Local Langley couple here and have been wanting to try Annora for a while now! Tried it for the first time on a Thursday night and was absolutely blown away. This is the type of restaurant you usually have to travel to Vancouver for, so it’s great to know there’s something this quality so close to us. We started with the beet and goat cheese salad and the risotto with scallion and mushrooms. Both dishes were outstanding and very well priced for the quality and size. Either of these starters could be shared as a small bite or a fairly good size personal starter. For our entrees my fiancée had their bison bourguignon and I had the special which was long cod, scallops, bernaise and whipped potatoes and veg. Both dishes again were highlights and rivalled Michelin dishes we have had in Whistler and Vancouver. Desert absolutely knocked me out of my seat as well with easily the best strawberry cheesecake I’ve ever had. My fiancée doesn’t do great with dairy and our amazing server Courtenay was so attentive and patient with helping us find the best dishes, she had a lovely goat milk lemon curd ice cream with fresh raspberries. Courtenay appeared to have the whole restaurant (not huge) but still maybe 18 people at 8 or so tables and she didn’t miss a beat. The food was outstanding, Courtenay was outstanding and it’s a nice intimate venue with the Covid dividers still up, though it really works well in the smaller environment and allows for a nice dining experience. We were right by the window and the groups didn’t stop piling in showing how popular this place is. We were super happy to get a quick reservation with the excellent help of Seth on the phone. We had no problem tipping Courtney 25% and supporting this keeper of a local gem of a restaurant. We will be passing on the word to all our local foodie friends to run and book their next outing here. Though we’re probably not gonna tell too many people cause this place is just that good LOL

Chef/owner came over personally to see how we were doing. The menu is upscale and diverse. Food was delicious. Great wine selection. Definitely a date night place. Lunch menu looks amazing very pasta forward. Definitely trying that next.

Our favourite Langley restaurant! Chef Aaron is a skilled creator of fine food from local ingredients at reasonable prices. His personal touch makes this place really special. He has been able to suggest and even modify dishes to adapt to dietary needs on the few occasions we have needed them. The restaurant is small and well-known, which makes reservations a must. His caramelized carrot soup is excellent: smooth, flavourful and beautifully presented! We only regret that we didn't discover this place sooner!

Annora stands out as a hidden gem offering exquisite West Coast cuisine that rivals the best dining spots the lower mainland. Our family enjoyed the carefully curated and beautifully plated prix fix menu. We also enjoyed the intimate and relaxed dining experience. Can't wait to go back!

We tried them for the fork an finger event in Langley. They gave us the gnocchi with truffle. I understand that it was $5 for the meal but they gave us a small dish with less than a third in there. I tried it and it tastes like feet. To make matters worse, a few minutes after eating it, I started to have an allergic reaction to shellfish (one that caused me to have tighness in the chest and difficulty). When my family called the restaurant, the gentleman who answered the phone did not seem to care at all and did not answer their questions. Fortunately I did not die but there definitely was a cross-contamination with my food at this restaurant. This is one of the worst experiences I have had from eating three bites of a dish at a restaurant. Do not go here if you have any health concerns.

Really enjoyed our dinner here tonight. Tried a large variety of dishes and pretty much everything was very tasty and felt fresh & healthy. I think the perogies were my favorite. The portions are quite small but the prices weren't exorbitant, so don't hesitate to order a bunch of different things to try.

The Best Meal and restaurant experience we’ve had in years! 5 Star quality food, service and Ambiance! It was our 32nd wedding anniversary and we were lovely greeted by a hostess and seated to our reserved table with a mention of our anniversary and congratulations. Our server, Courtney, was beautiful, well spoken, kind and attentive. We went with the three course meal menu, which is an incredible value for what you get! Appetizers of scallops and truffle mushroom & goat cheese salad, with some bread, and to Die for caramelized butter! We both had the duck entree, which was amazing! The chef, Aaron, came out to greet us and congratulate us before our incredible dessert of lemon cheesecake and chocolate mousse that came along with complementary port as an anniversary gift. We will be back many times, and cannot highly recommend this restaurant enough! Well done, Mr. Turkstra and staff!

Google
A frankly unprepossessing venue concealing a delightful restaurant. This is not what good restaurants look like in the UK. But don’t judge a book by its cover - the food on the imaginative menu is expertly prepared and well presented. From the outside we thought we had the wrong place, having been sent on a magical mystery tour as a result of roadworks, but inside there was a bubbly atmosphere. We were pleased we had booked ahead, as every table seemed to be reserved. The chef clearly has a good reputation, and quite rightly so; his skill was evident in every dish. Service was friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. I have no hesitation in recommending.

Yelp
This place definitely serves the best food in all of Surrey and Langley. The service, quality and presentation is just great, rivelling and better than some Michelin starred restaurants. The one issue is that the wine list is terrible for the quality of the food. Wines like Burrowing Owl or Bells Glos would be far better than these so called BC premium wines. Also a better sound selection would improve the ambiance. Have already made my reservation for next month! This restaurant should move to South Surrey where it would be much better appreciated! People still come in wearing ball caps like some side alley pub or Earls or Cactus Club. This plac e is far better than that!

Yelp
Outstanding. We waited several weeks for a Saturday dinner reservation and made the trip all the way from Vancouver for it, and it was well worth it. The food is beautifully presented and tasty. The focus on flavour is obvious. We had three starters: scallops, crab cakes, and the beet salad. All had accompanying flavours that were layered and that didn't over power the dish's focus ingredient. For mains we had the pork chop and a beef duo of short rib and tenderloin. Both were served atop vegetables and mashed potatoes. The pork chop had a delightful quince demi-glacé that was pleasing and a marvellous complement to the pork which was perfectly seared. The beef duo was terrific. And both were perfect, absolutely perfect in preparation and taste. It's a small room but it was warm and airy. They still have dividers up which was reassuring but not obtrusive. And the service was terrific. A young man, the owner's son seated us and brought us water efficiently and professionally. And our waitress was great; she remembered our order and we were looked after so well. Highly recommended.

Yelp
My friends and I had such a lovely dinner at Annora. I don't venture out to Langley often but glad to have tried this French restaurant. They had a 3 course prix fixe meal that was a great deal ($34). There were 3 choices for the appetizer, entree, and dessert. I decided to try their scallops for the appetizer, their duck entree, and the chocolate ganache dessert. They provide bread for the table before the starters, which was great because we ordered mussels for the table and the bread was great for dipping in the sauce. Everything was fresh and delicious and well portioned. I thought the duck was cooked perfectly and enjoyed the potato gratin that came with it. The scallops were nice and large, with chanterelle mushrooms in a creamy delicious sauce. Definitely worth a visit for some delicious French cuisine!

Yelp
Great prices for what you are getting (I have done both Happy hour and the prix fixe menus a few times). The food is always delicious; even my picky grandfather enjoyed all of the items he ordered. The location is small and the seats fill quickly, so a reservation is probably best.

Yelp
What a disappointment. The bar tender at Atlas steak recommended this place and while it is small and intimate the service was as good as a college cafeteria. What a shame. The food was ok at best but it was the service or lack there of that will never have me returning. Langley desperately needs a serious hi end establishment and sadly this is not it. Despite my anticipation. Atlas keep up the good work. I will be back

Yelp
Had an amazing dinner and experience at Annora in Langley. It's wonderful we can have such spectacular food in the Lower Mainland and we don't have to drive Downtown to get it. Dinner for 2 on a comfortable and spacious patio included the Rossdown Farms Chicken Breast (truffle mushroom, mashed potato, "all of oils" balsamic demi glace) and the Steak Dianne (beef tenderloin, roast mushroom, dijon peppercorn, gratin potato). Expertly crafted and seasoned, the chicken was moist and fresh. Simple flavours complimented the quality of the protein and overall dish. It was the perfect portion size as well. The steak was an ultra-tender filet and Chef Aaron does not skimp on portion size, this steak being bigger than most filets you'll find at chain restaurants and just as tender. The Peppercorn Demi was rich and enhanced the bold flavours of the entire dish. The potatoes were outstanding! Crispy on both the top and bottom and fork-tender in the middle. We opted out of mushrooms for this one and Chef had no problems accommodating our requests. When we asked our Server about making modifications we were pleased to hear it wouldn't be a problem and Chef can omit ingredients if we request. Knowing how some Chefs have big egos we were concerned our dietary restrictions could be scoffed at but Chef Aaron truly "gets it" when it comes to customer service. He even came to visit us (masked and socially-distanced of course) to check on the meal which is a great personal touch to service. For dessert we had a trio of passion fruit parfait, dark chocolate cheesecake and lemon cake. I recommend the lemon cake but my partner was all over the cheesecake! You decide. The service was attentive and not over-bearing. Our server knew the menu and was able to answer all of our questions expertly. The overall cost was perfect for a romantic dinner for two and we left feeling like we got spectacular value for our money. Without question we would recommend Annora for a nice night out away from the big, noisy restaurants further into town. https://www.annorarestaurant.com
