiful rosé or cold lager goes so well with spicy Thai food. We started with Betel Herb Wraps: the traditional royal snack - a bite of the perfect combination of roasted coconut flake with Thai herbs, ginger, shallot, roasted peanut, fresh Thai bird chili wrapped around with wild Betel leaves. I am OBSESSED with this appetizer & so is my sister - we get two orders so we don't have to share! We followed this up with fried oysters which were rich, creamy, umami with a delightful slightly spicy sauce. The meat course featured Kao Soi (beef curry noodles) with the magical fried noodles that hold up the chopsticks! Keo Soi can be made with chicken or veggie. It was a good amount of beef in a spicy red curry with two types of noodles - soft wider noodles in the soup & the aforementioned magical fried noodles. The latter are deep fried to hold up the chopsticks in the presentation & the server literally runs the dish to your table because the steam softens the noodles so they dramatically collapse into the soup as it is placed on your table. The combo of everything is delicious! We finished the meal with a whole fried ocean perch with a delightful spicy apple salad & rice. The meat of the fish was so white & the skin/fins were like fish potato chips. We ate every single part of the fish (except the bones). The apple salad was refreshing with a hint of a spicy to cut through the fry of the fish. Outstanding! I look forward to my next Chicago visit to see my sister & once again enjoy the fabulous cooking of Chef Anna at her beautiful restaurant! Highly recommend. NOM NOM NOM #YUM

Yelp
Came by on a weekend for a late lunch. Anna's is super well located right under the brown line stop. The area is really busy although Anna's had no wait at all when we came! The menu is extensive and has some northern Thai specialties like Kao Soi. We ordered a few curries and a couple of appetizers. Their strong point were definitely the curries which were packed with flavor. They used fried tofu in their vegetarian dishes which really adds a nice texture change. The Pad Thai was solid and not too sweet. The soups were less differentiated. The spicy dishes are very spicy! Service was extremely attentive and very nice. Only complaint was the restaurant is very pricey ($20+ per dish which is steeper than places downtown).

Elena C.

Yelp
I love this restaurant! Consistent great food and service by the staff. My favorite dish is the pad see ewe & crab rangoon. Ordering online makes takeout super easy and convenient. Will always recommend this place!

Yelp
Recently tried for the first time for pick up and loved it! Will be brining friends to try more soon! Keep in mind, their highest level of spicy is very hot! I love seeing halal restaurants around Chicago that branches into different cuisine. It tasted like typical Thai food, impressed with that. Both the papaya salad and basil chicken dish tasted flavorful. The mango sticky rice was SOO good! I was a little hesitant about the mango being sour since it's early in the season but it was so good and the rice had such a yummy cream with it! Excited to come back for more.

Yelp
Incredible Thai treat. The food is made to order and fresh. The owner / chef Anna is a delight. Having a world class Thai spot that is also halal is a Chicago dream come true.

Yelp
Loved this place! Can't believe it took me forever to try but this is now my favorite Thai restaurant in Chicago. Every single food item was so tasty. The lychee lemonade was great. Service was great and loved that Anna greeted all the customers. Great experience overall and will be back.

Yelp
The owner is very sweet! Food is delicious! Service is great! Would definitely recommend. Our favorite dishes are the Thai basil fried rice, chicken pad see ew, and rolled fried shrimp appetizer. Thai iced tea is great too!

Yelp
I enjoyed this place when they used to deliver to my apartment. They only deliver in a one mile radius and refused my $60 order because I am 100 feet out of their "delivery range" :( this never was a problem in the past. I'm in the same neighborhood as this restaurant. Person on phone told me to use an address closer to their restaurant and meet them there for pick up..?? They either need to deliver to their customers again or get on the delivery apps.

Yelp
The. best. Thai. restaurant. in. Chicagoland. Anna the owner has blessed us peasants with her food that is like no other. If you eat with your eyes she has also graced us with a photo of each of her dishes which each are a piece of visual artwork: https://annasthaikitchen.com/menu. The two things for newcomers I suggest that may push you out of your comfort zone are the Betel Herb Wrap and the Roller Satay with peanut lava sauce. The Betel Herb Wrap makes you feel like you are experiencing a chef's tasting menu and is the dish that started my trust in Anna. It combines roasted coconut flakes, Thai herbs, and sweet Thai chili fulfilling all needs for sweet and crunchy. Then the Roller Satay sealed the deal with a beautiful melody of seasoned, thin halal chicken covered in a peanut sauce. If you are a sauce lover this is for you! Near the end of our meal Anna herself checked in to ask how we were doing and I was starstruck. This woman is a celebrity in my book with her amazing culinary skills. She informed us on Tuesdays they are closed to the public, but for $100 a person you can book a private event for you and your friends to come in and she cooks for you. This is what dreams are made of - thank you Anna and team!

Yelp
Delicious food! Cute food space! The chef came and even said hi! I would love to come back to this neighborhood spot.

Yelp
Anna is a lovely host and my friend and I had a great time at Anna's Thai kitchen. We stayed pretty simple and ordered pad Thai. Because I'm a little baby I ordered a side of peanut sauce because I always want everything more peanuty. Mine was veggie and it was truly delicious. The coconut in the peanut sauce was a flavor explosion and so pleasant. The heat was just right. The veggies were fresh and generous and I felt great after this meal. My friend liked his as well but thought the chicken was a little dry/over cooked. I am definitely coming back and am eager to try some different things. It's also BYOB which is fantastic. Great addition to the neighborhood and to Chicago's Thai scene

Yelp
Stopped in with the family after checking out a Cat event down the street. Anna's Thai really hit the mark! The staff was super friendly, and the restaurant was nice and clean. We started off with some shrimp wontons that were delicious, we probably could have downed three plates of them. The kids split a plate of basil chicken, and my wife had the Larb Na. It was super citrusy and spicy and we just loved it. It tasted so bright and fresh. I had the bbq pork soup and jazzed it up with some chili oil. We had a great experience and would certainly go back if in the area. Thanks Yelp for helping us find this gem.

Yelp
The food here was so good! I'm a huge fan, and to be honest, I haven't had better Thai food than Anna's. It's very flavorful, good service too! One thing that was also a perk is that they are halal certified. Can't wait to be back!

Yelp
What a blessing to have so many good Thai spots throughout the city and on this far north. I really liked the firecracker shrimp and shrimp blossom appetizers here. My friend loved the crying tiger steak and the grilled pork was also good. It was a good meal and I'm not surprised that so many people were in here on a weekend enjoying Anna's.

Yelp
Love this place!!! Food is great, gluten free options a huge plus. Love the cozy, modern, friendly atmosphere. My go to place for Thai food In the neighborhood.

Yelp
Anna's Thai is a must! We first came across this restaurant on a Friday night, looking for a quick bite. After devouring our red curry and pad Thai, the owner Anna, stopped by to check in. She thanked us for stopping by and mentioned that she does private 5 course dinners (for up to 8) on Tuesday nights. We immediately took her up on the offer and scheduled a meal with a few of our friends. The meal was unreal. Amazing flavors, presentation, and experience. Getting to hear the context behind each dish from Anna was such a treat. We will be coming back for this experience again and bringing more friends! And in the meantime, we have found our new go to Thai spot!

Yelp
Anna's is the best thai food in Chicago (and the best Thai food I've ever had!) hands down. My family and I love visiting Anna and having her share her culture with us through her delicious food. Some of our favorites are the pad woon sen, chu chee salmon, crab rangoon, taro tango, thai crying tiger, pad thai, cashew nuts over rice, and phra ram rong song (the peanut sauce is to DIE for). Basically, we haven't had a dish at Anna's that we haven't loved (and she is very accommodating for dietary restrictions, I'm vegan but my family isn't and we all can't get enough of the food). To top it all off, Anna and her staff are so kind and welcoming. Truly a neighborhood gem, and a destination for anyone visiting Chicago!

Yelp
Wow - this place was such a pleasant surprise! It was my birthday, and we were in a dire situation because two young ones were out and about celebrating with us. Spacca Napoli already had a 1.5 hour wait time at 5pm, which I can't be too surprised about, because that place is awesome. However, we needed something to eat fast. Lucky for us, we found Anna's Thai Kitchen nearby, and as it turns out it wasn't just good for getting us out of a bind - it was just straight up FANTASTIC. I am a big fan of Thai food, and this is some of the best my group and I have ever had. First, the panang curry was excellent, and didn't hold back on the flavor or the heat. Next, my mom could not stop raving about her drunken noodles (pad kee mao). I'd have to say they were the best I've ever had as well. The Thai Crying Tiger Steak dinner was another level of fantastic, and especially when ordered medium rare - I would definitely order this dish on a return visit. Last, and perhaps least, the Neau Num Tok (beef salad) was a bit similar to the Tiger Steak, but not quite as good (less tender cut of meat). It definitely wasn't my favorite version of a beef salad, so I would say to skip it and order the former dish instead for your Thai beef fix. For drinks I tried the Summer Butterfly Pea Drink with boba AND, because it was my birthday, the virgin sangria. Both were excellent! I would describe the butterfly pea drink as a rather glamorous limeade (since I feel like a lot of the flavor comes from the lime juice you pour in). The virgin sangria tastes like the non-alcoholic grape juice you can get around New Year's, but better, and it comes with plenty of floating fruit for you to pick at once the drink is gone. Service was kind, warm, and excellent. The restaurant itself was clean and inviting. You do have to view the menu via QR code, which is not a trend I overly favor. Do be prepared for that. Prices are also a little rough, but probably not too bad for the area. Besides, the quality is good and all of the food is made to order. Overall, I would highly recommend a visit here for any fans (or prospective fans) of Thai cuisine. I wish we lived closer so we could visit more often and try more things! Either way, we will make a point to come back.

Yelp
This is what I've been waiting for; a Thai restaurant run by someone who cares passionately for the food. Anna is amazing. I had the fried tofu, green deep fried wontons filled with spinach and spices and Pad Kee Mow. It was all excellent. I wish Milwaukee would up their Thai game to this level. And, while I was enjoying my meal, Anna came over to the table and asked how I was enjoying it. This is my favorite thing an owner can do, interact with the customers. She told me she shops every morning and makes sure everything is fresh. What a world of difference. I can't wait to be back in Chicago and try other dishes here. A real gem. The hallmark of a great place is when you keep eating because everything is so delicious, even though you are stuffed.

Yelp
Wow! What a trip! Anna's Thai Kitchen rocketed me across the planet and decades. The voluptuous flavors of her chicken khao soi satisfied me even better than my memories of bowls I enjoyed in Chiang Mai, Thailand. Even 5 stars doesn't do justice to the khao soi recently added to Anna's menu! I first tasted this coconut curry noodle soup while visiting Northern Thailand, and I must try it whenever it appears on menus in the US. At Anna's Thai Kitchen, a tender chicken leg joins rich coconut curry broth, contrasted with slivers of crunchy onion and lemongrass(?), and two kinds of noodles. Remarkably, Anna recaptures the flavorfulness of chicken that I recognize from 21st century Thailand & Vietnam, as well as the US before its bicentennial. Softer rice noodles bathe in broth while crispy egg noodles retain crunch and lightness standing up at the bowl's edge. As with great ramen broth, the layered heat of curry spice unites this flavor bomb! Anna herself warmly greeted our table to hear our thoughts. What I didn't get to share in person: her restaurant re-opened my eyes to the possibilities of Thai cuisine in the US. For me, the last such chef was Pam Panyasiri. In Hell's Kitchen, Pam's Real Thai exploded New Yorkers' taste buds for almost 20 years before the pandemic forced closing its two locations. While many other restaurants serve competent Thai cooking, they struggle to reflect the best Thailand can offer us -- reflecting the remarkably low prices most diners take for granted. A meal at Anna's Thai Kitchen may cost a few more dollars, but patrons also enjoy elbow room with comfortably spaced tables that help one relax and savor deliciousness. How wonderful to book a table at Anna's and savor time travel to Chiang Mai and New York City!

Kerry J.

Yelp
Anna's Thai Kitchen is an absolute gem! I joined a friend for dinner and we were delighted with everything we ordered- including the crab cake appetizer and drunken noodles. The Betel leaf herb wrap is an absolute must-have. I have never seen it on another menu, and the flavor was beyond delicious. In addition the service was fantastic (thank you, Charlie and Catherine!). I had the good fortune to speak with Anna (the owner) and it clear this is her passion and calling. Run- don't walk!- to Anna's Kitchen! PS- BYOB!!

Yelp
I finally got opportunity to try this Thai restaurant on Chicago eats on tv and it's close to where I work at.I hope it's better a Thai restaurant on Kedzie called Arun which was supposed to be a bougie version of Thai cuisine. Anyways I was surprised on the spicyness and fresh of the chicken red curry. Note mild is quite spicy and then when you order the spicy it's really spicy like how they do it in Thailand they don't try to cater the spiciness like most Thai restaurants do back in America. I was going to order satay but was trying to still keep it light and not have a heavy dinner I ordered this one fresh vegetable dish with peanuts and some leaves that she grew in her restaurant since it's expensive to distribute or order those leaves from Florida. Ambiance is a mix of traditional and modern dining in but is a definite must to come here. She also has one Northern thai dish with beef and the sticky rice which is close to Laotian cuisine next to Thai version of pho I need to try. It was my first time and I usually just stick with the traditional thai dishes first when I try another Thai restaurant to see if their traditional foods are up to par with quality and taste. The Thai custard disguise as creme brulee was sweet and delicious

Yelp
Pros - Clean - Friendly servers - Great grilled chicken. Flavorful and moist. All dark meat Cons - Flavor profiles are too sweet and slightly off balance. Papaya salad and cucumber salad too sweet - Iced coffee is flat. Not very robust tasting - Noodle dishes are AWFUL. NOT authentic. Pad thai tastes like ketchup; it's very sweet, wet, and slightly sour!! Beef for pad see ewe is dry and not tender - While bathrooms are clean, they only have 1 available per gender, so there's a line if you go during busy hours - $0.50 charge PER takeout box. Better off leaving the noodle dishes behind Conclusions - ORDER: grilled meats - AVOID: any noodle dishes - This is a neighborhood joint for the non-Asian pallet - 3* because their grilled chicken is great + server is nice

Yelp
I was going to say 4 stars/good, but thinking about it, I realized that I have absolutely no complaints about our Friday night experience at Anna's Thai Kitchen. First impressions - this is a beautiful restaurant. It's elegant and clean without being over the top. Definitely it qualifies as a date night place, but it's also great for a couple of friendly co-workers ( that's me and J. to have a pleasant visit over a good dinner. J. had a Thai iced coffee, which she enjoyed very much. I'm vegan and caffeine-free (yes, I do still find food and drink enough to sustain life), so I stuck with water. We shared an order of veggie egg rolls which were very good. Three to an order. J. had the pad-see-iew made vegetarian. That was our first indicator that the portions are large! She really liked it, and actually ate the whole thing. I had the cashew nuts over rice, made vegan. Medium spicy. It was just spicy enough to make my nose run a little. I enjoyed this dish. If I had any complaint, it would be that there was a lot of sauce, maybe a tad too much. However, when I ate my leftovers the next day, I was wishing for more sauce, so there you go. The waitress was very helpful and prompt, and especially good at explaining the spiciness/heat levels. I was particularly amused when she said there's mild, medium, American hot, and Thai hot. Totally appropriate. Prices are average for a Thai restaurant in the area. Anna's Thai Kitchen was a good experience. As I'm typing this, I'm thinking, maybe now would be a good time to go there and try the Pad Thai. Yes, I'm ready to go back.

annie g.

Yelp
DON'T ORDER TAKE OUT!!! I was told it would be 45 minutes for my take out order. I showed up an hour later and they told it would be another 20 - 25 minutes. Unacceptable! If it's going to take that long to prepare - THEN TELL ME UP FRONT and let me decide if I want to wait at my house to pick up food - not when I have dogs and a child in the car. They were clearly prioritizing their in person diners. Totally unreliable!

Yelp
I've eaten my fair share of Thai cuisine and my general impression is, never bad, rarely exceptional. Well it looks like in this case I'm going just have to jump on the 5 star bandwagon with everyone else! Why you say? Well basically it's because of BTS! That's right, not because they are rocking a play list of your favorite boy band, but rather because the Kitchen team gets how to " balance the spices " or what I'll also call balancing the complexity, key word balance. There is a lot going on in That cuisine, but when you balance the sweet, sour, salty, bitter and savory elements of the dish to deliver that umami mouth "boom" ...well there you go! Throw some different levels of spicy heat on that umami blast, which they shamelessly do (after warning you in advance that they are serious about their heat) and you be eaten some mighty delicious grub. Add all that to a charming space with big windows, spread out tables, BYOB and a genuinely nice and competent server Team and you've got a genuine neighborhood gem. I believe they are just celebrating their one year anniversary so go show them some love!
google avatar

Sam C.

Yelp
It was pretty bad. The curry was really watery and tasted artificially spicy. Everything about it tasted off. When asked about how watery the curry was. I was told that's the traditional way. Which is just not true. So dishonesty to customers which I don't take lightly. The pad Thai was bland and the noodles too soft and had horrible texture. The worst part was how expensive it was for how mediocre the food was. Do not recommend unless you enjoy bland versions of authentic Thai food.
google avatar

Jasmine P.

Yelp
The best Thai food in Chicago. Asian / Woman owned family business. Will forever be my go to Thai place. All food is made to order, fresh, and when I ask for spice it's actually spicy. Anna always checks in at the end of my meal to ask how it was. Love it here!

Lauren R.

Yelp
Best Tom Kha soup I've ever had! Got it with tofu (was at least vegetarian, possibly vegan) and that had such a great texture as well. It's been like 2hrs and I can already tell I'm going to crave that soup daily lol

Yelp
We randomly found Anna"s Thai Kitchen looking for a BYOB on our way to a concert near by. I could not have been happier in this discovery. The ambiance was perfect for a date night. Everything we ordered was delicious! Definitely will be coming back in the future to try more of the menu. I highly recommend this for eat in or take out.

Yelp
I've been here twice. The first time was right after they opened and I didn't love my food and while I found the staff to be friendly, I did feel rushed out. Chalked that experience up to being newly opened and it was somewhat near closing time so I cut them some slack. Fast forward to the second experience. I ordered Pad Thai and Crying Tiger Salad. Those two dishes alone totaled over $40 with tax, tip, etc. It was a bit of sticker shock, but again, giving them the benefit of the doubt that inflation and quality ingredients demand higher prices. Pad Thai was nothing special and the beef in the Crying Tiger salad was absolutely inedible. Flavor was great as I sucked the sauce from the fatty, chewy gristle but since I wasn't able to actually chew or swallow it, I just spit it back into my napkin. What a shame and what a waste and I've now learned my lesson. It only requires two strikes for me to move on.

Mariah R.

Yelp
This restaurant is simply amazing! The food is delectable and the atmosphere is charming. The service is exceptional! I had the drunken noodles and they were the best I've ever had. I've had a lot of Thai food, but this place is off the charts! They must visit.

Yelp

Yelp
Amazing food and service and cozy environment Everything was delicious and be coming back!

Yelp
I've tried a few dishes, but got absolutely hooked on the thai spiced pork over rice. This is my favorite thai restaurant in Chicago, which is really saying something. The staff is friendly, the drinks are creative, and the food is insanely good.

Yelp
Yum! I ordered the pad ke mao with beef lunch special and a Tom kha soup with tofu. Everything was flavorful, the beef was quality and not chewy or gamey. I noticed also the mushrooms in the soup were fresh (many places use canned). The waitress (wish I caught her name, 20-something brunette) was welcoming and had a pleasant vibe about her. The women's bathroom was clean and so was the rest of the restaurant. Leads me to believe they are a business that likes to keep their kitchen clean as well!

Yelp
Excellent! The crab ragoon was large with cheese and crab mix. The ragoon sauce was light and good. We had the salmon Cho chee which was spicy, no vegetables, the salmon skin crispy and the rice was good. The tofu pad this was excellent and you can order the heat. The mango sticky rice was fantastic.

Yelp
MUST TRY - Amazing food! I have a gluten allergy and the owner confirmed GF options. All the food was so fresh and tasty. Real ingredients. Best Thai food I have ever eaten!! We ordered - crab Rangoon, thai fried rice with chicken, pad see-iew with chicken, Thai crying steak. While I could not eat all b/c GF It all looked so great. There was so much left over but oddly no grease in bowls when we transferred to take home boxes. The owner Anna was so nice and so great to see small business owners succeeding. Check this place out!!!

Yelp
I'm extremely picky about Thai food. So many places here in Chicago definitely put a midwestern spin on their dishes and I've been frustrated again and again.... Until I came to Anna's. First of all, as a disabled person, the restaurant is set up very accessible for people of all abilities. It's sparkling clean inside, elegantly decorated (perfect for a first date!) and the servers are wonderful. The real attraction is the FOOD, of course! Everything we ordered was so far beyond our expectations! I loved the crab curry, it's was so dramatically served but the flavor had some warm heat to it and lots of real crab! The rangoons..., I never want any other Rangoons in my life! And my friend ordered the crying tiger and said it was the best she had ever had! I think Anna's made her love Thai food for the first time! Please support this hidden gem on your next night out, you won't be disappointed!

Yelp
Happy to hear that Anna's Thai Kitchen served halal meat. Very rare to find in Chicago. The service and ambiance were good. Recommendations: Crying Tiger was cooked well with a delicious sauce. The only disappointment was the dish came out cold. Lime chicken was flavorful fried chicken with an. amazing sauce. Do not recommend: Butterfly P summer drink. Coconut water Beef Pho soup. If the Crying Tiger came out hot, I probably would have given the place a 4 out of 5 stars. Anna the owner came out a greeted the diners which was a nice touch. Will be back to give them another chance. Wishing them the best of luck.

Yelp
The best way to spice up Friday is with authentic Thai cuisine from Anna's Thai Kitchen!

Yelp
This hidden gem in Ravenswood is one of the best spots in town. My girlfriend and I have had just about everything on their menu over the past 2 years and we have never been disappointed. Great ambiance and service, well worth the price! If you're lucky, Anna will come out and talk to your table and she's such an amazing chef, you can really tell how much the food means to her.

Yelp
Very good food, Friendly but a bit slow service. Genuinely spicy compared to many competitors. Ambiance is nothing special but pleasant enough. BYOB is a plus. Would absolutely return.

Yelp
Anna's Thai Kitchen is a gem. I need to branch out and order something besides basil stir fry with chicken, but it's so good that I keep ordering it every time. It's clear that your meal is prepared fresh after you order. Anna herself is almost always on the premises and comes out from the kitchen to talk. She and her wait staff (whom I believe are her children) are terrific.
