"On the redeveloped industrial site of the Angus Shops, Annette is chef Marc-Antoine Jetté's second establishment. Opened in 2023, it stands right opposite his first restaurant, Hoogan & Beaufort. People come here, of course, for Hugo Duchesne's brilliant wine list, which includes both great vintages and accessible novelties, plus a wide selection by the glass. Food is served in this modern glass building with an open kitchen overlooking the contemporary space. The seasonal dishes served are far more than mere accompaniments. Generous and precise, they are designed for sharing, tapas-style: mussels in escabèche sauce, bavette steak with maitake mushrooms, pork ribs on the bone, and crispy-soft rice pudding croquettes." - Michelin Inspector

We discovered an exceptional restaurant this summer, and it left us thoroughly impressed! The service was impeccable, with our server being particularly outstanding. They made us feel truly special throughout our dining experience. The cuisine was exquisite, and we adored the ambiance. We initially dined on the terrace, but when it began to rain, the staff graciously accommodated us inside. Here's a brief overview of our experience: • Exceptional service: Attentive and personalized • Outstanding food quality • Lovely ambiance: Both outdoor and indoor seating options • Adaptable staff: Quick to respond to changing weather conditions Overall, it was a memorable dining experience that we would highly recommend.

Fantastic service, they let us bring the dog to the patio and it was a lovely meal outside. We had the set course and the staff were lovely to chat with and we had a great meal. The food was delicious, with fresh, in season ingredients. They also had great wine suggestions to pair!

Great selection of wine/cocktails. Serving French dishes with modern twist. Serving size is relatively small, perfect to share for two people. Good service. Nice atmosphere.

Delicous! Weird location, but great space. Great food. Great 0% cocktails and beer. Will come back. Best Panna Cotta I've ever had in my life!

Very nice cozy space in the Angus Shop area. Let's start with the wine selection. They have a nice wine list with a lot of private imports. The food is more tapas style. The menu is small, but everything is well prepared. The service is friendly. The staff is attentive to your needs and will never let you have an empty glass (which is a +++ on happy hours!). The sommelier is knowledgeable and will have great recommendations to pair with your snacks. Overall, this is a beautiful place for a chill upscaled happy hour or night out. The vibe and decor makes it very welcoming!

First of all I love a restaurant that has a ‘seasonal’ menu. It means the menu changes and you can go back over and over and they’d be new surprises and classics that don’t change. Okay let’s dive in… the best gimlet I’ve ever head!!! Made everyone try it and they loved and ordered it. Yesss the grinch drink. Now, I love oysters & these were good and meaty! Excuse me but I don’t remember the name of the cured beef, served carpaccio style with sweet radish for garnish, that was soo well balanced and delicious. There was the gravlax, I’ll try any gravlax on any menu especially here. Then I told everyone the scallops are melt on your mouth good but they came out differently presented, was worried but they were once again a home run. The potatoes served with the scallops were crisp this time compared to almost same texture as scallops last time & I just love the dehydrated beets for garnish. Food is about flavours, textures & the chef gets it!!! The fried mushrooms were a great accompaniment for the oysters- think fries sub. The best veal served always with a silky purée(carrot/parsnip this time around). It was excellent but could never be like the first time I had it tho. The beef was perfectly cooked. Everything was delicious and amazing. I was a lil disappointed with the dessert, first time having their donuts with apple sauce, could have honestly skipped that. The Paris Brest was good but I preferred the vanilla version( I was blown away last time) and it felt smaller. The beauty of an evolving menu… you win some & you lose some. All in all, great experience, great food, great ambiance… oooh forgot to mention, they have a live DJ!

Would I recommend this place? Yes. Would I rush to come back? No. The food here was very good! Tasty and well executed though we thought some fine details could elevate the dishes further. But overall, the service and vibe was nice. If someone asked me if they should try it, I’d say: yes, absolutely. That said, we didn’t feel like there was anything overly innovative or memorable that would make us really excited about coming back.

Yelp
Excellent services
