"This pair – she is from Ile de Ré, he hails from Bristol – met in a restaurant in Amsterdam and went on to open this modern bistro in La Rochelle. The space comprises pale wood tables and furniture, a glassed-in kitchen at the back, a zellige-tiled wall and a small terrace overlooking a pedestrian street. They propose French cuisine that is packed with freshness and flavour! The chef shows he has technique and talent, eg with his wild sea bass, white wine sauce, cockles, broccoli purée and lightly grilled green cabbage. As for dessert, Audrey delights diners with her "gâteau au chocolat d'Annette" (her grandmother's recipe), served with chestnut cream ice cream – potent and delicious." - Michelin Inspector

We were blown away by this recently opened restaurant. We ordered three different starters and main courses and every dish was superb. The menu is so well constructed and everything from the ambience to the cocktails hits the spot. The service, too, was impeccable. We’ll be back for the July menu soon.

If ever in La Rochelle, book the table to dine in! Absolute must visit to experience high quality french cuisine with flavourful dishes to taste! The fish dish with fennel cooked two ways was unbelievably good! Explosion of flavour, pickled fennel with mint, dill and roasted hazelnuts are complimented with juicy grilled fish, roasted soft smoky fennel and sweet caramelised orange marmalade, every bite of that dish was divine. Panna cotta with rhubarb and raspberry compote plus gin granita was the best desert i’ve ever eaten! Soft wobbly vanilla panna cotta with perfect texture that just melts in your mouth complimented with sour rhubarb compote, sweet fresh raspberries and herbal gin granita topped with micro shiso herbs that add liquorice lemony flavour. Just wow! The taste explosion and experience i will cherish for many years to come. Thank you Annette and chefs for the great food <3

The host was very friendly and helpful (my wife is a bit disabled). The food was excellent, the wine recommendation fitted perfectly with the dinner. In summary we have enjoyed the whole evening and we will come back for sure
