Another Bite

The experience started badly when we got in the place. The smell was really bad. The place looked dirty. We ordered coffees… the cups were completely dirty. Worst coffees ever. We couldn’t even drink them because they were very strong. One of the waiters wore dirty clothes. We waited 30 minutes for breakfast at least. Also bacon was burnt. Fortunately the waffles were fine.

My bf and I had the pleasure of having brunch delivered this past weekend while I was visiting Chicago. The food arrived quickly, was fresh and delicious, and the delivery person was kind and courteous (and masked!). I believe I spoke to the owner, John, over the phone when I arranged the delivery, and he was friendly, efficient, and answered all of my questions. Another Bite is a great value and I will definitely be a return customer, and I will be letting friends know to use this restaurant!

Was excited to try this new spot in the neighborhood. Did a carryout order at 8am for a Mexican omelette. The hashbrown portion was really small, and they were mushy and unsalted. Seemed old. The person who took my order didn't ask what kind of cheese I wanted, so they just decided to use American cheese (on an Mexican omelette). I personally hate American cheese, so overall was a really sub par experience

The portion of the hash browns was horrible look how I received my order. Was not a good experience at another bite I didn't even take a bite at all since it looks like they gave me the left overs from someone else's plate I threw away everything. Simply Horrible.

Horrible experience! Food took 45mins to come out and was lackluster. I ordered the Nutella waffles with strawberries and this is what came!! A dollop of Nutella and some frozen strawberries. Bad service. There were 4-5 other groups that had not received their food. Several people left because it was taking too long. Also it was cold inside!!

Don’t bother with this place. Three times I have attempted to support this business by trying to order online and attempting to pick food. All three times unsuccessful. If they are good at making food for which I will never know now, they are horrible at business. My third attempted, I ordered online for pickup. Website accepted my order and payment. Went to go pick up food to discover the place is closed. Even though the website and the electronic sign in there window says open. Rogers Parks sucks for breakfast places but I would recommend Homeybear or Cozy Corner to support a local business.

Delicious. Finally had time to visit, and I'll definitely be going back. Potatoes were cooked just right, and the veggie omelet was perfect.

Ordered bacon, eggs, pancakes and hash browns. All cooked to perfection. My favorite was the bacon!! 😋
