"This attractive neighbourhood restaurant, located along a tranquil tree-lined street away from the busy tourist heart of the city, boasts an everyday, informal ambience, along with a simple pavement terrace and striking touches of color in the dining room, with its open kitchen. It’s mainly local clientele flock here to enjoy dishes from the concise à la carte that are an updated take on Greek recipes and based around fresh, seasonal and locally sourced ingredients that showcase the country’s cuisine to the full." - Michelin Inspector

The MICHELIN Guide Athens 2021 Is Out!

"Homely and colourfully decorated, this neighbourhood restaurant spills out into the tree-lined street; cooking celebrates the country’s produce, with natural flavours and a distinct balance of sweet and sour shining through." - The MICHELIN Guide UK Editorial Team

I came here twice and they were the best two meals I have had during my time in the city. I tried several other places: low-key, inexpensive neighborhood restaurants, then a couple of seafood restaurants, all of which were quite good, but not as tasty and creative as Annie. The eggplant-tomato salad was my favorite and then the sliced, raw fish in a creamy, tangy sauce was also excellent. The marinated octopus was a burst of flavors, like all the other dishes. I am certain that the items that I did not get to try on their frequently changing menu are as good. This is not a pretentious place. Locals, neighbors and visitors come here to share meals (the food is really meant to be shared, so ideally you come with at least one other person). The star of each plate are the ingredients. Sourced locally or from nearby regions, very fresh, full of flavors, beautifully seasoned and for what you get at very fair prices. The wines are also very good. All in all, a place you should absolutely visit when you are in Athens. Their service was very attentive, warm, knowledgeable. And they have great music playing in the background…

Annie Fine Cooking has personality and charm. The food is genuinely good — especially the horta with sweet potatoes, which was excellent. The pasta with meat was tasty as well, though the portion of meat could be slightly larger to better match the price. The dessert is not to be missed!! Overall, very good service and a pleasant experience. I would happily visit again.

Each dish here is so colourful and delicious! The experience of the Staff with the place and the wines is amazing. And they are also very friendly. The menu changes by the freshness of the food each time, so what you see in the pictures it’s most probably not the dishes that you’ll see when you go. Most try it when you’re around.

What a hidden gem. I don't think I have ever had a more unique and enjoyable meal experience. The entire menu uses locally sourced ingredients to make very unique and outstanding dishes. The saltwort salad we had was the most interesting thing I have eaten in years. The raw amberjack (fish) was unbelievably tasty and melted in the mouth. The saganaki (cheese) pasta with figs was outrageously good. Every dish was very different, easily stood on its own and honestly I wish I could have tried even more. We actually ordered too much just because we were curious to try as much as possible. But everything was so delicious that we finished it all - the walk to the metro was a slow one! It wasn't that expensive either - we had way too much food between two of us and spent 100 euros with two beers. Had we been a bit more conservative and ordered one dish less, we'd have spent 40 euros per person which in my opinion is incredible value for what I'd say was quite close to a Michelin star worthy fine dining experience. Another thing to add - I was genuinely curious as to how this place has 4.4 stars (seemed low) so I looked at all the one star reviews and they almost all seem to be from 2 or more years ago. I wouldn't be surprised if they have changed chef since then because this is the easiest 5/5 I will possibly ever give.

We loved the food so much I promised I'd leave a review, so here I am sat at the airport waiting for my return flight and dping just that. Annie's cooking was my first contact with greek cuisine and what an introduction it was! I discovered tastes and textures I had never experienced. It was tasty, colourful and well presented. The freshness of the ingredients and their quality popped at every mouthful. Thank you Annie for this delightful experience. Cheers from sunny Morocco 🇲🇦

One of our favourite meals in Athens. Highly recommend. We went on a Tuesday night and did not have a reservation but was seated immediately. (All outdoor seating- very comfortable seats) Elevated food with very good flavour balance. The menu is different everyday, we wish we had come here earlier during our stay to try the changing menu! The waitress was very nice and offered the option for tap water which was nice as we have been buying several bottles of water at every restaurant.

I usually never leave any reviews for a restaurant but Annie - Fine Cooking really deserves a much higher rating here. The ingredients are incredibly fresh which we have never experienced the same in other restaurants we tried in Greece. The food combination really blows our mind that you could never imagine how different ingredients could mix and match together so so well. I can confidently say that most of the high end restaurants are not up to this standard. We have missed the food here every day when we were in other places in Greece and we are just so disappointed that we couldn’t make our third visit to this restaurant before our trip ends because the restaurant closes on Sunday. (CRY) We will definitely miss the food here!

What an amazing experience, the staff is extremely nice and informative, the place is very cute, but what will really get you is the incredible food! Some of the best I've had. When I'll be back in Athen I'll be back here.
