Five stars all the way across!!!! The food, drinks, waitstaff, and service was top notch!! Nike was our service and she had a wonderful personality and was very helpful with our selections. The food was amazing. I got the crab cakes for the Lenten special and they were fully loaded with lump crab meat and no filler!! Highly recommend!

Google
Absolutely phenomenal from start to finish!! There wasn't a bite we didn't like. Service was perfect, we ordered 3 apps and 3 entrées and drinks, Nyke our bartender and Mike was our server. They were outstanding people who delivered incredible food and drinks! What a vibe. 20/10 will eat here many many times again and I'll recommend family and friends.

We really enjoyed our dinner at Annunciation. With some very tasty dishes and great service, it was exactly what we wanted from our nice date night in New Orleans. The atmosphere is great, especially if you go a little earlier in the evening before it gets very busy. Would definitely recommend - we loved every dish, and the cocktails were awesome.

Google
This place is just perfect! We had a group of 11 and tried everything on the menu! I absolutely loved it all! The service was on point. Everyone know every single detail about the food, specials and desserts! They have a great selection of drinks as well. I recommend that you make a reservation because it’s not a big place and it does get busy! 🫕Appetizers: Always ask for the soup of the day! Fried Green Tomatoes and Fried oysters were all great! 🥩 Main: The Duck 🦆 dish and the Lamb 🐑 dish were my favorite! 🤩 Desserts: they have an award winning chocolate Truffle but I recommend their homemade cheesecake! Sooo good! Sorbets are great too!

Google
Awesome place for dinner. My wife and I celebrated our anniversary and they were very kind and attentive. The whole staff wished us a happy anniversary individually as well. The food was all excellent and we will definitely be coming back when we are in town.

Google
A lovely group dinner at Annunciation. The soft shell crab in the pasta dish with crawfish was bigger than my hand and delicious! It reminded me of the Beetlejuice dinner! Others who ordered the lamb chops said it was delicious. The special Cantaloupe prosciutto balsamic salad was delicious… it was much bigger than I imagined. Everyone was happy with their meal. Highly recommend this place for dinner!

Google
We had a meal with friends at Annunciation Restaurant and could not be more pleased. The decor in the restaurant is very nice, with several large paintings by local artists on the walls. The service is friendly and very attentive from the bar tenders to our table servers. The soft shell crab and garlic and egg plant soup were very good.

Google
The Roast Duck was soft, delicious, and well served. The Lemon Icebox Tart dessert was a fantastic treat (filling was like a sorbet). Waiters were very attentive and our server Phillip was friendly and great!! Definitely coming back again.

Yelp
A gem slightly out of the French Quarter's. Had a group of from out of town and lost cleanup on this local spot. A complimentary dish of hot bruschetta (I know) might have been the star of the evening. Light, fluffy French breasted with tomato slices , melted cheese and a medley mix of spices. Yum We had beautiful fish, oysters 3 ways and a delightful evening.service was rather slow but we had a large table and were in no hurry. I look forward to a return visit

Yelp
Excellent service on a busy weekend ! Our waiter Patrick was fantastic, very attentive and efficient. I loved the fresh pasta and didn't like the chicken at all. My husband liked his steak, and said it was ok.

Yelp
Loved the food here after getting off the beaten path of New Orleans. Enjoyed the Veal Annunciation which was thinly pressed veal along with plump shrimp and petite crawfish in a nice seasoned sauce over pasta. Flavors melded together perfectly. For an appetizer I tried their fried oysters, a small and easy eating local oyster over bed of spinach or greens. Quaint and quiet for a Sunday night and had a great time and meal. Josh was the bartender and was friendly and very personable. Well worth the visit when downtown near the convention center or traveling around Nola

Yelp
Cute intimate restaurant, good service but terribly salty food. One of the worst fancy meals of my life due to over-salting. I couldn't even eat and finish my salad or gumbo due to salt. Every single member of my 6 person party thought it was waaaawy too salty and couldn't finish their meal. If I were a braver person, I would have sent my food back. The gumbo- too salty. The shrimp salad: too salty and over-dressed/citrusy, inedible. I kid you not at one point I used water to wash off the shrimp, but even then it was too salty and I had to spit it out (must have been soaked in salt?) The most edible thing here was the bread and the chef's complimentary bruschetta they sent to the table.

Yelp
Recently visited NOLA for a conference and this place was close to the convention center. It was a short walk and they had reservations in their upstairs room for our large group. The bartender and servers were great! Very fun atmosphere and attentive to the group, meaning they noticed when people's drinks were getting low and quickly came to ask if we needed something else. We got a bunch of appetizers which everyone enjoyed. I took away 1/2 star because of the lack of dairy-free options. It's NOLA so it was difficult everywhere so I can't truly fault them. Nice decor. Close proximity to convention center. Paid street parking if you drive. I would definitely visit again.

Yelp
The food was fresh and straightforward, just as we prepare at home. That was the problem. We expected more - something different, the reason for eating out. The setting is charming and the wait staff professional. The complimentary bruschetta was a punch of raw garlic. The lamb chops were ordinary. The gumbo was a disappointingly small serving. The filet in the fish Capri was dry, leathery. Dessert of lemon icebox pie was disappointingly tiny.

Yelp
We recently traveled to New Orleans and we weren't sure about travel plans sticking so we didn't have dinner reservations for the first night in town. Luckily, Annunciation had room for us to snag a last-minute reservation and we were thrilled to find them. They are near the French Quarter and it was a pleasant walk from the hotel. The building is an "upcycled" warehouse so it's got that historic NOLA vibe. It was decorated for Christmas when we visited so the decor inside was absolutely delightful. The food was so tasty and delicious, especially the seafood. This is very classic New Orleans food but with some interesting, unique twists. The ambiance was classy - crisp, white tablecloths and nicely dressed waitstaff. The feel was casual but classy. Not stuffy or uptight. Had that classic, Southern hospitality nailed. The only issue we had was that there was a very loud, drunk, table of diners next to us and they literally threw food at us. We really hoped the management would handle them, and they did try to keep an eye on it but were unsuccessful. I don't feel it is indicative of the normal clientele at this establishment. I would happily visit Annunciation again on our next visit. We have already suggested it to friends who were heading to NOLA.

Yelp
I recently traveled to New Orleans and found this amazing gem hidden away in New Orleans. We decided to walk from our hotel, which was right across from the Convention Center. So it's in a convenient location for tourists. The atmosphere was so welcoming with amazing lighting and fancy tablecloths. There are two floors in this beautiful restaurant along with a bar, so you don't have to worry about lack of seating. To be honest, we went on a Monday night, so there may be a crowd more on the weekends. The customer service was great as the Maitre'd, Sergio, was attentive and ensured that we had everything we needed. I started off with a glass of Chardonnay and it was lovely along with my meal, which was the highlight of the night. I order the lamb chops with mashed potatoes and green beans. This is top 5 one of the best meals I have had in my life. I couldn't get enough! I still dream about these lamb chops to this day. I ended with dessert, bread pudding. I wasn't a fan of the dessert, but I still had to rate this place with 5 stars because the meal was to die for. If you go to New Orleans, you have to visit this hidden gem and take a break from the touristy restaurants. Enjoy your meal!

Yelp
I realized Coolinary time was running out and decided to try this place for the first time. Patrick was a great server, the host who sat me was very welcoming - basically everyone there was very nice. All the food was amazing if you can't tell by the pictures. The couple sitting next to me raved about the escargot and seemed to enjoy their meal as well. It's definitely a much nicer place than I normally eat at but it was nice to treat myself and try something new. It was worth it.

Yelp
First visit to this restaurant. Was impress with the variety of the entree selections so my friend an I decided to give it a try. We were not disappointed. The food was prepared well and our two severs were very patient in answering our questions regarding the menu. Their recommendation for us to try the Boudin Balls, Drum Fish and Homemade Cheesecake was not disappointing. The service provided by our server (Sam) was excellent and attentive. We will return here without hesitation.

Yelp
What a great local spot! I've been wanting to check it out for awhile and finally went for my anniversary as we both hadn't been prior to. The ambiance is amazing. It's upscale but not to the point where you feel like you don't belong. You can still dress casually if you choose. The service was top notch. They made sure we had everything we needed at every moment. The food was very tasty!!!! We started with complimentary bread service and then we got the crabmeat au gratin as another starter. It was so FULL of crabmeat and the cheese was perfect. For entrees we had the duck and the lamb chops. The only gripe we had was the green beans that came with the lamb came out ice cold and my spinach was raw on the plate. Other than that the duck and lamb chops were cooked perfectly. The sides were also great. I love a good mashed potato (or any potato for that matter)...the wild rice was good too. Definitely wanna give them another try because I saw some other great things on the menu. They have something for everyone. I'll be back and y'all Should definitely make your way there.

Yelp
Nice ambiance, food was wonderful, my only complaint was we had to wait for our meals to be served. The Seafood Gumbo was delicious. I like the consistency of the gumbo. It wasn't watery and it wasn't too thick. Great taste, not spicy at all. After that I had one of the specials for the night. It was two crab cakes on a fried green tomato with a corn, sausage and andouille sausage. The crab cakes were wonderful. They were large, full of crab and not a lot of fillers. Very very tasty. I'd recommend them when available.

Yelp
We had a fantastic dinner here! I was so surprised to read negative reviews. First, the place is nice and clean. Modern interior. The waiter was amazing! He was hilarious and super attentive. We hit it off immediately, chatted about common places we loved. Great guy! The food was delicious! We had a party of 5 and all of us enjoyed every bite! We left the place seriously overstuffed!

Yelp
An absolute pristine experience! We were seated immediately to a quaint table in the corner of the dining room, the lites were dim, and music played ever so gently in the background. Our server (Sam) was extremely attentive and friendly. I chose the Soft-shell Crab Monica and my wife selected the Gulf Fish Capri. For starters we shared the Oyster Brochette and my bite contained a tiny pearl Lucky me! Annunciation stands tall in my experience of French cuisine with a slight southern influence. Everything was delicious and presented with an artistic touch. Their wine selection complements the establishments offerings and the service is top shelf. Highly recommend.

Yelp
Annunciation rescued our Saturday night. You see, I thought my wife had made reservations for a landmark restaurant for tonight, and she thought I had. That left us scrambling today to find a nice restaurant. Annunciation had availability and the Coolinary menu sounded interesting, so we booked this morning. What a great stroke of luck! My wife, son and I ordered from the Coolinary menu while my daughter and her boyfriend ordered from the dinner menu. We were all very pleased, and shared enough so that everyone got to try a bite of everyone else's food. Starters: The boudin balls were pretty good. My wife got the tomato maison, my son the escargot and I had crab sardo. They were all very good. I particularly enjoyed the crab sardo. The hollandaise had a nice bit of spice. Entrees: My wife ordered the chicken maison, my son the veal marsala, my daughter the shrimp linguine, boyfriend the filet mignon and I had the gulf fish capri. The chicken was good, though the rosemary and thyme were a little strong, my son loved the veal and the boyfriend particularly enjoyed the filet with the bernaise. I thought the marinara for my daughter's linguine was excellent. My gulf fish capri, made tonight with blackened drum, was the best of the bunch. It was cooked perfectly, topped tastefully with crawfish, crabmeat, capers and tomatoes, with a wonderful buerre blanc sauce. It was 5/5. Dessert: We all had the bananas foster and polished it off despite being stuffed. The staff was wonderful, attentive and so friendly. My next time in New Orleans I will make it a point to come again.

Yelp
Great food, consistent and large portions! The staff (Carlos and Sam) always make me feel welcomed.

Yelp
Been there multiple times and their food and service is hard to beat!! DO NOT MISS the Southern Smash!!

Yelp
Shrimp remoulade salad was excellent well cooked shrimp, well seasoned. Beet salad had all the components but missing acidity. Gumbo rice was blown. Advertised as light but is quite heavy and stew like. Crab and corn bisque was good but not memorable. Bread crust is too hard. Butter creamed is a nice touch. The big disappointments of the dinner: the filet had no char or sear at all. Nice presentation and components but those didn't save the dish. Very expensive for lack of preparation skill. Veal has no char or sear. Dish was well seasoned but meat wasn't prepared correctly. The service was okay. Server asks how food tastes but doesn't care to listen to any feedback and gives his thoughts on the dish. Dining room is loud. No background music.

Yelp
We had dinner here on Friday night. Beautiful restaurant, friendly and amazing staff. I had a filet (med) with scallops on top, green beans and potatoes. My wife had the spinach and ricotta ravioli. We split a cup of gumbo as an appetizer just to try it. All was amazing! Could have been my best steak ever! We talked our self's into a piece of the homemade cheese cake to go but ate most of it there. We have been disappointed every time we have eaten out lately but this was an absolute winner! We would highly recommend Annunciation if you are craving a great meal worth the money with great service and a great atmosphere. Thanks!

Yelp
Can't even figure out where to start! The food is to die for. Service amazing. I got the boudin balls for appetizer- really good. I ordered the duck for entree - again superb flavour. I git the bananas foster dessert, which was also amazing. The prices are on the higher side BUT the food is worth it.

Yelp
We were treated like VIP's from our first hello to leaving after a fabulous meal. The wait staff is attentive & kind. The food is creative and delicious. Nice small restaurant which made us feel at home in busy New Orleans. I highly recommend this restaurant a bit off the beaten path.

Yelp
The ambience of this restaurant is nice, and their artwork is very interesting. We visited on a Saturday night right when they opened, and the restaurant was almost empty. We were disappointed overall with the service and the food. There were many servers and a couple of owners/managers(?) wandering around the restaurant. However, no one could keep our water filled and drink service was slow. I have a medical condition and need water to push my food down my esophagus. The majority of servers catch on to this very quickly - but not here. When my seafood gumbo was served, it was COLD. I had no water, so I went to the bar to ask for water. The bartender completely ignored me and acted as if I was invisible. Next I asked our server, who was standing in the back next to the water pitchers. He took my glass and said he would refill it and bring it to me, which was weird, but okay. I went back to the table. Unfortunately, he stood and waited at the bar for the table's mixed drinks to be prepared before bringing my water. 10 minutes later my water arrives. Obviously, the seafood "gumbo" is even colder at this point. The seafood gumbo is not gumbo and is more soup. A bunch of us ordered the special lasagne. I don't recommend it. It was a very small piece for $30, and it seemed to contain very little cheese and the day before's leftovers - carrots, greens, andouille sausage! It was advertised as meat lasagne. Half the table seemed to like their food ;the ones that were drinking) and the other half was not impressed. I wouldn't go back and give it another chance. Food is not worthy of the price. Street paid parking.

Jonathan T.

Yelp
Food and eating experience was definitely subpar. Service was sporadic and food was meh.

Carley T.

Yelp
THE BEST food I've ever had, service was wonderful! I had the New York Strip Steak, but everything we ordered was phenomenal!! The crab ravioli was SO DELICIOUS! Overall, it was the best birthday dinner

Kait L.

Yelp
Recently had dinner here for NYE celebration. The restaurant is charming and the wait staff very welcoming. This menu was prix fixe and the value was good. The food was good, but not really excellent. Our meal started with a nice appetizer - bruschetta with tasty tomato puree/sauteed veggies. We then had the oyster rockerfellar soup - ordinary and would not order this item again . For the entre everyone chose the pan roasted drum, which again was rather ordinary. Dessert was the best part of the meal - ice cream with berries and tiramisu. We have eaten here before and had similar experience. This restaurant's strengths are its charm and welcoming staff. Also it is a bit difficult to park after dark.
google avatar

Daniel S.

Yelp
The food was delicious and the service was good. I had the duck and the fried green tomatoes. Both were good. Although you don't want to overcook fried green tomatoes and make them mushy, mine were almost cool to the touch in the middle. It's possible they were pre-made, and then just barely reheated, and if that's the case they weren't reheated sufficiently, but that's a minor issue for such otherwise well done food. The accompanying slaw was especially memorable.
google avatar

Patricia R.

Yelp
My husband and I had dinner at Annunciation recently and our visit was a bit strange. The service was excellent. The hostess and our waiter were wonderful. I literally only have the best things to say about them. Here's the rub. The food wasn't good. I don't think we ordered anything that we enjoyed. I'm hoping they were just having an off night, but who knows. I don't know if we'll return, but I can say that if we don't, we'll miss the service.

Chris F.

Yelp
Atmosphere was great and our server was attentive and polite, but if you're in New Orleans, the food simply needs to be better. We had shared appetizers for our table. The boudin balls were dry, kind of like they had been made earlier and sat under a heat station. They were offered with creole mustard, which could have saved the dryness but alas there was about a snowflake-sized dab of mustard for each ball. Broiled oysters read great on the menu, but were bland and lukewarm when served. The duck and andouille gumbo was a really nice gumbo and the only dish of the night that seemed properly seasoned. The shrimp etouffe had no depth of flavor and the sauce had the consistency of broth. The chef seemed to try to correct that by adding more salt, which didn't work well. Other diners in my party of 6 shared similar disappointments on their dishes which included veal and duck. Also, It would have been nice to have been offered some Louisiana hot sauce to give an option that might have enhanced the flavors a bit but the servers just dropped and left, that being the only time they were inattentive. Next time, we will just stop at Gus' Fried Chicken or Cochon for some food with flavor.

Yelp
Hey hey y'all! Recently I visited @annunciationnola for dinner. I'm sure you all have passed it and wondered, what is that. I went there for dinner, it was a small nice intimate spot. Dim lights, full bar, minimal seating. I of course had to start myself off with a cocktail. I selected one of their specialties, the "Lemon Champagne" which consist of vodka, housemaid sours and of course champagne. It reminded me of a fizzed lemon drop! For starters I ordered two appetizers. Fried Chicken & Dumplings and Fried Green Tomatoes. The fried green tomatoes was topped off with boiled shrimp and their house remoulade. The tomatoes were extremely thick, shrimp was perfectly cooked and the remoulade for me was OK. Wouldn't have guessed it was remoulade. The fried chicken and dumplings weren't my favorite either. For chicken they used thighs, which were hard to cut and were definitely dryer than your average dark meat and they used potato dumplings. The dumplings reminded me a lot of a gnocchi. For our main course I ordered the pan seared gulf fish. It came on a bed of sweet potato hash. Which were great. Perfect crunch. On top of that was sautéed kale. Now baby, that kale was great. My fish was seasoned well and I added lump crab on top. Now the lump crab was a bit scaly so I asked for fresh lump and the second batch came out better. My guest ordered lamb chops. Which came with mashed potatoes and green beans. The lamb chops were cooked correctly (Pink center). ‍ To say the place was small and there were only two other tables dining in, I definitely thought everything would me Overall rating

Yelp
I hosted a corporate event at Annunciation and the food, atmosphere, and service were excellent. While we did have to switch the room reservation to a larger room at an extra cost after having been told the original space would accommodate our group, the staff on site were extremely helpful and attentive to our guests. We had some guests lingering for longer than the space was booked for and they were very accommodating and understanding.

Stephanie C.

Yelp
The menu is ambitious and diverse but falls short on execution, and healthy options. 8 appetizers are all fried with one exception. Shrimp remoulade salad featured a spicy sauce and tasty deviled egg. Unfortunately, the shrimp was overcooked and rubbery. Croutons were strong on herbs, overpowering everything else going on in the salad. Really wanted to dine on a classic New Orleans entrée, but the soft shell crab paired with pasta Alfredo seemed a bit heavy. So I tried it with a different vegetable accompaniment. Swimming in butter instead. Ordered crème brûlée for dessert. Strangest charred topping - looked like a leopard's spots. Tasted ok although not pleasing to the eye. Dining room is small, cozy, with a relaxed atmosphere. If only the food were as enjoyable as the ambiance. Waitstaff was attentive and polite, although somewhat distant. There are far too many incredible dining options in New Orleans at this price point to recommend trying this restaurant again.

Yelp
We dined here on our last night in New Orleans after Jazz Fest. Melissa was our server and she was fantastic. Very knowledgeable about the menu and the nuances of the dishes. We had a lot of questions due to food allergies and preferences-she was patient and great. The food she delivered was delicious! Our vegetarian daughter ordered fettuccine Alfredo made especially for her since it's not offered on the menu. My husband and I ordered Gulf Fish Capri and the fish special. Both were outstanding.
google avatar

Sarah G.

Yelp
We were able to walk in and be seated immediately in a wonderful ambiance! Our waiter was beyond nice and recommended the soft shell crab and said 9 other people had got it earlier that night per his recommendation and that sold me even though I was set on the fillet. It was absolutely DELICIOUS! I never would have gotten this on my own and I'm so glad the waiter said something. The perfect amount of Cajun/creole spice and exactly what I was looking for to try in Louisiana!

Brian M.

Yelp
Great vibe. Bar selection for drinks and wine is outstanding. Thought it was odd when we ordered salads that they were brought to us within 60 seconds. But it wasn't busy, so while not a great dining experience, ok. Then we ordered a steak. Less than 120 seconds after we told the bartender we wanted a steak, it was served to us. Not even a slight exaggeration. $46 for a steak that is on the table less than 2 min after we told the server what we wanted. Not a dining experience I expected or would like to repeat.

Lauren N.

Yelp
Lovely, high-end yet non-pretentious environment. I went for Coolinary and was pleasantly surprised. Great, enthusiastic service (don't remember his name but he had a shaved head and reddish beard). Had a scenic window view and classed-up versions of New Orleans classics.

Yelp
We went for Christmas Eve Reveillon dinner and it was one of the worst dinning experiences. The staff seemed completely confused about what to do, it took more than an hour to get an appetizer, and the desserts that were substituted were ice cold [not warm cream brulee]. I spoke to the manager an he had no explanation except "I'm sorry." The entire evening was poorly handled and I would never consider returning there.
google avatar

Natalie G.

Yelp
Found this place after leaving another restaurant that didn't have dessert options. I wasn't sure on what to expect since the reviews aren't that great but turns out they have good drinks and great desserts. Now this restaurant does requires you to have reservations but the host tried his best to be accommodating. Thankfully, enough space cleared up at the bar so we sat there vs waiting for a table. The bartender was very very friendly made us some good drinks. We ordered the bread pudding and crème brûlée. The brûlée was made perfectly(super creamy and not over baked) and the bread pudding was delicious. Don't let the other reviews turn you away from this place.
google avatar

Micah G.

Yelp
I love dining in New Orleans, but unfortunately I cannot recommend this restaurant. The staff was very friendly and the restaurant was very clean but the food was terrible. Everything tasted as though it was made in an off-site kitchen and reheated. Sadly my meal was brought out cold, twice. I hate leaving a poor review because the front of house staff was clearly trying so hard, but the kitchen just wasn't up to snuff.

Yelp
We loved this place. This was my third visit as a tourist, attending a convention. The receptionist was welcoming and allowed us to stay at the bar, as we were early and our table was not ready. Bartender was not very helpful-- we purchased a bottle of wine at the bar as we hade several people. He placed the bottle on the bar, unopened and no wine glasses! Other than this, everything else was great- the waitress was knowledgeable and helpful. The appetizers -- fried oysters and fried tomatoes-- amazing. Most of us had the special fish dish over kale. Very good. Desert-- bread pudding topped with bananas foster-- excellent. The price was quite reasonable. We plan to return again. Easy walk from the convention center, but walk as a group. The neighborhood can be sketchy.

Yelp
Patrick was amazing! The food was all excellent and they literally have the best dessert menu in a New Orleans! Love it every time !

Yelp
This is one of my go-to places in New Orleans. Usually very mellow on weekday evenings. I had the lamb chops the other night and my wife had the duck. Both were excellent. We decided to eat at the bar since the Saints game was on TV. Cocktails were great. Tim the bartender was cool. He gave us tips for some other places when we mentioned we were on vacation. Now that I think of it, every bartender we have encountered here has been really nice. Business casual and an easy walk from the convention center. If you are staying around Poydras and Tchoupitoulas St. it is probably a 15 minute walk up Tchoupitoulas to get there (bear right at the gas station where the street forks).

Yelp
I had the veal annunciation and bread pudding. The veal was over cooked and it literally had cream sauce with no seasoning what so ever. The bread pudding was good from what my boyfriend said. I didn't taste it bc I was so disappointed in the pasta I had.

Yelp
Meet friends for a business dinner. The place has a great atmosphere for functions that involve friends and conversation. We had an excellent dinner. I'd recommended going here.

Yelp
Really really disappointed in this establishment. We came all the way from Florida and were recommended this restaurant by our in laws. When arrived for NYE dinner we were blindsided with a prefix menu that was not advertised on the website as being the only option for food. It would be one thing if they were showcasing a few of their tried and true favorites from their menu- but it was completely different food all together. All of it was frankly- pretty bad. The amose bouche was very basic bruchetta. We ordered the ravioli, the bbq shrimp, the salad, and the gumbo for our second course. For main dishes we ordered the eggplant Capri, chicken Capri, the pork, and the fish. It was very clearly scoop and dump premade cafeteria style food to make it come out faster. Across the board we agreed food was under seasoned and poorly cooked. The risotto was hard, the shrimp was burned. What really grinded my gears the most was I, as a vegetarian, was really excited to see options clearly marked with a (V) to let me know which options were safe for me to order. When my eggplant arrived it was covered in crawfish! I was shocked because it is a vegetarian dish and it definitely did not have crawfish in the description!! Makes me wonder if their chef is brand new. I had to send it back. By the time I got my new, crawfish free eggplant, my party had already finished eating. My husband's chicken Capri was the thinnest piece of chicken I've ever seen in my life, and 99% breading. Both the eggplant and chicken capris were incredibly salty- it was basically the only flavor you could taste. Our servers had to be called over to us each time- they never checked on us. The inside is nice, Christmas decor was cute. We spoke to the restaurant manager and he was flippant- he asked what website we looked at to not see their pre fix menu. What website? Yours! The place we made our reservations. Later we saw they had posted something on Facebook. Wild to me that they expect customers to hunt down all their social media pages to know what we're getting in to. After alcohol and food it was $350 before tip for amateur hour at a cafeteria line. Won't be back for a pre fix anytime soon, hopefully their regular menu is better!

Yelp
Perfect lowkey, upscale fine dining experience. The vibe of the restaurant was amazing, the food was hot and flavorful, and the pricing was good as well. Our service was very good and I couldn't have asked for a better time.

Yelp
I stand corrected Perhaps I was not in the French Quarter (was told not dirty and doesn't smell) , my apologies to the residents and neighborhood, if I offended you, but seeing so many homeless on the streets, trash and hustlers at the corners, I was not leaving my car to walk around alone, I must of drove by somewhere near there, I know that for sure. Just not my kinda place.

Yelp
Can't remember a worse experience at a restaurant. Not only did the waiter hit me in the face with a plate hard enough to break my tooth when trying to take the plate from in front of me. The manager/maitre'd Richard Williams did not offer to comp my meal and got physically threatening, when I suggested that was the least they could do. After several members of the party approached them, they took my entree off of the bill, but not my drink or app. Table of 13 adult professionals, who all very seasoned travelers/foodies. It was my coworkers offering to cover the cost of my meal/wine when they felt bad for what happened, not the restaurant. Not right.
