It was the best breakfast I’ve had in a long time. Every plate was unique, thoughtfully prepared, and incredibly delicious. The dishes were top-tier, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was beautiful. I’ll definitely be back on my next visit!

Best breakfast we had in Berlin. The granola was OK, the pancakes were great, and the scrambled eggs were incredible. Perfectly fluffy and creamy and slightly smoked. We came at 9:15 and could walk straight in, but when we left an hour later there was quite the queue on a Sunday. Coffee was a little mediocre, service was friendly and helpful

Pancakes, and breakfast sandwiches to die for! Food is top tier and service is even better. Greeted with the biggest smiles and warmest welcome, felt so nice. The vibe was great, coffee very carefully crafted and served, food cooked and served with love! Loved every second of the experience. If you love pancakes, and fluffy ones to be exact, and just the right mix of sweet and salty, this is no doubt a must try place for you!

the food at annelies is very aesthetically pleasing and literally works of art, and it’s a quality place for interesting twists on classic breakfast/brunch food, but i will say it’s a bit pricey for the amount you get. the buttermilk pancakes were stacked high and each one was thick and soft and a bit warm. i absolutely LOVED the combination of cold, fresh cultured cream — which had a smooth, bright dairy flavour — and the thick slice of rich, velvety butter. the slightly sour yet sweet berry compote and the earthy nuttiness of the crunchy granola also added a fantastic touch. the syrup was sweet and sticky, but quite normal. the sausage breakfast sandwich is very .. american tasting??? the egg was super soft, and the pancake was a nice touch because it added a bit of sweetness, but i think the savouriness of the (very thick and juicy!!!!) sausage and the large slice of american cheese made it a little bit too salty. the spicy mayo was sharper in flavour and a bit tangy, but it was also quite salty. it was also quite difficult to eat because of how high it was stacked. i really enjoyed the scrambled egg on toast though — the egg was super silky and the sourdough was crispy on the outside yet super soft on the inside ?!?!? the tangy red sauce on the side was also quite the unique pairing and i liked the little kick it provided.

A spot full of contrasts, like Berlin itself. A very modest, almost empty like venue hides good coffee, excellent deserts and absolutely wonderful pancakes (sweet and savoury ). I’ll take a moment to complement the perfectly nailed balance of the savoury pancake/burger: perfect meat, perfect sauce, very tasty. The service was nice, but our waiter was a bit forgetful. That is fine, what was not fine is how cold it was inside. They should definitely invest in some heaters. Hard to say, if it’s a choice to save on energy bills, because it’s an old building or if owners do not care enough. Additionally, the venue is quite small - it may be difficult to find a spot for more than 4 people. You should still visit - food will not disappoint. Just watch out for the weather.

Found this place because of Google reviews about the buttermilk pancakes and it didn't disappoint. We ate here on a Sunday morning, the place is cosy, quiet, a little bit breezy for winter. The staff are professional, kind, organized and reminded me of diverse characters from a video game gallary 😅 The food was delicious, plenty, and definitely the best breakfast specials we have had ever! The ginger lemon tee is lecker too, the coffee could be more hotter so as to retain some warmth while we dig through the breakfast. It cost four of us with 2 drinks each 97€. Thank you!

As someone from New York I was BLOWN away from the quality of a German BEC I also was blown away at the cheeses egg in a piece of toast. This place deserves more than 5 stars when it comes to the quality and taste of food. The service was a little slow but it's normal for Europeon timing. It was a cute small place but the food was a huge pop.

If you're gonna get one thing from here, it must be the pancakes. Honestly, they were the best pancakes I have ever had. Crunchy on the outside, but super moist on the inside. The cream on top was chef's kiss. I'm telling ya'll, they were really, really good. The egg sandwich was massive, but good as well. Service was nice as well. Honestly, no complaints. Definitely one of the best brunch spots on my list so far.

My favorite brunch in Berlin so far, I still think about those pancakes, and debate going back every weekend. There's nothing like 'em. The scrambled eggs are super tasty too, pretty much can't go wrong. Worth whatever the wait is!

The star of this place is the pancakes, coffee, and the wide variety of juices. The brunch cafe is super chill and the outdoor spacing is nicely spread out. Be careful of the bees that are all over Germany during the summer and you'll have a very nice meal here.

Service was a little unattentive and weird, and it took forever for the food to arrive; 45 minutes for a batch of pancakes?! Tasted good though. All in all probably a little bit overrated with equally good places in the vicinity.
