What a find! We stumbled across Annie Jones to be greeted with a smile, very friendly staff, and the most impressive courtyard with grape vines overhanging the tables. A bright and airy, classy setting. We sat down to a 5 plate, tapas style lunch with plenty of choice from the menu. Each dish was presented beautifully, which came to our table gradually. An excellent experience and already planning the next visit.

Have been to Annie’s now several times since moving to the area and I cannot fault a thing! The restaurant and food are always great, Sunday lunch is wonderful, beef is definitely the best! But I love this place for the cocktail bar, the ambience, and the staff are fantastic. Maddie, Zach, Alex - always so friendly and welcoming. Plus they make a mean drink! The owner Dom should be so proud of his establishment and the people who work there! Thanks for many great visits!

What a lovely restaurant. I came here with my friends for their wedding breakfast. We were welcomed with a drink on the house. The atmosphere and decor were beautiful and the staff were very attentive. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Wow, what a great place to visit for a romantic evening or out with family or friends. Beautiful surroundings and great service from the staff with a good menu that executed to perfection. Local produce and presented perfectly. Great cocktails too. We thoroughly enjoyed it all. The food was so tasty. We totally loved it here and they have a cocktail bar which we intend to go back to with friends very soon. The moules were so tasty and the beef and venison was incredible. Thank you and see you again very soon ☺️

Some of the best food I have eaten in a restaurant in a VERY LONG TIME. Not even joking, the food was insanely good. The pork was to die for and their carrot salad was just perfect. The beef and chiichuri was delicious and to be honest literally every single dish was the best it could be. The staff made us feel so welcome and were incrediblely friendly and the place just really had a fantastic atmosphere. I actually can't wait to come back to Petersfield and eat here again. Didn't get to try dessert as we were so full!!

Visited on a date night with my partner. Atmosphere was nice, it was a Saturday night so it was nicely busy with a buzz. Food was decent, although the cured ham portion on the Iberico ham and manchego board was abysmal; stringy and an entirely disproportionate amount to the cheese. We ordered food which arrived in a timely manner. The gentleman with glasses (we didn’t get his name) was excellent, he was friendly, asked us how our food was and seemed genuinely interested and willing to give the service you would want from an establishment. Unfortunately some of the other staff seemed either untrained or not overly bothered about providing good service (as well as appearing not overly friendly!) as we had a staff member try and clear our plates twice with half of the food quite clearly still on there so we did feel rushed which was a shame. Seating was a little cramped as it felt as though three tables had been squeezed next to each other against the back wall to accommodate extra customers and therefore money, however this did lead to it feeling too close to other customers. In all honestly we won’t be rushing back but we had a nice evening overall

Very underwhelming. Had been looking forward to trying out this french restaurant after seeing such great reviews. Ended up leaving after mains as had tried enough of the fare. Initial booking was good, person at the end of phone was enthusiastic and welcoming. Upon arrival, we were put on a table near the thoroughfare to the toilets. The table itself was on a slope and the actual wood on the table had a ridge, so everything remotely liquid slipped to the side. When booking was told they had a very special table..... It sure was! The atmosphere was ok, not really a french bistro though. We both ordered wild garlic, chili butter and king prawns for starters. Dish was very very dry, nothing to dip the bread in so asked for butter. Extremely small 'prawns'... I would call them shrimp. Measly portion for £10. We did ask what happened to the King Prawns as these were shrimp, only to be told that what was on our plate was indeed King Prawns but they were peeled King Prawns....... That's why we may be confused. Smallest ever King Prawns I have seen therefore. Whatever they were, they were overcooked. Mains - I had lamb rump with sautéed new potatoes, it was ok, nothing special. Lamb was a bit tough and the new potatoes weren't remotely sautéed, jus was also bland. Husband had the salmon. He said it was nice but again, pale new potatoes that didn't appear to have seen the inside of the sauté pan. By this point, we decided not to have desserts and headed off elsewhere to continue our evening Best thing about the whole experience was the nice bottle of Sancerre. Overall, food just wasn't up to a decent standard but the service was good thanks to the delightful Zack. Won't be rushing back unfortunately.

We visited here as a family which included my nan who has reduced mobility. It was accessible for her to get in, the ground was a little uneven at the entrance but plenty of room inside and the toilets were easily accessible for her. The atmosphere was relaxed but it was lunchtime. Have previously visited for coffee and cake and it was equally as comfortable. You can eat inside or outside or in-between, there is a beautiful Koi pond and some grape vines covering the roof. As a parent I wouldn't want to take young children, I think from 10-11yrs up if they are well behaved. Not to come to the food...Sooo good. Having a small appetite I am particularly partial to tapas but this tapas was very nice with lots of flavour. The menu wasn't huge but I think there would be something for everyone. I would recommend the octopus or the mussels, I particularly liked the goats curd and truffle honey. I would allow £12-15 per head so not unreasonably priced.
